Awww, this is so cute...this literally was my first pair of false lashes...listen I was so excited when I got these 8 years ago.
They are so easy to use, they light weight, and the price point isn't so bad either. That little grey thing though for the application, I found it to be a bit useless. It just never worked for me...nahhh I would pass on that and just use your fingers.
Otherwise, these are definately user friendly, but after a while you will want to upgrade to more fuller lashes, cz these lashes just don't look like much after a while.

Quality ordinarily comes with a weighty price tag, so we settle for cheap because we're broke, and its sold somewhere convenient.
I've tried a few different lash brands, but Eylure has a strangely awesome and simple allure.
I gave the No.118 a try ....and? You cant see it right now, but I'm batting my adorable Disney-cute and long eyelashes at you.
I recommend them purely for the reason that if you're not trying to put them on every day (because who even does that), they are excellent for occasional usage. If you are an amateur like myself, you'll be happy with the result after you've glued the folds of your lids together atleast once. You could practically forget the lashes are on you when you're out...but you'll be so pleased when you see what they do in pictures.

This was my first time using Eylure lashes starter kit. I've used other products in the past, but I really liked the fact that the Eylure lashes came with a applicator as well as lashes to practice on. I wore them first to my graduation, and everyone thought they were my own lashes, which is a huge thumbs up from my side! I liked the fact that one could apply these lashes that gave a little boost, and didn't look like fake eyelashes.
These lashes are so natural looking, I've worn them during the day too, and it just looks like you're using really good mascara.
The area where you apply the glue to, the lash strip essentially, is very thin, which is great as you don't need to try and hide it with a hectic winged eyeliner look.
I'm honestly very impressed with this set of lashes and how easy they've made it for people who are not familiar with false eyelashes.
You can find them at Dischem for R79.95 and they last a long time. I've already worn the same pair of lashes about 6 times already and they still look good as new. It is important to be gentle with the lashes once removing them and also putting them back into their box after use so that they don't get damaged. You can also carefully take off the old glue, so it doesn't build up or get gross and unhygienic.
I recommend!! Try them out and see for yourself!

I am no Huda Beauty or Nikkie Tutorials but with the new Eyelure No.118 lengthening starter kit anyone can be just as good. I have always been curious about how false lashes work. Do they pull out your lashes? Do they blend in with your natural lashes?
To answer all of these questions I decided to try the Eyelure No.118 lengthening starter kit. This kit comes with a pair of lashes; two tubes of glue; a lash applicator; and a tester lash. According to Eyelure, the No. 118 lashes were designed to enhance the natural beauty of your eyes.
There kit also has a nifty step-by-step guide at the back so you know what to do and how to do it. Basically you take your tester lash and measure your lash band and trim off the excess. I have quite small eyes so I had to clip off quite a bit. You then add some glue to the lash band; wait 20 seconds and then apply it as close to your natural lash band as possible.
What makes applications so effortless is the addition of the lash applicator. It really helps get the centre of your lash right up against your natural lashes. You then place the centre and outer band in place using your fingers or tweezer. To blend your falsies and natural lashes together, a quick application of mascara will do the trick.
It amazes me how natural my lashes looked! It looked so natural with an added bit of length and volume. This is ideal for those who have sparse eyelashes and want to add a bit of volume to their lashes. I used it for a couple of hours and they did not trouble my eyes in any way. It not tickle or scratch my eyes.
The lashes came off easily at the end of the day without removing any of my precious eye lashes. I popped it back into the box and they were perfect for the next makeup look a few days later.

I have never had on false lashes before, never given them a single though but after trying the Eylure false lash starter kit I fell in love, literally. The lashes were easy to apply and easy to remove as well. I also appreciated the practice lash. I found is very useful, considering the fact that I have never tried on falsies before, I loved that I could practice without ruining my lashes.
On wearing the lashes. They feel and look very natural. I had them on for a whole night, I didn't feel irritated. They were very light on my eyelids. The glue also held well the whole time. I would recommend these to everyone, ladies, get your Eylure kit and bat your effortlessly glamorous lashes.

I adore the look of false eyelashes - it just makes your eyes pop and stand out. They a great for a romantic evening out and look so natural. It takes a bit of practice and a steady hand to get these babies on, but when they're glued in place, they are worth the wait. Many of the brands make me itch - i'm not sure if its the glue - but these ones didn't have that affect on me.

I received this a few days ago and boy was I excited and nervous at the same time . I have never used or applied false lashes before and just looking at them can intimidate you .
This was so not the case with the Eylure lashes , the step by step instruction made it so simple after just reading it I felt confident and like a PRO.
I was thrilled to find that they are courteous enough to give you a "practice lash" in case you want to do a practice run first .
The lashes are natural looking and gorgeous when applied . They give your eyes such a defined look without making you look like you have falsies on . I love that you dont need apply mascara on these , its really optional I chose not to and it still made me look like had naturally full long lashes .
Whats even better is that as easy as they are to apply , its just as easy to remove .
Your eyes dont feel uncomfortable or heavy as I would have expected them to . They are actually very lightweight.
So thank you BB and Eylure, you have introduced me to one more thing that makes me look and feel fabulous

I love this product. Using it is self explanatory and they have a step by step instructional guide to assist and also the tweezer makes life so much easier!!! I am still using my tweezer because its just super easy.
I recommend buying one starter kit to practice and get that amazing tweezer then buying the normal lash boxes. Such a good investment to have that tweezer!
Also quality lashes, glue does not hurt when removing and you can use make-up remover to wipe any excess.
Only downer is the glue tending to wear off pretty quickly and I find myself looking at shiny dried glue which doesn't look appealing if you a first time user who struggles to apply the glue perfectly (we are not all make-up guru's) I just use MAC glue because the quality is amazing :) .

I started my week long journey with Eylure London Lengthening starter kit of false lashes extremely optimistic at the opportunity of using false lashes. I have never worn false lashes before and was excited at the prospect. I flipped the pack over and went through the instructions quickly, eager to try the product. Once I read the how-to's, I quickly snipped off the length that I would not need and applied the lash glue. After waiting the required 20-30 seconds, I applied the lashes to my eyes, just above my natural lash line.
Here is where I encountered some difficulty. I don't know if it's the shape of my eyes or the amount of glue that I applied, but I couldn't get the lashes to stay on. Both the outer and inner corners would peel off after a few minutes, and my relentless sticking down and re-applying did not seem to help. This was the process I followed for about four days, not wearing the lashes longer than about an hour each day as a result of the frustration of peeling off and sticking down. Eventually on the fifth day, I decided to just stick it out, and although I did have to continue to stick down for the first hour and a half, after that they seemed to stay put.
It's probably just me though, and my lack of lash skills, because I haven't read that anybody else has had this difficulty, and it definitely hasn't put me off this product!
They are so worth it after a bit of practice and effort, and I am thoroughly enjoying wearing them.
So this is to all the girls who don't find lash application easy - just stick it out for a little while, and they will stay on eventually. This is a great product for those of us that need a little help :)

The Starter Kit is definitely a must try for all those beauty enthusiasts who are just scared to try false lashes because they scared they will mess it up or look funny somehow.
What is awesome is that they give an extra lash to experiment with and an easy step-by-step instructions, so you will never go wrong.
Honestly this was the first time in a long time that i have worn false lashes due to the fact that i have Allergies, and some of them irritated my eyes and makes them feel heavy.
But after trying the Eylure False Lash Starter Kit i must say it is AMAZING. It felt as if i had nothing on my eyes. It was light and did not make my eyes feel heavy nor itchy. My lashes have never looked this good, nice and thick and oh-so NATURAL.

A while back, I was asked by Beauty Bulletin to be their ‘proef konyn ’, their guinea pig. The product: Eylure Lengthening starter kit, code for falsies.
I’ve never tried false lashes before and always loved the look mascara gives me, so I was obviously very excited. I’ve always heard the worst kinds of stories when it comes to false lashes, ‘you can glue your eyes shut together’, ‘your actual eyelashes fall out as well’ and many other horror stories so naturally, I was a little hesitant.
If you guys never done online shopping before or do not really understand the excitement that comes with it, it is wonderful. It is the equivalent of Christmas Eve. Seeing and knowing that there are gifts waiting for you but knowing that you may only open them the following day.
The Eylure lashes has a wide range and I have seen it being sold at Clicks and Dischem. The set of lashes I tried are being sold at R79.99.
These are specifically for the lengthening effect but there are other variants available like, volumising and party options (party options = lashes with glitter/diamante on them) (I think that is what they are called).
The Eylure starter pack comes with a pair of a pair of plastic tweezers to make application easier (I personally preferred not using them), there is also a practice lash (makes so much sense as it is a ‘starter kit’), two bottles of glue (lashes are reusable) and the pair of eyelashes.
I found the application process rather tricky at first, I had difficulty applying them as close to my actual lash and I made a bit of a mess with them glue. Once I mastered the art of the falsies, I properly flousrished. I loved how natural these looked, I definitely did not look like I was about to take off with my lashes.
Another problem I had was with the glue, once dried it became a whitey silicone texture. I also found that it wasn’t as gluey as I had hoped. Doubt it is water resistant so I probably will not be making it part of my daily make up as,
1.I am lazy.
2.I usually only apply BB cream and mascara to my face.
3.Because I am lazy.
4.The Eylure lash fell off while I was presenting in court (definitely not my proudest moment), this could be due to me not applying it on properly or it not being a whole day thing and rather just a going out thing.
Eylure will most definitely be part of my going out make up routine. I love how it does not make my already big eyes bigger but rather has it poppin’.
The starter kit is a definite must try for newbies and pros alike!

For someone who's not a fan of false lashes these babies were a wonderful discovery! The glue wasnt too messy and the extra lash came in handy, helped a whole lot! Im definitely getting these lashes as part of my beginners' stash staple.

When I first received the Eylure Lengthening Starter Kit I was very excited. I have never been a fan of false lashes because I've seen how fake they look. My first issue was that I was scared that if I made a mistake I wouldn't be able to correct it but this kit is awesome as the steps are easy to follow and it's removable lashes. Then I thought the glue would be messy but I loved the easy application plus the tool to insert the lash made it easier. I enjoyed using these lashes but I was overwhelmed by the length and the application in general. All in all this product is good and easy to use.

Well thank you to Beauty Bulletin and the Eylure Brand, was great getting lashes for the weekend.
For one, this was my first time wearing falsies and I have to say I adjusted very quickly. They were abit too long for a first timer such as myself but they felt comfortable and natural, weren't heavy and easy to apply.
I really enjoyed being a glamour queen for a weekend and my fiancé loved them.

I am over the moon with this kit! Thank you so much Beauty Bulletin for sending me this, you have opened up another world for me today! Applying your own false lashes is no easy task and it is rather difficult to find lashes that won't make you look like a circus clown. These lashes look very natural and I cannot get over the fact that it was so easy to apply. Thanks to the practice lash you can play around until you get the hang of it without ruining the other lashes, the kit also includes a little applicator that makes it very easy to apply. The lashes are also re-usable. I can't wait to wear mine out tomorrow!

The wearing of makeup for me is a bit like the wearing of heels, I look at other women enviously and think "I must do that often" but never actually do. My makeup is usually kept to a bare minimum-Foundation, eyeliner and mascara. So it was with great excitement when I received a pair of Eylure false lashes which not only promised to make me look fabulous it delivers. They are very lightweight and since I have long lashes, they made mine look more fuller, plump and not to forget all the compliments I got. The picture instructions are very easy to follow and the packaging is not so bad too. I wouldn't wear them everyday though just only on special occasions. The instructions are simple and straight forward; no mess and no fuss.
They stick on with ease, there's no pulling, tugging or trying reapply them. The plastic tweezers make for super easy application of glue and pressing them into place on your lid. They fit naturally, there was no need to even shorten them. They were simply the perfect fit.
Once they're on this is where you totally fall inlove with yourself!
They look amaing, long, curled, not too much, not too little. They are the perfect "Goldie Locks" lashes; just right! They not heavy or uncomfortable. Also I wear glasses and when I put them on they wouldn't hit the frame or lenses which was a bonus! 10 brownie points!
They do not look fake at all, it definitely makes an impact and susper pop to your eyes but without it looking like you've stuck on the lashes of a baby cow.
Ok yes I've been ranting on about how amazing they look and feel though I've given the quality rating a 3 because yes they are great but I had two issues; the packaging of how the lashes are held down to the box tends to get small bits stuck on the lashes which need to be removed.

I was very excited to have given the opportunity to try this Product.
After the excitement wore down i struggled three times to put them on. the Product itself is very durable and i love the package style as you even get the tweezers to use for application.

I recently learnt how to apply false lashes, and when I finally got those lashes to sit right I was very pleased with myself.
So when I got these eyelashes from the Beauty Bulletin Team I was over the moon! I like wearing false eyelashes because they give my big eyes definition, especially when I am wearing eye make-up they give my eyes that something extra. I normally wear the Eylure number 141 as they give me the fuller look. The 118 I received from BB I wore during during the day with a short wing.
Of all the false eyelashes readily available on the market the Eylure lashes are by far the best quality. The price of R79.95 is extremely affordable. I find lashes are very natural feeling so they are not hard but soft to touch, the instructions that came with the package were easy to follow except you need to give the glue longer than 30 seconds, you need at least 3 minutes before the glue gets tacky, I also like the fact that he glue dries clear.
Once I applied my lashes I waited for about 5 mins for them to dry a little then I used an eyelash curler to make sure my lashes and the falsie were stuck together. I don't like to add mascara as I find that it clumps the lashes together and I don't like the clumped look.
The lashes are very easy to remove you just peel them off gently the only problem I had was cleaning them, it is a bit of a mission to get all the glue off and you have to be gentle so you don't break them. I used eye makeup remover to clean them and on the stubborn glue I used a Que tip and a bit of alcohol
All in all I loved these lashes and I will definitely be adding them to my collection and using them again.

I find lashes are very natural feeling so they are not hard but soft to touch, the instructions that came with the package were easy to follow except you need to give the glue longer than 30 seconds, you need at least 3 minutes before the glue gets tacky, I also like the fact that he glue dries clear.
Once I applied my lashes I waited for about 5 mins for them to dry a little then I used an eyelash curler to make sure my lashes and the falsie were stuck together. I don't like to add mascara as I find that it clumps the lashes together and I don't like the clumped look.
The lashes are very easy to remove you just peel them off gently the only problem I had was cleaning them, it is a bit of a mission to get all the glue off and you have to be gentle so you don't break them. I used eye makeup remover to clean them and on the stubborn glue I used a Que tip and a bit of alcohol
All in all I loved these lashes and I will definitely be adding them to my collection and using them again.

have never used false falsies before for fear of gluing my eyes shut and also thinking that I may turn out to look like a badly put together drag queen. But recently I was offered a chance to try out a pair of Eyelure Lengthening by the amazing team at Beauty Bulletin – A big thank you for these! I received the Eyelure Lengthening No.118 starter kit which comes with a set of lashes, a practice lash, two tubes of glue (contains latex), applicator and leaflet.
Thank goodness for the practice lash because even though the instructions are easy enough to follow I did find that I had to make some adjustments, like step 1, should really be apply mascara to your natural eyelashes so that your natural eyelashes blend with the falsies. Also I found that if I let the glue become tacky which takes about 2 minutes the eyelash sticks in the right place and I used my tweezers to apply the lashes as I found the applicator a little cumbersome for me.

To Apply (as per the box’s instructions):
1) Lift the lashes from the tray with tweezers, applicator or your fingers (if they are glued across the lash, then ease them away from the half-moon using your thumbs in a downward motion, please do not pick off from the ends.

2) Measure against your eye and if they are too long then, using sharp nail scissors, snip off a small section at a time until they are perfect.
3) Apply a thin line of the Eylure Lashfix glue to the lash band. Wait about 20-30 seconds until it becomes tacky before applying (this is where most applications can go awry).
4) Apply with tweezers, applicator or your fingers (whichever feels natural to you). We believe a tweezers/applicator will give you a more precise placement. Place from the middle of the eye first then adjust the edges so they follow your natural lash line. Press and hold for a few seconds. If you make a mistake, simply remove from the eye, take off the dried glue, reapply and go again.

To Remove:
Hold lash at outside edge and gently peel off – It really doesn’t hurt!
To Reuse:
Remove used glue with fingers or tweezers from the lash band and then store back on tray.
Verdict:
I found these to be really great especially for a first time user. They were super light and fit perfectly on my eye. The best part about these is that they look really natural with just a hint of glamour at the edges. They add the perfect amount of volume and length to wear during the day and I think that if you’re looking to keep it low key, just pop these bad boys on with a pop of color on your lips and you’re ready to head out the door!
And at just R54.95 (Dischem) a pair they’re a really great buy for anyone looking to add a little oopmh to their look.

I have never used false lashes before, neither have I had any desire to try them out. I received my Eyelure False Lash Starter Kit and they sat in my cupboard for about a week or two. I wasn't too sure about it, as I thought won't it be uncomfortable or irritating and what happens when I want to remove it? So one Sunday I decided to try it out and my oh my. I love, love, love it!!!! It was so easy to apply, they made me look absolutely gorgeous, aaaand it was easy to remove, with no irritation to my sensitive eyes. They are reusable and although it is my first go at false lashes, my opinion is that the quality of these lashes are really good, and for only R79.94!!!! Did I mention that I loved it?!!!

I'll start off by saying this was my first time applying false eyelashes myself. So i decided to do so on a night out.
Well the Eylure lashes made it pretty easy for a first timer. I had one go with the practice lash and after that i felt confident enough to trim the lashes and apply.
What i loved most about this product was that it was light weight and did not irritate the eyes at all.
The Eyelure lashes also gives a very natural look and blends in with your natural lashes so you dont look fake and the lashes does not plastic.
Overall I am impressed with this product. Its affordable and its of great quality.

Let me start of by saying that ive never before used false lashed before on my eyes and that im equally satisfies with my own lashes :)
However, Eylure lashes gave me a new found hope for false eye lashes since ive tried it over the weekend.
The beginners kit, is well put together with a practice lash, before you attempt the set on both of your eyes , which is awesome, practice makes perfect!
After a few rounds of practice, i had glued the lashes and placed them on my lids, bare in mind that before you glue and place the lashes on your lid, make sure that you check the size / length of the lashed against your own as i had to trim/ cut away the inner corner to accommodate the shape and size of my eyes.
Overall im impressed, as i also tested the lashes by walking outside in the wind to check that they don't disappoint me someday!
Great quality lashes, price is affordable especially when you are able to re-use them and after a few practice rounds you see that these lashes need enough glue when u apply them to get the ultimate result which i did and will definitely restock them :)

What I love is they are light and it does not feel like you are wearing false eyelashes. My eyes are not irritated by this product and they look amazing. This is a great brand.
