I am own over completely! What tickles my fancy?, it's definitely gotta be the GHD. I've had one for a couple of years now, and can't go WITHOUT it. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, So what tickles my fancy about GHD's are their eye catching new modern look, the sleek, smooth design and one thing that I do love is the metallic kind of look its to die for and there aren't much hair irons out there that look like a GHD or have the same characteristics as a GHD (they have a mind of there own).I also fancy the shape of the GHD as the rounded body makes curls even more luscious, and now that the new GHD Lagoon has floating plates I could only imagine the beautiful perfect locks created from the movement of the plates, how amazing is that. When using other conventional hair irons you might feel a pull at your hair, or experience your hair getting stuck in the edges of the iron, but with a GHD its all smooth sailing just one gentle press and glide and "ta da" shiny pin straight hair, with abit of sexy ofcourse.nBy the way I still have my first GHD ever, and it was given to me as a gift and I treasure it with my life, though I do think its time for something new, fresh and stylish to suit my personality this would be the best time - btw(the cool colour matches my name how superb is that). So how can your feathers not be ruffled by something so technologically beautiful, i'm in awe of the new GHD Lagoon and would do anything to get my hands on one, sooo heres to all the entries Good Luck :-)

The ghd V Lagoon Professional Styler is like a tropical breeze from paradise, transporting me from this chilly winter into a holiday mood. The beautiful blue and turquoise gradient makes me think of flowing, party-on-the-beach hair, complete with cocktails! It’s true that fine feathers make fine birds, because I could style my way to hair perfection with this gorgeous ghd. What ruffles my feathers? This GHD of course :) My friend used to do me the honor of doing my hair with hers, never has my hair felt more alive that what it after using a GHD on me. I have very frizzy hair and it would seem that these babies give my hair the TLC it needs for me to look amazing. The NEW ghd from the Limited Edition Bird Of Paradise Collection is the most beautiful colours I ever saw!!! WOW, wouldn't anyone be jealous of not having such a power tool right next to you. My hair looks like feathers in the morning. What a mission to actually get it all straight and styled for work. I think all females are beautiful and deserve a product that enhances their beauty just a little bit more. Being able to experiment with new styling techniques to find the perfect one that lights up their face and personality. Many wouldn't mind a product like NEW ghd. Especially people like me with my type of hair semi wavy and a little curly. My hair expands and goes out of control because of the steam in the shower or mist outside, even if the weather is just a little cold my hair starts expanding and wavying and I'd sadly have to say goodbye to long hot hour and a half of blowdrying and re blow drying.. this product would really help me out with fast and efficient results.. easy and quick to use.. making life simpler and easier when it comes to unruly hair

GHD is the most awesome straightener on the market.
Due to me that have such stubborn curly hair, the GHD is the straightener to get rid of all the frizz and curls in my hair.
Really wish I could afford to buy one but in today's live you have to turn every penny around you spend.
I sometimes use my sister in-law's one when we go and visit them, but I want my own one to use.

Blue is my favorite color and parrots my favorite bird! What are women, women are beautiful birds. What do birds do fly around gracefully and flaunt their beautiful feathers. Birds don't have GHDs to keep their feathers gorgeous but we do, being the superior species. I am quite the traveller into African countries where my hair goes haywire if it gets into humid areas, lets put it this way, if they had to steal my luggage and my GHD was in there, it would be the first thing on my list to buy, even before my toothbrush. Ok, so I've been wanting to get myself a GHD ever since I borrowed a friends' about 5 years ago... Unfortunately there just always seems to be some other bill that needs paying! I know what you're thinking... But the GHD is an absolute must! And you'd be right. Every time I get my hair done at the salon and the GHD glides through my hair, making my unruly frizzy locks behave with just one try, I promise myself that I'll save up to get one. And then the new Limited Edition Bird of Paradise Collection made it's appearance... Now the need is dire! My friend who has had GHD for 3 years mow made me fall inlove with it. I honestly love it. I have ethnic hair(dreadlocks) and I love weaves. I've always had a thong(the very old one) and I use it to curl my weave when I put it on.

Never having owned a GHD, your question of "what tickles my fancy about a GHD" is quite a difficult one to answer... So instead I will be explaining to you what I imagine it would be like to own one (in particular the one which you are giving away)! Please step into my imaginary world for a few minutes: My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 10 years now - we were high school sweethearts. I got given my first GHD two years ago after years of begging my dad and when I finally got the one thing I had always needed I was ecstatic, I need one so badly because of my very thick, curly & frizzy hair. Nothing else ever worked on my hair. It is honestly the best hair straightener I've ever used and will never go for anything different. With my previous straightener I had to go over the same piece of hair countless times and it still wasn't what one stroke of a GHD does.Unfortunately mine broke and has passed the warranty, so I've really been struggling for quite some time without one. what usually took me 10 mins in the morning to do my hair now takes me forever. I ended up just tying it up and it looks terrible. Its frustrating beyond words! Nothing but good things to say about the GHD brand, even the hair products are amazing. I would be forever grateful to get the new GHD, or in matter of fact any GHD. Nothing else works on my hair and I wouldn't dream of using any other product. #GHDforthewin !!

Unfortunately mine has stopped working and its passed the warranty :( struggling for days without my baby and don't have the money for a new one, would love to show off a new one so beautiful and stop the grey hairs I get from not having one! :) what usually took me 7 mins in the morning to do my hair now takes 20 or more to blow dry it, frustrating beyond words! Nothing but good thing to say about the GHD brand, even the hair products are amazing,Please pick me :D ? would be forever grateful! #GoodHairDay ?

What can I say? Every girl should be given a GHD when born. It's one of life's essentials. It's like saying " hey girl, you deserve to look fantastic every day of your life, don't stress about your hair.. I got this. There's bigger female issues to deal with, so just chillax"... And lets face it. Every lady needs something to help her get ready. The ghd makes getting ready to go out just quick and easy. Making it fun and delightful. Its a sweet experience, From curling to straightening, the outcomes are always brilliant and bring such a gorgeous shine to any hair texture. Personally, I've had at least 3 different hair straighteners before I had my GHD and I never had perfectly straight hair even after setting them to their dangerously " you could have 3rd degree burns if this comes even remotely close to your ear"-temperature levels. Who needs a personal hair stylist when you've got a GHD? Now.. what I love the most is getting those perfect shiny curls from my GHD ( yes it took a few YouTube videos to figure it out) they're so stunning and they last the whole evening. They're Just gorgeous. The New GHD V lagoon is physically stunning. Looks so gorgeous. Reminds me of the breathtaking colours of a hummingbird. It's the colours of tropical paradise without the frizz from the humid climate. A perfect balance. I'm in love. If I did however win this lovely gift, I'd give it to my best friend. Having kids, leaves her no time to tackle her hair. This will make life so much easier for this wonder woman. :) xx Taryn D

This GHD is absolute eye candy to any girl, young or old! The awesome thing about the GHD is that it never goes out of fashion with the evolving designs and colours. It is always in trend! I use my GHD EVERYDAY to straighten my long, wavy hair...sometimes more than once as i live near the coast...my bunny decided to chew through my cable though so i had to give it a quick fix as i refuse to buy any other cheaper straightner brand...it would be amazing to win this beautiful new blue (my fav colour) straighter with a fully intact cable, lol!

In all honesty I've had my GHD for the past 7 years! With not one repair , issue or fault! It's the only hair styling product that I do not only recommend , but stay faithfull and loyal to! I take it literally everywhere and Even tho mine still looks a bit old school, it does it's job! I just love the new look GHD, as not only does the company stay loyal to its product , but continues to come up with new designs and styles that keeps up with our continuous changing fashion! Please please please consider me :) it WILL Come to a good home, just ask my 7 year old GHD :)
