GHD has always been somewhat of a status symbol. I remember going on a weekend trip and this girl askes if I straightened my hair with a GHD and I did not own one then. I immediately said yes... She raved about it and I did too, saying how I could never live without it etc. Little did I that it would be the case. I got my GHD in 2010/2011 and I have had the best hair days since then. Whenever we go somewhere and I dont pack my GHD I have to use a normal straightener. I literally cry at the state of my hair after using a normal straightener. When people ask me how much my GHD was they cringe. They dont KNOW how it changes your life. My GHD is an addiction. My husband has failed to date to insure my GHD. I have told him if something were to happen to it he will replace it that same day. No way in hell will I ever use any other straightener ever again. This bird of paradise collection is absolutely gorgeous. I cant wait to get my hands on it. GHD is my drug.

This is the most beautiful ghd i have ever seen! Lagoon yes but how about peacock? Ever since i borrowed my cousin's ghd for a wedding, i have been dreaming of owning one. But there is always something that i have to use my money for, so no luxuries. I remember how soft and smooth my hair was, with so little effort! I received so many compliments that day. Peacocking and ruffling of feathers and such. Fantastic. Kisses xxx

I never really won anything my whole life and to win the GHD V Lagoon would be a true blessing,I often wondered how can something look so damn good and satisfy us all at once. Everything about the GHD ruffles my feathers :-) I have been a GHD fan for ages now and the colour is gorgeous!!! I can be very forgetful at times so I love the sleep mode as I'm often rushing around and forget to switch things off. Not to mention the quick heating - fabulous for those manic Mondays when you are running late. I have extremely curly and frizzy hair and the GHD would be a fantastic birthday gift for me - 27 June

EVERYTHING about a GHD straightener ruffles my feathers from its quick heating to the automatic sleep mode. I love that the ceramic covered aluminium plates heat evenly and glide smoothly over my hair, giving me beautiful defrizzed hair in minutes. The rounded barrel means I can use my straightener to create curls, waves and flicks when straight is just not enough. But the Birds of paradise collection is not only functional but also pretty with the flowing ombré colouration.

Since then I've always known that I had to have one. Unfortunetely I've not had the oportunity yet but I'm pretty sure that you guys can make my dream come true!

I remember back in the day.. the things us woman had to go through to look good.. aaahh if that stubborn hair didnt set then thats the end of it!it just ruined your whole mood especially if you're about to go out.. then came the trusty old clothing iron trick. Using a normal iron to get those fizzy locks into place and making them smooth..us woman would try anything. Always determined lol.. then years later hair irons came about and made things more simple..of course it didnt stay straight for long.. along came the super ghd.. like a god given gift to woman kind (and some men)oh how it tickled my fancy. . Slick and smooth hair within minutes. . Super fabulous ghd curls!!! Certainly ruffled my feathers so to say.. theres no turning back after finding that sort of perfection. . All I gota do now is save up for my very own :( oh well. What tickles my fancy about the new ghd V Lagoon professional styler is the stunning color combination which instantly makes me think of a peacock, luuuurv it! It has automatic sleep mode after 30 min which is what all women need in there busy lifestyles, we can rest assured that we wont burn the house down when we forget to switch off our ghd. The long cord makes it so easy to move around and do your hair without getting tangled and I love that you can take your ghd anywhere in the world.
My feathers get ruffled when I start to play with my ghd, the things you can do with it are endless, from tight or loose curls to summer waves, to sleek and straight, effortlessly in the shortest of time.

GHD's are life savers to girls. My mom owns one and I use hers all the time. It's the only straightener that 1) straightens my fair fast 2) once my hair is straightened, it stays straight for a good couple of days. It is unlike any other straightener, definitely the top of the range and a brand leader in my eyes. Once I used a GHD for the first time, I never touched another brand. I would very much like to own my own GHD easpecially now that I away at university and don't have access to my moms. Having my own GHD would help my mess of a hair some days and that means I would not have to have it up in a ponytail most days

SOOOOO 3 months ago my ghd gold packed up and i spent a long time in depression hating my thick frizzy head of steel wool for breaking even my ghd. I mean whats the chance of having a good hair day without my babygold so now u rock upstyles looking like a librarian,strict and all too serious. I know that this might sound totally insane but I definitely need to ruffle a few feathers and I am sure that the New GHD Lagoon will help me do just that!
I recently broke up with my boyfriend and I am still mad about the whole ordeal! My best friend reckons that the best revenge is to look smoking hot and upgrade my look, my ex won't know what hit him! He will definitely punch himself for letting me go!

With the new GHD, I can go fro being a tokolosh to a queen in 30 min. Looking great an leaving my hair looking so incredibly healthy. I almost died when my GHD broke. Did someone say 'Ruffled feathers' ? Thats kind of how my hair looks every day! I have never had a GHD, but I have had the pleasure of using one a couple of times. I would love to be able to leave my long hair down instead of tying it up all the time. Im a busy mom of two even busier boys (2 year old and 4 week old) and I dont have much time to faff with my hair. Really have to admit ghd never disappointing me. I had my ghd for 5 years and it still works great. My hair used to be brittle and dry and I had so many split ends ever since I started using those cheap flat irons you can buy at supermarkets but the ghd makes my hair softer their heat protecting products prevents my hair from breaking and going all bad on me. What really tickles my fancy about the ghd is that my boyfriend doesn't complain about me spending like 3 hours straightening my hair anymore because with the ghd it takes me like less then a hour so now I can straight his curly hair aswell before we go out for the night and I don't have to be embarrassed for my damaged hair anymore so now I can be more care free and my boyfriend can finally agree having a ghd is at most important seeing that he uses it more then me :) Great product would advise everyone to invest in one

I have a confession to make - I don't own a GHD :( But I am an avid "borrowing-without-permission" sinner when it comes to my hairdresser little sister's GHD. WOW!!
After straightening my hair with a GHD, it remains straight and shiny for at least 2 days, which is a miracle in itself, as I have wavy hair and am constantly in my car (think open windows, sun, aircon, etc.)
After "borrowing" the GHD for 3 days, my colleagues (and even our HR Manager) were all commenting on how great my hair looks - all the while thinking that I went for a Brazilian Blowdry.
After months of struggling with dry, damaged, frizzy hair, the GHD smoothed out not only my hair, but also all my hair problems and after returning to my usual flat iron this morning, I ended up tying up my hair anyway, as the results were just not the same. I miss "my" GHD. A LOT.

So what’s there to say about a GHD that hasn’t been said already! Fabulous, fantastic, life-changing, transforming, can’t live without it… do I believe any of it? Maybe… Can I attest to any of it? Unfortunately not no . So, what do I know about a GHD? That a GHD styler comes with all the usual high-quality features you would expect colour, cords and contours, including a sleep mode… is this a life-saver for me? Most definitely if it works, as I sometimes forget to switch off my hair tools and I have a semi mini heart attack when I think about it on my way to work… did I or didn’t I? Ceramic heaters and contoured plates glide through the hair for smoother, snag-free styling. I have used many a “more affordable” styler. Is my hair smoother? Yes, but not considerably so, snag-free? I think I have bald patches that say no. Do I use heat stylers? Most definitely. So, will the GHD Lagoon be able to do all of this for me… well, they say so. Do I have good hair days? I only have them on salon days. Ruffled feathers? That’s the style I rock every day. Do I have a poor self-image for it? Nope, I don’t think so (acceptance is key). I just wake up some mornings to scared to anger the beast. So will the GHD Lagoon be a life changing fairy godmother wand that will transform this ugly duckling into a swan? It’s going to take a bit more than a GHD Lagoon for that. I have my prince charming, and he loves me, ruffle feathers and all. Will it be life changing as reviews claim it will? I don’t know but I will be having less heart attacks on my way to work, so I’ll probably live on average a year longer than I would have without it, (to say the least I’d probably have a few more hairs spared on my head). Do I want one? Who in their right mind wouldn’t want one. Is it fabulous, fantastic? It sure looks it. Is it transforming? If I win it, I hope I can at least have a less ruffled feather rock look. Will I absolutely love it? Undoubtedly. I will drink to that!

I have my GHD for 7 years now and its an old faithful. I love my GHD but its getting old and the plates are getting worn out. I really feel sad as I am not able to afford one right now. It works but not 100%. My hair is thick and course and it takes me 45 minutes to straighten it. The new GHD V Lagoon styler will be the perfect gift for my birthday and I am begging my husband to buy me a new GHD. I could definitely do with a new GHD to make my ruffled feathers look gorgeous again.

The new ghd v lagoon professional styler is the straightener for me. The ceramic heat technology is perfect for all day everyday use. The floating plates lets you fly free while doing your hair without worrying about heat damage, I am confident that my hair will be shinier and healthier after use of the v lagoon professional. Heat damage is probably the biggest concern for me as I have long thick hair. I want, no, need this straightener because with this professional styler the feathers definitely makes the bird.

I have been looking for a styler to tame my unbelievably mischievous kinky hair! Yes I am all for team natural but once in a while, I would like to feel my own hair fluttering in the wind without worrying about it staying in an awkward angle. A little bird told me that GHD has done it again! Just when you think it can't get any better, GHD pulls a dove out of a hat with this decadent and dreamily exotic styler with vibrant hues and graduated colours of tropical turquoise and shimmering blues. This bird of a different feather, is certainly the most beautiful styler I have ever seen and with all the reliable features of the GHD V Gold Classic styler, making it killing two birds with one stone. Not only is the GHD beautiful but its perfect for my thick curly hair. No other straightner brand can work with my hair as good as the GHD. Unfortunately the only time a GHD can do its magic is when I go to a hair salon since I don't own one myself. Hope I can own one soon.

One thing is for certain I love Birds of Paradise. The fact that the GHD Limited Edition Bird of Paradise range is now available, I am in paradise. I've won the battle of fizzy and wild hair thanks to my GHD. It has been my saving grace on numerous occasions from adolescence to adulthood. Six years later and I have no split ends.
