What ruffles my feathers about this GHD is the awesome colours that it comes in, and how you can go from Anne Hathaway in Princess Diaries (Big Bushy messy hair) to looking fab like Heidi Klum in a matter of a few minutes :)

Being a mum of 3 girls with curly hair mine included is like wrestling with my arms tied. What ruffles my feathers is waking up looking like Tina Turner when I would love waking up looking like Blake Lively. The most annoying thing is the sort of frizzy halo that forms when a small percentage of the hairs kind of go in their own direction instead of staying together. You don't know what a bad hair day is if you don't have curly hair, even my dog has better hair days than me. If that's not enough I have to be creative with the girls as my older one does not step a foot out of the house when the hair is not perfect. With this GHD, giving me a glimpse of paradise, I will be able to get my girls looking like super models in no time. To tickle my fancy is that I will be their Heroin forever and me looking like I just stepped out of Vogue magazine. The best part is I won't be late for work anymore. Winning this amazing Styler will be worth more than a well deserved holiday in paradise.

I love it! I love it! I love it! I have long hair, it falls just below my butt. A ghd to me is equivalent to other essentials like air and water. This is an awesome design and has amazing features. I gave this video 5 stars for both the criteria because this hair tool just causes utmost HAPPINESS! The gorgeous ombre design is so in style at the moment and it is exactly what I need to tame my "just got out of bed" head of hair! This is clearly a new favourite from the GHD collection as I have seen many many happy reviews of this and I myself have awed over it in my hairdressing salon. The GHD v Lagoon is one 2 in the Bird of Paradise Collection and true to its name is has vibrant hues and graduated colours of tropical turquoise and shimmering blues, inspired by the latest tropical catwalk trends is a dream to just look at. But apart from that I love that it is environmentally friendly and features a sleep mode for that on-the-move girl who might forget to switch it off after use, but no fear this slick GHD will switch off automatically if not in use after 30min.

Firstly, my naturally curly hair needs straightening, so THIS bird will be in paradise if she wins. Secondly this is my all-time favourite colour (think 90% of my wardrobe). Besides loving the colour of the New GHD the name is fabulous and the fact that it styles with curls and straightens is a plus for me. I currently use the thick plated (older make) GHD which doesn't curl at all and doesn't switch off automatically nor shines. Have to use a serum to enhance shine.

Well firstly this would be a real awesome prize to win as I do not have a GHD and I have been contemplating if I should buy one. As a friend did my hair when we were down as my SA Nationals with her GHD as my cheap hair straightener was not doing the job. My hair looked a like a million dollars I felt more confident going into my tournament with my being done by a GHD and my amazing friend. Then not to forget it would also be an awesome birthday present from me to me and of course from Beauty Bulletin. Upon one of my many shopping trips I came across a very interesting find..Gosh cosmetics.
Now let me start off by saying I am n0t the foundation type girl in way,shape or form-too much effort in picking the correct shade and way too much info on the web about applying the correct way and all the tools needed.
However I found this really amazing BB cream from GOSH.
It glides over smoothly (and if you have dry-ish skin like mine..)nice and moisturising without the oiliness
Oh and as for applying it? I do it with my fingers and it goes on evenly every time. it gives you beautiful coverage ( just like a foundation) and moisturises your skin at the same time.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have even looking skin but is a bit frightened to use foundation.

I would so like to own my very own GHD. I have been saving to buy one for the last two years, but every time somebody else in the family needs the savings money more than I do. So everytime I sacrifice my GHD for a schooltrip, or a new backback or new rugby or cricket gear. I style my hair each and every day, and it would be amazing to finish my styling requirements with a few glides of elegance with a GHD straightner. Ok so i do not own a GHD *hides* which certainly would be a dream come true. I have medium length course hair which requires relaxing and straightening for days. The only time i have a chance to ruffle my feathers is a trip to the salon which only happens every 8 weeks (we know why). i love love styling my hair with curls, extensions and color but because its so fragile and requires extra heat i dont do it as often as i would like. winning this GHD limited edition bird of paradise would certainly change my bird mood from a Goliath Cockatoo to a Bali bird of paradise. How do I even begin to describe my obsession with my hair looking good!!! I live for my hair continuously looking sleek and smooth.I have other straighteners because alas my pocket can't afford a GHD at this stage of my life…But I keep hoping and praying maybe one day when I am BIG I can have the ferrari of hair straighteners….I weight in anticipation between hair dresser appointments for the GHD to grace my tresses so I can once gain have the smooth luscious locks I so desire…Sorry :) me getting carried away again back to my little moment as I was saying I have other straighteners but none quite do the job as well as a GHD the plates break and pull my hair and also tend to damage the hair as you have to keep on ironing over and over the same piece of hair to get it slightly smooth then it still doesn't quite look the same…I don't even have thick bushy hair I have quite easy hair apart from the head band of frizz that is so bad I get a Brazilian blow wave on my hair line to tame my "homies" as my hair dresser likes to call them those frizzy fine hairs around the hair line that tend to make me look like I stuck my finger in a plug…. So I think I have some what made my point how much I NEEEEEEEEED to have that beautiful straightener to tame my plumage and ruffle all the right feathers with a hot slick hair do that will have all the other birds singing sweet songs for me…:D xoxoxo

I always had short hair & decided to grow my hair long. It took me 3 years to grow my hair. A year ago I bought a cheapie Hair straightener as I could not afford the GHD and convinced myself that they are all the same and boy was I so so very wrong! Every time I saw someone with beautiful long straight hair, I would ask them what they used to get their hair so straight and still have their hair look so healthy and same answer always - GHD! All my friends have one, the hair salons use them and with my cheapie that I bought, my hair still looks frizzy & unhealthy and partly straight in some places. Not only is the GHD sexy looking and every girls dream Hair Straightener but also the fact that your hair still looks healthy, shiny and looks like you stepped out of a salon. Even for someone like me that is still battling to use my cheapie one that does nothing for my hair but looks like I took my iron and laid my hair on an ironing board and tried so hard for hours to try to get that perfect straight hair, even after all this I regret not ever saving and buying a GHD. If its not GHD then really don't bother buying one and take this from someone that has the experience of not listening to her inner voice saying save for the GHD. I have researched and compared and still nothing beats or tops GHD. And not only to see some uploads on Youtube of what all this amazing gadget for your hair can do from straightening to even adding a few curls too...GHD is definitely by far the best on the market and I am very sure that GHD will be around for many years...what can you not love about it anyway!

It was a black in colour and was the best investment I've made in my life. It's the colour of the Bird Of Paradise Collection that ruffles my feathers. It's extremely attractive looking. Ok heres me putting this across simple. I NEED THAT GHD!!!! lol not forgetting my manners by adding PLEASE :). Ive always wanted one of my own, but working to pay for studies have made that dream impossible. I have uncontrollable frizzy hair and i believe this GHD will be the answer to my bad hairday prayers. I Hve used GHD before, my daughter and I both have naturally curly hair, and when we used a GHD straightner, our styles lasted for 3 days, and that is with moist wheather as well. I just love GHD it is the BEST invention ever. And the color of the new range is too die for.
To top it all off, the genius in the GHD Lagoon V Birds of Paradise styler, is it's rounded body, this help us to create soft gentle curls, or bouncy defined spirals that last up to 6* days (this I tested with a GHD and the curls lasted, without mousse or styling spray, just the GHD heat protect spray, the curls only went away after I washed my hair!
I can actually do so much with the straightner and I just love the fact that it does not damage your hair as badly as other straightners, it smoothes out the hair, and does not damamge the cuticle. GHD Just rules!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally could not understand how would any girl survive without this ravishing product !I have tried and owned many other brands of hair straightners but nothing comes close to this amazing product and trust me Thats a fact !!! Shew Laurie that is definitely an absogorgeous GHD Styler, I can see why you are Jealous, the stunning colour alone lets you know you are going to look GLAMOROUS after using it on your hair because your hair will shine just as bright as the new styler, and even better is that even if we don't win, we can still buy the GHD Styler online for only R2280.00 and should the Lagoon not be the colour you like with its stunning gradient from Tropical Turquoise to Shimmering Blue, we can even buy the Limited Edition Bird of Paradise Sunset Styler for the same price and with the stunning hues of Sundowners to Purple Dusk and for all of those Beauties who just Love Purple, then this Styler is the way to go for you. Both Stylers are absolutely gorgeous and definitely tickles our fancies and my hands are just itching to get a hold of one and start getting my frizz under control as I am one Bird who likes to have her plumes in order and not have her feathers looking ruffled.
