I love Garnier products, all my face products are from Garnier and recently I picked up the Garnier Micellar Water and am in love! at first i was using the Garnier facial wipes (name slipped my mind but in a white and blue packaging) and I like it but it started leaving my face feel very tingly and burned slightly, and then afterwards felt like i had dunked my face in too much moisturiser so I switched over to the Micellar Water and wow what a difference! no tingling, no burning, hardly any feeling left on my face other than fresh and like all my makeup has been removed.
I would repurchase this product. and recommend it to anyone!

I've only recently started using micellar cleansing water and I'm satisfied with the results of the Garnier range. I'm very lazy when it comes to removing my make-up so having a product that cleans my face effortlessly after a long day, is a plus in my books!! Also, my skin feels great after cleaning it with Garnier Micellar water.

Garnier has made such an incredible product here. It is quick and easy yet so highly effective that there can be no denying that this product is a best seller! The cleansing water makes for a easy routine, especially for women who are constantly on the go. No matter what you do, this product caters for it. It has an effect of leaving you feeling fresh and not that your skin has dried out. I also like the fact that Garnier has produced this product in a travel size container for those always on the go.

This product is great, especially if you are on the go and a make-up artist like myself. It is very convenient as you do not need to rinse it off. It leaves your clean and refreshed without the dryness/ tightness one would expect from a "waterless" cleanser.

Garnier has really outdone themselves with the Micellar water, it really works and the price point is easy on the pocket. At first it was weird using it without having to rinse it off my face but once I got used to it I never went to bed with make-up on even on those days I was dead tired. It leaves your skin fresh, no tightness at all and best of all it removes even that liquid lipstick that wont badge!!!
This product is really made to save time and for those on the go and those who cant access washing facilities....

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is the best product i have ever tried. At first i did not understand what the hype was about it. Since giving it a try i seriously cant live without it.It is so gentle on the skin but it so effective. I use it for cleansing my skin and removing my makeup. I even use it sometimes to clean my makeup brushes . I love that it refreshes my skin and my skin does not get irritated and neither does it leave a sticky residue when i use it on my skin.It is definitely a product that every lady should have .

I'll be honest with you, for someone who considers herself to be a beauty blogger, I wear very little makeup. When I do though, the Micellar cleansing water is honestly the best way to clean off makeup. I bought a bottle when it came out, and it's lasted me up until now. It's gentle on the skin, and doesn't leave a residue behind.

I've been using the micellar cleansing water for about 2 weeks now (night and day) it's astonishing how it effortlessly removes impurities of your skin. The cotton pad is proof enough . It leaves my skin feeling purified and weightless . It's effective from day one . The best part is you don't have to rinse your face afterwards or even add any night cream if you were to lazy . You guys have got to try it to believe it ? I wish I found it sooner

This product is everything!!! Honestly I've always been struggling to remove make up. I have dry and sensitive skin but once I started using the micellar water to remove my make up, my skin hasn't felt better. The hypoallergenic cleanser does not burn your face at all and a little goes a long way. It removes most of my make up. Although sometimes I find it doesn't remove my waterproof mascara. Other than that it is a great and affordable product. It is pleasant smelling and does the job it needs to.

I was on the look out for a cost effective make up removing liquid and came across the Garnier Micellar water, I first took the travel size so that I could decide whether I should go big or go home. My thoughts: WOW!!!! I love it.
It works like a bomb and its super affordable.
I have sensitive skin so I took the pink bottle which did not contain any perfume. the travel size lasted me for a whole month and then some, well into the next month. This product has now become my holy grail and as soon as my travel size was finished I got my hands on the bigger bottle.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this product, which I had first heard about from my best friend. "It looks like it's just water", I thought as I looked at the bottle. The bottle I liked. It was pretty and I liked that it wasn't very busy but a carefully chosen clear bottle except for the essential information.
Then I used it and I was instantly impressed. It removed the most stubborn mascara and eye pencil that I had always struggled to remove, effortlessly and best of all, it did not burn my eyes at all. It is scentless (just like water!), and did not burn my skin. It is gentle and not a lot is needed. I think it is definitely a must-have for every woman.

What I’m basically saying here is that before I tried the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, I was not aware that the facial wipes that I was using to cleanse and refresh my face were actually harsh on my skin. That was until I tried Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water.
The gentle and hydrating cleansing water leaves my face feeling refreshed and clean, while I can clearly see all the day’s accumulated dirt that comes off when I check the used cotton pad(s).
I don’t wear a lot of make-up, but I understand the importance of cleansing my skin twice a day. On those lazy days when I don’t feel like doing the whole 3 step nightly routine, I cleanse with Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water and apply a repairing overnight oil. I know and believe that in order for any moisturiser or serum to be effective, one needs to apply it to a freshly cleansed surface so the quick and efficiently cleansing Micellar Water comes in very handy. My waterproof eye makeup comes off easily without my eyes or skin getting irritated.
I also use it before I work out because I like to sweat with a fresh face. It is quick to use and I don’t need to rinse it off afterwards. I know that they have wipes available, but I really don’t mind keeping a bottle at home and in my gym bag.

After one use I knew this would become a staple product for me. I have had the worst luck with makeup remover: they were either too harsh and made my skin burn, or they just didn't work. After finding no success with yet another product (The Body Shop Chamomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover which I got on a trip to the US), I just gave up.
I use eye make up every day, and it can be a bit of a mission to remove if you don't have the right product. I've been using Vaseline to remove my eye makeup, which is extremely effective but obviously not very good for your pores given the oily, jelly-like formula of the product. I gave into the hype about the Micellar Cleansing Water, despite my poor track record with makeup removers, and I am SO happy I did. It is exceedingly gentle on my skin -- no burning or stinging sensation -- because it is water-based. A few drops on a cotton pad is literally all it takes to remove the makeup from my eyes, and I will usually use another to remove the makeup from my face.
Although it is a cleanser (as well as a makeup remover), and there is no need to rinse your face after using it, I always cleanse my face with my face cleanser and water -- out of habit, I suppose. I wouldn't recommend you use this to replace your cleanser, though, as you should be maintaining a regular skincare routine. The cleansing component of this product is great for those late night outs when you're simply too tired to do the whole routine before bed!

I purchased this product at dis chem on sale . I was thrilled that the product came in a really big bottle . 400ml to be precise . I love quality products but always look for quantity as well :) . I noticed there were 2 types in the store , a pink capped cleanser for sensitive skin and a light blue color for combination to oily skin and this can also be used for sensitive skin .

This is my product of the year! I love it!! It is so effective at removing make-up especially the eye make-up - mascara, eyeliner etc... so refreshing and leaves my skin feeling CLEAN. I even use it on my 2 little ones who love getting their faces painted. I used to dread it because it is such a mission to remove afterwards but not with this amazing product. The directions are that you should simply apply Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to a cotton pad and wipe across your skin for gentle and efficient cleansing > no scrubbing / rubbing mind you, are enough to make me jump and break into song!
I was very much eager when it hit South Africa as the rants really got to me. At that time, I had to go from one Clicks shop to another as it was still not wide spread. When I finally found it, I was so excited that I bought it as a gift for a friend who loves makeup but has extremely sensitive skin.
I then also bought myself a lot of cotton as I thought with all the makeup on my face, I am going to really need cotton upon cotton. To my very surprise, I removed a full face of makeup using only 2 facial pads > that included all the mascara my eyes had to bear. That goes for eye makeup, blush and lipstick too!

Now what about my usually dry skin? I was left with no dryness and no reaction at all. The moisture left on my skin felt as if I immediately moisturized after use. Well I still get that sticky feeling to date (I been using it close to 2 months now), but the feeling thereof goes away within minutes.

I had to learn over time though, NOT to rub or scrub when using it. It is gentle and it does most work for you without much laboring. I have converted my dear hubby, he now has his own bottle (no he does not use makeup) and loves using it to cleanse his face thoroughly especially when he imitates my pamper sessions.
Use it for a refreshed feeling whether in the morning or night, or even once a day. Harsh makeup removers and lingering skin impurities, are a thing of yesterday from now on.

This has got to be one of the most hyped about products ever! Garnier recently launched it to the South African market and oh boy how thrilled I am about that! I picked mine up for only R80 at Clicks which in my opinion is quite a steal.
The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water comes in a big 400ml bottle which equivalates to about 200 uses. It’s suitable for sensitive skin… It also removes makeup, cleanses and soothes skin without having to rinse it off. I love the fact that I can remove my makeup while cleansing my face – this saves me so much time and money instead of using two products.
I have been using the Nivea makeup remover for sometime now and ever since I bought it – I have been reaching for the Garnier cleansing water a alot . It does remove my makeup easily,especially that stubborn mascara and lipstick which can be really difficult to remove. Basically, Micellar water contains tiny micelles which attract the dirt or makeup on your face and dissolves it into its micro fatty-bubble. Garnier describes the micellar water as, Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water contains micelles which act like magnets, gently lifting away makeup and impurities from the skin, without the need to rub or rinse." You can clean your face with just a swipe of your cotton swab!
The different bottles are made to suit your skin type. If you have dehydrated dry skin then the pink bottle is for you. If you have oily or combination skin then the blue bottle is designed for you. If you have sensitive skin then the pink bottle will be your magic tool because it contains no parabens; alcohol and fragrances.
Personally, I enjoy using it on a cotton swab. I use it after I use my eye-makeup remover. I then follow with my daily facial cleanser, If I feel like there still might be makeup on my face then I use the Micellar water again before using my toner, The Micellar water is safe enough to use all over your face, neck, lip and eye area.
What I love about this product is the packaging, It is a transparent bottle with a cute design on the label. It comes in a 400ml bottle which is quite big considering it is a drugstore product. Each bottle is supposed to allow for 200 uses. I use quite a generous about each time so I'm not sure if I will reach 200. I feel like my makeup removes to effortlessly with the micellar water compared to other makeup removers I have tried in the past, especially bold lip colors and waterproof products.
Final Verdict:
I LOVE this product! There's no hassle when using it and the fact that you get so much for your money is an added bonus. I know that this product will last me a long time. The fact that it contains no alcohol'parabens has really helped my sensitive skin because I haven't had any reactions. I've also noticed a decrease in the number of breakouts that I've had because I finally found a product that removes every trace of makeup off my face.
The different bottles are made to suit your skin type. If you have dehydrated dry skin then the pink bottle is for you. If you have oily or combination skin then the blue bottle is designed for you. If you have sensitive skin then the pink bottle will be your magic tool because it contains no parabens; alcohol and fragrances.
Personally, I enjoy using it on a cotton swab. I use it after I use my eye-makeup remover. I then follow with my daily facial cleanser, If I feel like there still might be makeup on my face then I use the Micellar water again before using my toner, The Micellar water is safe enough to use all over your face, neck, lip and eye area.
What I love about this product is the packaging, It is a transparent bottle with a cute design on the label. It comes in a 400ml bottle which is quite big considering it is a drugstore product. Each bottle is supposed to allow for 200 uses. I use quite a generous about each time so I'm not sure if I will reach 200. I feel like my makeup removes to effortlessly with the micellar water compared to other makeup removers I have tried in the past, especially bold lip colors and waterproof products.

I LOVE this product! There's no hassle when using it and the fact that you get so much for your money is an added bonus. I know that this product will last me a long time. The fact that it contains no alcohol'parabens has really helped my sensitive skin because I haven't had any reactions. I have used a few products from wipes to oil based make up removers and I have never found a product so gentle and great on my skin. It's light weight formula is great on my skin and leaves me feeling fresh and clean without the extra hassle of having to wash my face after removing my make up. I love this product. I'm a makeup artist so I use wet wipes a lot. I find that you spend so much money on wipes and it sometimes irritates the skin. I decided to buy this product and I was so impressed. It took a few seconds to remove my makeup. I just used some on a cotton pad and viola. The bottle is huge so it's gonna last me a long time. Definitely worth trying.

I must admit I wasn't at all buying into the claims of this product but I'm glad I was proven wrong this time. I got myself this over the weekend , proceeded to remove my make up with it with some cotton balls and was elated at the fact that I did not have to rub to get the make up of!! It just glided off onto the cotton balls . I used it under my eyes as well because it's water based and at first I wasn't comfortable doing that because I have a very sensitive under eye but glad to report that it left my under eye skin feeling soothed and refreshed, not to mention cleansed!
A couple of cotton balls later ,not a trace of make up was left behind and I was staring at squeaky clean skin in the mirror . After use it doesn't leave any residue behind which is a bonus .
This is really great value for money because it's affordable and going to Last you a while ,plus it a pretty fantastic cleanser!

This Miscellar water has been hyped and hyped and I'm so glad I bought it. It has been compared to the Bioderma water.
The Garnier water states that it has up to 200 uses and I definitely believe that. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it has hardly made a dent in the bottle even though I feel like I squirt out so much (by mistake)!

And so Garnier South Africa has launched the New Pure Active Micellar cleansing water and I love a new a product release. The cleansing water is for Combination to oily and sensitive skin types which is always great which broadens the product to other skin types so I had to give this one a try.
I haven't always been a user of cleansers I preferred to use cleansing wipes but bonus for me the Pure active comes in wipes to. But I will say the Garnier pure active has totally changed my mind about cleansers. I really like this product a lot I loved the fact that is was for lips, face and eyes which a lot of wipes and other cleanses only have one function to remove one or the other. The Pure Active range has a few other 3 in 1 products which to me is amazing and space saving and so helpful.

Application and Usage I used cotton pads personal preference they are much more easier to use when removing eye make-up. Like is it called Cleansing water it really has the look and feel of water. I did like that it helps with spilling or using to much of the product. Results it removed my make-up and left my skin feeling light, fresh and cleansed really no rinsing needed.
Overall I will buy it again a great product to have and its a 2in1 it Cleanses and Purifies which gets a thumbs up from me and to add I didn't get any skin reactions at all because my eye area can be really sensitive. Its a big bottle 400ml equaling to to 200 uses but that depends on you, plus its a steal at R80 a bottle.

he first day I tried the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, it was around 8pm meaning I had a full day of makeup, lipstick and eyeshadow. I took my rolled cotton wool sheets and dapped some product on it. At first I thought this mineral water was going to dry my skin out (but then again what would I have to lose from trying?). I gently started to remove everything from my face and “wow”, the cotton wool simply glided on my face. Let me say, I had never seen so much makeup on cotton wool before (guilt struck). I went in again with another sheet and more came off. On the third swipe there was hardly any evidence of makeup ever being on my face.
I had purchased the one in the Pink bottle which is for all skin types and also can be used for sensitive skin.If you have a different skin type, then don’t you worry. The Micellar water in the blue bottle is for combination to oily and sensitive skin. So we’re all covered.
Due to the fact that I have sensitive skin I waited around 10 minutes, just waiting for the itch to start and NOTHING. My skin showed no reaction and was left feeling moisturised and clean. Since the bottle read that I didn’t need to rinse, wild guess – I didn’t.
The following few days I kept using the product and I must say I’m truly happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it. It does exactly what it promises and also reduces the hassle of having to go through those tedious night time routines of removing makeup (a blessing). The Micellar water can also be used in the morning to refresh your skin and evenings as a makeup remover.

Ever since I discovered the amazingness of Bioderma micellar water, I've been an addict. I cannot live without one. I have to buy a new one BEFORE mine runs out, because that would be a catastrophe. (drama queen of note, I know)
However, the Bioderma one is almost R200 for 250ml, which is rather pricey, and I do use this every single day, twice a day. I heard whispers that the Garnier 'dupe' for it was heading our way, and I scoured Clicks and Dischem searching. And then one day I came across it at Clicks - R79.95 for 400ML!!!!!!!!
Now my skin is pretty sensitive, so I was a little nervous using a Garnier product, as I've had issues with them in the past, so I chose the pink bottle (suitable for even sensitive skin) and bought it.
I have to be 100% completely honest - I actually PREFER this to Bioderma! I find it more soothing on my skin, even if I rub a bit, it doesn't leave my skin red, and it takes off EVERYTHING, even waterproof makeup! This now has a permanent position on my bathroom shelf, and I have chucked my Bioderma in one of my bedroom drawers! It's THAT good.
I use this in the evening to remove all of my makeup, before going in with a cleanser, and honestly, my skin has improved so much since using micellar waters, it's crazy. If I have a particularly late night and am exhausted, I just use this on a couple of cotton rounds, and voila, I'm done!

This product was totally new to me. I have always used wipes to remove makeup or just simply cleanse my face. I found that using wipes did not guarantee 100% removal of makeup. So I would still have to wash my face after wiping most of the product off. So I had to test it out.

I wear waterproof formulations and makeup removal makes me look teary eyed and panda like.
This is gentle ;non irritating and clearly lifts makeup.i used 2cotton rounds on both sides but my toner round came up almost clean.made me wonder how effectively i was cleansing before.
