I would firstly like to say Thank you for choosing to try out the Tampax Compak I have been able to take up new activities thanks to my new found freedom with Tampax I used to have had times during the time of the month and Tampax came to my rescue. My friends organised an adventurous experience for us quad biking, bungee jumping, hiking, paint balling etc. and I was not sure if I could go or not because I was my periods.
Receiving Tampax Compak rescued me from misery and the candy like packaging was screaming try me and you will never be disappointed. I tried it and ohhh my word it was comfortable easy to insert, painless and soft. I was able to do all the adventurous activities without stress thank you so much Tampax Compak.
The plastic applicator is so soft, painless and hygienic. It has definitely revolutionized the way I use tampons I would definitely continue to use Tampax Compak tampons and suggest it to my friends and family. Thank you so much BB for making my life easy.

Its that time of the month again... I guess we all don't really look forward to the red robot however I always prepare myself for the worst. Like having my toiletry bag packed with all the necessary and Thanks to Beauty Bulletin I tried and tested the Tampax Compak Tampons :)
The packaging was so cute when it arrived and as I opened up the pack there were two boxes, one green and the other yellow with flowers hmmmm! These tampons are very easy to use as the pack comes along with guide lines. The applicator makes the insertion so much easier as it simply glides in with a little push. The tampon will then be pushed out of the mold of the applicator which means its less messy and when its comfortably inserted all you have to do is remove the applicator :) and you done. SIMPLE and CLEAN !!
Its small enough to fit in your purse or bag and great for travelling. It fits well and I feel confident wearing the Tampon when Im out and about. Will recommend this to all ages :)

I was so happy to be selected to be one of the reviewers for this product...yay for me free tampons for atleast the next to months.
I thought the tampons were nicely wrapped but perhaps the colours would appeal more to teenagers though. Then I patiently waited for the arrival of aunty-flow.
When my period started I was surprisingly happy as it was time to try something new. And so I did...nice soft tip, smoother glide but that was it. The actual tampons are for me underwhelming, the next few times I struggled to insert then and I find having to twist them for better insertion quiet redundant.
I believe there is much room for improvement and consequently I'm not motivated to change my current brand of tampon.
I thought the tampons were nicely wrapped but perhaps the colours would appeal more to teenagers though. Then I patiently waited for the arrival of aunty-flow.

I travel to see my other half once a month! What a pleasure to not have awkward looking wrappers in my bag and not having to worry about where to pack Tampax. It fits in everywhere :)
I found the Tampax tampons to be efficient and effective in providing me with less things to worry about during that time of the month. I could do all the tourist things in CT, without having to worry about the dreaded time of the month.
I will definitely recommend it to other girls!

I was introduced to tampons after a very long time as after having children everything changes. I found the packaging colourful and bright. The individual tampons and applicators where something new to me as I never used tampons with applicators before.
I found the Tampax tampons to be efficient and effective in providing me with less things to worry about during that time of the month. I even wore a white dress whilst experiencing my monthlys and was not afraid of having to find a red spot after sitting anywhere.
This is a great product and price wise it is very much in Line with other products that are similar. But one downfall that I think should be mentioned is that a box with a mix of Absorbent strengths should be sold as not always only one strength is used during the duration of a menstrual cycle and therefore having to buy different Absorbent strengths of Tampax tampons for the month will not be cost effective.
So with this in mind the usual market of average earning woman from age 16-26 won't be able afford two to three boxes for variety of absorbent strengths every month.
But over all, the product is great and provides value for money spent. it provided myself with great confidence once again, In wearing figure hugging or white clothes . Will recommend it to others.

Not taking anything away from my go brand Lil-lets, I was glad I was given Tampex Compak to try out.
Firstly the wrapping is not a give away as to what is inside. It looks like a sweet wrapper for goodness sake meaning no more awkward moments, unless someone asks for a sweet lol.
The product on its own is real easy to use and is very comfortable and you don't feel it once it's inserted. I never used applicators before that was a first for me and i genuinely don't mind it.
I will definitely be using it again, thanx to BB for introducing me to it.

Tampax Compak really saved me from having to feel uncomfortable on an extremely important day....the day of my best friend's wedding. I love the fact that the individual packaging looks like a sweet wrapper, so one never has to feel awkward.
The feel and fit was something I was quite surprised by as I honestly never felt it, nor did I have any leak throughout my time of the month.
I'm not a "tampon girl", however, I'd highly recommend it to those who prefer sanitary towels but get a unwelcoming surprise right before a special occasion - whether it be a wedding, going clubbing, or a romantic date where you want to wear that super sexy, special dress.
This is when I'll definitely opt to use Tampax...

As a loyal Lil-Lets user, I was quit intrigued to try Tampax for he first time! When I got my courier package, I could not wait to try out these babies! The packaging was a refreshing departure from what we girls are used to, when it comes to feminine hygiene products! Away, with the obvious, I -know-what -you -have -there old-school white tampon wrapper and hallo, bright, happy , fun and strangely more discrete packaging!
The wrapping looks like a sweet wrapper, and the only hint that it is something else is the R or S printed on for the size, and even then you wouldn't think that it was a tampon!
The product itself was easy to use, comfortable and effective! It was really great to try a new product and be satisfied with it on so many levels.So much so, that I consider foregoing on my trusted Lil-Lets to use Tampax instead!

My experience was super! It was easy and very comfortable....had absolutely no hassles whatsoever . will definitely be purchasing on a monthly bases....Tampax Kompak took great care of me....although i always opt to wear a sanitary pad for that extra protection against accidents....with tampax kompak there was no need at all!

So i had my time of the month last week and i must say Tampax Compak took a very good care of me.
The plastic applicator is so soft, i did not feel a thing , easy to insert and to withdraw and discard. Life is just made easy for women at large, come to think of it .
I received a box at 1st to review of which i did thereafter i entered a competition & i won a years' supply. I must say that i am covered & protected for months!

I used Tampax applicator tampons regurally before but i had to change because i was just not happy with the overal product-unfortunately, i dont have a great review and i doubt i will be going back to Tampax.
i must admit- i love the new packaging- i think tampax has really come-up with a great innovation with regards to the compack pack- it is so easy to carry around and just in case a tampon falls on the ground in public- the cool packaging saves any girl the embarrassment- because it looks like a sweet or any delicious candy-'if they only knew what it really is, lol'.
Honestly, i am not happy about the design of the actual tampon, i feel it does not 'fill' as other tampons such a Lillets does, once it opens or absorbs the liquid, it becomes flatish and spreads. if you look at the design of the lillet- it is rounded and as it absorbs, it fills up growing in width of the circle offering better protection.
Also i dont like the feeling of the Tampax tampon, it just feels of low quality- after all the effort that goes into the packaging- i think Tampax should rather focus on the actual tampon quality. i cant help but compare to the Lillets, i just feel the Tampax is sub-grade- it is not a well rounded and finished product as Lil'lets or Kotex.

I've actually never tried applicators before and have always been sceptical of it. Not anymore though! The Tampax Compak is just so easy to use! I received a multipack from Beauty Bulletin and I simply love this idea as well because I've always had to buy 2 boxes for different flows before but not anymore!

Lets start from the beginning...
The first thing I noticed (I've NEVER used applicator tampons before so everything was a first) was the size of the box compared to my normal brand of non applicator tampons...hmmm... let's wait for AF.
Ok AF is here- open the box, grab one + instructions and off to the toilet I go (at work:/)
Read the instructions- easy, clear and gives me an exact idea of what to do.
1...2...3... DONE. It was love at first AF!
I could not feel it (some brands of tampons hurt me especially on the first day), process was super easy and much more hygienic (and here I thought my "normal" tampons were hygienic) than regular non applicator tampons with regards to insertion.
The plastic applicator is a bit of a nuisance to throw away, but that's the problem with all applicator tampons. Just put a "tear here" thingy in the packet- would be much easier to open.
The normal was great on the first day and the super was a bit too super for me- even at my heaviest so I will stick to regular.
I will definitely be purchasing tampax compak and even other tampons from the tampax range- I just love it. Now I know what all the hype is about!
My hiding spot for my tampon is my make up bag- I always have it with me :)

Having tried a tampon three years ago and being totally put off the uncomfortable nature of them, I was a bit apprehensive when I received my Tampak box. Like always, I read the pamphlet from cover to cover in the hope of gaining confidence, and when I opened to look at the packaging I was quite pleased to see how pretty they were individually wrapped. Pretty in pink.
After some experimenting with my gift, I have a new outlook and a changed perception of tampons. Tampak have managed to create a product that is user friendly, so to speak, lol. I felt confident and fresh with my new found gift. Faith in tampons restored :-) I no longer dread "that time of the month" where i have to carry around old fashioned pads. I have a cute little pink wrapper that can easily be hidden in my bag, purse or pocket.

First of all, thank you SO much BB for allowing me to review this product - Tampak Compak (Regular and Super mixed pack). As always, I am SO grateful to get new products to try and test :)
For over 10 years I've been using Lil-lets tampons, without the applicator. But I was very excited to try something new. However, I will always be 100% honest in my reviews and I have to admit that I am not a fan of these tampons. As with everything though, there are pros and cons.
Pros:
- The packaging is pretty, discreet and I really liked the colours!
- I love what the applicator is made of, it had a nice feel to it and looked appealing too (for what it is ;) )
- Ease of use (they were very easy to use and insert).
Cons:
- When I pulled it out, it was very long and "stringy". It had completely lost it's shape and looked quite frightening (I managed to find a picture which depicted this - see attached).
- It didn't absorb as much as my current tampon does.
It's because of the cons that I won't be buying these after I've used up this pack. I truly don't believe that they are more effective (or even equal to) my current brand.
In conclusion: Tampak, you got it right with the packaging and applicator, but you need to work on your actual tampon quality before you win me over ;)

Being a new tampon user, my first time was a bit scary. Though I struggled opening the package covering the tampon, the packaging was very vibrant & summer(y). Insertion was made easier by the soft plastic cover of the applicator. The tampon itself was rather comfortable to use & I loved the fact that it has such a short string. I also love that it comes in a variety for light to strong flow. I will definitely recommend it to my girlfriends. Thank you BB & Tampax Compak.

These Tampax tampons are lovely!
I received two boxes to test - normal and super. I loved the applicator - it was smooth and super easy to use. The wrappers are also great - I don't really care if someone sees a tampon in my bag, but many women feel awkward about that, and these wrappers avoid those awkward moments. It was also nice that you can get the wrapper off easily. With Lil-lets I sometimes struggle to unwrap the tampons.

I recieved my pack a week before i was to have my periods. Yesterday as i went in for an operation i had no reason to panick for i knew my compact will be there. No mess no fuss. Easy to use and easy to carry anytime, anywhere. I love the short applicator which is smooth for insertion and no mess like using a tampon without an applicator. The pricing is also good. Ladies who didnt get the opportunity to get a free pack, run to your neares store to get them i highly recommend this brand

I would recommend this to all my friends and family and anyone out there looking to find a product that is comfortable, easy to use and ever so discreet. The string was not too long, and the no leak skirt is great . The packaging is lovely and seals the deal!

I have used many tampons in the past and never really found one that i was comfortable with, i always felt it no matter how i inserted it, but finally i have found a brand that fits nicely and i don't even know is there. I would recommend this to all my friends and family and anyone out there looking to find a product that is comfortable.
I don't need to constantly check to see if i leaked and can just concentrate on the other tasks in my life.

I loved it, its so discreet and effective. I loved the packaging it's so colourful and it looks like a sweet. It's so high on absorbency and made be be able to go to the beach and have fun with my husband and my boys. Thank you Tampax for such a great product.

Tampax Compak definitely takes the stress out of that time of the month for me!I don't have to worry about doing and going to the places I love to go,because it honestly gives great long lasting protection and comfort!

What I also love is the built in protection skirt,thankfully I never have to worry about any leakage. The removal is pretty easy and painless as well.
So would I continue to use Tampax Compak tampons? Absolutely!!! And I definitely recommend it because with Tampax Compak,your period is never a drab!!!

I really love the new Tampax, the fact that its so small and versatile is perfect to just throw in your handbag without having to worry about it falling out and people thinking you have a vibrator in there lol. The plastic applicator is so much better that the old cardboard applicator. I love the fact that it won't bend or warp and that you can use the same wrapper to dispense the applicator in. Thank you Tampax for a wonderful new product.

Wow, this is too great, it is so small it can fit anywhere you could ever imagine be it a bag, pencil case or even new sanitary pads cases. it fits in the palm of my hand as well. still wrapped in a nice colour wrap as if it were candy.

I enjoyed using the new Tampax compak. I like how easy it to hide in your purse and that I don't have to feel uncomfortable if someone saw them.

Thank you Beauty Bulletin for my first experience of applicator tampon . I have got to say that it was pretty easy task ,even though I was a bit nervous . The plastic covering of the applicator was so soft that it made insertion so natural that I did not even know or feel the applicator in me until I looked ;-) Thank you Tampax for making my first experience of an applicator is great and enjoyable one . I love the length of the tampon string since it was short , there was no string being exposed when I wore a bikinis during the Valentine’s weekend nor did I need to trim the string to hide it when wearing a bikinis . I was really comfortable of the snug fit that I was no longer was paranoid looking behind me every second . Tampax is now the new God sent solution to our excitement and enjoyment during our that time of the month .That is indeed how I felt and was kind of sad when my period ended for the month . But then I ecstatic about next month .

being a regular tampon user since 3 years ago, i found the actual tampon fairly average in quality. when pulling it out and getting ready for insertion, i noticed that the fabric came a bit loose at the bottom where the string hangs out from. also, i struggled quite a bit to get the package and the individual wrappers open where normally one just has to twist or pull a string to unwrap.
i do however LOVE the plastic applicator. having tried the paper ones previously, it was quite uncomfortable inserting it and the claw-like point was quite scratchy on insertion but the this plastic applicator was so comfortable. i barely felt like i was using an applicator.
would definitely purchase this if they improve the quality of the actual tampon.

So, I have never in my life tried applicator tampons, so receiving the Tampax Compak was a little nerve wrecking. I had an idea of how to use applicator tampons but I read through the instructions just in case.
All I can say is WOW! I didn't even know I was using an applicator. It was so simple and easy to use, I wasn't even scared to use it a second time.
The tampon itself is so soft and comfortable, you don't even feel that discomfort of when you're nearing the end of your period.
I'm one of those girls who was never able to sleep through the entire night with only a tampon on, other wise it'd leak. Not with Tampax Compak. I woke up ans I was totally dry and completely satisfied with the quality I was getting.
I am very impressed!

To be honest.... I love the idea of the Tampax Compak and I LOVE the applicator as it is soft, however, I don't the actual tampon itself.
It does not insert deep enough and I had to either take it out and put it a new one or manually push it in. The tampon itself is also not as soft as the normal l (i.e. non applicator) tampons I have been using, so the pulling it out part was a bit unpleasant for me. It just does not feel at all like a non applicator tampon. It almost gave me the feeling that it was longer as well and did not absorb as much. Mostly though, the main problem for me was that it does not go in deep enough - which defeats the whole purpose of having an applicator.
I love the idea of the cute wrapper and the soft plastic, however, I don't think I will be purchasing this in the future unless they change feel and adjust the applicator.

Thus is my Month 2 review. Í must say, thus time around I felt the smooooooooothness of the applicator.

The first two I tried were disastrous.... I didn’t read the instructions as I was I a hurry and thought to myself... I am a smart girl... how hard can it be...

So this month I tried them again and decided that they are not bad at all.
The tampon itself is not as rigid as non applicator ones which allows it to absorb from the moment its inserted. This is good for heavy flow!
The wrapper is hygienic, colourful & cute, love it! Wont say it looks like a candy but it certainly doesn’t necessarily scream "look at me, I'm a tampon"

This was launched a years ago in South Africa. Not long after that, they disappeared and I've been hunting for them ever since. I was thrilled when I received a box to try out!
These tampons are so convenient to throw in your bag for just in case, and because the applicator is plastic, they're less likely to get damaged than the cardboard kind.
My favourite aspect of these is that they're almost frictionless. They always insert smoothly... which is a definite plus for those days when your flow is less continuous.
The only down side is that they're slightly more expensive than other cardboard applicator tampons, however they make up for the cost. Unless something better and more innovative comes onto the market, these are the tampons that I will continue buying.

I received the pack and loved the packaging and the colors.
Prior to my move I used to use the lil-lets tampons and I thought they were a life saver and little did I know what is in stall for me….
I was lucky to receive the regular pack and the super flow pack…I used the super pack I must say they not for me.
The regular is my right fit….
I feel in love with tampaks instantly I love the applicator ?
The pad itself doesn’t feel bushy and dry instead its soft and you even forget its there ? one of the advantages…..I can get on with my life and not worry about that time of the month.
The only input I can add is that they need to include some instructions because I had to throw away 2 tampons as I was not sure how to use the application.

I was fortunate enough to be selected as one of the lucky few to try out the new Tampax Compak. Firstly the packaging with it different color variations and with it vibrant colors caught my eye, The product is individually wrapped so you know that its 100% safe and hygenic. Yes that's exactly how I felt when I tried to apply the Tampax compax tampons, Mission: apply tampon. All that was missing was a laboratory coat and a suitcase, Lol! Well that's how I felt when reading the instructions and doing the practical side of things. I was a bit skeptical about the applicater, worried if I will get it right and what if the whole thing gets stuck inside. Now that would have been a mission failure. With the easy to read instructions I managed to put on my grown up girl panties on and went on with my mission. I felt like Dexter! I assumed my position with my knees bent and feet apart and in just a few seconds the mission was accomplished. The tampon was safely placed and it felt like nothing was in there. I had to check if the string was still in view a couple of times before doing my happy girl dance (you don't want to see that, Lol!) I think with the presence of the applicator it makes things seem like a top mission (if you know what I mean) even if you are used to putting on a normal tampon. But what makes the tampax compak tampons different is that it is more hygienic when applying it.
When a mission is a success why not teach your girlfriend. Yes that's what I eventually had to do with my girlfriend who was a first time user of tampons. All I said was take a deep breath and relax and handed her the leaflet (nope I wasn't going to do it for her). The only part I wasn't happy with was when I had to remove it. It had gone long & I feared it would not all come out when I pulled! With the other tampons I use, they retain their shape & stay quite solid which makes me a lot more confident that they are holding all they can & they will not fall apart inside me.
