Justine 3 Step Daily Hydrating Regime

Justine is just overpriced Avon products as they are manufactured by the same people.
I was not happy with the range at all, my Avon products that is much cheaper than Justine works so much better.

Daily Skincare Hydrating for Dry Skin from Justine , has been a very pleasant experience
the foaming cleanser is gentle and has a pleasing fragrance and does not dry my skin, even though it feels so clean after using it use it 2 x a day and must say it removes make up really well
the toner is a lovely consistency.. gel like, kind to my skin and doesn't burn the delicate area around my eyes
the crème is light , smells great, I do feel however it does not give my skin enough hydration as by the end of the day my skin feels a little tight, if however I use it in conjunction with a night crème its great

Justine uneven skin tone range is not only for perfecting the skin tone but also to reduce acne and clean dead cells on your skin. In just 5 days, my skin was already showing changes and becoming smoothly even toned. My dark spots are brightening up, looking more evenly and healthy.
The perfecting gel cleanser: is so gentle on the skin and purifies all the impurities leaving the skin feeling fresh. It is soap free and leaves the skin moistured.
Perfecting toning lotion: with the help of cotton wool, removes the dead skin cells, allowing the skin to breath and leaves the skin feeling fresh. It is alcohol-free.
Perfecting day cream: soothes and hydrate the skin for a balanced mattified look. Very light on the skin with SPf 5 for full sun protection..

Upon receiving the product I was very excited to use it as I have tried a couple of things on the market but nothing has really worked to my satisfaction.  After being a few weeks into using these products I cannot say with 100% certainty that it is agreeing with my skin tone/texture etc.  The actual process of using the products is not long at all so this does not make it feel like a burden or like a chore because it goes really quickly.  When I first started to use it I noticed that my skin felt cleaner and especially since I use make up regularly the make up came off much easier.  The results of the first few days left me a bit skeptic because I had experienced a break out on my skin, nothing that was bad enough for me to not want to walk the streets, it’s just that I was not use to having breakouts, I decided to stick to using it since I figured it was a cleanser and it was probably cleansing my skin of impurities that could not be seen with the naked eye. After about 5 days it started to clear up.  I am still actively using the products as I like the feel of my skin after using it.  It has a soft silky effect to it.  Thank you Justine for great products…

This is a very gentle cream cleanser that is easy to use in the bath or shower. After using the cleanser, my skin didn't feel dry or 'tight'. It felt moisturized, yet clean and supple. The texture and fragrance is also very pleasant. I have sensitive, dry skin, and this cleanser didn't make it better. After a week of using it, I started getting a breakout. I stopped using it after that.
I do find it upsetting that this product contains Triethanolamine (TEA). TEA causes allergic reactions including eye problems, dryness of hair and skin, and could be toxic if absorbed into the body over a long period of time. These chemicals are already restricted in Europe due to known carcinogenic effects (although still in use in the U.S.) This is the one reason I would not buy it.
This product is also contains fragrance. Most people with dry skin are sensitive to fragrance.
This product also contains parabens. Although results are not yet conclusive, recent studies have shown that parabens may play a causative role in breast tumours. Many cancer experts recommend that people stay away from parabens, and I try to avoid them myself.

This is the first time I have used Justine, and I must say it was love at first sight. I'm sure the fact that the packaging just happens to be in my favourite colour probably has something to do with it, but also it just looks so elegant. The fragrance as well is clean and refreshing.
I have sensitive dry skin, and have always had difficulty in finding a product that didn't cause a reaction on my skin. But not with Justine!
Step 1: The cream cleanser is gentle on my skin. Unlike soap cleansers that tend to leave my skin feeling tight and screaming for some moisturiser.
Step 2: The gel toner is amazing!!! I love that it is alcohol free! It doesn't strip my skin of all it's natural oils, since I have such dry skin....I need the natural oils!
Step 3: The day cream is "blue" yey! It is smoothe and leaves my skin feeling moisturised, yet not oily and has the added SPF15 to help protect my skin from the harsh UV rays.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this one to my girls ;)

I received my Justine Daily skincare Hydrating for Dry Skin... At first I thought (Sigh) ok lets give this range a chance... I have tried much more expensive ranges that did not work for me so what do i have to loose right...

Opened up my parcel and what a delightful sight. No neon colours and fancy patterns all over the show ... Just simple yet elegent packaging... Small enough to fit into my vanity case when I travel and big enough to fit enough product in to last for atleast a month :) Already I have given Justine 10 points... Just for presentation!

Cleanser.... Squirt just the right amount of cleanser in my palm and I start cleansing... this soft and smooth cleanser just slides on my face and I can actually feel it cleaning out my pores... Now usually I would have to do this again... But with Justine I didnt feel the need to ... I was satisfied!! Rinsed and pat it dry with a towel..
This is where my face would tend to go all tight and feel very uncomfortable... But to my surprise I felt like I didnt even have to continue with this process... Already I was happy... :)

Toner... So I take my cotton pad ... thinking to myself jeeeez... this toner is going to spill all over the show... Open up the cap and WOW! ITS A GEL TONER!!! THIS IS AMAZING! It goes onto the cotton pad as intended ... No spillage No mess No fuss! I wipe down my face and leave to dry... Such a cooling sensation while i wait for it to dry... I really like this product!!

Moisturiser... Now this is my favorite... I apply the moisturiser all over the face ... It is so smooth and soft its like the perfect ending to this process... Its like the reward hahaha. Its subtleness and gentleness is by far the best and not only does it leave my skin looking amazingly healthy it also gives it this glow and leaves it hydrated all day long. No more dry patches and No more redness. Just beautifully Naturally Healthy Glowing Skin! I can definitely get use to this luxury ;)

As the days go by I can definitely see a change ... My skin is looking more and more healthy... More and more beautiful and much much more youthful :)

Justine facial range as done pure magic to my skin. My skin has become fuller and brighter everyday since i started using it no more dark spots or dry skin for me. No more scary days of me looking at the mirror and thing to myself what i'm i going to do with my face. In three easy and simple steps i have come to know what Justine facial range can do for me and i'm really thankful cos now i can go anywhere with confidence and don't have to hide under foundation to cover up my dark spots and dry skin and uneven skin tone

This was my first time using Justine skincare and I was excited to see the results. So here is my experience.

I have never considered using a cream cleanser and was surprised to find that it removes makeup just as well as my regular cleanser. Then there is the Toning gel which I love. My skin feels so refreshed after applying it. I also have extremely sensitive skin and have to be careful when trying a different moisturizer. I was not surprised when my skin reacted to the Hydrating moisturizing, but I can honestly say that the rash was not as bad as it would have been with other brands. I only had slight bumps, where as with other brands my face would be red, itchy and swollen.

I have started taking proper care of my skin in high school, when my mom introduced me to the three skincare steps. Below I will explain what these steps are and why these steps are important to me, also why every person should make it part of their daily routine.

Step 1: Cleansing - I used Justine's Cream Cleanser
This step is important to cleanse your skin of excess oil, makeup and impurities. If you were wearing makeup during the day be sure to remove it with a good cleanser before you go to bed at night.

Step 2: Toning - I used Justine's Toning Gel
Its main action is to remove any remaining traces of the cleanser. It tightens the skin in preparation for moisturizing. If you have steamed your face after cleansing, toning tightens up the pores of the skin. This is important before you apply makeup.
Tip: Dampen the cotton pad before applying the toner, this will prevent the cotton from absorbing too much toner that would end up going to waste.

Step 3: Moisturizing - I used Justine's Hydrating Day Cream
Moisturizers help keep your skin cells hydrated, making your skin appear softer and more youthful so be sure to moisturize after every cleansing, both in the morning and before bed at night. Another plus, foundation glides on smoother and is less streaky after you moisturize.
Tip: Apply using circular spiral upward movements.

I also include Justine's Tissue Oil in my routine. I will upload a separate review soon. Hope you found this helpful.

My thoughts on this range:

STEP 1 – CREAM CLEANSER:
• Presented in firm tube in light blue
• The flat bottom makes for easy storage
• No distinctive smell
• Light & creamy
• Goes on smoothly on dry skin & washes off easily
• One only use a pea size at a time so cost-effective
• Left my skin feeling soft, supple & fresh

STEP 2 – TONING GEL:
• Light blue bottle with silver around top (stylish!)
• Gel is light & non-sticky
• Soft, clean & almost powdery feminine fragrance
• Works well on cotton wool disc to swipe all over face
• One only use a pea size at a time so cost-effective
• Left my skin clean & fresh without feeling taut like some toners do

STEP 3 - DAY CREAM WITH SPF15:
• Light-textured, but rich & creamy
• Blue coloured which is quite different & cute
• Soft, clean & almost powdery feminine fragrance
• Apply with fingertips all over face & neck
• Use very little at a time = cost-effective
• Left my skin feeling rehydrated, moisturised & firm just as product claims, but not too oily

FINAL VERDICT:
• 1, 2 ,3 easy steps
• Took me less than 3 minutes a day
• My skin was cleaned of all impurities, toned, rehydrated & moisturised and left supple, soft & firm without oily residue.
• This regime is easy to follow & the products of high quality, delivering on their promises
• Did put some glow back in my lacklustre dry skin
• The only negative is the price, although one only uses a tiny amount at a time & the cleanser & toner should last at least 2 months
• AWESOME RANGE THAT MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE TO MY DRY SKIN!

Firstly a huge thanx to BB and Justine for selecting me to be apart of the review club :) After religiously using the range for Oily skin day and night every day for the past 2 and a half weeks, i am sad to say that I am some what dissapointed.

I have super oily skin and when u heard about this u guess my hopes where pretty high, I thought it would be the solution I have finally been looking for, but alas it was not to be.

on the plus side, i really like the clay face wash, it foams up really nicely and leaves my skin super clean and fresh. What i like most about this is the dual function that it can also be used as a deep cleansing face mask!

The toner smells great, but does not stand out compared to any other toner that i have used in the past.

Finally the day cream, it has a gel like texture with a gorgeous fresh scent, sort of reminds me of cucumbers. It applies easily and is absorbed easily into the skin, also having a cool effect. It has a light wear and makes my skin feel super soft to the touch.

BUT, as far as reducing the oiliness of my skin as this range promises to do? Unfortunately, there is no difference, not even a fraction. I even ditched make up while trying out this range to ensure that I got the most out of my products, but it seems my efforts were in vain.

Don't get me wrong, this range ticks alot of boxes and I think it would be okay for someone with pretty normal skin perhaps with a touch of oiliness, but for some one like myself with super oily skin, definitely not as it didnt help one bit. Would i purchase this out of my own, definitely not. Would i recommend this to someone with oily skin? Definitely not. But I would recommend to someone with normal skin though. A little sad that this did not help me.

Ok time for a brilliant feedback for a brilliant product that I recieved from Kelly,thank you Kelly you always know how to make a girl feel great.I recieved my Justine daily skincare balance range consisting of a balancing cleanser,balancing toner and the balancing day cream for normal/combination skin which basically means for skin that has dry areas but an oily tzone.I have been using it this past week and have literally timed the application from start to finish,with a time of 2 minutes and 52 seconds I have cleansed my face,toned my face and applied the day cream which is pretty cool for a mom on the run.I have also found that my pores have appeared smaller and when I apply my foundation it goes on smoothly and my face looks brighter and healthier plus very dewy so I dont look at all tired.The prices are also great for those on a tight budget ranging form R99 for the toner or cleanser and R119 for the day or the night cream,I even happened to check out the specials that they have at the moment where they give you a free pack of cleansing wipes when you buy any two products from the daily skincare range which leaves you feeling quite spoilt Yay.I will definately spread the word on these great products from Justine because I absolutely loved and trusted the product after the fantastic results and for a company that was started in May 1973 you know they know their stuff (yes I have done my homework thouroughly Justine) you guys are great keep it up .

I have been using the Justine Hydrating range for about 2 weeks and i am very impressed with it.
It has cleared up my breakouts and makes my skin look clear and healthy.

It is very easy to use
step 1: Cleanse using the Hydrating Cream Cleanser, you only need a pea size amount, it removes all the dirt and impurities.

step 2: Tone using the Hydrating Toning Gel, you need two pea size drops on a cotton pad, the toner is a clear color, it doesn't leave the skin feeling dry, tight and flaky.
And an added bonus it has no alcohol in it.

step 3: Moisturize using the Hydrating Day cream with SPF 15, you need a small amount. It is blue in color. It moisturizes the skin without the shine and oiliness and is long lasting.

I want to first say thank you to BB for selecting me as one of The Justine daily skin care range reviewers. This is my first review and so please bear with me. I received it 2 weeks ago but have just recently used it. I use another brand for many years and I must say I was a bit hesitant to use a different one. But hey, in the end I convinced myself that I must use it - even if it's only for the review. I first tried it at night, where I wash my face with lukewarm water and a face towel. I then used the Justine cleanser, the texture is quite different, as you don't get any foam but this moisture in your hands when you put it on..it looks and feels like body lotion!

Next up was the toner, I read a review from the same range where it was mentioned that you might think that using a cleanser only will remove make up...but hey when I applied the toner using my make up pads and there was more make up on the pads..Eeeww!!

I don't use any cream at night unless it's a night cream and unfortunately this range didn't come with it. Same routine in the morning, but with the day cream - I love the glass package - it has an expensive look. I love that I only apply a bit of it and immediately my skin feels moisturized (whole point right? :) ) - I perspire very easily but with the day cream applied I didn't which is what I most like about this range. Totally recommend it..It's won me over

Justine a South African skin care brand was founded over 40 years ago.It is well know for it iconic tissue oil.I was given the hydrating range to test and review over three weeks ago.The first thing I noticed was that listed in the ingredients were various parabans,which I was not happy to see.Most skin care companies have removed these nasty ingredients and become greener and more environmentally friendly.I was surprised and dissapointed that Justine was not one of them.The second thing I attended to was smelling the products.The smell was acceptable but seemed rather chemical and artificial to me,which did not appeal to my senses.I have been spoilt using Decleor products which are based on aromatherapy oils and smell incredible and natural,so my judgement may be a little harsh in this context.I would not purchase products if they smelt like this personally and by choice as I prefer a more natural smell.

The first step in this skin care regime was cleansing with the Hydrating Cream Cleanser,which comes in a 150 ml tube priced at R160.The texture is thick and creamy and it can be used with water or tissued off.Although its supposed to be hydrating,my skin felt rather dry after using it.I don't wear a lot of makeup except on the odd occasion so I don't know how effective it is in this department.

The second step was using the Hydrating Toning Gel which comes in a 200 ml bottle and is priced at R160.The gel like texture is very cooling but difficult to use as it slips of the cotton wool pads.I found myself pressing it into the cotton wool pads to make it usable.It is used to remove any traces of cleanser and smooth and hydrate the skin.I did not find it hydrating and rather drying for my skin.

The third and final step was applying the Hydrating Day Cream SPF 15.This comes in a 50 ml jar and is priced at R245.It is a thick cream but spreads quite well and is quickly absorbed by the skin.Again I did not find it hydrating enough for my skin but still acceptable as a day cream.

It would have been nice to have received the matching Hydrating Night Cream that comes in this range which I believe would have given one a better overall result.

The range is very easy to use and affordable but if one is used to a more high end brand,it would not be appealing.My skin although feeling a bit dry looks clear and supple.I would say someone who has no skin routine would find this range a great way to start looking after their skin as it is easy to maintain in terms of time and affordability and its 3 step daytime regime easy to keep up.

This range is the best Hydrating range on the market. It has a very feminine smell, I love the softness of the Cleanser and although I normally don't use a Toning product, I love this one because it feels nice. The most toners that I seen in the past, was a little bit messy because it was like water, but because this one is a gel, it works much better. The Hydrating Day Cream have a SPF 15 and have a lovely texture and smell. My skin is a sensitive, but this product is so soft and creamy, that I've seen an improvement already. Love this product and give it a 10 out of 10 mark.

I've been using tge Justine range for oiky skin for about a week and I LOVE it! I have the mattifying clay cleanser, toning lotion and day cream with SPF 15. After using it for a few days I noticed that my skin was much less oily and shiny during the day. The cleanser is gentle but very effective. And doesn't leave my skin feeling tight and dry. The toner smells great and doesn't burn when applied to a pimple which is an added bonus! The moisturiser has a gel-like texture and is easily absorbed. Dying to get my hands on the night cream! Directions of use:
Steps I used when using the Justine daily skin care range:
Remove all makeup from face using your normal makeup remover.
Apply cleanser and massage it on to your face.
Wash off the cleanser with luke warm water and damp your face with dry cloth.
Apply the gel toner using some makeup pads and gently rub it on to face, this will remove all extra dirt that the cleanser might not have.( I was so shocked to see all dirt that wasn’t washed off!(EWWW)
Apply day cream rub in gently.Viola!!


My Overall Thoughts:
This range is brilliant! Justine really impressed me with there daily care range.
I have really dry skin and find it hard using products on my face I also suffer from eczema which makes it harder for me to find products that won’t irritate my skin.


Thank you to the Beauty Bulletin ladies who picked me to use Justine daily skin care range and I have to say all ladies has to try out these products. I love the Gel toner, normally I find toners that are very strong and harmful but this toner is so soft and gentle on my skin in fact the cleanser and day cream too. They smell absolutely amazing!! My face smells so good!

I use it daily and it leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturised.

The Hydrating Day Cream, Hydrates my skin and the SPF15 is convenient enough, so I don’t need
extra products for protection against sun damage

This cream cleanser works well to remove make-up and impurities, but its not my fav simply because it leaves an icky film on your face and I cant wait to use my toner afterwards! In fact, there are days where I just HAVE to splash some water on my face as I cant stand the feeling it leaves on my skin. The upside is that it is gentle enough to wipe off eye-makeup and there is no stinging and your skin feels lovely and soft after toning!
