GHD has always been somewhat of a status symbol. I remember going on a weekend trip and this girl askes if I straightened my hair with a GHD and I did not own one then. I immediately said yes... She raved about it and I did too, saying how I could never live without it etc. Little did I that it would be the case. I got my GHD in 2010/2011 and I have had the best hair days since then. Whenever we go somewhere and I dont pack my GHD I have to use a normal straightener. I literally cry at the state of my hair after using a normal straightener. When people ask me how much my GHD was they cringe. They dont KNOW how it changes your life. My GHD is an addiction. My husband has failed to date to insure my GHD. I have told him if something were to happen to it he will replace it that same day. No way in hell will I ever use any other straightener ever again. This bird of paradise collection is absolutely gorgeous. I cant wait to get my hands on it. GHD is my drug.
