Ok so i do not own a GHD *hides* which certainly would be a dream come true. I have medium length course hair which requires relaxing and straightening for days. The only time i have a chance to ruffle my feathers is a trip to the salon which only happens every 8 weeks (we know why). i love love styling my hair with curls, extensions and color but because its so fragile and requires extra heat i dont do it as often as i would like. winning this GHD limited edition bird of paradise would certainly change my bird mood from a Goliath Cockatoo to a Bali bird of paradise. NOW THAT WOULD CERTAINLY RUFFLE MY FEATHERS!! #GetMyPeacockOn

What tickles my fancy about this GHD is definitely first the colour, I am a sucker for those shades, secondly and also very importantly this is the Rolls Royce of hair straighteners and who would want to own a Golf when they can own a Rolls Royce? This product does not damage your hair, in fact it is good for your hair and who would want to look scruffy when you can look like you have just stepped out of the studio after a Hollywood photo shoot? PLUS you can have sleek straight hair or bouncy gorgeous curls.

How do I even begin to describe my obsession with my hair looking good!!! I live for my hair continuously looking sleek and smooth.I have other straighteners because alas my pocket can't afford a GHD at this stage of my life…But I keep hoping and praying maybe one day when I am BIG I can have the ferrari of hair straighteners….I weight in anticipation between hair dresser appointments for the GHD to grace my tresses so I can once gain have the smooth luscious locks I so desire…Sorry :) me getting carried away again back to my little moment as I was saying I have other straighteners but none quite do the job as well as a GHD the plates break and pull my hair and also tend to damage the hair as you have to keep on ironing over and over the same piece of hair to get it slightly smooth then it still doesn't quite look the same…I don't even have thick bushy hair I have quite easy hair apart from the head band of frizz that is so bad I get a Brazilian blow wave on my hair line to tame my "homies" as my hair dresser likes to call them those frizzy fine hairs around the hair line that tend to make me look like I stuck my finger in a plug…. So I think I have some what made my point how much I NEEEEEEEEED to have that beautiful straightener to tame my plumage and ruffle all the right feathers with a hot slick hair do that will have all the other birds singing sweet songs for me…:D xoxoxo

I always had short hair & decided to grow my hair long. It took me 3 years to grow my hair. A year ago I bought a cheapie Hair straightener as I could not afford the GHD and convinced myself that they are all the same and boy was I so so very wrong! Every time I saw someone with beautiful long straight hair, I would ask them what they used to get their hair so straight and still have their hair look so healthy and same answer always - GHD! All my friends have one, the hair salons use them and with my cheapie that I bought, my hair still looks frizzy & unhealthy and partly straight in some places. Not only is the GHD sexy looking and every girls dream Hair Straightener but also the fact that your hair still looks healthy, shiny and looks like you stepped out of a salon. Even for someone like me that is still battling to use my cheapie one that does nothing for my hair but looks like I took my iron and laid my hair on an ironing board and tried so hard for hours to try to get that perfect straight hair, even after all this I regret not ever saving and buying a GHD. If its not GHD then really don't bother buying one and take this from someone that has the experience of not listening to her inner voice saying save for the GHD. I have researched and compared and still nothing beats or tops GHD. And not only to see some uploads on Youtube of what all this amazing gadget for your hair can do from straightening to even adding a few curls too...GHD is definitely by far the best on the market and I am very sure that GHD will be around for many years...what can you not love about it anyway!

My hair is long and straight and has no way of curling....the only to get a curl in my hair is by using my GHD...ever since I got my 1st GHD I had no problems with doing curls...I could do with this new limited addition as my GHD is packing up...

My first hair iron that I bought was a GHD, my friends and I ordered over the net as it was not available in SA at the time. That was about 10 years ago. It was a black in colour and was the best investment I've made in my life. It's the colour of the Bird Of Paradise Collection that ruffles my feathers. It's extremely attractive looking. Having a GHD is having perfect hair all the time, sleek, shiny, and healthy hair. My GHD was recently stolen from my house. and I can't afford to get another one just yet. Ever since I had my GHD(which is now old and is dying) My hair has never been thinner and healthier. My hair doesn’t break down as much and I can take pride in looking good. One of the first things that I had my eyes on as a student was a GHD. I remember making a deal with my father that if I got into honours I would get a GHD and I did!!! 7 years later and my GHD is still my favorite go to hair life saver, however with age my treasured styler is dying on me. What tickles my fancy about a GHD is the ability to transform not only your hair to poker straight, curly, volumous etc. is the ability to transform my confidence from a frumpy mom of two (2nd on the way) to a glamorous diva. Wowsies! The new GHD Bird of Paradise barrel has a great clour. It is so fitting for the Brazil Soccer World Cup because it makes you think of a tropical paradise! My hair was straight the whole day, never ever had heat damage and even the curls it made was amazing :) For a review the GHD hair straightener i give it a 100 out of 10 hehehe..... Now what about the GHD V Lagoon ruffles my feathers.... ITS GORGEOUS.... Those colors are just Beautiful hehe i am sure i can turn this ugly duckling into a sexy swan if i use this stunning GHD :D Good luck ladies.... and may the best Chikita win ;)

Wouldn't it be great to own one of these limited edition stylers from GHD. The colour effects are so beautiful and amazing. I know the brand is renowned for high quality products and my hair is safe from singeing and burning when using this tool. Hi, my name is Ronelle and i have always been a big big admirer of the GHD. I dont have one myself, but my girlfriend does and i must say its really a stunning tool to have especially on really bad hair days and you can even use it if your hair has not been washed, the result is still the same, beautiful straight hair (the way i wear my hair). What is even more convenient is the fact that you can use it as a multi styling tool like when you want to create curls, you dont need a curling iron, you can use the GHD. If the GHD V LAGOON is anything like the GHD GOLD and GHD ECLIPSE than its the perfect everything. And yes, i would love to win it.

A GHD is a must have. It's not a nice to have. The quality of the finish is exceptional,allowing busy working moms to go about their very busy lives without having to think of their hair! The colour of the new GHD is really something to get excited about too- not only does it look like something out of paradise, it is also an incredibly (and highly functional might I add) tool. The ceramic heat technology leaves your hair smooth for days. To be honest, not having a GHD would mean not being able to leave the house!

Out off all the hair straighteners that I have tried and tested over the past 7 years, GHD gives me the most amazing results which are guaranteed with any of their straighteners. It by far surpasses every other straighter on the market with regards to visual appearance, technology, packaging and even after market service! The New GHD Lagoon from the Limited Edition Bird Of Paradise Collection is absolutely beautiful and definitely eye catching, and the accompanying heat protecting mat is a definite bonus! I usually go for the typical black styler, But this really evokes the exotic side of me and definitely gets my creative juices flowing in terms of styles to be created - I'm thinking sexy and sultry!! I love the colours tropical turquoise and shimmering it gives the GHD a funky girlie look just what a lady will love it really caught my eye because I love it (my favourite colour) I’m glad the cord is a nice length good to move around especially when I turn my head to look at my husband when he talks to me. And the best part for me of the new GHD is that it has a sleep mode awesome awesome because I always intend to forget that my plat iron is on and that’s what happens to the cheap flat irons it burn out which I have. The round barrel is good so that we as ladies don’t have to struggle to make curls because I find it very hard to but the new GHD V laggon looks fantastic for any style, hassle free just for me. ?
