I have been using Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream for over a month now and am still very happy with it as a moisturiser. I believe it is just the correct amount of hydration for my ageing, combination skin in the cooler months of the year. This is a multi-corrective cream so Kiehl’s claims that it can do a lot. Specifically Kiehl’s claims that its formula in particular the combination of Beech tree extract, Jasmonic acid and hyaluronic acid “helps visibly improve skin’s resilience, redefine the appearance of contours, and smooth the look of wrinkles. Skin feels intensely hydrated, texture looks refined and pores are less visible - revealing a fresh, healthy and youthful-looking radiance.” I would agree with much of this claim as my skin does feel hydrated and my skin does look fuller even refined. I’ll even concede that the craters (pores to you) on my nose do look shallower though my cheeks still look very pocky. However the appearance of wrinkles/lines have not become less apparent and they completely lost me on the contouring. Kiehl’s also suggests one uses the cream twice a day unfortunately it does not contain any sun protection which is not ideal in sunny South Africa, so you would have to add sunscreen afterward.

All in all I found Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream hydrates my skin beautifully, it feels softer to the touch and visibly looks improved. However it is not a cure all magic bullet and without any added sun protection I feel over R 700 for 50 ml is a bit steep. I will continue using the cream even though the review period has passed as there still seems to be quite a bit in the jar even after a month's use. If it were half the price I would consider repurchasing it.

So, it's week 3 and I'm still using my Kiehl's products. The Super Multi-Corrective Cream is now a favourite of mine and I still marvel at how quickly it is absorbed and how well it moisturises. The other plus, being a little goes a long way, is also still true and I sometimes wonder if I'm actually being too stingy with my application, but I'm trying to savour it and use as little product as possible in order to lengthen the usage. Don't want to see the bottom of this little tub!

As far as the anti-aging progress goes, I haven't seen any marked difference, but the way my skin FEELS, has made a remarkable turn-around. It is smooth, it looks healthy and I daresay it even glows! That alone is a big plus for me because I usually have a sullen/dull skin (or so I'm told). I found the product to be a real rejuvenator, even if it's not obvious to the critical eye, I know the difference and applaud the manufacturers of this special product.

I will continue to use it till I DO see the bottom of the tub, but I'm hoping that won't be any time soon. If I see anything dramatic, I will immediately report on it, but so far I can report the benefits are soft, radiant skin that feels nourished and no longer dry and dull.

A definite thumbs-up for Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream!

I am really enjoying this product, except for the shiny skin! I find that the longer I use it, the shinier my skin gets and the more blotting papers I need to use during the day. HOWEVER, I have noticed and improvement in the firmness of my skin and a reduction in the fine lines. My dark marks don't seem too reduced as yet, but possibly that is something that long-term use would improve. I took a photo with no make-up and after application, so you can see what I mean about the shininess, but I think my skin on the whole looks a lot younger. If it weren't for the price, I would definitely make this my go-to product for winter!

I am enjoying using this product. My skin tends to be a bit on the dry side, so it needs all the moisture it can get. My skin definitely has a more supple feel. I skipped one day of using and felt the difference throughout the day. I am still amazed at how little is needed to get the desired effect.

I still have the wrinkles so hopefully by week 3 they will start to vanish.

After using the Super Multi-Corrective Cream for three weeks it has confirmed to me that this moisturiser is really best suited to normal/dry skin as opposed to oilier skin. I have had to stop using it during the day and only use it at night because it makes my t-zone significantly oilier during the day when compared to an oil-free lotion.

My breakouts have not cleared up and I haven't noticed any difference to my visible pores or the texture of my skin. If I compare my week one photos with my week three photos I can't see much visible difference in my skin.

I still really like the texture of this cream and do find it very nourishing and hydrating. The initial tingling on application wore off after the first week, but has been replaced by a slight burning sensation over time. I am sure that my skin is sensitive to an ingredient because it does get quite red when I apply it. My skin always looks much better in the mornings when I wake up (no redness, no dehydration, and looking quite smooth) but the immediate effects on application are a bit worrying.

I think this could be a wonderful option for those with drier and less sensitive skin. I also initially thought it was quite pricey, but when considering how little you need to use this jar will last a long time and is therefore good value.

So it’s been almost three weeks since I started on Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream.
In my last post I raved about the instant radiance it gave me. On the jar it claims that skin feels intensely hydrated revealing a fresh, healthy youthful-looking radiance . . . which I still agree with.
However, the claim of your skin looking more refined and your pores being less visible is something I haven’t noticed. Yes, there were some textural changes, but the not the good kind. In my first impressions review, I did also note that the cream broke me out and I’m sad to say that it got worse. The before and after pics show what I am talking about.
My skin colour has darkened or more likely reddened because of the irritation to my skin.
I haven’t added anything else in my skin care nor have I changed my diet, so I can only assume that it is indeed the cream.
I am in no way slating the cream because I think it is a superb hydrating and luxurious feeling cream. I am quite certain that my skin has reacted to an ingredient in the cream, from which I have now noted that I have super sensitive skin. That said, the breakouts are cause for concern. In fact, I have to now set about the task of getting rid of the scarring. I really wanted this cream to work for me, unfortunately, the cons far outweigh the pros for me at this stage. I will use it for another week and see if anything changes and ride out the full month.
A bit disappointed. But let's hope the next week brinks me a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow :)

I was pleasantly surprised by the texture of the moisturizer. It wasn’t oily and it felt like it was rapidly absorbed into my skin, leaving no residue. I was amazed at how a little bit of the product could coat my entire face! A little really does go a LONG way! The texture is light, slightly creamy and has no significant scent (I liked that a lot as oftentimes products with a serum can be quite unpleasant.) I am concentrating on covering the fine lines of my face, neck and décolletage and hope to see significant results soon. I have a feeling this is going to be a great product and cannot wait to see the real results after more applications. Keep watching this space for an update! (PS: I have only used it once a day, unlike some who have used it both morning and evening, so I will only report on the once-a-day opinion) :)

I have been using Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream for two weeks now. My skin feels soft and more plump. I do not find the cream to rich for my skin as I haven’t had a major break out; still just a pimple or two. I have read that others have found the cream too greasy. To that I say I’d rather have a bit of shine than feeling that my skin is super stretched over my facial bones. And anyhoo the post workout glow is on trend at the mo and I don’t even have to break a sweat. :) I am still very happy using Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream.

Firstly, thank you Beauty Bulletin for selecting me....my 1st time.

I have been using the Kiehl's cleanser and toner for awhile now & also the Kiehl's Super Fluid UV Defense 50+ Sunscreen which I don't use everyday though. Unfortunately I have been using another brand moisturizer as Kiehl's was a bit pricey for me and also waiting on Edgars specials...lol SO...how excited was I to be chosen.

I have a oily T and suffer from redness and pigmentation. My face was always red after cleaning my face and often hear you have to use the complete range (brand) of skincare in order to see results.

I am in my 2nd week and although my face is not red after cleaning I do find my T-zone still oily but not so much as before though. It could be the glow everyone is talking about :-)

A good thing I followed the Kiehl's chat last week and checked the website as often one does get confused in what order to use the various products and also learnt the following: "you need to remember to use our Kiehl's Super Fluid UV Defense 50+ Sunscreen when using products that contain salicylic acid, glycolic acids and alpha-hydroxyl acids :) to avoid pigmentation!"

When using the Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream a little goes a long way so although pricey it will last a couple of months. I am needing to buy the Kiehl's Super Fluid UV Defense 50+ Sunscreen and might consider another moisturizer for the day to control my oily T and use the Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream at night.

I don't use a concealer to hide the pigmentation (as it's not that bad anymore) however still use a powder for the oily (shine) T-zone.

I look forward to the next 2 weeks and winter and see the difference in my skin especially the oily T-zone as that is my main concern.

Good Luck Ladies :-)

As someone who is constantly on the go I need a face care routine that is fast, simple yet packs a punch. When I received my package I was quite excited to see what this pretty little purple pot of magic could do for me.

I love the smell of the face cream, earthy, yet fresh, and not overpowering. Its smooth to the touch and I was really impressed with the small amount needed to get the desired result. My face instantly felt hydrated and moisturised. I noted there was no oily residue.

I also find that since using Kiehl's the application of my foundation is a lot easier than before. I do find my skin is less dull and more rejuvenated.

I hope week two will do some serious work on the lines on my forehead. I have been told my skin is looking firmer as well.

This is one week that has seen me gun deeply after the imperfection on my face with a fierce approach.
I have finally made up my mind that this is warfare and I want to see my face looking like my younger days even if it costs this much.
My face has seen the valleys and mountains that maturing and child birth has had to offer - not forgetting the toll of my younger careless days when I took no worthwhile skin care routine to heart.....the lie of believing one could be as that young until earth passes away.

3 kids later and having gone over the 30 years mark, I see the marks and the pores as well as the sunken eyes.

I am eagerly targeting my eyes, the discolouration around my forehead and mouth area and pores on my cheeks. One of the most interesting part of this Kiehl 's journey is having to learn how to effectively apply the eye-opening serum and the super multi-corrective cream - it is somewhat fun too! It is a soft and silky to the feel and it has a subtle smell that is not overpowering thus it doesn't take centre as a smell one carries around. When applying both creams to my eyes and face respectively, it is easily absorbed and leaves a feeling of absolute moisture. I must admit that it is a feeling that also makes me feel radiant yet not shiny at all. This whole week, I have been wearing my Kiehl combo, eye liner and lipstick - I am happy with the step by step changes that I am seeing thus far.

As I am enjoying the sight of my natural skin and watching closely to witness all changes.
I am hopeful that at the end of the journey, the verdict will be glorious.

Ah, pregnancy. It makes your skin glow for the first half, and wreaks havoc in the second. I'm currently sitting at 9 and a half months, which means my skin is all over the show - sensitive, red, puffy and upset. I have been using the Kiehl's Super Multi Corrective Cream for just over a week now, and wanted to share my first impressions with you.

When I first saw the tub, I thought I must have been duped - as it looked tiny! That being said the purple colour, old school typography and glossy packaging was highly appealing. I am also really impressed with the texture and consistency of the cream - as a little does go a long way, which means this small tub should last just as long as its bigger counterparts. The smell of the cream is fresh with a hint of herbs and aromatherapy - however not too overpowering.

The skin takes a few minutes to sink in after application, and I sense that this is a cream better suited to winter when the air is more dry. That being said it does not leave an oily residue, and works as a great base for foundation (I still suggest a primer pre, and a powder post foundation, application).

I still have yet to notice a massive improvement in skin texture, but that could be due to several other factors.

I also only use the cream as a day cream and not at night as directed.

I'm looking forward to using this cream for longer, and really seeing the benefits of the product.

As part of Beauty Bulletin’s review club I have been using Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream for a few days now. My first impressions are pretty positive. This is a good moisturiser especially for dehydrated skin.

It has a very subtle herby fragrance, which does not last past application. It is thinner than I expected which means a little goes a long way and it is absorbed quickly. My skin feels softer and more hydrated. It was going through a pretty bad patch and immediately felt better once I started using the Super Multi-Corrective Cream though I’m still getting the odd pimple. Unfortunately it does not contain any sun defence so during the day you would have to add sunscreen after moisturising. Now if it could get rid off this days long headache I have I would be completely sold but miracles are only promised after four weeks of use ;) .

I received a 50 ml jar Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream from Beauty Bulletin to review and report its effectiveness over a period of a month.

Thank you Beauty Bulletin for allowing me the opportunity to try out and review the Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream.

My first impressions on the product, was that it seemed a little greasy with a fragrance I am not particularly fond of on application.
However, the fragrance fades away and I use the cream only at night as it leaves my skin with an oily sheen.
With the product presented in a jar, I expected a little spatula or something to avoid having to dip my fingers into it, but I am comfortable as I use the cream as part of a cleansing routine, so hands are clean! ;)

I've really seen the Kiehl's brand been advertised in social media a great deal in the past 2 years but its not a product I've seen much in retail.

I'm in my late 30's and am blessed with a good skin which I try to look after. I was really delighted to be chosen for this trial run to see what Kiehl's could do for me.

I found the price indication of the cream very daunting. I don't know that I could usually afford something like it or be attracted to a cream as expensive - but I will say that with each application, you really only need a little bit so a tub would easily stretch quite far. In my case - I think it would serve me for a year. If you split the cost over 12 months for a reputable product such as this, I think its good value then (approximately R75 per month)

I have been using the cream for a week now, once a day and in the evening when I clean my skin.

The scent of the cream is lovely. Its not overly scented and I almost sense a hint of cinnamon which I adore. The cream is not overly greasy but you can see that you skin has had a moisturiser applied.

I have to say that after week 1 I have at this stage noticed that my particular skin has been more greasy during the day and the skin on my forehead has appeared more pitted. I will continue to watch that.

I find that I have large pores on my nose and these seem much smaller and not as noticeable after using the cream for a week.

I will be posting a before photo and Week 1 after use photo.

First and foremost a huge thank you to Beauty Bulletin for this wonderful opportunity! This is my first review as part of a review club and its an honor.

When I received my parcel I couldn't wait to put it to the test and I did immediately. Looking at the jar it comes in I thought pretty humble packaging for a cream that is being claimed to do such wonders.. But in all fairness I have used creams in very flattering jars that were epic fails. When I took a sniff of this I was expecting something different ,more pleasing to the senses I guess, but it smells a bit medicated to me. Not a bad thing I've come to find out since creams that usually tend to smell incredible are loaded with chemicals.
The consistency of the cream is thick yet it smoothed on like liquid in motion. My skin felt instantly hydrated and lapped up the cream as if it were quenching a thirst for moisture. A little goes a long way.

It has been five days that I've been using this and what I've noticed since is my face looks brighter than usual, as if a layer of grime was lifted off, so to speak.

Being 35 everything tends to go down south including the skin on the face. I have a problem with sagging skin around the jawline, I've noticed significant firmness in that area to date.I feel my face looks a little more contoured and lifted. I don't have a major problem with pores but they are visible when taking a closer look, as yet I don't see any change in them but it is early days .

On the third day of using this cream ,my 12 year old daughter looked at me and said ' mamma are you doing something to you face because its looking good" haha she doesn't compliment me much so I'm over the moon, thanks to BB :D

Its such early days with Kiehl's and already it is making a difference ,I cannot wait to see in the long run how it transforms me further.

I was excited but nervous to try the Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream and Super Multi-Corrective Eye-Opening Serum because products aimed at anti-ageing are usually not formulated with oily t-zones and blemish prone skin in mind. I have recently been battling with excess oiliness in my t-zone during the day and quite bad breakouts, and I was worried that using a moisturiser which isn't oil free would make this worse. Despite these issues I have don't really have a problem with skin texture or signs of ageing - I've kept those fine lines to a minimum at 33. I do suffer from redness and some pigmentation.

The cream comes in jar packaging which I'm really not a fan of. It looks very pretty, but I feel it isn't the best way to keep ingredients stable and the moisturiser hygienic. The cream is very thick and looks as though it would be heavy on the skin, but I was pleasantly surprised that it absorbs quickly and easily and doesn't feel greasy. It does a good job of hydrating, and makeup goes on nicely over it, but I find that during the day my t-zone gets quite oily. I would prefer to use this as a night moisturiser.

The first few times that I used it there was a tingling sensation, which means the active ingredients were doing something - exactly what, and whether it was good or bad remains to be seen - but that tingling has stopped after a week of use.

So far my favourite things about the Super Multi-Corrective Cream are the texture, the fact that my skin feels good after application, and the pleasant herbal scent. On the negative side, my breakouts, which I had just got under control, have got worse in the past week. I don't know whether this is purely hormonal, my skin adjusting to a new product, or in part because the formula isn't oil free.

I haven't seen any big immediate improvement in my skin, but after only a week I don't expect to see much difference. I am interested to see whether my skin is clearer, more even toned and my fine lines have improved after a month of use.

I have taken a naked face "before" picture where I've just applied the Super Multi-Corrective Cream so that it can be compared after a month. As you can see, the cream doesn't leave skin looking shiny at all.

Ok, let me put this out there. I never expected to be chosen as one of the 35 women on Beauty Bulletin to be getting the full-size Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream (worth R785) and five sample-size sachets of Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Eye-Opening Serum (worth R260). I am so excited as this is my FIRST time being in a review club.

I did the survey and honestly forgot about it. When I got that private message (you girls know what I’m talking about, yip the one that makes your heart sing and your eyebrows do the happy dance, yes, I can do that . . . it’s a rare talent indeed)
But my heart sank fast because I was nervous to try out the face cream. Why? Because I have had terrible breakouts recently and I picked at my spots (*hangs head in shame*) and well, it has left some bad scarring and uneven texture and tone to my skin as you see in the photographs. I am on a pretty strict skin care regime at the moment but I’ve stopped that and I now only use the moisturizer and eye cream.
I have combination skin, which can get oily on my T-Zone and I sometimes get dry patches on around my nose. This hasn’t happened in a while.
I don’t have huge pores but they are visible if you look really close as you can also see in the photographs. These photos were taken in natural light and I have nothing on my face. Yes, it took some courage. I the photos at angle where you can see the problem areas as well as my severe dark circles and pigmentation and freckles.
This cream claims to address the signs of aging and promises that the Beech Tree Extract, Jasmine and Hyaluronic Acids will lift, firm and retexturize skin.

My Routine:
I cleanse my face with the Estee Lauder Re-Nutrive Hydrating Crème cleanser (hate this stuff and basically trying to finish it because it was so expensive but it does nothing for my skin except hydrate it so I know it will not alter the results). I then spritz some Avene Thermique spray on my face let that dry and apply both eye cream then the face cream twice a day.
Because this moisturizer doesn’t have sunscreen I am using my Heliocare 360 Airgel sunblock SPF50.
By the time this post goes up, I would have been using the cream for three days.
The product and my short experience with it
The cream is white and thick, but feels lightweight on the skin. It’s very hydrating but not greasy. The first time I applied it to my face I felt a tingling, sensation on my face. At first, the tingling felt intense but it stopped after about 10 minutes. On the second day of using the cream, I noticed and my husband did as well that my skin looked brighter. That’s quite a rapid response and very impressive.

The packaging is cool in a vintage kind of way.
The jar is a purple plastic and it has a metal screw top. I don’t like the packaging because I prefer products that come in a tube or a bottle with a pump. I do use a spatula to get this cream out.
One of my biggest fears when trying this cream out was that I would break out and I did yesterday. Not hectic , just a few new friends on my face.
I hope it doesn’t get worse. I believe though that when one uses a new product, ones skin usually reacts with a spot or two. However, I will ride it out and see what happens. The cream smells herbal, I definitely got a whiff of eucalyptus and tea tree oil. I hate fragrance in skin care but this is something that isn’t overwhelming and you only smell it when you apply it on your face.
On the jar it claims that skin feels intensely hydrated (yes), texture looks refined and pores are less visible (haven’t seen that yet) revealing a fresh, healthy youthful-looking radiance . . . ( my hubby and I have seen the radiance).
