This used to be my fav before I tried the Nivea aerosol which i changed to. However this does not take away from the fact that the Shield spray is a realy good product that does exactly what it says it does. It has a very pleasant smell as well which isn't overpowering and leaves a person feeling confident throughout the day.

I used the Shield even tone product for 7 days. I was very impressed it left my skin smooth and even. All the dark marks were gone. It allowed me to be confident in my skin. It smelled so good. People were asking me why I smell so good. It long lasting. I would recommend that everyone should try it.

I saw an advert on television for this product and decided I should try it :)
First impressions were that the bottle looked nice, with hints of pink and purple. The fragrance was nice, fresh and clean, almost floral, but just a subtle 'feminine' smell. Once applied the smell is quite strong, and definitely lasts a nice stretch of time. I wouldn't say it lasts 48H, but it stays on well, during a full 8 hour working day*
You can definitely smell the bursts of freshness when there's movement under the arms, which makes you feel less concerned and more confident :)

I have to say that on this product or should I say deodorants in general I have done and tested an extensive range because i'm one of the lucky ones that struggle with not smelling that fresh very quick.
In all my tests and trails I have to say that Shield ended in the top 2 in keeping you smelling fresher for longer. It was gentle on the skin and it kept me fresh. I would not say for 48h, I think the thing that would keep me fresh for that long still have to be developed ;-), but it hold to its promise the longest of them all.
And the smell is to die for, I'm just a sucker for a fresh out of the shower smell that lasts with you through the day.
This is one of my go-to sprays hands down!!

Shield is always me second choice when I can't find my first one. I love the smell of it and the fact that it doesn't take your breath away when you spray it.
I last quite long if your not to active, but activeness will defeat the deo.

Shield has always been my brand of deodorant and Just when I thought they couldn’t get any better – they did!
Shield really is long lasting against sweat and odour. Once applied in the morning it lasts throughout the whole day. Although I can’t say I’ve ever tested it for more than 12 hours max (that’s just a bit gross haha), they do promise 48 hour protection!
I don't particularly like the smell of the Fresh Confidence, just because I prefer my deodorant to be fragrance free and wear perfume instead. (The invisible is my favourite).
But if you do like fragrance deodorant, this one has a clean and fresh, slightly floral scent.
I definitely caught a wiff of the scent when I moved though which means the technology really does work!

This scent uplifts my mood and leaves me ready to conquer the day. The MotionSense formula responds directly to movement, providing all day freshness. The anti-perspirant is alcohol free.
I really love this anti-perspirant spray and I am going to purchase it time and time again. On application, it leaves me feeling fresh and ready to seize the day. I have really been experiencing the all day freshness. Since it is winter, I am going to continue purchasing this product to see how it holds up in the summer months. However, it has really impressed me during the strenuous sweaty challenges I have put it through so far. On application, it has a cooling effect and it does not irritate my sensitive underarms. I am definitely going to try out the other variants in the product range.

So, basically, this product will keep you smelling fresh no matter how much activity you engage in, operating as a normal deodorant when you’re having a quiet day at home, and turning into a super-machine when you’re out and about and climbing a mountain. How does this work? Well, those tiny little microcapsules contain all the freshness you need. When you move, the capsules pop open and the freshness is released. The more you move, the more popping capsules, the more freshness. Sure, the concept of sweating may be slightly awkward, but think of this as a perfume with extra oomph. Sound better already, right?
But does it work? Seems so! I’ve been using the product for a good three weeks, on lazy days indulging in epic Being Mary Jane marathons, leisurely days walking along the promenade, and crazy hectic days when I’m at the office and quickly making my way to school after work. And it’s not let me down yet! Sure, I haven’t tried running up Table Mountain with it, but I’m not really the girl to do that anyway, so maybe one of you can try and let me know how it turned out. Sweat-wise, I mean.

So i have been using my Sheild for about 3 weeks now. As someone who has sensitive skin i struggle to find product i do not react to. This didn't have me itching so that was a good start. I must say when they say all day freshness they mean it! I will def recommend it and purchase it. Im sold on this product!!!!

Over the last 3 weeks I have been using the Shield Motion Sense Deodorant and REALLY putting it to the test. I am a runner and I do Sweat1000 classes where you can imagine how much you sweat and smell.
I was so surprised that after each workout I smelt great and fresh like I was wearing a fragrance. It gave me confidence to push myself harder and not be insecure if I start to smell.
This is a definite must have for all women. Even being a mom running around after your kids I don't have to worry as Shield keeps me covered all day :)

I got the deodrant spray and wasnt a fan of it.I havent used spray in years,only perfume and found the spray too coldand the scent was too sweet.I only used it for three days,butI think it worked,but the smellwas too much for me.

Basically this aerosal was designed to respond to your direct movement. And it lives up to its name! But you have to apply it correctly, follow the directions.
I love working out and jogging, so this has really helped to stay dry, throughout my workout/ jogging session. It leaves me feeling fresh and smelling all pink. Like there is not even necessary to hit the shower immediately after your work out, no funny body odour, you can do that shopping trip after a workout session.

I put the Shield MotionSense roll-on to the test. The Shield MotionSense Roll-on's and deodorant are different to others as it has smart technology. It contains unique microcapsules that have fragrance locked inside which is activated by movement. So every time you move freshness is released keeping you smelling great throughout the day. This deodorant is perfect for when you are constantly on the go whether it is walking, exercising and stretching. It provides 48 hours protection so no more embarrassing moments after a long day of work or an intense workout, you can still stretch those arms without having to worry about knocking people out with your bad odor ?.
At first I was a little scared to use this roll-on as I have very sensitive skin and break out in rashes when applying a scented product but I really wanted to try this roll on ever since I've seen the advertisements. To my surprise I did not break into any rashes YAY? The roll on has a very fresh floral smell and really does keep you dry for 48 hours! Every time I moved I could actually smell the release of fragrance, it kept me dry throughout the day and kept me smelling great. What I liked most about this roll-on besides the fact that it kept me dry and fresh is that it dries on quick when applied, does not leave any residue, it does not have that sticky/wet feeling when you are active and you don't have to re-apply it throughout the day. The Shield Motion sense aerosol is litteraly with you all the way, whether you're sitting and just move an inch or when you're on the move doing any extreme sport. Even the most little move you make you can smell the scent that the Shield Motionsense aerosol gives off. I'm one person who walks swiftly every day around the hospital premises and am in close contact with my clients because of my job. So having applied this product in the morning always keeps me feeling confident throughout the day. They say it has motionsense microparticles that release a burst of freshness on every movent, and that I can second.
We all have our own ideo-synchrosis, right?, and I must say that for me at times the scent can be very over powering, especially in the morning. I could appreciate a more lighter or suttle scent that's not so distinct. The powdery like scent is just not for me. I wonder if it comes in a range of scents. Besides that it's Shield all the way!

I love using this in tandem with the SHIELD MotionSense™ Fresh Confidence Roll-On as it's the perfect partnership for staying fresh all day.
This deodorant literally lasts the whole day when used with the Roll-On and you smell it at different times of the day the more you move. It has a fresh, crisp scent and doesn't disappear after an hour, like so many aerosol deodorants.
I carry this with me but I've honestly found no need for touch ups throughout the day as this is so long-lasting. A product I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a deodorant you can fully rely on!

During the day I don’t stop moving. My coaching job at school requires continuous active involvement with kids and teens, and those we all know have unlimited amounts of energy. To understand my review one needs to understand my lifestyle. I shower at night and put on my Shield MotionSense (the roll on), I go to bed and when I wake up its a mad rush to get kids fed, dressed, lunch packed,& to school. I park once, drop daughter at school, walk to gym, do weights and cardio (sometimes SWEAT1000!!!). I then have a coffee (& healthy snack) and walk straight to work, until school collect time. I only generally get to shower early evening again, so I need a deo that WORKS!! I can highly recommend you #MovewithShield I love it and it works for my lifestyle

I got to try the world’s first anti-perspirant with unique microcapsules that pops with movement! After having a few doubts, I am now a firm believer that this MotionSense roll-on actually works. The BB team sent me the fresh confidence roll-on to try. I must confess, the first few days(about to or three) using Shield’s MotionSense I looked around to see where that absolutely amazingly fresh smell comes from, only to realise “I’ve been so busy at work and because of this, activated the “capsules” and released so much freshness it’s as if I just stepped out of a bath. I have been using the product for a little more than a week now and I am very impressed. This roll-on keeps me fresh all day long, living up to its 48hour protection promise, giving me confidence to move around and exercise…an excellent combination of beauty and fitness! This deodorant dries up very quickly after application and does not have that sticky feeling under my arms, a definite plus! Shields MotionSense is pretty awesome, offering great protection and is reasonably priced!

Shield Motion Sense has opened my eyes to aerosols.

We grow when we push ourselves past our comfort zone, this is the space where the magic happens, but let’s be honest - embarrassing sweat stains and body odor are the last thing we need to be worrying about when we are doing the things that make our heart beat a little faster. Whether you are working out, throwing your hands up to your favorite DJ, killing a presentation or getting closer to THAT person; feeling and looking confident makes us feel good.
What makes this product different? Shield Motionsense has a unique smart fragrance system which releases micro-capsules that are activated by movement, moisture and temperature which keep you smelling fresh throughout the day - basically the more you move, or the hotter you get the more fragrance is released.
What I love about this product is that the fragrance is fresh and subtle. I feel confident wearing it on its own, but it also blends well with perfume, so I can wear my favorite scent without feeling like I have been marinating in deodorant for a week! The packaging is clean and functional, it has an easy grip bottle and a quality nozzle which distributes the product evenly. The drying time is just a few seconds, and it doesn’t stain clothing.
Putting it to the test:
Realizing that the quickest way to see if this product delivers would be to work up a sweat; I put on my running shoes and hit the road.
The verdict:
The staying power of the fragrance was impressive and it smelt much the same as when I applied it 3 hours prior.
It didn’t stop me from perspiring completely (it would be totally creepy if it did!) but there was definitely less perspiration where I had applied it.
I am not nearly as fit as I thought I was.
Would I recommend it? Yes. As far as anti-perspirants go, this is a good one. It does contain mostly synthetic ingredients, so if natural products are important to you this will be a downfall. Having said that, I would be much more likely to grab this off the shelf than most other products - it has been formulated for sensitive skin and the gentle fragrance really sets it apart. It is an innovative product and the patented technology is not only super cool and reasonably priced (R28.99), but it also delivers on functionality, and that is important, because confidence is important.

I have to confess, I usually do not buy aerosols. I am not sure why, but a roll on or a stick just seems to make more sense to me and seemed to be more effective. I absolutely adore the SHIELD CLINICAL PROTECTION CREAM DEODORANT. It is THE absolute best deodorant I have EVER tried, but at R70 a pop, it's just not something I can afford to always buy. I usually splurge on it in summer when it's heavy duty effectiveness is really needed .
Anyhow, I digress, Shield MotionSense Aerosol.... I actually might have found my 2nd best deodarant. At first I was quite sceptical about Shield MotionSense's effectiveness but I have been proven wrong.
It works. As simple as that!
It keeps you dry and fresh for a much longer time than you need.... I cannot vouch for the 48hr part but can say that it works for at least 20hrs! Which is way more than you usually need. I am not a gym/exercise/running-when-no-one-is-chasing-me kind of gal and so also cannot vouch for it's effectiveness there. But for normal day to day activities, it's pretty damn amazing.
I, however, have one 2 con's on the product I received...
1. I don't like the smell of the "Fresh Confidence"
I don't hate it but I am really really not a fan of 'powdery' smells. I won't buy this fragrance again. But as there are other fragrances available, I will definitely give them a go.

I had been seeing the TV ads about the fact that it keeps you fresh and responds to movement, I remember thinking yeah right, how is that possible? I have used other Shield rollons before and I have always had to use an anti-perspirant spray to make sure that at least I smelled fresh most of the day. Incases where I had forgotten to use the spray I would start smelling the sweat by the afternoon. Since I have been using Shield Motionsense I don't have to use the anti-perspirant spray and I have been able to go to my dance class and still feel fresh. I am very impressed with the product and have already bought one to use next.
I also like the packaging - the Clear bottle - the fact that you can see how much is left in the bottle.

Shield with motionsense responds directly to movement, providing you with all day freshness. Best protection ever. I wiped off the residual deodorant and went on with my day. I have since learnt that I do not have to spray so much (hence the white streaks) for it to work its magic.
It has been a week and so far I have been equally happy with the Sure Dry and Fresh Confidence aerosols. They spray on dry and keep me feeling fresh for hours, whether exercising or seeing me through my day.

I've been using the Shield MotionSense™ Fresh Confidence Anti-perspirant aerosol for about a week now and I am pleased with how well it keeps to its promise of long-lasting freshness. The new technology of microcapsules that burst open to keep you smelling good when you're in motion is impressive! The scent is very feminine, so if you are into powdery, floral fragrances then you should try out the Fresh Confidence variant.
I also appreciate that the anti-perspirant offers invisible dryness, so none of those white stains on your clothes and it applies dry and stays dry under normal activity. I experienced a bit of dampness when exercising, as can be expected, but as soon I cooled down, my underarms felt dry and smelled quite fresh.

This product is my everday go to deoderant. The Shower Fresh variant is my favourite because it doesn't have an over powering floral scent. It smells clean and is a BO banisher. It doesn't stain your white clothing. Now they have upped the price, since rebranding the product. I usually buy 10 at a time when on sale or 3for2 making it more affordable. I also know of guys who prefers the shower fresh ladies variant over the male antiperspirants. Its non irritating as well and agreed to my very sensitive skin.

When I received the package, I was surprised to see the aerosol rather than the roll-on as that is what I usually use. To my surprise, I have come to really like the spray over my usual roll-on as it doesn't leave a wet feeling under my arms and the smell is oh so fresh!
I found that it kept me dry all day and late into the evenings on days when I would get home rather late from work. What was also really great is that it doesn't leave a white residue on my dark clothing like some other deodorants do.
I am really enjoying this product and would recommend it to other active women such as myself!

As someone that suffers from excessive underarm sweating (self-diagnosed as localised hyperhidrosis), the Shield MotionSense spray came as a very critical time for me as I was about to write my exams. Now we all know that exam stress, or any kind of stress for that matter, can leave you with sweaty and sometimes sticky armpits, for a lady my age, THAT is not an option.
I absolutely loved the smell of the Fresh Confidence variant that I received. It was fresh, and also very feminine. Unlike some deodorant sprays, spraying it directly onto my skin, I felt no sting or burn, which was a plus for me as I shave my underarms regularly. There was no agony of a burning sensation of spraying after a clean shave - big PLUS for me.
The biggest test came when I went on a girl's night out. I applied a roll-on version of the deodorant, let it dry, and then sprayed generously with the aerosol spray. After 3 hours of mingling, dancing, hugging and the lot, trust me, my armpits were as dry as I had just applied the deodorant. Yes my face and parts of my body were sweaty, but my underarms were noticeably drier.
There's also that white ring that one normally gets after sweating, that sometimes threatens to run down your upper arm, which is veeeeeeery unsightly. Now with Shield Motion-sense, there was absolutely none of that!! If anything, I kept doing random secret checks to see if the white ring was there. After hours of dancing, there was absolutely none of that! None whatsoever!
All in all, for the price that this comes in, it's a gem! I've since bought myself another bottle and don't see myself going back to any other deodorant (anti-pespirant) spray. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give this one a 20! Yes, a 20!

I got my fresh confidence back after trying out this product. I just started a fitness program this winter . Before using this deodorant I was very uncomfortable with the sweat smell after doing my aerobics but now I have no worries in the world about the sweat smell as well as being around people after each workout. Thanks to Shield I am impressed with this product. The fact that I smell fresher every time I move is a bonus for me.

I have always used roll -on deodorant, reason being that aerosols sting after a few uses and left me with itchy and red underarms. And roll-ons always leave you sticky for a while and one has to wait a few minutes before getting dressed!
I was quite hesitant to use the new Shield aerosol till I saw that it contained 0% alcohol. Let me tell you, I loved this aerosol from the 1st time I used it and it is sooo effective. It dries immediately and not once do you need to worry about smelly underarms! This product had converted me and it will be my go-to deodorant from now on.

I've used the SHIELD MotionSense Fresh Confidence Anti-perspirant Aerosol for over two weeks. I am not new to this brand, I’ve practically grown up on Shield roll-on deodorants. Since roll-ons are wet in nature and waiting for my underarms to dry is a drag, I have gone off them and opted for stick deodorant which I used full-time and kept aerosol underarm sprays in my bag for “just in case”. So, using the SHIELD MotionSense™ Fresh Confidence Anti-perspirant Aerosol as my full-time Anti-persipirant had me nervous and curious at the same time.
SHIELD Motionsense is advertised as “the world’s 1st anti-perspirant with unique microcapsules activated by movement”. A ”revolutionary new ‘body-responsive’ anti-perspirant contains cutting-edge tiny microcapsules that burst when activated by friction, releasing freshness as you move. The more you move, the more it works”.
When I first used the Fresh Confidence Anti-perspirant Aerosol I could see the microcapsules they referred to, thank to my fuzz. I actually liked the powdery feel and scent of the deodorant. I can’t stand cold and wet underarms. The packaging is easy on the eye, its shape and the rubbery spray nozzle also makes it practically easy to use.
About the 48 hour protection bit, well that is a bit of stretch. It honestly did not happen for me. During my frantic moments at work, running errands or driving in crazy traffic I could feel the heat and sweat on my underarms. The great part is that I could smell the subtle sweet scent of the SHIELD MotionSense™ Fresh Confidence Anti-perspirant Aerosol during those time, not sweat, and my black tops were not left with white residue at the end of the day, thank goodness.

My initial reason for having stuck to my deodorant is because it protects my clothing from underarm stains, Black and White.
Having tried Shield MotionSense felt like a breeze, in the truest sense. I often worry about smelling foul during and after exercise and this kept me smelling rather fresh throughout. I love the faint, girly scent. It also left no marks on my clothing, I wear black all the time. It dries very quickly, some aerosol deodorants need to be aired a bit, they can be slightly runny. Shield MotionSense, was like "air" yet effective. I am definitely switching.

I attended a 2 hour Zumba Lumo party. We had an absolute blast and needless to say that we were extremely sweaty after that!
But my #ShieldMotionSenseFreshConfidence bust the odour that should have been there!

I work with radio stations we share microphones meaning sitting close to each other. I love how the motion sense tech works. The fragrance has built confidence to me because i know that each movement is accompanied by a fresh smell.
The smell is subtle and everlasting, i havent experienced any sensitivity- ive been using shield for a week now.
I like the rubber like head on the nozzle it is different and adds value to packaging. The fragrance last longer and it is quite affordable. Im definitely changing from a spray ive been loyal to for almost 2 years to Shield morionsense deodorant.
