Okay tis definitely not a foundation, don't be tricked by the colour of this product. My initial impression of this product was the pink & silver packaging, that's petit enough to be carried in my make-up bag. Just like most ladies have said that it is easy to use; no spilling! Just press for the amount required & "viola." Soft is not the word to use as to how it feels on the skin, but rather silky. It's day one for me and I'm yet to see the results. It looks promising but let's wait n see.
I finally got my BB Cream, so the first thing I did was to smell it :)...So the smell attracted me. I've got the chocolate color. I was a bit scared at first because I thought maybe it was going to make look otherwise, but because this is an all in one, I couldn't even notice if I've got it on. However, I've got it on now, and my skin feel a bit only, but I'm not complaining because its winter and normally around this time of the year, my skin gets dry. I love this cream, its the best thing Pond's has ever done, and because I use Pond's Flawless Range, I saw that this product works the best when you've got the whole range...I really cant wait to see the results :)
i got tired of waiting for my free BB cream so last week Saturday i decided to get it. went to clicks and got the cream. i wanted to know what the rave was all about.
it's well priced and in terms of spills you don't need to worry about that. it fits in my bag. coverage is great and feels and looks like a second skin naturally.

I finally got my Pond's BB Cream. I have an oily to combination skin, so I wasn't sure if the BB Cream was suitable for my skin because anything with an SPF makes my face look and feel even oilier. The color, Chocolate also gave me a doubt because it looked a little more darker because I'm light in complexion. I gave it a try, and all I could say was WOW. It controlled the oil on my face and gave my skin an amazing luminous glow. It blended with my skin tone perfectly and covered all the imperfections on my face, with just a small amount. The packaging, the texture, the scent and the weight (featherweight) of the cream on my face it's just amazing. I'm so loving it. Thanx Pond's for an amazing cream and special thanx to BEAUTY BULLETIN for selecting me to be one of the product reviewers, it a great experience. I'm enjoying it.
I really love the look of the packaging, I like the cream because it makes me look really natural and my face is not heavy with make up. The SPF 30 is what makes it a good produt to use. I think in summer i will have to use it with a powder because when i walk in the sun my skin becomes oily. i will definatly buy the product.
I finally received my Ponds BB Cream: Chocolate. Lovely packaging and easy to use. The cream blends well and I would prefer to use it instead of foundation as i can feel my skin breathing when i have it on.however it does not offer much cover as promised. Though i love how it feels on my skin. its not creasy. i loved the fact that it has a SPF +30. it feels great on my skin.I will keep on using it and update you my peeps.
The packaging is pretty, the product has a very pleasant smell (which is great) and it looks pretty on my dressing table. When my 25ml freebie is finished, I’ll be stopping by my local Clicks or Dischem to pick up some more. (I’m using the shade in Chocolate)
I finally got to try out the Ponds BB cream. it was not my first time trying out a BB. But i feel like they promise too much and did not necessarily deliver on all aspects. i like the BB cream. i love how it provides the extra layer to my skin and i appreciate the fact that it has a sunscreen. but i am not convinced about the coverage. maybe i did not apply enough but i am not willing to apply more that i am otherwise i will go abit darker than i am. I would highly recommend the cream to those who are starting out in their beauty routine. it is has a beautiful texture and makes skin soft. as for coverage... i am not too sure though. i will definitely give it more time and see what it can do over time.
I haven't tried out as yet but my teenager daughter of 16 uses it and she looks gorgeous and recommended all her friends to use it.I cannot wait to try Pond's BB cream.
I received a free tube of this BB cream from beauty bulletin... Unfortunately I received a tube of the chocolate and I'm fairly pale (but not quite beige either).
My mother however is an extremely loyal Pond's user and the chocolate was a great match for her colour.
She's been using it for about a week and so far we're quite happy with the product. It applies smooth and easy. It blends really well and is a perfect match for her skin colour. It doesn't feel heavy to her (she does not generally wear makeup), but I find it a bit thick. She has reported that it does tend to make her a little shiny (she has very oily skin).
It's a great product so far for moisturising and works much like a tinted moisturiser. I do wish they had a medium shade like Garnier does as the beige is too light and the chocolate too dark and I would rather not buy two products. While it's not a bad product I do prefer the Garnier one to this.
Love the new BB cream, love the luminous glow it gives to my skin. It has great coverage and does not make my hands dirty i.e no muddy residue. It has a great smell and wonderful texture.Its absorbed fast and does not leave me with an oily face. Love it!
lovely foundation for poeple that just require minimum coverage. blends in perfectly with my skin tone and what I love the most about is that it does not make my eyes water. However you do need to touch up during the day. overall a good product for people with good, uncomplicated sk
This product definitely lives up to all the hype.Has a beautiful texture, blends easily and the fact that it doesn't stain is an added bonus.For those with dark marks like my, it won't completely replace your foundation though as coverage is only medium.Works perfectly as a primer, make-up stays put,no streaks no oiliness, no shine all day long.Pond's just might have won me over!
I loved the bold new packaging and design of the cream, it was light and I could easily carry it around in my hand bag without adding any extra weight, there were no spills of the cream or cracks on the packaging. The tube was flexible and I could easily squeeze the cream out.
I tried out the Chocolate Pond’s BB Cream for five days now and the results are incredible. The BB cream left my skin moisturised and has a clean refreshing smell. The cream blended in well with my skin tone and stopped my nose from being oily throughout the course of the day. The BB cream left my skin with a smooth and silky soft touch. Another factor which I absolutely loved about the cream is that it was instantly soaked up by my skin, left no traces of residue and has a non-greasy feel to it.
I highly recommend this product for all African ladies!
finally i picked up my parcel from the post office, I was a bit skeptical especially about the colour but the minute i had it on my skin it looked great, like the chocolate just dissapeared. i usually have a shiny but dry feeling but with the BB Cream my skin feels great. it's for keeps *wink*
This BB cream has an extreme amount of durability. It sticks to the skin so beautifully without making your skin feel like its wrapped in cling wrap, it lasts the whole day without sweating off or going cakey and it provides endless moisture! Definitely a change from other BB reams I have tried.
There is a reasonable SPF of 30 in each tube which will protect you from harmful UV rays. However, this does not give you permission to doll yourself up and attend a pool party where you lie in the sun all day. You still need to be sun-smart!
The PONDS BB cream retails for about 80 something rand for a 25ml tube. I thought this was quite affordable seeing at most other BB creams on the shelves retail for about the same price. I dug a bit further and saw that the other BB brands have 50ml tubes meaning PONDS charges the same price but gives you 50% less. Very sneaky.
Due to the higher quality, you apply a lot less product for the same effect so this price per ml thing is just being really picky but definitely something to consider when browsing for your BB cream.
This BB cream worked way better with my skin than others I have tried (namely Garnier's BB cream) and I would love to repurchase it in the future
Day 3 of my Ponds BB Cream.From the 1st day I applied it my skin felt lighter ,like it was breathing almost .That's the biggest plus for me because some foundations tend to clog up your pores .There is a certain glow to my face also .This is the first time that I see and feel results so soon after changing to a new facial product . I have uneven skin tone which meant I had to apply a lot of foundation before but with this BB Cream I dont need to apply a lot and my face immediately looks well blended . I have been using the Ponds BB cream for the past 5 days and i have to say it does work as i have dark marks and uneven skin tone but i have to say the marks are fading and the skin feels soft.I am also happy with the fact that it does not even dry my skin i love this product.Im happy definetly i will be buying this as it last longer and it feels smooth and it does not fade a bonus its that its not greasy
So today I finally picked up my package from the post office. First of all the fact that it comes in tube is a plus. The packaging is so beautiful and the pink and silver gives it an 'expensive look' like the Clinique etc...
I was excited and curious to test it and see how it will score against the other BB creams that I already use. I usually use my fingers to apply foundation and liquid make-up. The cream scored a 10/10 for not leaving any colour residue on my fingers like the other BB creams does. It melted in my skin and covers the dark spots on my cheeks.
No matter how much you put on it still leaves your appearance natural yet you look like you have a foundation on.
I love the silkness feeling on your skin, its not creamy or oily it feels very light. i wore it with a little bit of moisutizer underneath still it felt very light and my skin was nice and moisture not oil at all. i wore it again without the moisturizer and it felt little bit tight on my chicks i think it's b'coz of the weather i have a combination skin. the only problem i hade is that it is darker than my skin tone. overall thumbs up.
The Pond's BB cream comes in 2 shades - Chocolate and Beige. The Chocolate shade is specially formulated in Durban for the South African market to suit true African skin tones - something South Africa should be very proud of.
The Beige shade is the one I will discuss as it is what I use for my skin. It is a little too dark for my skin, but when applied using a foundation brush I am able to blend it in nicely with my skin tone. The BB cream is silicon based which means that it makes your skin feel incredibly smooth and acts as the perfect primer for your makeup. During the day the silcon evapourates leaving behind the optics in the BB cream and this creates a light wearing, beautiful product. I have been using this for just over a week now and have started to notice certain inconsistencies in my face appear to be less noticeable and am definitely thrilled about that.
A lot of people have complained about the R89 pricetag for only 25ml, but few seem to realise that this BB Cream has an SPF of 30. In my experience, as soon as a product has a decent SPF in it the price goes up. Most skin care products have an SPF of only 15 so this BB cream is absolutely perfect for our climate and is a must - even in winter. Many people don't bother to apply sunscreen when we always should.
Overall I am incredibly impressed with this product, I haven't gone into all of the scientific explanations because I have tried to keep this review short and to the point.
Just a note: BB cream is not meant to be a replacement for your foundation or moisturiser - it is meant to compliment your current routine. It should be applied after you moisurise.
I finally got the ponds BB cream and i tried i have to say i was a bit sceptical as i have dry/combinational skin,however i have to say it is good my skin feels soft and supple its not flaking and its not shining or greasy.I love the feel its not drying my face which is good as a was worried abt skin dryness as it winter.So far so good
So today I finally tried the BB cream. this is my first time using a BB cream, I'm so used to putting foundation on. I tried it this morning after my routine and I love the smell(was hoping it would even smell chocolaty lol).
It just absorbed so nicely on my skin and guess what? My hands weren't even dirty. I was hoping it would be a little thicker but ey, it matched my complection. The product was nicely moisturised. So far I like the product.

So far I've been using the product for almost a week now and yes this BB Cream is amazing. The BB Cream gives me a natural yet flawless look with an amazing dewy but fresh look. So this BB Cream turns out a little pricey because R89 for only 25ml of BB Cream which means digging deeper in your pockets. However this BB Cream is unique and works from the inside to solve uneven skin tone and imperfections. Overall I would recommend you give this product a try because the product blends in flawlessly and looks simply amazing.
I’ve never really been too keen on BB Creams. In fact, I am terribly fussy about any product I use on my face. But, after trying out the new POND'S Flawless Radiance BB Cream in Chocolate, I understand the hype about BB Creams.
What I really loved about this product was the fact that it was so light and blended into my skin perfectly. It made my skin look fresh and luminous, and it didn’t leave any residue or leave my skin feeling oily. Also, it has the most amazing, invigorating smell!
I did, however, find that it didn’t give me that instant colour coverage that I really wanted. So, I wouldn’t exactly agree that this BB Cream was expertly designed for African skin. The BB Cream was dark and chocolatey out of the tube, as expected, but very transparent once it was smoothed into my skin. This isn’t a bad quality though. It just means that this BB Cream will suit just about every skin tone. What could be better than that?
With regards to evening my skin tone and reducing dark marks, I have yet to find out. Other than that, I am very satisfied with this BB Cream, and would recommend this all-in-one GenActiv™ COVER formula and SPF 30 advanced sunscreen protection skin care solution to all BB Cream addicts.
