So I finally got my BB cream in the post (took long enough) and I have to say I was pleasently surprised. I am a Pond's princess and have been for years so when this came around I was more than chuffed that I could only use the Pond's range without tainting like I was with the Garnier BB cream. I like the Garnier, its works fine, but it clearly has white pigments which eventually look ashy. The Pond's on the other hand, in Choc, has none. So it went on smooth and looked totally natural. It blended perfectly and left no oily sheen which is a bonus since I am made of sebum.
I have been using it for a few days now and I am really happy. I think I will have to be sticking to it. I prefer it over foundations anyway!
All in all, I am happy with the overall feel, look and smell of the Pond's BB Cream.
This is the 2nd week am still using the PONDS BB Cream every morning. Most of my dark marks have faded and am loving the feeling I get when I apply the cream,the softness, smoothness,the texture, the colour all are perfect for my skin. It si moderate and doe snot leave em skin too oily or too dry therefore I am able to apply my make up on top without a problem. I has really blended well with my skin tone and I have decided to continue on using this product. I am quite impressed with the results. Thank you beauty bulletin!!!!
Started using the BB Cream on the 5th May 2013. To date I have matte and even looking skin. The light application of the cream covers my blemishes and somehow gives me this radiant glow. It looks natural, easy to apply and small enough to put in my bag for when I'm moving from office to dinner meeting. It even covers my scars/open pores from acne. I'm really impressed with the product and will definitely continue using it. Who needs 3 different products when you can get all thier benefits in one tube? Definitely worth the retail price.
I've been using the BB cream for five days and I'm very happy with the results. It blends perfectly without give your skin the grey shade that ponds creams are known for.
Day 8 is almost over and I'm still happy, no complains, although this pimple is still there :(....I saw this morning that my cheeks are getting somewhere, they are different, lol....My skin is softer, the best feeling about this cream is that it blends so nicely with my skin and its so quick to use, Wow Im impressed. I was excited to try this product, if only to see if I was better than the Garnier BB Cream, which I truly adore.
It isnt. The coverage is minimal to none. While I understand that the coverage for BB Cream is not much, I feel that the Pond's BB Cream is more moisturiser and hardly any tint at all. My skin looked the exact same after applying the product, even if it did feel well-moisturised. Another pro is that it was not heavy or cakey on my skin.
I would not buy this again. It needs to be more tinted so that it DOES something in terms of coverage. the Garnier BB Cream remains my favourite at this point.
Let me start by saying I've been wearing this everyday for the past 10 days. Firstly I really liked the texture as is it thicker and a bit creamier than most of it's counterparts. I've been using the Chocolate coloured one and i have to say it doesn't do much as a moisturiser although you can really see the difference in tone as it evens the skin so minor imperfections are hidden.
It gives matte and medium coverage, so with my combination-to-dry skin it tightened and dried my skin terribly as it made all my blemishes visible. therefore unlike your usual greasy BB creams - this one I had to use a moisturizer to blend it in and that made huge difference. When I applied it with a moisturizer it smoothed onto my skin really well and keeps matte so no getting greasy during the day.
with this product i found that i had use a concealer for my blemishes and a moisturizer either to blend it or before applying it. But with that being said it is a good product and would work for a lot of skin types. I would recommend it to anybody although it may be a bit problematic if you have dry skin or blemishes.
i believe foundations are designed to cover dark facial spot n blemishes amongst other things, the main point is to make us girls feel good and confident when approaching the public eye. i however, have never used it before, so on trying out the new pond's BB i was kind of scared of how i would look, when i finally used it, it gave me numerous surprises but the very first was "what!!!, it really blends in with my skin" i then smiled. later that day i met up with a friend and she complimented my skin(face) so now i was even more confident. i tried using it daily there after and it gave me good results everyday and today was my day 5 and i have noticed that the dark spots around my eyes are starting to get lighter without even using the cream. it is really working for me and i have not discovered any complication so far. i will definitely get myself a new one. it is a must have piece of make up for girls.
This is a great product for us dark skinned sisters. I love the smoothness on the product on my skin and the fact that its not oil because I have oily skin. I love the fact that its not like a vanishing cream that leaves you looking pale and white as if you have just powdered your face. it covers my marks and I can see a difference within 3 weeks of using it! LOVE IT !!! ill definitely be buying this ponds product!
i've been using the pond's bb cream in chocolate for 5 days now. the cream gives light coverage which is perfect for my mostly blemish-free skin. sadly (for me) as great as it looks on and as silky as it feels, the finish does not stay natural long enough for my lifestyle. if i was the go-powder-my-nose-every-hour type of girl i would be thrilled with this product, but unfortunately i'm not that type of girl. i'm more the put-it-on-in-the-morning-and-forget-about-it-till-lunchtime type of girl. the bb cream had my face shiny long before lunch and since i'm not trying to look like an oil slick i have to continuously blot and/or apply powder to keep the finish looking natural - which is NOT ideal for my job/lifestyle. it's still great for evening wear if you're having a quiet dinner but if you're going dancing under bright lights i'd suggest using a light dusting of your favourite powder over it. all in all, great product with a good finish, just not the best for MY skin type due to the fact that my face starts showing oiliness too quickly.
This was my first introduction to BB creams. And I totally love the idea. Besides the fact that the shade didn't match my skin tone wasn't a train smash. I still tried it :). The fragrance is amazing and it doesn't feel all that bad on the skin. Doesn't feel harmful at all. It feels like u can feel the nourishment the product gives from the second u apply it. I loved the glowy effect it gives the skin.
It's light on the skin and again, did i mention how lovely it smells?
Day 7, still happy with my cream, I think I may have a rash though, not sure If its my Pond's, but I'll keep an eye. So far so good though! I'm still glowing, and I think I see the difference already, lol, or do I see what I want to see? I'm still happy with my BB, there is still that oily issue, but like I said, it will be fixed! my skin is glowing though :)

I started using Ponds BB 2 days ago, following my daily routine, cleansing , toning and applying ponds BB,. My skin looks polished and it covers the blemishes. Day 2 so far so good........
Yaaay, I'm on track now, today is day 6 :)....and this morning I suspected that my skin might be a bit bright(ish)and indeed, it is...one of my colleagues said I look different, lol, and I showed him the BB cream, it was fun...so Yes, I'm glowing! Still a bit oily, lol..lets do this Pond's...Woop Woop!!
Day five was on Sunday, I could not wait to wear my cream , I noticed something while I was driving to church, that my nose got a lot oilier because I was facing the sun's direction, but I used a small amount of the cream and wow, it covered the whole oiliness..I'm so hooked on this BB, its the best! I love it!
My day 4 was on Sat, so I had no internet :(.....but happy to share with you bb, my skin was a bit better without the day cream, although I've this huge pimple now, but I'm sure it will go away, I'm still happy though!
I love the BB cream,i really do not like foundations,so this cream is the best for me.It makes my skin feel mousturised and fresh while covering the dark spots.My skin has been looking a lot youthful in the 8 days i have been using it.I also do not like products with strong smells,the BB cream smells wonderful,i love the smell.It lasts longer on my skin,so i do not have to keep applying.With this BB cream i am covered the whole day.It is really an All-in-One Cream
Its my first time to use a BB cream and my Ponds BB Cream couldnt have come at a better time as i have been expiriencing lots of breakouts on my face. I have been using it for 2weeks now and i must say teh results are amazing! it blends well with my skin, isnt messy like foundation and my spots are disappearing day by day! Im nt happy with the price though, R89 for 25ml! Ouch!
First of all I would like to thank the ladies at Beauty bulletin for giving me this opportunity. Not only does the Ponds flawless radiance BB cream work, it makes your skin silky soft and feels refreshed, I was a bit skeptical at first as I thought as other foundations, it would make my skin feel flaky and oily, yet again I was proven wrong, the cream does none of that, my face felt as if it was fresh and youthful. the cream is really easy to apply and I would definitely recommend this product to my friends. PONDS!! the way to go.... :)
I'm not a fan or devotee of PONDS products but being on trend meant I had to try their version of the famous BB Cream. I've been using their Beige coloured cream or a month now(not everyday) and am very impressed.
POND'S unfortunately only released 2 colours that work best for African skin tones, luckily the beige and chocolate fit into the Indian spectrum of tones as well. The packaging is the typical silver and glossy pink, somewhat expected from Ponds. This to me was dissapointing, especially since the Chocolate colour was formulated right here in South Africa! Some homage to the country would have been a nice idea and would've helped spark interest in proudly South African initiatives.
The exciting bit of the POND'S BB Cream is that it contains NO Titanium Oxide. This is the teeny culprit responsible for giving skin an ashy/grey look. The formula glides onto the face smoothly and blends seamlessly. With an SPF30 protection it also helps to protect skin- cover and protection in one product.
I wasnt happy with the price sitting at R90 for a 25ml tube, even more so when POND'S is synonomous with being the people's product. But with all the advancements Pond's is making to their beauty and skin-care line their fast becoming a luxury brand with a price tag to match.
Definitely is one of the better BB Creams I've tried and will be in my make-up bag for when I need matte looking, covered and protected skin. POND'S has once again cemented their status with South Africans in bringing out a product that suits us best :D
I was sceptical at first because I used products that left my skin feeling dry and uncomfortable. When I first tried the BB cream however I was amazingly surprised. It made my skin feel moisturised, soft and radiantly beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone with dry skin, because it is just amazing.
Due t renovations at the post office I got my BB cream pretty late. I must say I was a bit sceptical about the colour. I thought that it was like these foundations. But I'm extremely impressed by it. The way it blends in with my skin and how my skin is improving. Dark marks fading &my skin is glowing you'll be hearing from me very soon
love the pink and silver packaging. Initial reaction upon seeing the chocolate cream was: ''this is too dark for me!'' And then I checked the insert to see if it was foundation. Rubbed it into my skin and it blended well. I expected to see tide lines but there were none. It has that typical Ponds smell. And as with other Ponds products I've used it always feels as if I didn't put enough on so I then reapply more- it's that fast- absorbing! The 'glow' was there and the silky feeling- I kept stroking my cheek. It is day 5 of using this product and I don't see any difference in my blemishes but we'll see in another few days.
I still love this BB cream, goes on smooth and even on my skin, looks like skin but better.. Doesn't melt off of my oily skin, ZERO breakouts, ZERO transfer, leaves my skin with a beautiful glow.
On those days you want to look fresh and let your skin breathe and not look "made-up" this BB cream is the product for you.
This BB cream is formulated for African women and comes in two shades, Beige and Chocolate. I received a sample in Chocolate, which is unfortunately much too dark for me, especially in winter when I tend to get pale very easily. The shade is however perfect for my mother. When testing the product I noticed two things immediately, it rubs in very easily and it has a matte finish without being dry. It rubs really easily into my skin. When my mom tested it, the product blended really well into her skin and it looked completely natural. Like most of Pond's other products, you don't need to use a lot of the BB cream to get a good coverage. A little bit of product goes a long way.
Upon receiving my sample form the beauty bulletin, i have been using my bb cream for about two weeks now and i abolutely love it. It is light , non-oily and has mutiple benefits. I have not been wearing my usual make-up since i have received it. It gives my skin complete coverage mostly in the problem areas. i do not have perfect skin and certainly have blemishes to hide and this cream did just more than that, the blemishes have been fading bit by bit. As women sometimes we need a fast make up routine , and with the new bb cream you get that and more,giving you glowing and radiant skin. The color matched my skin perfectly. I hAve already recommended it to my girls.

I received my BB sample from beauty bulletin. It's been a week that I have been using it and I love it. I have a pimple problem which I thought I left behind in high school, also my skin changed from dry to oily the older I got. What I love about the BB cream that it is light, I expected to be quite heavy because of the coverage it gives you. The coverage is light and natural give you that glow, love how the colour matches my skin exactly. . My skin is starting to look brighter, I love this product so far.
I LOVE HAVING A FAST MAKE UP ROUTINE AND THIS BB CREAM HAS GIVEN ME JUST THAT. I LOBE THE CHOCOLATE TONE IT MATCHES MY COMPLEXION PERFECTLY. IT HAS A LOVEU TEXTURE THAT ALLOW ALL OUT EVEN APPLICATION. THE MATT FINISH JUST COMPLETES IT. I AM NOT BOG OM HEAVY MAKE UP SO THIS GIVES ME A POLISHED NATURAL LOOK. LOVE IT MWAAH
Okay day 3, which is today...I decided not to moisture and use the BB cream as the moisturizer, because I cant afford to have an oily face. Lets see how it works , but so far so good, my skin feels softer and radiant.
Day 2 was awesome, I'm getting use to the product now, still getting oilier, but during the day I apply it and it works better for me when I apply it twice a day.

The new Pond's BB cream is a must have in every lady's bag. For best results you can use it together with the Flawless Radiance range. We all have busy days and once applied in the morning and maybe you need a quick freshening up to do, you can touch up your face with some BB Cream for that extra glowing effect. One can still apply foundation on top of the BB Cream should you feel like it isn't enough (which I doubt will happen), what surprised me is that it doesn't fade away and doesn't need re-applying, doesn't block my pores AND the best ever was that my dark marks on the face and under my eyes started fading beautifully!
It is cost effective yet I think it comes in a very small tube.
I've have become a BB cream junkie as of late and the Ponds BB cream is the third I've tried from various brands. I think the best way to review this BB cream is to compare it to others in my collection. This BB cream has a much lighter texture and feel than the others. Once applied it feels like my own skin and not at all like foundation. It have a semi-matte finish, perfect for oily to combination skin and can be worn without powder. The coverage is minimal and it just gives me a hint of colour. I have to do a lot more concealing with this BB cream than with others but that being said this cream makes any make up applied over it go on so smoothly and beautifully. I would probably use this product to replace my moisturiser and primer and wear a foundation over it as I prefer more coverage. I havent worn this cream long enough to judge if the product was really evening out my skin as the colour is darker than my skin tone. I really wish this BB cream came in more colours because it really is a must have.
This product is absolutely amazing. I started using it on the 11th of May and today being the 16th of May I can tell there is a lot of difference, my dark marks are slowly fading away and am satisfied, my skin is so smooth and feels fresh all day. Great product it is!
the cream is great for our skin tone it really blends in. and with a bit of powder you are ready to go. no need for any heavy makeup. it works wonders. I recommend it.
when i first squeezed some of the pond's bb cream onto the back of my hand i was not impressed. the colour is not the deep rich brown i expected from the name, so upon application i expected it to leave a grey cast on my warm brown skin. how wrong i was! the bb cream absorbs so easily and seamlessly and feels smooth even on application. no hard rubbing necessary to blend the colour in, score! the cream is very light and has a very clean scent which is not at all overpowering; in fact it's barely there, which is another score in my book! the finish is natural and unlike most other bb creams created for dark skin, it has no orangey/red undertones which is another big win for pond's. so far i'm loving this cream. this only day 1, so i'll be updating later to share how it lasts through a normal workday, and again in a week so to report any breakouts - i hope there wont be any cos i'm really loving this product!
