Pond's BB Cream - Chocolate

Newest to my collection and am loving it.
This BB cream is a really lightweight formula which is perfect for those days when you want minimum make up on .
I have been using just this with concealer every now and then and it gives a gorgeous dewy finish.
Be careful not to use too much as it can leave you with yellow under tones.

I don't usually use BB Creams, this is the first one I purchased.

I'm using it in the color of Beige. I apply this to my blemishes before I apply foundation. I don't recommend applying too much as it left my skin with a yellow tone when I applied too much. I find that this really covers my blemishes and blends well with my foundation. It has an SPF of 30 and it doesn't dry out your skin or leave it feeling oily.

The tube has a volume of 25ml. Which is more than enough ( considering that you shouldn't use a lot ).

I've had this for about 7 months now and it hasn't even hit the halfway mark yet.

If you have blemish prone skin like me, I would recommend giving this a try.

I bought this and it does a lot if mileage with me post gym, weekends away! It really works well and because my skin is on the drier side i dont have to use a powder to set or mop up any shine! V reassuring that it has a high SPF 30 and lots of other ingredients to ensure flawless matte appearing skin! Photographs incredibly well as well! I'm almost finished with the tube i bought about six months ago and while I may stick with a bb cream with more moisturising benefit i think this is a great buy for normal to combination skin!

I am a huge fan of BB cream, the Ponds BB cream in beige blends perfectly with my skin tone and it has an SPF of 30! It's really lightweight and doesn't clog your pores, I really love how it gives me flawless looking skin with a healthy glow without oiliness.

I was quite disappointed with this product...the packaging is so attractive in pinkand silver and it smells great BUT when I put it on it made my skin way too matte and kinda looked chalky. I ddnt see any difference in my skin after 7 days. I think this BB cream will be great for those with very oily skin who want that matte finish.

I managed to svcore a free, reasonably sized sample of this at Dischem.
It looked interesting so I scooped it up.

I am not a huge fan on Ponds since the last time I used the skin care my face broke out tremendously I was a bit sceptical to try it out.

Nevertheless, the application of the cream, beige by the way, was fair and easy because it is very smooth.
I was not very impressed with the coverage; perhaps my skin coulour is too light or the cream colour is not suites to my complexion.

Anyway, I decided to leave the cream on anyway for the day just o get a feel for it and it really was not that bad.

Not something I would really consider buying or using again in the long term.

I finally decided to get in on the BB cream hype (yes I know I am a bit slow sometimes ;-). Here are my thoughts:

PRO'S:
1) SPF30++ to protect from UVA and UVB rays
2) Non-clogging
3) On special at Clicks at moment at R10.00 off (normal price R69.95).
4) Convenient small tube fits into handbag
5) Smell is light and fresh

CONS:
1) Not really suitable for dry skin. Somehow my dry skin feels even dryer after application.
2) As base, the coverage is minimal (yes I know it is not really suppose to cover, but cream is extremely thin).
3) Because cream is so thin, one tends to use more, so do not think the tiny 25ml tube is going to last very long.
4) I am not crazy about how it makes my skin feel and could not see that foundation applied easier because of it.
5) From the claims about evening out skin tone, I experienced NIKS, NADA, net mooi STUFF ALL ;-).

FINAL VERDICT: I usually like Pond's products, but will definitely shop around until I find a BB or CC cream more suitable to my skin. So overall, NOT IMPRESSED.

I really do prefer using BB Cream as a base for those day's when you just don't feel like having much makeup. For summer this is great as it does contain SPF which we ladies all want and need to protect our skin from these harmful summer rays, especially if you living in Cape Town.

I have only tried this pond's BB Cream as it's affordable and does the job.

I finally tried out the Ponds BB cream in beige and very happy with its smoothness and quality. i have used many other bb creams before, and i shall for sure be sticking to this one!

I found the tube smaller than what i expected but the product consistanty was great and easy to apply on the run. Feels very dewy so can be set be with finishing powder and plush for a a more polished look.

I am such a fan off BB Creams...I actually prefer them over foundation. And I am really wanting to try out POND'S BB Cream because their Gold Radiance range has been excellent for me. I will most certainly be purchasing this BB Cream and hopefully it will work well with the Gold Radiance products.

Makes me grey, and the sales consultant said you still have to wear moisturiser underneath it.

If you are looking for a light BB cream (in terms of consistency), with medium coverage, then this BB cream is for you!

So off I went rushing to try out the new BB cream by Ponds after all the hype of its release. What with BB creams being hailed as the new miracle creams so popular in the East, I was extremely excited to have one that's home bound. I must say very disappointed with the product. Only comes in two shades beige and chocolate. While the beige was not an option for my skin tone, the chocolate did nothing for my skin. It looked like I had a heavy sunscreen on. So no, sorry not for me. Perhaps, if Ponds couild look into extending the colour range?

I hated this. So much. Which makes me sad because I was SO excited to try it. So first, here are my stats: I have a fair skin, not really pale, but not tan. I have a bit of a yellow undertone.
So I tried the Beige shade of Pond's BB cream, and while it was nice and creamy, it left me looking like a Jerseylicious girl. It looked like I had dipped my face in self-tanner or something. It was just SO orange, I couldn't bear it. Had to wash it off immediately.
It's a pity that there isn't a wider variety of shades to choose from. I could have loved it.

This product I have had since it was released but haven’t used because I’ve used ponds before and I find it more targeted for oily skin so it is not as hydrating as I need for my dry skin. It has the same scent as the other flawless radiance products(citrus scent) I do like the fact that it has such a high SPF without making me look like a caste and the fact that it has color changing technology that adapts your skin tone. Also the benefits it offers of evening skin tone and fading dark spots is great. It gives a nice matt finish so no need for any powder.

I recieved my Pond's BB cream and immediately loved the packaging. It has lovely shiny and elegant packaging. I know if I had bought it myself, I would have been crying about the size, but I do admit that it is great for placing in the little make-up bag fo re-application later; Because re-apply you do.

Firstly, it is a lovely moisturiser and made my skin feel great, espescially since I have such a dry skin. I did not worry about the feeling all day.

Secondly, the product's coverage is minimal to none. I had to use powder to keep matte for the rest of the day. Once I had powder on, I found that there was much need for reapplication. I would not advise this for anyone with oily skin.

Unfortunately though, after some days my skin did not agree with the cream. I naturally have a sensitive skn and my eczema stated to show up, and so I had to stop. This is true for most of the Pond's products I have used in the past. I could not use any thing for a prolonged period so I never really see the effect of Pond's products.

I really wanted to like this one, but it doesnt deliver enough for me to go back, so I am more disappointed than thrilled.

I got a sample sachet of Pond's BB Cream, I tried it for the first time this morning, I think it was a bit too light so I blended it with my normal foundation, I'm pretty impressed with the results, it really left my skin flawless as I can still see my blemishes peak through when I use my normal foundation on its own, i like the way my skin feels and it dries quickly, unlike when I use my normal foundation on it's own, I will definately go out and purchase it, the correct shade for my skin tone. Beautiful product :)

I received my Ponds BB cream in Chocolate courtesy of Beauty Bulletin about three weeks ago and I was happy to receive a Pond's product and I was keen to try it. None the less I was not expecting any miracles. My million Randela question was, will it really work or am I gonna end up with clogged pores and breakouts?

I must admit that I have been sceptical of BB creams since the whole Beauty world touted them as the next best thing in make-up and skin care. I simply wrote them off as tinted moisturiser that has managed to captivate the beauty editors. So being sceptically-eager to finally find out, I started reading the Ponds package and saw the promises. The doubting Thomasina in me was curious to know if maybe, just maybe Ponds has beaten more that they can chew getting on the BB cream bandwagon. Was this indeed the package that has managed to package all the benefits of a moisturising day cream, even coverage of a foundation and the sun protection of an SPF cream?

My experience:

I love the texture of the Ponds Flawless Radiance BB, it’s smooth, creamy, light, glides on easy, water based thus non-greasy, adjusts according to one’s skin colour tone (this was on an African skin) and gets quickly absorbed by the skin. It gave my skin a lovely even tone and left it well moisturised. It left no smudges on my white collars, thanks to its effective absorption by the skin. The packaging is also just as impressive, sleek and modern. Its small size threw me off at first until I noticed that a little of the Ponds Flawless Radiance BB goes a long way, so a great value for money, no doubt. The sceptic in me has been silenced and I am a believer in BB creams, at least of the Ponds Flawless Radiance BB creams.

Finally….a facial cream I can call my favourite!!! All thanks to this amazing new Pond’s BB Cream….

It brightens my skin, provides the much needed SPF, gives me an even tone all while adding the required colour. The cream dries well, has a pleasant smell and feel on my face. I must commend it for working well with my dry skin as it provides sufficient moisturise in these Cape Town winter days.
This BB cream won my trust when more than one friend commented on the change on my skins appearance, one of my buddies further tried my BB cream and loved it on her skin, we then went to Clicks to purchase her a tube upon arrival we found the Pond's BB cream on promotion and it retailed at R89.99 which is a relatively affordable price for something so magical.

I Have been using the BB cream for a few weeks now. initially I did not expect much from the product but as the weeks went by it changed my mind.I'm not it was 100% effective but I did see some improvement after a few days. Overall it is a fair product and it smells lovely.

As someone who hardly wears makeup, I am especially wary of wearing foundation as I have very oily skin and am therefore prone to acne and acne scars. As a result, I didn't want the foundation to cause any outbreaks. I was also skeptical of the chocolate BB cream and thought it would be too dark for my skin. However, after applying it, it blended perfectly with my skin tone, although it didn't cover my acne scars. It also felt light on my skin. Sometimes I would forget that I was wearing it, scratch my face, look at my smudged fingertips and be like: "Oh yeah." I only had to retouch once during the day with powder. [I use powder to retouch so my face doesn't look like it was dipped in sunflower oil.] The product claims to reduce dark spots, but I am yet too see that as I have only been using it for about 2 weeks now. Overall, I definitely recommend it.

Has a silky soft feel and perfectly made for any type of African skin. Gives the perfect illusion of an evened out complexion. From the time it touches your skin it makes the skin feel lovely. I was first a bit concerned as to wether the choclate tone would be too dark, but infact it was just right and blended into the skin perfectly. And what I love the most: it not only covers up light imperfections it also work on evening out your skin tone and giving you that flawless radiance that POND'S aims to achieve.Perfect for also using beneath a powder foundation instead of a normal Moisturizer, gives the face a lovely glowing matte look. Quick and easy. Just apply and you are ready to hit the road. Awesome product, you gotta love it! A definite must have from the avid Beauty queen to the on-the-go Home executive.

Bought the new bb cream and wow. Being Indian I can never find the perfect color until now . Really amazing light weight and covers up what needs to be covers up. I wear it to the gym and after a hard work out I still look amazing. Good to go to work

I received the the chocolate shade. I loved how light it felt after i applied it to my skin, and the coverage was good. The only downside for me was how shiny i was by midday. Overall its a good product.

I received a chocolate shade. It went on smoothly, a nice matt finish but my sensitive skin did not agree with it :-( I'm not fond of the smell either

I have the Garnier BB cream - it leaves my skin slightly more shiny but does not affect my senstive skin and also has a nice smell

I remember Ambi had a BB cream before one was launched by bigger cosmetic companies for African skin in South Africa, i tried it out and had a bad experience so i was a bit nervous about using this BB cream.I am not someone who wears make up everyday so this was a bit of a challenge for me but, i liked the Pond's BB cream because it wasn't just coverage, it was a sunscreen and moisturiser as well; and it did not stain like how normal foundation would.I like that it wasn't heavy too. Basically all the scepticism i had about BB creams was eliminated by the Pond's flawless radiance BB cream. Im glad i gave it a chance and i would definitely recommend it to other ladies.

well funny how when i started using the Ponds BB cream i was a bit skeptical as i am 1 of those woman who actually prefer to use nothing on their skins. i tried out the BB cream and i must say it left my skin looking so flawless couldn't believe it myself when i looked in the mirror to see the great change that just occurred. funny how my grandmother keeps reminding her not to forget to buy the cream as she has also tried it and we are both in love with our skin and the results. will definitely continue using it.

I tried the BB cream, and it feels very smooth on the skin, and I love the fact that it has SPF and I don't really have to put a sun screen on my face.

The only issue I encountered with the cream is that my skin is very dry, so after an hour or so, I get very dry and need to re-apply it.

So, if you are looking for an extra gentle all-in-one even tone expert that won't break your budget, this is certainly worth a try!

Day 13, yaay I'm on track, okay this is the last week for me to share the everyday joys of this BB cream. This should also be called a miracle cream by the way :)...I must say, I know this sounds like a lie, but I think my skin is there, all the results are showing, my skin is even, still a little bit of spots, but I'm getting there! This is a must have product! Will be doing a video review before the end of this week, I cant wait! Woop Woop

Day 12 was on Sunday :).....Woop Woop! What a day, I don't mean to brag, but damn I'm glowing! BB cream is the future! I've noticed marks that are disappearing, I'm loving this, like I said it saves time and its a quick fix :)

Day 11 was on Sat for me :)...Yay! I was at a family engagement party, You would swear I was soon to be the bride, lol, geese too much glow there! I was complemented left right and center. I saw my skin was not that oily, like the other days. I was sweating a lot though, because I was dancing, but for some reasons, I was wiping my face with wet wipes, but still felt like I've got the cream applied! I'm so impressed with this!

Having tried the sample for a few days this is how it went.
On the first day I had probably put on too little, I did not see a difference in my skin tone. The next few application days I tried to use more of the product so I can see if there is a difference.
The cream is nice and smooth, great packaging. I feel like the cream does not provide enough coverage but my skin does feel hydrated. The only difference I can see is that my face does not dry out as fast during the day.
I use the cream with my normal facial moisturiser.
I wish they could take the colour of the dark Garnier bb, make it slightly lighter and use the ponds texture. That would be perfect!
It good for a summer day out and for those who want minimal fuss with make-up.

I have been using the Ponds BB Cream- Chocolate for two weeks now and have to say that though it is a good product, I just really wish it could give me more cover for me it only fails on that!. my skin is still the same no change at all. After applying it i also dab my powder for more coverage. I think it would work well on people who do not have dark spots.

Not too bad of a BB cream

Pond's BB Cream promises an even-tone, flawless radiance with natural coverage. I saw and loved the radiance it promises, but was greatly disappointed with the coverage. Unfortunately,due to the lack of coverage, I will not be repurchasing it.

I must really say I'm fallin in luv wit BB jst dnt tell hubby. since I've bn using I'm impressed. It blends in pretty well n quick. Wish I had taken th b4 n after pics. My hubby cnt stop raving bout hw my skin is no longer shiny bt glowin. U'd swear I'm preg lol

Day 10, Still the same as day 9, except for my glowing face, I saw something last night when I was washing my face, I noticed that some of the sports are no longer darker than what they use to be, but hey let me wait, I'm so excited, I just hope I saw the right thing though....Will do Day 11 and 12 on Monday.
