I didn't really believe all the things the packaging said about this product , but I bought it in any case because it was on sale and I paid almost half of the regular price .
I have never been so impressed as I am with this product . When they say you dont need to apply moisturizer after showering with this , they actually really mean it .
You shower as per normal with your regular soap bar or body wash and rinse off as usual .
You then apply this on to your wet skin and simply rinse off . After wards skin is moisturized and left feeling smooth all day .
This is absolutely awesome for days when you late and dont have time to apply a body lotion all over .
It also works wonders in winter for those with really dry skin as it helps to lock in moisture .

Another one of my favourite October buys !! This very convenient and handy product is applied after you have cleansed with your shower gel or soap , whilst still wet, then simply rinse off and voila ! your skin is left moisturised ,smooth and supple !

Nivea- In-Shower Body Moisturiser Skin Conditioner- Dry Skin
I am an avid Nivea supporter and absolutely adore anything they come up with, until I used their new in-shower body moisturiser.
I was all out to purchase this new craze product but opted to take and use the sample given out at Dischem first before I committed to a full sized version. Luckily for me I chose this option as I didn’t really like this new trend shower/body/moisturiser product.
I tried the variant for very dry skin which matches my normal Nivea body moisturiser. (Dark Blue ?). This in-shower moisturiser helps to create silky soft skin with its added Almond Oil. This product in essence is a body moisturiser/lotion that you use in the shower after cleansing your body. It is applied onto your entire body then rinsed off. There is no need to apply additional body lotion once you step out the shower.
Nivea says that “The formula is quickly absorbed by wet skin” leaving you with a silky soft feeling right after the shower or bath. They even have 4 easy steps on how to use their product.
1. Use your normal shower product and rinse off
2. Apply the Nivea in-Shower moisturiser whilst still in the shower.
3. Rinse off.
4. Dry yourself, get dressed and go.
Although a very novel product I didn’t enjoy using it. Whilst applying after rinsing my body wash off, I felt it to slip off my body and not penetrate my skin. Once I rinsed the in-shower body moisturiser off, my skin did feel soothes and softened but was also very oily. It felt as though I had a film or layer of something over me which I personally feel very uncomfortable.
I thought this feeling would last through the day but was gone once I had dried off my body. About an hour after I’d dressed, I felt dry and itchy. It felt as though my skin was scaly and in need of moisture. I didn’t feel the immense moisturisation that this in-shower moisturiser claims to deliver and instead found myself rummaging through my handbag and car looking for “proper- conventional” lotion instead.

Even though this product isn't suitable for my skin at the moment, I still think it's an awesome product and really worth trying! My skin is extremely dry and my eczema has flared up due to seasonal allergies, so the product isn't moisturising enough for me right now. I will purchase it again when the hot days of summer arrive, as I feel this product is perfect for those days when you can't stand the feel of heavy creams on your skin. One of my best friends hates applying any type of cream to her body, but her skin can also be a bit dry, so she needs the extra moisture. She LOVES this product and thinks it's the best invention ever. She says her skin feels soft, smooth and moisturised after her shower. I didn't want the bottle I bought to go to waste, so I gave it to my gran. She is not young anymore and sometimes feels too tired after a shower to apply body lotion. This product works like a charm for her as well! Like I said, even though it's not working for me right now I will still give it 5 stars as I think it's a great summer product, it's great quality and the price is brilliant. I recommend you give it a try.

Conditioner for skin!
I simply love all things Nivea so when I got this I was sure it was to be awesome. I was right too.
It smells amazing and it takes away the need to lotion up on hot summer days and we all know how awful that is.
But fair warning, it makes the shower slippery! Be careful when applying and rinsing off. Make sure you rinse away the residue!

I am loving this one from Nivea!!!
You simply use your normal showel gel or wash and then the Nivea in-shower moisturiser then rinse off. This leaves your skin soft and smooth and feels as if you have already applied a moisturiser to your body.
I know your skin will feel soft after a shower but for those with dry skin apply moisturiser to your body after your shower as your skin won't feel so soft all day. Immediately apply body butter or lotion to lock in your skins moisture so it can stay soft all day. With continued use your skin will be improved.

I have to say, I'm not a fan of this product. I also found that it made my skin really itchy after an hour or 2. I've got a huge bottle of it, so am persevering, but I don't think it's going to become a staple part of my body care regime.
Disappointing indeed.

Way-to-go!!
So, I heard Nivea had this new thing out called the Nivea- In Shower Body Moisturiser... Guess what? I loved it!
Well, I instantly felt a difference. My skin was moisturised throughout the day. I felt so silky soft like a baby's bottom.

Am loving the Nivea in shower moisturiser
I absolutely love this product! As a new mum, it is hard to find time to have a proper shower, let alone moisturise! But this product allows you to do so while in the shower. I found it reasonably priced for a product that delivers. Was sceptical initially but glad I took the chance. Thank u Nivea.

NIVEA IN-SHOWER BODY-MOISTURSIER
I was so excited when I received a sample of this product in the latest Women's Health magazine. Eager to try it immediately on my extremely dry legs, I set of on my quest. (I just love Nivea so much and knew this product would rock!)
MY IMPRESSIONS:
1) As usual it smells divine! The smell lingered on my legs for more than an hour after shower.
2) The moisturiser is rich and creamy which promised ample nourishment for my alligator legs.
3) It went on smoothly after I have rinsed my shower gel off. My skin felt silky while still in the shower.
4) To help me do a proper review, I applied it only on my right leg. That would help me ascertain the next morning what the lasting effect is if any. To my utmost disappointment there was absolutely NO DIFFERENCE between the left and right leg. My skin did not felt so dry anymore, but most of the silky moisturising in-shower effect has disappeared. In all fairness to Nivea, it was only one application and it may be a different story when it is used on a long-term basis.
FINAL VERDICT: Price is good enough to give it a try just because it is Nivea. However, be prepared to stick with it in order to see real results. The jury is still out on whether it will have a lasting effect though. Only time will tell! ;-).

So I didn't know about this product until I seen an ad on television lately relaunching this product. I am really lazy about moisturising my body when I shower in the morning and because of this, I get dry skin throughout the day. So when I saw this ad, I had to go out and get it.
It is extremely easy to use. You use it in shower all over your body and when you get out you really don't need to use any lotions or creams. The hardest thing about using lotion after you shower is getting on those skinny jeans LOL. That problem is now solved. I got into my skinny's with no need to jump up and down on the spot because they would stick to the moisturiser like before.
A must for any woman who really needs an early start to the day without skipping the beauty regime. Definitely will recommend to anyone and the price is very affordable too.

Skin conditioner
So I tried this after seeing the add on TV. At a cost of R40 it's worth the moola!
Just smooth onto your whole body after soaping, and rinse off in the shower!
This product is a godsend for me and my family, esp the lazy members who would rather itch the whole day rather than spend 15 minutes rubbing lotion in!
I bought the one for dry skin, the other variety is a white bottle for normal skin, it is very thick and creamy and doesn't fall away from wet skin, it's so easy to apply and leaves the skin silky soft.
The only thing I don't like the residue that gets left behind on the shower floor, but it's a small price to pay for the benefits

I love this product from Nivea, cutting getting ready time in the morning so that I can spend 5 more minutes with my hubby!
You just moisturize in the shower, dry, and off you go getting dressed. No more waiting for your body lotion to pull into your skin so can get dressed. I have to admin though that I am not crazy about the scent, but then again because it doesn't smell "girly" my husband and I are both using and loving it and we both have soft skin. The price on this product is also very reasonable.

Quick & Easy
This is such an amazing initiative invention! I hate waiting for body cream to sink in or having to wash my hands after so I can style my hair, this product takes care of all of these issues. So easy to apply in the bath or shower and then rinse off. The only down side is I find that I have to use quite a lot of product to cover my body.

Best innovation EVER!!
Ive never had time for moisturiser after a shower especially after I had kids..this product is so perfect. I get to moisturize in the shower which saves me a whole lotta time and effort. I love it. and it really does work..I notice my skin isnt so dry anymore and is so smooth and soft. Thankyou Nivea :D

For those of us who don't have time to stick to a strict regiment of moisturising our bodies this is a must have product.a cream lotion to be used in the shower after washing. Apply to wet skin and rinse off immediately. Its unique water activated formula allows for the product to be absorbed immediately. My skin feels soft and fully moisturised and stays that way throughout the day.for a good quality product that nourishes skin with little effort it is well worth the price.

Best invention ever
Perfect for the cold winter that has come upon us as skin tends to dry up and get red and itchy and I know it’s horrible to bath in hot water but it’s a bad habit that keeps me warm and relaxes me but horrible for the skin. This is why Nivea invented an absolute god send. Saves so much time as sometimes I skip moisturiser and later feel the side effects and still end up running to my body lotion. You just wash as you usually do then slap this on and after a second I rinse off and get dressed as usual no more waiting for moisturiser to sink in before dressing. Smells like the normal nivea scent. It leave my skin feeling soft and not sticky. This is even better than a traditional body lotion in my opinion.

I'm obsessive about keeping my skin hydrated. To the point of serious OCD. My biggest pet hate is dry skin - seeing it and the sound of someone scratching it, is like nails on a chalkboard for me.
When I saw this pop into stores, I thought it might be a great idea for winter - who wants to put on moisturiser fresh out the shower, when the weather is so chilly??
This stuff is just amazing! I always have a tube of it in my shower now, although it definitely is more of a winter product for me.

I love this product, anything that saves me time in the morning is a winner in my books. This product comes in two options, dry and normal skin, I will admit that I prefer the dry option - I find that it soaks into my normal skin better, smells better and moisturizes better.

I wish that you could also use this on your face because this is the perfect product to use for our hot, humid Durban climate, it doesn't leave your body feeling sticky or slick, simply soft and moisturized.
These retail for approx R40 depending on the size you buy but they are often on special where you can get the big size for as little as R25!!

Price exceptional Dischem @ R25. Lasts the whole day. So convenient just apply shower and go. Great for the gym bag. Can be used in the evenings when we just want to shower and collapse into bed without moisturising?

I remember using these religiously when I was younger and still find myself using it - my skin is very dry Nivea is gentle on my skin and moisturizers my skin throughout the day!! They are super affordable and found at any supermarket or pharmacy... This stuff is amazing

Do you also hate to jump out of the bath in the cold and still having to moisturise while freezing? Well, Nivea decided to make winter easier. The in shower moisturiser is easy to use whenever you have a bath or shower. Apply it to your body while still in the water, leave it on for a minute or so and then rinse it off. The results are skin that is soft and smooth as if you just moisturised after your bath. I do not really like using it in the warm months, as I actually love applying body lotion, but in the winter months this makes life just so much easier. A definite must have.

Conclusion - great product, but for when we're in the middle of winter it may not be enough, perhaps to be used when I really don't feel like rubbing cream in, or before another cream just for an extra moisture boost. It would still be good for those rushed moments when I don't have time to moisturise, or when I'm too tired to do a full routine.
The Normal skin formula has a fresh lovely smell. It washes off and leaves skin feeling smooth and soft, but not greasy at all, which would be great for Durban summers, when the last thing you want is to feel layered in cream, with the humidity. I think this will most definitely be a summer staple for me!

For me, there is simply nothing worse than getting out a warm shower or bath in winter and then having to slap on ice cold body lotion. And then I found this gem! Not only is it super effective and easy on the wallet, its easy to find in stores and lasts a fairly long time. Absolutely in love!

Nivea is a beauty staple of mine because of its mild fresh scent, affordability and effectiveness of products also the Nivea Soft Creme seems to be the only moisturizer I can use without an allergic reaction.
This In Shower Moisturizer really does pack a punch, skin feels soft and smells great.

I love this product! Whoever thought of this concept was a genius. In those days I feel a little more lazy I use this in the shower and skip the body lotion. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. Great product.

I use the dry skin version.
Pros: Great for the gym bag. Makes the showering and moisturising process go so much faster (I reckon it cuts my time in about half because I don't have to stand and rub in lotion - and I like to be thorough).
Cons: Not hydrating enough to completely remove the need for traditional lotions and creams. My legs are especially dry so I need to reapply some body lotion after drying myself in the shower.
Pros: Great for the gym bag. Makes the showering and moisturising process go so much faster (I reckon it cuts my time in about half because I don't have to stand and rub in lotion - and I like to be thorough).
Cons: Not hydrating enough to completely remove the need for traditional lotions and creams. My legs are especially dry so I need to reapply some body lotion after drying myself in the shower.

This product is heaven sent. Since the harass winter has arrived and has planned to stay, this product has being my heaven sent.
This product is a "lotion" type cream that is used in the shower. After you have washed you body, just before you jump out, apply this to your wet body, like you would your body cream and then rinse it off. Its that simple.

I love the idea of this product though I find it a little sticky. i don't find it to be as moisturizing as it promises. It def makes a difference but not in the way I'd like. Reasonably priced though so give it a try - you might love it.

I must be honest and say this is one of the first Nivea products I didn't like :( I found the whole idea very appealing as its a huge time-saver to shower, rinse, dry and go! No lengthy moisturiser application required after your shower. This product didn't work for me though, even though I tried the one for dry skin. I loved the smell and the upside down bottle is a great idea ( you stand it up lid first so the product is right there when you squeeze it out). I applied after cleansing as instructed on the packaging, then rinsed off and towel dried. My skin felt initially quite smooth but didn't stay hydrated and towards the end of the day I definitely needed to moisturise my legs again. Also, the bottle cracked on the side, so the quality of the packaging isn't really up to scratch. The other problem is that when you rinse it off it tends to make the shower slippery, which isn't great especially if you have a tendency to be a klutz like me! On the whole, I didn't like this product and wont repurchase, although the idea behind it is fantastic.
