I absolutely loved this product. I have never used a CC cream before and was very skeptical to try it out however when I used this product i was blown away. I was amazed how fresh and clean it made me look. It went on with very little effort and it blended in so well with my skin tone. An hour after applying it, I was in awe to see that my skin looked so matt, so beautiful, so precise. What a lovely product
I love the feel on my skin. No oily residue. Stays on the whole day. Feels very soft on my skin did not cause any break outs. I am very impress with this product. The colour I have is very light(Nude) and goes very well with the face powder I use. I will definitely buy this product in the future.
I had never used a CC cream so this was a totally new experience for me. I loved trying out the CC cream.
-The CC cream is meant to fade the appearance of dark marks in just two weeks. -It evens skin tone, improves skin over time -It contains SPF 50 -Coverage- light to medium coverage (so that it doesn't look heavy) -Contains licorice, Vitamin C (proven to lighten & even skin)
I have been using the CC cream for about 2 weeks now and it has been a fun journey! I am already warming up to the idea of making the CC cream a part of my daily beauty regiment because I have found numerous uses for it. It can be used as a concealer or primer.
The CC cream comes in nine shades and I used Nutmeg which is most suitable for my skin. The CC cream is very creamy and has a nice fragrance. Due to the creamy consistency of the CC cream, I usually apply it using my fingers so that the cream gets easily absorbed into my skin and that it is evenly spread on my face.
My CC cream regiment:
In the morning, I cleanse and moisturize my face and neck. Afterwards, I apply a layer of the CC cream and wait for 2 minutes for the cream to get absorbed into my skin. Since the cream is of medium to light coverage and my skin is blemish prone, I apply two layers of the CC cream so that I get the desired effect which is to thoroughly conceal my dark spots whilst the CC cream reduces the appearance of dark marks. After applying the CC cream, I discovered that for best results, it is best to dab powder onto the face so that the CC cream sets better and is unlikely to smear or smudge. This also makes the CC cream last longer. This makes the CC cream a good investment as it can be used to reduce dark marks whilst being applied underneath one's makeup.
After four hours of having applied the CC cream, my skin still looks fresh and oil free. No smudges.
After ten hours, skin still looks matt. The CC cream managed to last the whole day without having to re-apply it (very impressed because most creams have to be re-applied).
PROS of the CC cream - it is cheap and affordable -it helps the skin to look natural and gives the impression that not much make up was used. -it contains SPF 50 -it is hydrating -lasts a long time and is long wearing. -fades dark marks and evens skin -can be used as a primer and concealer
CONS -it takes a bit of time to sink in. -needs powder to set in so that it does not smear or smudge.
My overall thoughts on the CC cream:
-This is yet again another great product from Avon without the expensive price tag. My experience with the Avon CC cream has been fantastic and I will definitely be using it again!

I have been using a CC cream caramel for a week now for me it works more like a finish touch on top of my foundation and it give me that shimmery look which is nice. But using it alone it does not cover up my marks and blemishes i still think the BB cream is much more effective than a CC cream. I wouldn't mind having it in my cosmetics due to SPF 50 which protects the skin under harsh conditions. It has a lovely smell, dissolve quite easily on the skin.
I'm not sure if the shade is a bit light for me maybe i should try another darker shade but in love with the shimmery look!
I received my sample this week. I have tried it and its awesome almost like applying a creamy moisture which gives you a smooth even effect. I have tried Revlon BB cream which doesn't give you the eveness and I must say I now prefer Avon CC cream. I hope it works well during summer as the SPF 50 is a plus to this product.
I have been using my Avon Ideal Flawless Colour Corrector Cream for a few days and already see a difference. I have dark patches on my face and since using the CC cream I find that they have already lightened. The cream is light and gets absorbed quickl and the bonus is that there is a 50SPF which for me is excellent. Will keep guys updated in a few more days.
I received my sample of the Avon cc cream last week in the post office , I tried it and I must say I love how fresh it made my skin feel ,its got a light soft texture and goes on smoothly and evenly .It has a pleasant smell and I like that it doesn't look too cakey on my skin also it has SPF 50 ,when I went out in the sun I didn't feel that the cream smugged , the cream even out my completion and give me a glowing effect .I will definitely purchase this cream I give i t a thumbs up :-)
So with all the hype of bb creams and now cc creams one is bound to join in eventually , I on the other hand do not own a bb cream and have only just lately acquired Avons Color Correcting Cream.I just couldn't fathom why I would need one if I have a good foundation and especially if one is almost 40 (like me ) felt to nervous to let go of my current makeup routine.I also wondered why bb creams and now cc creams so I did a little digging and found an explanatory picture to explain the difference between both . I must admit I am a bit on the fence with this product.It comes out really fast from the tube which shows that it is a bit on the runny side .Now I suffer with pigmentation on my cheeks and it does look somewhat like freckles but if you look closely you can see the uneven tone as well (pigmentation you curse ! )This formula has a thin consistency that absorbs easily into skin and has a very natural, soft and slightly dewy finish , yes I had a dewy look to my cheeks but its not enough for me , I need more coverage without looking all plastery . I am looking for a product that is lighter in texture than regular foundation but will not only even out my tone but cover those pesky pigmentation spots and sadly even though I am a fan of Avon products this just didn't cover up the danger zones and I was not happy with the white pasty look it gave me , even though this color suits me I prefer the yellowy undertones .I do enjoy sheer coverage on good skin days but if you have a lot you want to conceal this won’t do the job.But just because it didn't suit me doesn't mean it wont look good on you((Im almost 40 remember) as everyone's skin is different.I'd say if you have oily skin this might work for you, but if you have dry skin I would go for something else as it does tend to create a cakey look between the lines .Alas it fades in about 3 hours time.This one disappointed me as its just a touch too sheer.
With beauty products I’ve always been a bit stuck in my ways. So when I heard about BB and CC creams, I was curious but a bit dubious.
As a self employed person, I have to choose what products to buy very carefully. And those beauty consultants in chain stores may want to spray all kinds of perfume on us, but ask for a test sample of a skin care product…
Last week though I was sent an Avon CC cream to test from Beauty Bulletin. I immediately noticed it had a SPF 50 rating which was great news for me as I spend a lot of time outdoors in summer.
It also has a nice fragrance and I liked how smoothly it went on my face.
I happen to have a very uneven tone so this product has it’s work cut out for it. The only problem is that I chose a shade or two too light. So if I should buy it in future, I would look at a darker shade.
It has only been a week and a half, so I’m not sure how much change there has been to my skin tone. Some marks non my forehead seem to be less visible.
I would definitely look at using a CC cream instead of foundation, especially during the day.

After about 2 and a half weeks, I see definite lightening of dark marks on my face. And my face feels a lot smoother when applying the CC cream.
Wow and wow again, I have been using my Avon CC cream for a few days now and ivory is my perfect colour , my skin looks absolutely flawless and smooth . I am truly amazed at what a brilliant product it is , I will be adding more pictures and more detailed review in a week or so . I just have to carry on using this wonderful product to experience it's wonderment. Thanks to BB and Avon for letting me review this fantastic product.
Avon colour correction cream is a true wonder it helped me a lot I have used it for 4 days so far and boy oh boy I see the change especially under my eyes where I have dark circles and it doesnt show that I have a cream on. It's so easy to use, it doesn't run down my face nothing I'm so happy if only you could see my face. I'm a very fussy young lady especially when it comes to my face I do not wear alot of make up but this is a true beauty a product my face was longing for :-). It instantly gives my skin a better, more even tone and makes my skin look good enough that I'd be confident to wear without any other make-up. I even told my friend about this cream and now they also want it."This CC cream is great and the best part of it, it also has the added sunscreen and really evens out my coloring I am absolutely in love with this. It's like a all in one cream just for me.
Excellent product! Used it this morning for the first time. My skin is really bad in tems of breakouts right now and this cream covers almost all of the flaws. With some lipstick, I looked 100% better. If the price in the accompanying booklet is correct, then I think it's a bit expensive, but will invest in this great cream.

Thanks BB for sending me this awesome product to review, packaged in a 30ml black squeeze-tube with silver writing, The tube allows to dispense the perfect amount of product, even when you need just a small amount to touch up, I have used BB cream and foundation in the past, but this is my first experience of CC Cream, I really like this product for everyday use, it hides the redness on my cheeks, and gives my skin a lovely luminescence, but it doesn't look cakey or like I have a face full of base, It does take a bit of blending, but it blends amazingly and you wouldn't know I was wearing it if you hadn't seen my face before I applied it, I have used it for over a week now and it hasn't irritated my sensitive skin, and it did not clog my pores or lead to a break out, The best part of this amazing CC Cream is that it has a SPF 50, to protect our skin, while giving us great looking skin, I also found that it can be layered to give more coverage, but I blend each layer in well, and then let it settle for a while, and then applied a second layer! I esp like that it looks natural, and I can use it everyday, as I only put foundation on for special occasions, this CC Cream is the perfect fit for me!
I have been using the CC Cream for almost a week now and have noticed that my dark spots appear to have lightened dramatically. I have also noticed that my skin does not appear to be as oily during the day as it was previously and I get less breakouts. I do get a shine on my nose later in the day around lunch time but that is all, which I just use a pressed face powder for once as opposed to my normal everyday oily/shine face. I totally love this product and will be using this as part of my daily facial regime after moisturising. it is also affordable ranging from R85.00 which I think is quite a great price if you look at the benefits you get from this product. definitely five stars!!!!!
I just got mine at the introductory price of R84.95! Next month the price will double! I've used cliniques colour corrector with SPF 30 before and was significantly happy with the results! However just hunting down the deeper shades can sometimes be a mission! It was a bit of a gamble as well ordering through avon but last month fortunately they released foundation sample satchets and a sample trial size! I tried nutmeg, sable and caramel! And got lucky with sable! It's a light to medium coverage with built in SPF 50( not that this affects the colour in any way) applies evenly and leaves you with a soft natural healthy luminous glow ! Add on the benefits of the ability to reduce marks and even skin in two weeks with the power of vitamin c and licorice! And you have an all in one product aimed at giving you what you need in a foundation while the added benefits of evening skin tone performs like skincare! Think cliniques even better range!its better suited for you if you need more coverage, comes in 9 shades, has a higher SPF than the balm! Try this one now!its perfect for Indian tones with the yellow component in foundation that a lot of darker foundations lack
Let's start off by saying that I had never tried a CC (colour corrector) cream before, so I was intrigued to find out about the latest beauty buzz.
When researching what a CC cream does for one, the excitement struck as I would be reviewing a product which would help with uneven skin-tone, containing liquorice and vitamin C, and would protect my face from the harsh sun-rays as it contains 50 SPF. Great!
The lightweight formula, which contains correcting pigments, was easy to apply on my skin, It smelt like heaven! Fresh and not overbearing, and my skin felt smooth and fresh.
The Avon CC creams are for those with a warmer undertone, lucky me! It left my skin looking and feeling fresh with a matte finish. With an SPF of 50, I can now spend more time in the sun than indoors fretting about my skin!
Avon boasts that one will begin to see the appearance of dark marks starting to fade within two weeks...Well I have only used the product once, so I will have to continue with the product to see whether or not it delivers, but I'm sure it will!
A bit of a down side- Avon is usually reasonably priced, however I feel these CC creams are quite steep. The offer at the moment is R84.95, but regular price is R159.95. EISH!
All-in-all, Avon is a fantastic brand, and if you feel you need to revamp your makeup kit, I suggest you add the CC Cream for light coverage, because let's admit, NATURAL looking skin is MORE BEAUTIFUL!
