Using this dry skin gel has really opened my eyes to what treating dry skin should ACTUALLY look and feel like.
After just 3 weeks of use, my skin’s glow has happily been restored. No more dryness, at any time of the day.
And to top it off, I still have plenty more left to use, because you don’t even need to use that much. When they say “a little goes a long way” they actually mean it’.
I would recommend this product for anyone who loves skincare and glowing skin, but ESPECIALLY for those who suffer from dry skin.

I was given the Bio-oil Dry Skin Gel to try and I was extremely excited because I suffer from very dry skin as well as eczema. The texture is different to anything else I've tried, being a gel, but it feels great on my skin. The colour and smell is fantastic too. The Gel is great at miosturising and I could feel the difference and it is also great when it comes to patches of eczema. Although I love what it does for my skin, I was limited to using it at night as it left quite an oily residue on my skin and wouldn't be able to go about my business during the day being a bit oily. It's not a deal breaker for me as my skin absorbed all the goodness at night and I remained moisturised.

I have always struggled with Dry and Ashy skin, especially around my hands and feet. I also have very sensitive skin and so i refrain from using lotions that have fragrances and i always looked for products that contained mostly natural ingredients that were good for my skin. I did not know anything about the Bio-oil Dry Skin Gel before i tried it out and i must say i am very impressed!! The Bio-oil Dry Skin Gel is not like any other lotion i have ever used on my skin, the texture feels amazing and absorbs so beautifully into my dry skin leaving my skin moisturized all day long. A little of the Bio-oil dry skin gel goes a long way. If you suffer from very dry skin then this product is what you need!! I am really happy with the product and would highly recommend it!

I am someone who has ALWAYS struggled with dry skin. My skin is very sensitive and not easily impressed. Even the greasiest products just disappear into my skin. I have always loved Bio Oil and when I saw they had a cream and lotion rage, I had to give it all a try and it was so worth it.
1st Of all, it is not expensive at all, the tubs are a nice and generous size and the product itself is so smooth. I use it twice a day everyday and I promise you, my severely picky and particular skin hasn't looked back once. Even most sensitive products leave my skin feeling irritated and as dry as before. Not with this. I recommend the entire collection.

This is a great product if you have dry skin. The gel goes on smoothly without being greasy or leaving any kind of residue, you need only use a small amount as a little goes a long way. Your skin feels immediately moisturised and it lasts the whole day. Definitely a good product!

Truly appreciate the fact that it was effective at only one application. I love that the scent is not too overpowering, especially because I am breastfeeding. One thing I’m not impressed about is the prices. The product is a little bit too pricey, but a good investment if you looking for a product that combats dry skin.

The Bio-Oil Dry skin gel is super effective. It really does wonders for dry skin. Dry skin is highly irritable you find that certain clothes that you wear become very uncomfortable and cause your skin to be red and itchy all because your skin lacks moisture therefore friction is created every time fabric rubs against your skin. The Bio-oil dry skin gel is a lifesaver regarding this. After I started using it I became comfortable with wearing all my clothes without my skin being itchy or red. My skin stays glowing the whole day. My skin is the most dry after I shower so I apply the gel after showering. This gel even helps with dry ashy feet and elbows. Your skin becomes smooth and soft. I’m certainly happy that I found a product perfect for my skin?. I only have to apply a little bit of the gel to my skin so even though I’ve been using it everyday for the past three weeks, the tub still looks full so you get value for your money. This is a definite must-have if you have dry skin. Your skin will love you.?

First impression on this product was that its very small. 200ml to be exact which seems small fortunately a little gel really goes a long way. The first time I tried it I used way too much thinking I needed a lot which was not true. The gel kept my skin moisturized all day long which was surprising for me. It's getting me excited to expose my skin this Summer.
The price is a bit much but knowing that the gel works I dont mind spending extra.
I still need to check how long the 200ml will last to really check if its value for your money. Will be posting more after 30 days.

I suffer from extreme dry skin as I have been breast feeding for 2 years. My skin is very dry all over. And my legs was basically looking cracked.
I started using the Bio Oil Gel for 1 week every day. And I already feel the difference. My skin feels amazing. It’s soft, supple and smooth.
It doesn’t look dry at all! And it’s glowy. I apply it to my whole body.
And you see results within your first 24 hours of using the gel.
It’s honestly very effective and can be used on the face and body.
It is currently my bed time routine, and I wake up with skin feeling soft and silky.

I have been using the bio oil skin gel for the past 7 days. From the first day of using it, I felt different, good different, my skin was glowy and felt moisturized but I thought it was because it was my first day or the excitement. I suffer from dry skin, especially my legs.
Since I have been using the gel, I can totally relax the whole day and not worry if my knees are not dry or if my legs do not look ashy. At first it was great, seemed like the perfect product to replace my lotion but as winter became more and more intense, my view shifted a little.
I suffer from dry skin through out all seasons but of course winter is the worst.
I loved this product when I first started using it but now I'm realizing that I have to apply petroleum jelly to assist it.
When I apply it, my skin does feel amazingly smooth but after a few hours, my ankles, heels, knees and elbows call for more attention. And so I apply petroleum jelly on them.
I started noticing this on colder or windy days in early to mid June.
I had high hopes for this product and in a way it did not disappoint, it works better that most I've tried and it's non greesy.
The packaging is also very convenient because after applying it, you don't have to deal with the stress of closing a rotating cap with lotioned hands.
The product does have a rather weird smell but not enough to bother me.
It is also a little pricey but that's to be expected from Bio oil.
I would recommend people to buy this product but also have some petroleum jelly on the side for tougher winter weather especially if you suffer from extreme dry skin.

I absolutely loved this product. I was using the Bio-oil before and when I started using the Bio-oil Dry skin Gel It worked well for my skin as I suffer from extreme dry skin especially during winter and this was effective without leaving an oily residue. I used it both day and night and I would keep the one small tub in my handbag to re-apply throughout the day. My big tub is almost empty and I will be restocking. Definitely one of my favourite :)

I absolutely loved this product. It really helped for my skin, which is much dryer now that the season is changing.
However, it did make my hands feel a little sticky but I didn't mind it too much.
I used it on my face at night and it lightened my dark marks and pigmentation.. I have combo to oily skin and it didn't have any negative affect on my skin.

This gel comes in a 50ml, 100ml and 200ml plastic tub container. The container is user friendly with a flip lid which is easy to open and to access the product. The gel has a pink colour tint to it and it looks like a see through gel. The tub has the products name written on the outside and all the usual information along with it.

The gel has a general gel-like feel to it. Its got a touch of an oily feeling to it but does not make the skin feel oily when applying. A tiny pea size goes a very long way and makes the skin feel absolutely amazing! One pea size can cover my one entire leg.

I was first introduced to the Bio-Oil Gel last month by Beauty Bulletin and I am pleased to say that I absolutely love what I've been using. My recent move to Johannesburg has been harsh on my skin and especially during these Joburg winter days, my skin has become more dry! The Bio Oil gel definitely lived up to my expectations. I've been using the @biooil_za Dry Skin Gel for the past few weeks and I'm absolutely loving it. Our skin is waterproof and most creams are water based that's why the moisture doesn't last long! This gel is oil based and 100% active, as you can see my skin is moisturized and GLOWWWWWING.
A little bit goes a long way with the gel, plus the little I use lasts all day, meaning the product will last for a while before I have to purchase another one so it's super cost effective. I'm sold. 10/10.

I have always been a fan of Body Oil over creams and lotions I just found that they worked better for my dry skin.
So I was very Happy to try this product! And I was very impressed!
What love with the Bio-oil dry skin gel is that it is made of 97% nourishing oil and active ingredients (Shea butter, glycerine...) that actually penetrate and moisturize the skin !!
I can definitely see changes on my skin since I have been using the Dry skin Gel, my knees, feet, and elbow are no longer white and dry during the day, my skin feels more moisturized for the all day!
I love applying it just after my shower it’s the best feeling
If you have dry skin and are okay with store bought products I really recommend that you try it!
It’s my winter must have!
I am definitely buying it again for me and my teenage brothers!

I really loved the product! I suffer from dry skin, especially in the winter and it’s been so hard to find something that works for my skin & I mean really work for my skin, but I finally think I’ve found it, it smells good & feels just as amazing! I honestly believe I’ve found the best skin moisturizer for me. I don’t think I could go back to searching for the best suited.

I suffer from bouts of eczema during winter and I dread it everywhere. This year however, I was able to test out the Bio-Oil dry skin gel and it has really made a difference in the way in which my skin feels.
The product is very potent so a little does go a long way - I accidentally slathered it on at the start of my trial and it left me feeling a little uncomfortable. However, if you use a little, it absorbs in super quickly and leaves your skin feeling super moisturized.
The smell has that usual Bio-Oil smell and I love how fresh it smells. The smell doesn't linger which I appreciate.
It's become a staple in my routine now and I will definitely be repurchasing.

I really loved this gel. It kept my skin moist for the duration of the day but my only issue is that my skin became sticky after using it. So if for example I used it very early in the morning, in the afternoon it becomes sticky. It is however, very effective. I also love how it gives me a glow when using it as a primer for my makeup. It also prevents my makeup from melting if it becomes too hot.

I really enjoyed my journey reviewing the Bio Oil Dry skin Gel. I'm happy to say everyone in the family loves it so it is definitely now part of us. What I loved the most is that it is easily absorbed into my skin and those not leave me with that sticky oily feeling. It smell great too. My skin is glowing and not dry at all which is normally too dry in winter. I am very happy with the product Bio Oil did it again my skin is thanking you for the great product.

I really love how the product feels on my skin and how my skin looks after applying it.

This product has changed my life! I only suffer with dry skin in winter - but boy oh boy does it get bad!
With the skin gel I have only had to moisturise once a day AND my skin remains moisturised and super soft to the touch all day long!
I love how a little bit goes a very long way - because at the price you pay for the big tub, I would hate to have to repurchase every few weeks.
My only down side to this product is that, as a bio oil product, you would expect it to have all the skin renewing and regenerating ingredients that the oil has BUT it doesn't - it is purely a moisturising product with no scar and stretch mark reducing capabilities.
That being said, it is still the best moisturiser I have ever used for my skin and this will become part of my winter routine for the rest of my days :)
