It's been a month since I have been using the BioOil Dry skin gel and it has changed my skin for the better. As a person who suffers from eczema, I have a few selection of products that I can use and I'm also afraid to dry new products incase my skin reacts badly to the product. But since I have been using the BioOil Dry Skin gel, I haven't been having any problems with my skin.
My skin is usually dry and flacky at times but since I have been using the BioOil Dry skin gel, my skin has been nourished and softer than before.
As being a student, I find it being a bit pricey but since I don't need much product to moisturize my body, you do get value for your money and I wouldn't mind spending that amount because of the effectiveness of the product.
How my skin looks and feel is absolutely incredible and I will be continuing using the BioOil Dry Skin Gel. I am all for a natural beautiful skin glow and the BioOil Dry Skin Gel does bring that.

After trialing the Bio-Oil Dry Skin Gel for 4 weeks, I have some definite final thoughts - especially since I was trailing this alongside 2 other body lotions that are also for dry skin. My thoughts?
Texture - I'm not the biggest fan of gel products for my body mainly because of how greasy they can become. This product was no exception. It is a little greasy after application, so you do need to wait a while before the product is absorbed into your skin. Otherwise, it can stain delicate clothing or you could get finger marks on objects and surfaces.
Effectiveness - Yes, this is actually really good at relieving my dry skin! It's perfect for right after you've taken a shower and your pores are a litte more open to absorb the product a little better. It also gives you a lovely glow, which I love for when I'm going out and wearing shorts - my legs looked amazing with this gel applied!
Price - whilst I would repurchase this, there are other products that I would buy over this one. I don't think this is something that I see myself consistently using on a day-to-day basis; more for 'every now and then'. But in terms of its price, it is value for money as I see the 200ml tub lasting me fore 3+ months.
Overall Impressions - it's an innovative product and I love the idea of the pink gel (one of my favourite features). I appreciate the concept of using oil-based products for the body if your skin is dry, but against some other products that I have used, I wouldn't necessarily reach for this gel at first sight. But if you need a quick glow-up, this is something I would recommend!!

I've been using the gel for 4 weeks now and guess what it has been effective on my body.I will fully recommend this gel to everyone who is strictly suffering from dry skin or ashy skin because one of my friend did not have dry skin problem after using the gel for a week her skin tend to be dry instead of being more smooth and glowing
I love this product because
1.it has a nice pretty potable package/container that is easy to open
2.The texture of the product is kinda amazing
3.The colour of the gel is super gorgeous

Suffering from eczema means I always need extra moisture. Although I was excited to try this product out, it didn't penetrate my skin well enough.
It left me way too oily, and shiny, even with a little but didn't provide the moisture I needed for affected areas.
One plus is that it doesn't burn on open wounds although it does create some unwanted redness that doesn't go away.

I Really enjoyed this product, it has this amazing delicate smell that took me by surprise as I am very sensitive to strong smelling cosmetics, I loved the texture its warm & non sticky so you don't have to rub your hands together to warm it up before applying it and you don't have to wash your hands afterwards as it doesn't colour or leave a sticky residue on your hands. it quickly absorbs to your skin and leaves a satin finish that it not greasy at all, but most importantly it does what it claims to do, my skin has never been softer and the scaly grey skin on my feet is gone I am glowing all the way to summer, I wish I had known about this in winter and during the time I was pregnant. I am hooked. I love everything about this well though skin moisturiser!

So for the past few weeks I have been using the dry skin gel. The experience has been amazing and I fell in love with everything about it. from the packaging of the product to the pink color of the gel, and more especially its neutral scent.
Being a person who suffers from dry skin, bio-oil dry skin gel has made an amazing difference to my skin. This opportunity came at a perfect time since it was almost summer time and my skin had been looking ashy. This product has highly exceeded my expectations and has restored so much moisture to my skin that I had lost in the winter. My skin looks and feels great and yes, I have that summer glow I was promised.
I love the fact that a little amount of the gel goes a very long way and keeps my skin hydrated all day.
The journey has been amazing and thank you Bio-oil for this miracle gel.

My favourite aspect of the Bio Oil Dry Skin Gel glow is that the smallest amount makes the biggest difference and the dry skin gel really works. No lie. Your skin is moisturized and glowing the whole day. It is a bit pricey but it will be well worth your money and last you.

I have been using the dry skin gel for about 3 weeks now and I i am thoroughly impressed by the effectiveness of the product. My problem areas like my knees, ankles, in between my toes and elbows which are most prone to being ashy were totally un-ashy and that's what I'm most glad about especially this coming summer. I will be able to wear my dresses and shorts with sandles-worry free. I love it

I have always struggled with Dry and Ashy skin, especially around my hands and feet. I also have very sensitive skin and so i refrain from using lotions that have fragrances and i always looked for products that contained mostly natural ingredients that were good for my skin. I did not know anything about the Bio-oil Dry Skin Gel before i tried it out and i must say i am very impressed!! The Bio-oil Dry Skin Gel is not like any other lotion i have ever used on my skin, the texture feels amazing and absorbs so beautifully into my dry skin leaving my skin moisturized all day long. A little of the Bio-oil dry skin gel goes a long way. If you suffer from very dry skin then this product is what you need!! I am really happy with the product and would highly recommend it!

Truly appreciate the fact that it was effective at only one application. I love that the scent is not too overpowering, especially because I am breastfeeding. One thing I’m not impressed about is the prices. The product is a little bit too pricey, but a good investment if you looking for a product that combats dry skin.

I have been using this gel for over a month now. I use it twice every day on my whole body.
At first it was great, seemed like the perfect product to replace my lotion but as winter became more and more intense, my view shifted a little.
I suffer from dry skin through out all seasons but of course winter is the worst.
I loved this product when I first started using it but now I'm realizing that I have to apply petroleum jelly to assist it.
When I apply it, my skin does feel amazingly smooth but after a few hours, my ankles, heels, knees and elbows call for more attention. And so I apply petroleum jelly on them.
I started noticing this on colder or windy days in early to mid June.
I had high hopes for this product and in a way it did not disappoint, it works better that most I've tried and it's non greesy.
The packaging is also very convenient because after applying it, you don't have to deal with the stress of closing a rotating cap with lotioned hands.
The product does have a rather weird smell but not enough to bother me.
It is also a little pricey but that's to be expected from Bio oil.
I would recommend people to buy this product but also have some petroleum jelly on the side for tougher winter weather especially if you suffer from extreme dry skin.

I absolutely loved this product. I was using the Bio-oil before and when I started using the Bio-oil Dry skin Gel It worked well for my skin as I suffer from extreme dry skin especially during winter and this was effective without leaving an oily residue. I used it both day and night and I would keep the one small tub in my handbag to re-apply throughout the day. My big tub is almost empty and I will be restocking. Definitely one of my favourite :)

This product is great for those who have dry heels. It will easily absorb and soften your skin.
I love that I can only use a little bit to cover a greater surface.
I'm not a big fan of the medicinal scent , I think the smell should match the colour. But I'm glad that scent is not offensive.

I have always been a fan of Body Oil over creams and lotions I just found that they worked better for my dry skin.
So I was very Happy to try this product! And I was very impressed!
What love with the Bio-oil dry skin gel is that it is made of 97% nourishing oil and active ingredients (Shea butter, glycerine...) that actually penetrate and moisturize the skin !!
I can definitely see changes on my skin since I have been using the Dry skin Gel, my knees, feet, and elbow are no longer white and dry during the day, my skin feels more moisturized for the all day!
I love applying it just after my shower it’s the best feeling
If you have dry skin and are okay with store bought products I really recommend that you try it!
It’s my winter must have!
I am definitely buying it again for me and my teenage brothers!

I really loved this gel. It kept my skin moist for the duration of the day but my only issue is that my skin became sticky after using it. So if for example I used it very early in the morning, in the afternoon it becomes sticky. It is however, very effective. I also love how it gives me a glow when using it as a primer for my makeup. It also prevents my makeup from melting if it becomes too hot.

I really enjoyed my journey reviewing the Bio Oil Dry skin Gel. I'm happy to say everyone in the family loves it so it is definitely now part of us. What I loved the most is that it is easily absorbed into my skin and those not leave me with that sticky oily feeling. It smell great too. My skin is glowing and not dry at all which is normally too dry in winter. I am very happy with the product Bio Oil did it again my skin is thanking you for the great product.

This product has changed my life! I only suffer with dry skin in winter - but boy oh boy does it get bad!
With the skin gel I have only had to moisturise once a day AND my skin remains moisturised and super soft to the touch all day long!
I love how a little bit goes a very long way - because at the price you pay for the big tub, I would hate to have to repurchase every few weeks.

My skin care routine has been taken to new heights and my skin got way smoother with the new Bio-Oil Dry Skin Gel.
The winter season usually gets my skin messed up – the winter sunshine and wind is harsh and I LOOOVE a super-hot shower, which also has a drying effect on my skin
I apply the gel twice a day (morning and evening) right after a shower, in small amounts as just a tiny amount covers a larger surface area than my usual moisturizer.
My skin feels comfortable, moisturized and silky soft – I couldn’t be happier.
The Bio-Oil Dry Skin Gel is smooth, non-greasy texture and the smell of Bio-oil (Tissue Oil) that we all know and love. The pink gel is also such a cute aesthetic! .

I apply the gel twice a day (morning and evening) right after a shower, in small amounts as just a tiny amount covers a larger surface area than my usual moisturizer.
My skin feels comfortable, moisturized and silky soft – I couldn’t be happier.
The Bio-Oil Dry Skin Gel is smooth, non-greasy texture and the smell of Bio-oil (Tissue Oil) that we all know and love. The pink gel is also such a cute aesthetic! .

I have been using the Bio-Oil Dry Skin Gel for the past couple of weeks and my skin is loving it! I use it together with a cream that contains Urea (even though the gel does contain Urea it does not state what the percentage is) for extra hydration and moisturisation and I'm also drinking lots of water to hydrate my skin from the inside. My skin stays hydrated for longer and theres no need to reapply the Dry Skin Gel throughout the day I do however carry the small 50ml gel with me to apply onto my lips, cuticles, hands and dry patches on my face. I love that it doesn't clog up my pores and cause breakouts when using it on my face and that it doesn't irritate my sensitive eczema prone skin. My skin feels soft and smooth. I haven't seen any changes with my dark marks and scars as yet but I'm hoping with continuous use they will lighten up. I'm so obsessed with the pretty pink colour and gel to oil texture. What I also love is that a small amount goes a long way so it lasts longer and when using it with a cream you don't need a lot of product..making it great value for money. I will still continue to use this product throughout winter. The Bio-Oil Dry Skin Gel is a winter must-have for dry sensitive eczema prone skin!

My experience with the gel was generally positive, I used the gel once or twice everyday as well as touching up my hands throughout the day. The gel is extremely potent, so you only need to use a small amount which means that it lasts longer.
I suffer from eczema and as a result of medications and creams that I need to apply, I am left with dry, scaly skin that is difficult to manage. I used the Dry Skin Gel on my face, arms, legs, hands and as a lip oil when needed. I could tell after a few days of using the gel that is was having a positive effect on the skin on my legs, arms and hands, I am not having a problem with scaly elbows and legs anymore and the dry patches on my hands as a result of eczema have improved drastically.
Using the gel on my face seemed slightly risky, I have combination skin so my forehead and chin are oily whereas the centre of my face is very dry. It worked well on my face and left my skin feeling supple, young and smooth but further down the timeline of testing I ran into a few problems.
First of all, using the product on my lips and around my mouth caused me to break out constantly, the oil seemed to be too intense for that area of my face. Secondly, on the container itself it states that it should not be used on "broken skin", which is understandable as oils slow down the healing process. However, I did not account for the effect that exfoliating might have before applying the gel. It did begin to irritate my skin and cause redness, but that could because of a combination of factors.
Nonetheless, when I didn't exfoliate my skin, it worked like a dream – especially under makeup. You must let the product settle into your skin fully before applying your makeup as most foundations are water based and simply don't stay on the skin when mixed with gel.
I will definitely keep using this product and I highly recommend it for anyone who suffers with dry skin.

When it comes to body skincare products, it's natural to be skeptical or apprehensive, because we're used to what we know. Often we're even afraid of how our skin will react and then dealing with the damage control afterwards is tiring.
My initial perception of the Bio Oil Skin Gel was that it would be oily and sticky.
Based on previous products I've used from the Bio Oil range, I've only used it in the evening (with the mindset that it will soak into my body during the night and I won't have to worry about it sticking to my clothing).
However, I was pleasantly surprised by how versatile and effective the skin gel is. For years I've battled with flaky skin on my legs, especially my shin area. And during winter it gets worse. No matter how many time you put cream over it, you're back to square on. Within a week of using the Bio Oil skin gel, the flaky skin started disappearing, my scarring from stitches lighted AND it even brightened my skin up a bit.
I then started adding the skin gel as part of my night time skin routine and WOW! The improvement in the texture of my skin was amazing. My face and neck feels a lot fresher in the morning and the minor scarring from pimples also vanished.
My only negative remark about the skin gel is that if you use too much, it tends to leave your hands a bit oily.

Game changer indeed, I am so impressed with the product. During this time of the year I always face problems with regards to my skin. It becomes dry and ashy but this year things have turned around. I've purchased the dry skin gel, because I use Bio Oil since my teenage years. During my pregnancy I continued to use the oil on my belly and the appearance of my stretch marks have reduced over time. This product is not a quick fix, while many reviewers tend boast about seeing results almost immediately, I have to say, its been years of use and you SEE RESULTS OVER TIME :) I've always used the oil on my face (at night) because its oily, I avoided day time use. Since the gel launched, I've switched out the oil & have been using the gel morning & night and I certainly love, how light weight and fast absorbing it is on my skin. I'll continue to use it and review again, after 2-3 months
