Love the Tresemme Keratin Smooth Range! I mostly use the shampoo and conditioner, and sometimes incorporate the smoothing mask into my routine, especially in the colder winter months. I have naturally curly hair and I have found as far as "non-curly hair products" go, these work really well for me. It moisturises my hair and leaves it softer and less frizzy, without weighing it down when I do decide to wear my hair curly. Definitely an affordable product and I also love that the shampoo and conditioner come in large (750ml) bottles, so it takes a while before I run out and need to buy more.

I never run out of the shampoo, conditioner and the smooth shine oil. All these products keep my wigs looking healthy and frizz free. I also use them on my natural 4c hair and I love the feeling it leaves on my hair.

After the first use I could feel an immediate texture change in my hair when it was wet, and after a few more uses, my hair was so silky, shinier, my scalp was healthier and my hair grew!! The Keratin in the shampoo and conditioner truly does its job, and since its so affordable, one really has no excuse for not using this.

This range is absolutely amazing. From the first wash you can feel and see the difference. I must say that the shampoo didn't make much of a difference, but the conditioner, hair mask and hair oil made ALL OF THE DIFFERENCE. My curls became more defined, my hair became less frizzy (for real) and it felt so much softer. Would definitely recommend this product to everyone!

First remarks upon my first wash, I was not too convinced but one wash is not enough to tell how good a product will fare but I can honestly say after the third wash and looking back on the whole trial these products have really helped to revive my dry and otherwise unruly hair. I did not have any big expectations going into the reinvention journey only that I wanted healthier and stronger hair by the time the I finished my one-month trial.
The products in the range are really easy to use, my favourite product in the range would have to be the Marula oil which helped add shine to my hair and left it feeling really soft. The other products in the range which include the shampoo, conditioner and deep smoothing mask really succeeded in doing their jobs, I can confidently say that after every wash day, I could feel the difference in my hair.
I would definitely recommend to anybody to purchase this range, it is value for money and mostly importantly, it will be the best decision you could make regarding the health and maintenance of your hair. I can guarantee that your expectations will be met undoubtedly.
This is definitely a hair favorite and I hope my review helped you in some way.

What I like about this product?
I didn't actually notice much of a difference after the first wash. My hair did genuinely feel cleaner and soft- but don't most shampoos do that? It was only after about 2 weeks (approximately 5 washes) that I really noticed the condition of my hair changing. It has been a month of using the range and here's what I've noticed:
Hair feels softer and nourished.
I noticed zero increase with split ends- I had a trim about 4 weeks prior to starting the treatment. I usually would have HUNDREDS of split ends by now, from previous experience, but noticed that my ends look single (like me).
When I style my hair, the effects last longer- my hair usually goes back to its normal state after half a day, but I find it staying put now. I now leave my hair style/heat-free until the next wash.
It didn't cause my hair to fall any more than usual (nor did it help hair fall).
Affordable. I found the range cheaper from grocery stores instead of drugstores.
Easily accessible from most grocery stores and drugstores in South Africa.
You get a good amount of product. I've been using mine for a month and still have more than half the bottle of each product left.
I genuinely enjoyed using it and have noticed a positive difference in my hair. I feel what made it work even better was sticking to a healthy hair care routine. Because I knew I was reviewing it, I was taking extra care of my hair and taking steps I never bothered with before. Like applying a hair mask, using a detangling brush in the shower (aprox R40 from Clicks), using the lower settings of my hairdryer and reducing brushing by just using a wide toothed comb or finger brushing post-wash (brushing exacerbates frizz).
Basically it motivated me to really take care of my hair, which I regret not doing sooner! And I know we don't always have time for this, I'm also a girl-on-the-go, but doing the whole shower thing from my tips section and wearing oils and masks overnight actually doesn't take up any extra time. So I really found that incorporating proper hair care habits combined with the range worked beautifully on my hair. I'm always trying out different products which I will continue to do, but for now, I'm quite excited about these products and will stick with them for a while.

Wow i am absolutely blown away by the results i've gotten from using this range.
I've always been a fan of Tresemme's hair care products and have always tried out different variations of the Tresemme shampoo's and conditioners but i think that i have finally found my match.
With other shampoo's i have noticed that after a day or two my hair becomes excessively oily but not with the Tresemme Keratin smooth range though.It took my hair a lot longer to become oily.
Also since i hate having oily hair so much i was a little skeptical about using the shine oil ,thinking it would make my hair appear oily but it did not and i was really happy about that because most hair oils that are on the market can leave your hair looking like it was drenched in oil.Definitely a keeper!

I teamed up with TRESemmé and Beauty Bulletin to try out the new reinvented TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Range.
The new range contains Marula Oil which is best know for protecting and beautifying the hair with a strong, healthy, satiny finish.
I've been dying my hair for a while now and it has been really hard to find an affordable shampoo that contains low to none sulphates and this range includes a low sulphates shampoo.
I've used this range before and literally loved it so I was really excited to give the reinvented range a go!
I had very long, silky and healthy hair before I decided to snippet it off and start bleaching. So my ultimate hair goal is to get it healthy and silky again.
My hair became dry and brittle with a bit of frizz from continuous bleaching to maintain my blonde hair.
I have however stopped the bleaching in order to get my hair healthy again and I have allowed it to grow out a bit to eventually create an ombré effect.
My hair isn't an important factor in my work and everyday life but I love having my hair either in a sleek ponytail, French braids or loose with a middle part.
The only thing better than a good hair day is another good hair day, and thanks to TRESemmé I was able to achieve good hair days everyday within the month that I was reviewing the range.
I literally felt like this beautiful mermaid with smooth, silky, strong and sleek hair.
So, I have to give the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth range major props, my hair literally looks and feels so much more healthier than it was before I started using the range.
I feel so much more confident and cannot believe that in just one month this range changed my hair completely.

The change in the way my hair feels after using this range for 30 days is actually unbelievable. My hair is SO soft I can not stop touching it. Something else I really love about the range is how CLEAN my sculpt feels after use. I prefer the treatment over the conditioner (I am just the type of girl that would rather use a hair treatment or mask above a conditioner), other than that this range gets a 10/10 from me!

My hair has never been this healthy, soft & easy to maintain before.
I’ve even noticed that my hair doesn’t tangle so easily & that it doesn’t take as long to style like it did before.
I struggled terribly with Frizzy hair that was extremely difficult to maintain and style but now I can stop putting my hair up and start letting it loose again!
I think the Marula oil makes a huge difference in this range since it definitely nourishes my hair I can feel it in my soul.
So I won’t be switching over to any other brand anytime soon I will definitely be purchasing this range from here on forward and I recommend that you all do the same.

I absolutely love this range especially because I’m trying not to use too much heat on my hair so when I do you can really see a difference. I think the part I love the most is the smell of these products it makes me want to keep using it just for the smell.
My favourite of them all has to be the shine oil I am in love. I have really oily hair so the fact that I can use however many pumps I’d like without it leaving my hair greasy is amazing.
The thing that stood out for me the most and that would make me repurchase hear products is that even though it has the marula oil and keratin protein it does not leave my hair oily but instead feeds my hair what it needs.

I Absolutely love this range. If you dry and dehydrated hair, this shampoo and conditioner works overtime to help restore moisture back. I love the price, smell and how effective it is in making sure my hair looks and feels healthy. We know marula oil does wonders for skincare; now it’s no secret it helps repair hair too. it's a great detangler and I have a lot less fall out since I've been using this range. I would absolutely recommend this product.

After using this system for just over a month, my hair has changed quite significantly. Its definitely much easier to style and I spend less time ironing my hair with a flat iron which means less damage! So I'm super happy about that.
I would say that if you have short hair and you don't want it to look super flat after using this system then you should lessen the amount of conditioner you use when washing your hair and only focus the conditioner towards the ends of your hair. Initially I would use almost half a palm size of conditioner and my hair is shoulder length. I found that my hair looked quite flat after styling. So just take that into consideration:)

As glamorous as it looks, having extra long hair requires much upkeep, so when I got introduced to the improved keratin range from TRESemmé by Beauty Bulletin for their #ReinventionOfSmooth campaign, I was excited to try it, primarily because the products I was using prior to TRESemmé weighed my hair down considerably, resulting in frequent washes, thus leading to drying out my ends and inevitably causing frizzy hair, which no girl wants to deal with.
So was it TRESemmé to the rescue?

This improved range from TRESemmé promises the following benefits

Key Ingredients:
Keratin: a frizz – busting ingredient
Marula Oils: this latest inclusion helps in hair feeling softer thereby being ideally manageable
Low sulphate range
Effectiveness:
During the first wash, I immediately noticed a softer feel. The conditioner glided on, after my shampoo much more easily than usual with no tangles to painstakingly comb through, resulting in a quicker wash time – which is always convenient for those rushed mornings!
Price:
The shampoo and conditioner retails from about R80 for 750ml
The hair mask retails from about R83 for 300ml
The shine oil retails from about R83 for 50ml
This is an affordable range available at regular beauty outlets such as Clicks and Dischem.
I found that I washed my hair a lot less, therefore product lasts longer.
Ease Of Use:
With the use of the TRESemmé keratin range, washing and styling my hair no longer feels like a frantic chore, its now more enjoyable, as I can feel the Marula oils effectively softening my hair which gives my hair a luxurious and addictive feel that’s much more manageable to style.
How To Use:
This may differ from person to person, but my primary concerns for my long hair are oily roots and dry tips, so here is how I use any shampoo and conditioning duo – I found this method to be especially effective with the TRESemmé range.
Step 1: Apply conditioner to your ends before shampooing as a pre – poo (this ensures the prevention of split ends, the longer your hair is, the more brittle your ends are)
Step 2: Follow with a shampoo to your roots only, then rinse. (I do not shampoo my ends)
Step 3: Condition ends only, combing through the full length of your hair (I do not apply conditioner directly to my roots, which are oily enough already)
Alternatively: Apply the hair mask once a week as you would the conditioner or when you are going to use more heat then you regularly do for certain hair styles.

Warnings:
I cannot think of any warnings concerning this product – except that I’m absolutely crushing on the TRESemmé keratin range and I have to stop myself from obsessively touching my softer hair all the freaking time!
Pros:
From initial use to thirty days later, this is what I noticed
More manageable hair
Softer feeling hair
Less fizziness and fly aways
Quicker and easier wash time and styling
Nourished hair from root to tip
Doesn’t weigh down my hair, therefore less frequent washes
No more oily roots and dry tips
Cons:
TRESemmé products do contain parabens and low quantities of sulphates, however personally, I found that sulphate free hair products weigh down my hair, resulting in oily roots and constant washing, leaving my hair dry and unflattering.
Would I Use It Again:
I now wash my hair twice a week instead of every second day, my roots are more hydrated and less oily, subsequently, my scalp feels a lot healthier than usual, my hair is noticeably more healthy looking and stronger yet not greasy but rather sleek.
I’ve been using this product for a month now, and I will not be swapping it out any time soon, especially for the winter season when your hair is prone to more damage than usual.
I’m able to experiment with more hairstyles than just a straight look and I don’t have to spend hours doing so.
Summary:
Overall the reinvention of the TRESemmé keratin range has made me fall in love with my hair all over again.
It is the answer I was looking for with regards to hair care and therefore I highly recommend that you try this product – you will be exhilarated with the results.

During the first wash, I immediately noticed a softer feel. The conditioner glided on, after my shampoo much more easily than usual with no tangles to painstakingly comb through, resulting in a quicker wash time – which is always convenient for those rushed mornings!

The hair mask retails from about R83 for 300ml
The shine oil retails from about R83 for 50ml
This is an affordable range available at regular beauty outlets such as Clicks and Dischem.
I found that I washed my hair a lot less, therefore product lasts longer.
Ease Of Use:
With the use of the TRESemmé keratin range, washing and styling my hair no longer feels like a frantic chore, its now more enjoyable, as I can feel the Marula oils effectively softening my hair which gives my hair a luxurious and addictive feel that’s much more manageable to style.
How To Use:
This may differ from person to person, but my primary concerns for my long hair are oily roots and dry tips, so here is how I use any shampoo and conditioning duo – I found this method to be especially effective with the TRESemmé range.
Step 1: Apply conditioner to your ends before shampooing as a pre – poo (this ensures the prevention of split ends, the longer your hair is, the more brittle your ends are)
Step 2: Follow with a shampoo to your roots only, then rinse. (I do not shampoo my ends)
Step 3: Condition ends only, combing through the full length of your hair (I do not apply conditioner directly to my roots, which are oily enough already)
Alternatively: Apply the hair mask once a week as you would the conditioner or when you are going to use more heat then you regularly do for certain hair styles.

Warnings:
I cannot think of any warnings concerning this product – except that I’m absolutely crushing on the TRESemmé keratin range and I have to stop myself from obsessively touching my softer hair all the freaking time!
Pros:
From initial use to thirty days later, this is what I noticed
More manageable hair
Softer feeling hair
Less fizziness and fly aways
Quicker and easier wash time and styling
Nourished hair from root to tip
Doesn’t weigh down my hair, therefore less frequent washes
No more oily roots and dry tips
Cons:
TRESemmé products do contain parabens and low quantities of sulphates, however personally, I found that sulphate free hair products weigh down my hair, resulting in oily roots and constant washing, leaving my hair dry and unflattering.
Would I Use It Again:
I now wash my hair twice a week instead of every second day, my roots are more hydrated and less oily, subsequently, my scalp feels a lot healthier than usual, my hair is noticeably more healthy looking and stronger yet not greasy but rather sleek.
I’ve been using this product for a month now, and I will not be swapping it out any time soon, especially for the winter season when your hair is prone to more damage than usual.
I’m able to experiment with more hairstyles than just a straight look and I don’t have to spend hours doing so.
Summary:
Overall the reinvention of the TRESemmé keratin range has made me fall in love with my hair all over again.
It is the answer I was looking for with regards to hair care and therefore I highly recommend that you try this product – you will be exhilarated with the results.

I've bought the full range just over a week ago. The price for the shampoo and conditioner is a little high at R79.99 each but it's well worth the money. This range does exactly what it says it does. It smooths the hair beautifully and NO FRIZZ. I'm spending less time styling my waist long hair with minimal time using a flatiron. I definitely recommend this awesome range!

Okay so my friend and I used this range on our wigs that needed some life and wow.
From the moment you put on the conditioner you can feel the hair become softer. By the time we put the deep smoothing mask on our wigs are completely Tangle free!!!! It's been 4 days and my curly wig is still tangle & Frizz free and extremely soft. The shine oil is also really effective because it's so lightweight, it doesn't weigh down your hair and cause product build up. What a great range and it smells like a dream.
Also as a naturalista I appreciate the lower sulphate content in the shampoo!!
Overall I would definitely give tresseme my coins. This range deserves it.

It has officially been 6 weeks since I started using the range and I am pleased with the result. The reason why I waited 6 weeks is because I first bleached a section of my hair (for trial purposes) didn't like it, and then dyed my hair black to see if the range will still work for colour-treated hair ... Spoiler Alert: IT DOES!

Firstly, my hair actually grew far more than expected during this trial period and looks a lot healthier than before. My hair is shiny, less frizzy, feels smooth but I wouldn't say it's much stronger since I still experience breakage, especially on wash days. .
Since I've used the old Keratin Smooth Range, the marula oil reformulation was a definite game-changer because my hair hasn't felt or looked this healthy compared to the old formula and just compared to my hair before the trial started.

I would definitely repurchase the conditioner as well as the shine oil, no question about it, however I am still on the fence about the shampoo and mask? BUT I'd 100% recommend this range for anyone looking for healthy hair (which is everyone right?????) as well as for anyone looking for hair growth. ?

I’ve been using Tresemme for the longest time but didn’t try out the Tresemme Keratin Smooth Range until @beauty_bulletin sent it to me, but I’m absolutely in love. My hair is so soft and silky smooth and stays straight for far longer, I don’t have to worry about my hair going ‘home’ when I’m out?. I really love it, I just reapply the Smooth Shine oil again after I've styled my hair to add a little extra moisture.
I would suggest if you live in Cape Town not to do the hair mask in the shower, rather apply and leave in then rinse later or you'll be standing shivering with the water off for it to "set". So worth it though because my hair was amazing after that

I am very impressed with the new Keratin Smooth range , it is very cheap and when using the product you don't need to add a huge amount of it so it does last you for long.
My wig does have an extra silky effect that i love, soft and no tangles. i really really love the smell that the shampoo and conditioner brought on my hair.

I have bad luck when it comes to build up and my hair feeling greasy in no time at all after washing it, but I honestly can say that that hasn't been the case with this range.
Each time I've washed my hair, I've given it the full treatment. I've used the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Shampoo and the Conditioner, which already leaves my hair knot free and feeling great. First impressions are everything... and I constantly worry about what people think of my hair. As a woman that wears many caps, I wear many different crowns - from my virgin hair, my kinky Afro or good old braids. A little goes a long way!
Really enjoying this conditioner. I find that one pump goes a long way. I use it more towards the ends of my hair because I prefer more volume at the top. Makes combing wet hair an easy task.
I used way too much product on my first use and realized that my hair was way too flat. So on the second use I targeted the ends and used far less product and it worked like a charm. I think the amount of product you get for the price is such a great deal. Smells great and feels like a hair treatment. I think I will save quite a bit of cash by using this system at home as opposed to getting treatments at the salon.
My hair is also dyed so I find that it is generally quite dry. This system really adds moisture to my hair.
So far I only have to wash every three days. I tend to add a bit of the TRESemmé dry shampoo on the third day and wash it all out on the third evening.

I tried the mask before trying any of the other products from the range. I wanted to test it as a deep treatment mask. It turned out to be an excellent treatment for softening dry and stubborn hair.
I would recommend this product if you're trying to repair your hair as well. This could be bought separately as well if you don't want the entire system. Works great as a once a week treatment.
I will post a little video showing you how I manage to leave the treatment in and go about my day, washing it out after a few hours. That way I give it ample opportunity to work its magic.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this Range.
From the minute I unboxed it, the scent stood out.. my hair smelt amazing after i trialed the Range on my 28 inch Peruvian Hair Weave..
The Shampoo ensures that my hair was clean and the conditioner made washing my weave less Tideous because It became much easier to de tangle the hair..
At the second wash I used the Deep Conditioning mask.. I love how it totally revamped my weave and added moisture back into it.
My favorite product from the Range is the Smooth shine oil, it completed my hair style by sealing in the straightness and moisture. I would definetly recommend the entire Tresemme Keratin Smooth Range to all ladies..
