Revlon Colorstay Foundation is one of the foundations i had always had in my make up bag the coverage is great , this foundation does not dry out my skin and last all day .

Natural tan used to be My shade but surprisingly after years of using this shade, I finally noticed it was a tad dark or either my skin lightened for some reason. I visited the hub and and saw that there was a huge make up price reduction. I found the last colorstay foundation but in the shade golden beige and it was for Combination /oily skin. I still bought it.. And what an amazing decision. This color suits me to perfection. The formula is richer and gives me a flawless finish. It mattifies without drying out my skin or giving me that cakey look.
I'm quite taken back as I have relatively dry skin and this foundation still suits my skin. I've gotten quite a few compliments even from my husband, who is always oblivious to anything make up related lol.
I must mention that I visited Revlon counters at Edgar's prior to this purchase asking for advice and samples but as usual was told I couldn't get a sample because there were no containers to put it in. Wow, you wouldn't believe how often I was told that.. Which is why I'm over the moon that I found the perfect shade all by myself.

This was my very first foundation when I started using makeup.i have used many brands since but now I've gone back to using colorstay because it does the job beautifully and is not that expensive.i use the one for normal to dry skin as I have dry skin .it gives me a nice Dewey look which I lurrrvvvv.
The formula is rich and creamy .it is easily applied and disappears into my skin, giving me great coverage and a very natural look.
It's long lasting, doesn't transfer or fade . It looks great from the time i apply it till it's time to take off . One layer works for me but if you need more coverage ,it's buildable and won't give you that caked face look .
I highly recommend this foundation.

Ladies I have to state this first - I'm a proudly Revlon supporter! 90% of my make-up products are from Revlon. In terms of price and quality, Revlon are the best. I do not wear foundation or make-up for that matter everyday, but when I do I only wear foundation from the ColourStay range. I normally do not require to use a lot of the product, but my face will still look flawless!

I usually use the Mac Pro longwear foundation, but I was looking for something cheaper. The Revlon foundation is completely full coverage, and it lasts for the duration of the time you have it on. I loved it because it went on very even and even as I added highlighter and concealer, it remained well blended without any cakiness. I now use it for my everyday makeup, and I strongly recommend it.

When I was still into full coverage, this was my go-to foundation. The coverage is amazing. The lasting power is amazing. The finish is gorgeous. It is also very affordable. Why spend more when this foundation can easily compete with any other high-end foundation on the market?

This is the one product that I simply cannot go or do without.I use toast,its a lightweight foundation perfect for oily and combination skin.You will forget you wearing a foundation does not clog your pores resulting in a smooth flawless finish.An affordable product for great quality if you compare it with most other foundations.

This foundation simply disappears onto my skin and takes care of any imperfection without being obvious, which is exactly what you want in a foundation. The formula of this foundation is really nice to work with and I find it’s very easy to blend and works great with my beauty blender.
This foundation is great for oily/combination skin and my skin looks absolutely amazing when wearing it. There is no shine or any sign of imperfections. It also lasts me the whole day (even in summer) which is a great plus point as I don’t want my foundation to flake off in the middle of the day.
This foundation really provides excellent coverage, but the only issue I have with it is the bottle. I would have loved a pump to dispense the foundation instead as this controls it a bit better and it’s less likely that I will spill it out (I can be quite clumsy at times).

I have to rate this range of foundation as the best ever that I have used since I started wearing makeup! It provides lightweight, medium coverage which is fortunately buildable for those who prefer full coverage. Gone are the days of makeup which rubs off your clothes effortlessly and ruins your day - Revlon Colorstay does as it promises, it stays! What I love most about this range for combination to oily skin is that it's hydrating and provides a dewy finish. You hardly need to set your makeup with powder once you've applied it since it is designed to combat shine and fading. My shade in Hazelnut is part of the range that was introduced with Bonang Matheba; this is the range that caters for various shades of darker skin tones and it truly matches mine. My only issue with the product is that it doesn't have a 'pump action' bottle so you need to carefully measure for yourself the amount of product that you will need, which is easy enough.
I recommend this foundation for anyone who wants flawless, natural-looking makeup that stays for long and is suitable for your troublesome combination or oily skin.

Revlon foundations were the very first kind I bought when I first got interested in makeup. After wearing makeup for several years, its amazing to note that I'm back where I started. This range of 24hr foundations are amazing! I first fell in love with the Revlon Whipped Foundation and naturally, I knew I would love the Colorstay if I gave it a try.
Its price is appealing. Its packaging is simple yet classy and most importantly, their pigments are true to colour.
I will definitely be repurchasing!

Don't you all love dupes? When this foundation was compared to the MAC one, and being cheaper and better, i had to try it to for myself! I got the shade 010 toffee toffee, and the liquid blends beautifully into my oily skin, leaving my skin looking flawless, and because the foundation is so light, you can't feel you have any on your face.. I would say it gives you medium coverage, although you can build it up to full by applying a layer more.. The foundation has kinda a perfume smell, and the liquid instantly cools down your face.. I would definitely recommend this foundation to anyone who has oily skin and wants a flawless effortless face :)

I have used this a while ago and it was awesome i found my perfect colour match but to my disappointment i dropped the new bottle i had and it broke. so downfall of product is the glass bottles abut other than that it provides great coverage and wasnt cakey and sticky .loved it.

I love this foundation! Revlon Colour stay is the first ever foundation I used as I entered the world of makeup, I recently though ohh well do venture out and try some high end stuff, so i went and bough some foundation, eeeeek! moved right back to my Revlon.I can say more especially if you are of Black/African/Ethnic tones, its hard to get a good match in these high end foundations. the wear of it is good, and coverage pretty awesome for me so much so that most of the times I forgo concealer under my eyes, helping me achieve a flawless light natural look.

This was also the first foundation I have tried and after trying out many, Im happy to say this remains a staple in my makeup stash! Its not so lightweight, offers medium to full coverage! But I have to add that with primer and powder this foundation DOES NOT budge. Ive once exercised with it after work and it stayed put! The best IMHO

This was the first foundation I bought when I started using makeup and I loved it. The texture was thick and creamy which I thought was amazon because it had really good coverage but after a while became sick of because it was not very natural looking. The great thing about this though was that it would stay on all night!
I also found that it dried my skin out sometimes and I did not like that.
The foundation also tends to look a bit orange at times but that could maybe just be the shade I have.

I have used this Colorstay foundation for a good 5 years and it works exceptionally well. It goes on easily and I find that it covers beautifully. If you have a problem skin or big pores, this is the foundation for you. It has a maximum cover and as stated, it has a natural flawless look and you still look fresh at 5pm after wearing the foundation for the whole day.
It is very good value for money and a bottle lasts about 2 months if you use it every day!
It's a good summer foundation because it has a SPF and it's oil free so you don't feel like it is melting off your face.
Cons:
In the winter months however, it is better to use the Revlon foundation with the moisturizer as I find it does make dry skin in winter look even worse.
The other downfall of this foundation is that on the bottle it says "Won't rub off with normal activity" but sadly it does rub off onto your collar if it's close to your face and when you hug someone you have to make sure you don't get too close to their shirt else you leave a nice base smudge on their shirt.

This is my third Revlon foundation that I have tried. The other ones I have tried and reviews are the Revlon ColorStay Active foundation and the Revlon Photoready foundation. I bought this because I really like the quality of Revlon foundations. One of the pros of this foundation is that it is long-lasting. You can definitely wear this all day or on evening when you know you are going to dance all night and want to make sure your makeup stays intact. This foundation definitely lasts very well on the skin, stays matte for hours and requires very little touch up. However, it isn’t as lightweight as other foundation that I have used. With the Revlon Colorstay, it is lightweight for the first 8 hours, thereafter the foundation starts feeling slightly heavier (if you understand what I mean, the feeling you get when you-can’t-wait-to-get-this-makeup-off feeling).
Other pros are that this foundation is medium to full coverage and very buildable. I would say it’s more full coverage than medium. Another pro is that it contains low SPF, which means it’s a nice foundation for taking photos because it doesn’t make your face look ghastly white in flash photography. This foundation also comes in a large range of shades so there is a big chance you will find a perfect match.
However, there are a few things that I don’t like about this product. Firstly I don’t like the packaging at all. It is just an open-ended bottle with no pump to help dispense the product. You have the pour the product on the back of your hand and it gives very little control and in my opinion, isn’t very hygienic. The second thing I don’t like is the smell. It has a weird smell that I find hard to describe. It isn’t unpleasant enough to stop me using it, but the smell isn’t nice. Last thing I don’t like is that this foundation isn’t made for dry skin. If you have dry skin (I use to have dry skin), it makes your dry patches more evident. Also I don’t recommend using long-wearing foundations everyday as long-wearing formulas are generally more drying for the skin.
