In all honestly, I do not really like the scent of this perfume at. I understand the concept of the perfume and celebrate how their aim is to empower women and am overjoyed that they have been eco-friendly in the design of the perfume and the packaging - but I still can't get over the strong salty smell that this perfume has - yes, salty! I think it's the caviar note that my olfactory cells zone in on.
Initially when you spray the scent there seems to be a lot of confusing and even conflicting scents - you get the serious citrus smell coupled with the salty caviar scent. It's a bit overwhelming. If you can come to grips with the initial harsh, confused scent and allow it to settle, it does mellow out a bit and seems to settle on a warm fig scent with a lingering salty smell - almost makes you taste salt in your mouth each time you smell it.
The scent lasts the entire day and I think is highly suitable for a day on the beach because the salty smell will definitely complement the sea air, or even for a night out.
I think many women will love this scent because of what it symbolises and how it is in essence empowering women by creating a sense of community among us. There is even a lifestyle website for this idea of womanity - http://www.womanity.com/
I really like the bottle a lot even though some of my friends thought it was a bit harsh and the lid was too masculine looking. But for the message that this perfume is sending, it needed a strong statement bottle. I personally think it's beautiful and look fantastic among all my other bottles.
Not exactly a favourite of mine, but I believe that there are samples available in this month's O magazine. If you haven't sampled this perfume grab a magazine - It won't hurt to give it a try.

My brother bought this perfume for me for my birthday and I wasn't so sure of it at first as it is quite a strong smelling perfume but once I had it on, I got SO many compliments. And it really is a perfume that lasts longer than 30 minutes, It starts off with quite a sharp smell but then softens. The bottle is such an interesting design and captures the essence of this perfume "being a strong woman but still having that soft feminine side". I love it!

Innovative feminine scent
This fragrance is so gorgeous and quite difficult to describe, It is very fresh and slightly sweet, due to the fig. It smells pink. It is also very strong if sprayed too much. I like this fragrance but at the same time I don't. It is very innovative,the bottle too.

When i first sampled this fragrance i hated it. Then i walked around and kept smelling something yummy & realised that it was me! Strange that i didn't really like the first impression of this fragrance, it definately grows on you though. I love it now! Just to be sure that i liked it, i only bought a small 15ml bottle (handbag). The ad campaign is definately what initially drew me to the fragrance, i love the whole idea behind the fragrance & the women exude confidence and strength. The design of the bottle is anything but subtle, it's something you're proud of, that you show off. I love that like Angel, these bottles are re-fillable; and in the end can be more cost effective than going and buying a new bottle everytime you run out (eeeek). At the end of the day, this is not a scent for everyone; but it is a scent that anyone could wear, at anytime.

Thierry Mugler creates the most gorgeous fragrances, he is a very renowned designer, his life is amazing....."The prophet of Futurism" is how he is referred to, his creations are original, unique, and Womanity is different, its Floral Fruity and boasts strawberry, black fig, caviar and sea water. "WOW" is all i can say, i love to know the history of all my favorite designers....... its really good to know how they started and most importantly what inspires the fragrances that they create.....this is a must have for me..

While some women have multiple favourite fragrances I like to keep one that is very special. On a normal day I use a random deodorant that has a lovely scent but on an auspicious occasion, oh well that is where I pull out all the stops.
I am a huge fan of Womanity by Thierry Mugler, I remember I had first got a whiff of this gorgeous aroma via a sample and I instantly fell in love. I couldn't erase the beautiful fragrance from my memory, I could smell it everywhere and It's honestly just a sweet contagious scent. Everyone knows about Alien by Thierry Mugler, it's his popular fragrance but Womanly is like this hidden gem that not many people know of and maybe that is also what initially drew me to the brand.
It was different and it was magical, I used to wear it all the time on dates with my boyfriend and he could just smell me coming, people had known where I had been because of it's sweet and unique fragrance. When I wear it, it gives me this little sexy self-confidence boost with it's rich woody, fruity scent that really captivates the senses of those around you. It's gorgeous and my absolute favourite scent.

This is possibly the strangest perfume I have ever used. I was fortunate enough to obtain a sample of it and have found over the past few days that it smells different every time I wear it! I started out very unsure of if I loved it or hate it, but it has totally grown on me now and I love it!

Love it, I won this at BB competition...he he he he!!! I'm thinking of changing my perfume and stick to this one..
I love the bottle, its so attractive and the little ring that comes with it..Its so sweet and romantic..It smells so nice and deep..it lasts forever, i washed my clothes and I can still smell it even if i've washed my clothes..

Wow is all I can say about this one! The first day I smelt this I know I had to have it. The great thing about this fragrance is there is no other fragrance that smells like it, it's very unique and has a clear distinctive smell and I can easy sniff it out between other fragrances.
It's based on fig and caviar notes but I smell a bit of grapefruit and would describe it as bitter sweet as it has a savory/sea air hint to it! I find it to be oh so magical, a rare find such an intriguing fragrance that has life to it! Almost like you can smell it has a story behind ....
The price is good for a high end perfume Cause it's from Thierry Mugler you know your getting quality and it's clear in the way the scent lasts all day. On my clothing or a jacket if not washed I can smell it for days !
And the bottle... Well as you know I'm a sucker for a pretty bottle and this one is at the moment my favorite! Iv rearranged my perfume shelf to put it in front cause it is stunning with its chain linked metal lid with the metal face that looks like it's been poured over the bottle, looks like a beautiful statue on my shelf.
I found a 50ml refillable EDP bottle on www.myperfumeshop.co.za for R720 (their prices are good and they run flash sales and I actually got an extra R300 off)
Dischem had the 50ml non refillable for R790 and the 80ml goes for R899 .

There is a reason why we are willing to pay so much for a good perfume that lasts all day. One thing for sure is when applying womaninity use very carefull as the intoxicating smell of spice will fill your senses in an overwhelming way. I was lucky to receive a sample and i am pleased that i had the chance to wear this product but,for me it is a winter perfume. The smell is harsh and takes some getting used to but if you are a woman who loves a strong smell then this is for you.

I was very disappointed with Womanity. I am a big fan of Alien in fact it is in my top 5 favorite fragrances. When I saw the new fragrance I was drawn to the bottle, what a cool design, I tested the fragrance on my pulse and I was unsure about the scent at first but waited a few minutes and then came this horrible stench. I just couldn't believe it, how can this be the same designer who's other fragrances are all so fantastic? I couldn't wait to get home to get it off my arm. Maybe it just doesn't agree with my skin or something but no thank you, it actually made me feel sick.
