NIVEA CELLular Anti-Age Concentrated Skin-Refining Serum

So I'm repurchasing this serum for the third time. I couldn't afford the Kiehl's Plumping serum and this is my next best is it also contains gylcerine.

I love this product and its such great value for money.

I only received the Nivea Product on about the 20th March, and therefore have not had that much time to test it, but that's not a problem because I found the cream a pleasure to use.

a. I liked the packaging and the pump action bottle is really great - you can use as much - or as little as you require.

b. The lovely Nivea fragrance is there but not to an overwhelming extent. It reminds me of my childhood when my Mum used it.

c. The cream is easy to apply - just the right fluidity to spread well but not run all over the place.

d. My skin was very thirsty so it lapped up the cream and felt hydrated and soft and smooth after the first application. I expected miracles!

e. I had to remember that this is for the fine lines on your face and it definitely has helped a little in the short time that I used it. (I have many major wrinkles which I was hoping would disappear miraculously but unfortunately that didn't happen lol)

f. Thankfully I didn't have any break outs which was surprising because after a few days of using creams, I usually do have pimples sprouting everywhere,

g. In conclusion, I was very happy with the Nivea cream and I am grateful to Beauty Bulletin for giving me the opportunity to review it. I will continue to use it and would not hesitate in recommending it to others.

I've been using NIVEA’s CELLular Anti-Age Concentrated Skin-refining Serum in conjunction with NIVEA’s CELLular Anti-Age Facial Day Cream SPF15 for the past month. It is definitely a winning combination. As always, I love the familiar Nivea smell, bringing back wonderful childhood memories. This light feeling formulation is non-greasy, but really hydrating, and definitely made a huge difference in the texture of my skin. My skin really feels much more hydrated, and even my wrinkles seem to appear less visible. At my age, that is really a huge advantage, as my kids are at the age of realizing mommy isn't the beautiful model they saw through their "my mom is my hero" eyes any more. With Nivea, I can be that beautiful model mommy for a while longer.....I would definitely recommend Nivea Cellular Anti-Age Concentrated Skin-refining Serum to all my friends - especially the ones with teenage children. ;-)

I've only tested this product for 2 weeks & therefore don't see a difference with my age lines. However, this serum would work wonders in winter because I always need more moisturizer for winter as my skin dries out a lot & my usual serum doesn't work in winter. I love the thicker texture (creamy) of this product & would really recommend this product for our harsh winter conditions in JHB.
I will keep on testing this product for the remainder of this winter & hopefully will have a lot more to say on the longer use of this product.

I am a lady of 51 years of age and I have never used an anti age product yet. Well when I got the opportunity to review Nivea’s new product I thought why not try it. Well to my surprise I was selected to test the product.
Well about three weeks ago my bottle of Nivea Cellular Anti Age arrived in the post, and I was surprised by the size of the bottle. But then they say dynamite comes in small packages. I liked the look of the packaging, The instructions are clear and easy to read on this small bottle.
So every morning after cleansing my face, I would squirt a small amount in my hands and with my finger tip I would rub it on my skin and then apply my makeup. I don’t thing I have less wrinkles but my wrinkles around my mouth are not so visible as before. I love the way my face feels after applying this product.
It is not an expensive product.

So my little bottle of serum arrived. Packaging nice and small, with just enough silver to make it look expensive (which its not!)
What would this bring for my ever-increasing fine lines I wondered. Well, that was 3 weeks ago already.

Every morning after cleansing and toning, its time for my little spot of white velvet to go on.....

Have I seen a difference? I cant say that I have less wrinkles but they are definitely looking softer and less defined.

My skin feels like it has a velvet layer after I apply the Serum. Also, don't be fooled by the tiny amount which is dispensed by the handy dispenser, it IS enough for your whole face and your neck.

After applying I usually brush teeth and then I apply my foundation over the Serum - Revlon Colourstay. This often looked really dry on me but since using NIVEA Anti-Age Serum, my skin is noticeably more "dewy".

The dispenser is small enough to take on holiday, the little pump dispenses just the right amount and I am proud to display it in my bathroom.

The price is so reasonable too! Now you can buy for yourself and your Mom!

And remember ladies....Its not a cream - its a highly concentrated Serum. Big difference.

This is the first serum that I have tried. I have used it every morning under my moisturizer for 2 weeks. The smell is good, but mixed with my other Nivea product which smells different, it is not completely pleasant. It definitely makes my skin feel softer and better, but I cannot see any visible difference. Perhaps my winkles are not that big (I am +40!). Or perhaps the lighting in my bathroom at 5:30am is rather poor! I have been using it on my hands at night however & can really notice the difference - it has reduced the fine lines and feels super luxurious when you put it on.
It has been great to try (thank you Nivea!) because I have read so much about how fabulous serums are. In my personal view I would prefer a one-stop-product rather than putting on 2 products. I always need something with an SPF & I would prefer one scent rather than a mixture. But I will keep using it until it is finished, because I don't think you can always judge a product in only 2 weeks.

What is not to love about Nivea? They have delivered quality, cost-effective and yummy smelling products for as long as I can remember. Needless to say, I was smiling from ear to ear when I got the news that I would be reviewing their new Anti-Age Serum!:-D

BACKGROUND ON MY SKIN:
Any skin care product has their work cut out for them with my skin, as it is:
1) extremely fair, so every little blemish shows like a flashing neon sign
2) extremely dry, so I expect my skin care products to make the sanding paper feel, disappear!
3) over 40, so I need help with dealing with and preventing wrinkles, lack of elasticity and luster.
4) prone to hormonal break-outs…yes ladies, some of us never out grow it…give me a freaking break! ?
5) prone to enlarged pores, so I need a Photo Shop effect in a bottle!

HOW I USED THIS SERUM:
1) Before use, I wash my face with a conditioning cleanser and cleanse all remaining impurities with a cleansing toner.
2) I then apply the serum on face, chin & neck and wait to absorb, before I apply my moisturiser and then finally my foundation.
3) One uses a few drops at a time, so the bottle should last longer than a month.

MY FIRST THOUGHTS ON THIS SERUM:
1) I LOVE the pump action bottle which makes it so easy to use and store and the silver cap that gives it a classy look.
2) The serum’s consistency is light and creamy and not too thick & heavy.
3) Mmmmm yummy for the smell! I just LOVE the smell of Nivea’s products and this one did not disappoint. It softly lingers and lifts your mood. It is not cloying nor overpowering, but feminine and soft. The smell alone makes me feel special when using this serum.

WHAT DID IT DO FOR MY SKIN?:
1) After the first week, I could already detect a difference in both the appearance and feel of my skin.
2) Blemishes and wrinkles appeared softer and my skin also felt softer and suppler. (Ladies, I do not like wasting my money on products that do not deliver on their promises, nor praising a product that I consider unworthy, so this is my honest opinion!).
3) After the second week, this little serum really kicked it up a notch! Angry red marks from picking my skin (yes I know that is a terrible habit) during hormonal break-outs, usually take forever (weeks) to disappear. After a few days, I could hardly see the marks.
4) Not only did the marks appear lighter, but my skin felt and appeared firmer, with less visible blemishes and wrinkles.
5) My skin looked healthier and was actually glowing!
6) The best surprise of it all and a TOTAL BONUS to me, was that my pores appeared to be smaller! YAY…DOING THE HAPPY DANCE!

FINAL VERDICT:
1) After using Nivea’s CELLular Anti-Age Serum for just over 2 weeks, the difference to my skin’s appearance and feel are significant! That is confirmed by friends and family who also noticed the difference.
2) Blemishes, wrinkles & even pores appear softer and skin looks and feels firmer and healthier!
3) No more sand-papery and lackluster skin!
4) Ladies, do not wait until you are 40 to start using this product! Start in your twenties and save yourself a lot of trouble!
5) The cost is a bit high for an addition to one’s beauty routine @ around R179.00. However, my advice is to rather cut something else (you can do without) from your budget & spoil yourself with this product. You are worth it & you will thank me for it later! ;-)
6) If my skin shows so much improvement in just over 2 weeks, I can’t wait to see what it would look like in 2 months time with this product. The results inspire me to try the whole range!

I am using the whole range now for about 2 month. It feels and smells lovely and I thought it works better than my previous skin care products. But today I went for a skin check up and well, I am not impressed. My skin is very dehydrated ( and I drink lot's of water ). So even if I love the texture of the Nivea range, it does not work for skin over 40 and I would not recommend it. I am very disappointed.

Hi there. I received my Nivea Anti-Age Skin Rejuvenation on Monday. I used it mornings and evenings,because there wasn't much time left. Must say I love the product. My skin feel soft smooth and silky. My biggest problem with my skin is uneven skin tone, and wrinkles around the mouth and eyes. I will definitely like to use the whole range. will recommend it highly. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to use the product.

I have only been using this product now for 5 days and have to admit that my fine lines and wrinkles have reduced a lot. The appearance of my skin is so much better and my skin is firm and looks very renewed. I am almost 52 years old and have never seen a product with this immediate fantastic results. My skin feels smooth, silky and I am feeling great. This is a product that every woman should use, look at my skin, I have no compains ladies!!!!

I have been using the Nivea Anti Age serum consistently for approximately 2 weeks now and although I'm inclined to have a slightly sensitive skin, this product doesn't seem to aggravate my skin at all. I really enjoy the overall feel of the product as its not necessary to apply large quantities in order to feel as though something has been applied to the skin. One comment I must however make is that I normally prefer to use moisturising products (particularly day creams) that contain an SPF, which this product does not contain and I believe would be an added benefit. I can't say that I look 30 again but overall, I would definitely not hesitate to recommend the product as I believe it to be good value for money.

Hi Ladies, I finally got round to retrieving my package from the post office yesterday and opened it to find a very high tech silver and white box of Nivea Serum - the aim of the product is to tighten and plump aging skin. Seeing the ad on TV last night also looked interesting as it showed women in each cell excercising - as if re- awakening dormant space! I loved it. I have used serums before and found them to be rather watery - but this one seems more substantial in basis. I will apply it from tonight. Obviously with aging one worries most about wrinkles and puffiness around the eye area, so I want to see if it helps as I offen get puffiness under my right eye due to tiredness or excessive rubbing. I loathe lathering on night cream, so I am rather excited to see if this does work so please see this review as a work in progress - I will post comments as I go along. What I have found with serums is their particular effectiveness to quickly heal a pimple, open tiny nick or mark on the face far faster than a cream. I want to see if this is the case again. Thank you Nivea for choosing me as a guest tester - I'm all up to look 30 again!

Nivea Cellular Anti-Age Serum has a pleasant odour and a light, non-oily texture, which leaves the skin feeling soft, smooth and silky. It does not have a strong odour and only a small amount of product is required to get good coverage of the facial skin area. I do not believe that one can expect to see immediate results after only two applications and I would be happy to update my review in a couple of weeks time with further comments and observations.
