Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Hair Color

Beauty Bulletin and Garnier sent me the Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color in 5.25 Frosted Chestnut, thanks you ?. The Nutrisse Ultra Color dye is a permanent nourishing hair with ultra visible reflects. Garnier has formulated a new conditioner that contains 3 oils and claims to have 8 weeks of anti-dryness. The conditioner contains almond, olive and avocado oil. I coloured my hair on 23.03.2013 – I left it on longer than the recommended time about an hour as I have lots of grey hairs all around my hairline. The result was brilliant ?. The colour was beautiful exactly what I expected. It however was really dark through the length. This could be that the greys are concentrated at my hair line.
Sadly the colour lasted all of 2 weeks when the greys at my hair line started poking through again. This product is suppose to give lasting colour but clearly lasting was all of 2 weeks. I am now left with flat dull hair going 3 weeks on. The greys look orange rather than a chestnutty brown hue. Not impressed at all ?

Once again Garier has lived up to the quality that they promise in all their adverts seen on tv, printed in magazines and online advertising.

As one of the 100+ girls who received the product to review, I can admit that i am extremely happy with the results.

I recieved the 4.15 Iced Coffee, which is a very rich medium brown colour. Included in the box was 60ml developer creme (A),a 40ml nourishing colour creme (B) , a 40ml conditioner (C), gloves , and a users friendly instruction pamplet.
-Firstly you mix (A)and(B) to create the colouring formulae.
-I left the formulae on for 35 minutes, as i have highly resistant hair.
-After the 35minutes, i rised the colour off till the water was completely clear
-Then lastly i used the conditioner, which was also my favourite part of the process as it has such a fresh smell and conditioned deep within the hair. My hair felt lighter and smelt and looked incredible.

Finally, i would like to add that i usually experience excessive hair loss when using box dye, however i experienced less hair loss with the Garnier hair colour. And this alone has convinced me that this is the product for me.

And by saying that, i give the product a 5 star overall rating.

Iv always wanted to try red in my hair.... well since Iv started colouring it... thank you BB for the chance!
I have used Garnier colour before & Im always impressed with their product & this is no exception!
Firstly the smell of the dye was subtle it didnt leave a strong stench filtering throughout my house for my daughter & husband to complain!
Although I must say ... the red did seem alot messier but I managed to get rid of the traces I left!

The colour was obviously not exactly what the showed on the box & although it did darken my hair, it did leave a red tinge behind & its very obvious in sunlight that Im now a red head!
The dye itself did not leave my hair dry & the conditioner makes it all the more soft to touch!
I will definitely be using Garnier colour again & it is so worth recommending to anyone!... I might decide to go all black next time :)

Never having colored my hair myself, I was a little nervous. Well. I opened the package and read the easy to follow instructions and began. My biggest problem? The towel kept falling off my shoulders :-). The instructions were really easy to follow and the product easy to apply. The results? spectacular !!! Would I use this product again? In a heartbeat.

Ok, so i have been a stay at home mom for 6months now, but there is no need to look like a stay at home mom, if you know what i mean. Greys are popping out all over theplace so i have to dye once a month, and therefor know what to expect. I bought the Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color Vibrant Red 5.62. The clolr is awesome! It covers all the greay, my hair is silky soft just like it says on the box it would be, butmost of all i love the vibrant color! I am definately a fiesty, firey hot mamma now.

Well...after eventually receiving the product to review ...due to the postal strike, we have no water!!! The reservoir has run dry...so... Watch this space. Hopefully I will be able to show the 'after' result tomorrow.

What A amazing product! I have used various brands of box hair dyes before, and this is the very first time using the Garnier name brand. I am pleased to say it was also the first time that my hair colour was the colour that it showed on the box. I selected the Ice Coffee Garnier Nutrisse, was tried of the blond and wanted to go brunette again :)

I followed all the instructions to a T. I only had the dye in my hair for 25 minutes as I was scared it will come out darker then what I would want it. The first thing I noticed immediately was the amount of dye was enough to cover my whole head, not sure if I just used the dye right this time, but previous times with other name brands I struggled to cover my whole head with one bottle.

When I rinsed my hair of all the dye, I noticed my hair was soft, as if the hair dye was a treatment. I had no trouble with dry, straw like hair right after my hair was dyed.

I am now brunette for two weeks and it still looks like a fresh colour that was done the day before. Love the conditioner they game with the box dye, a full treatment on it's own for my hair!! love it!

I am very impressed with this product and would recommend it to anybody.

The garnier nutrisse ultra color does not just smell divine but it is easily applyable with no fuss and mess. The frosted chestnut suits me perfectly and it shimes so pretty. I definetaly recommend you to get your perfect match of hair color and have the same experience as me. It makes you feel like a whole new person again.

I’ve always been a Nurtisse girl but this new Ultra Color is amazing. The first thing that hit me when I opened the box was the delicious, fruity smell. It was good enough to eat!!

This product is easy to use, with clear step-by-step instructions, making sure you can’t go wrong. The color I used was 2.6 Dark Cherry. I’ve always wanted to be a redhead. I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive when I first looked at the color in the applicator bottle. It was bright orange and I have visions of myself looking like a carrot, but don’t let this worry you, after a short time the color darkened to a beautiful, rich reddish-orange.

What I really love about this color is its intense richness, but without being too over the top. My hair is dark with just a hint of red, but my secret is revealed as the deep crimson shimmer explodes in the sunlight.

I feel like such a vixen. I’ve found my new color for life! Thank you, Garnier!!

Overall I was very impressed with the Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Colour hair dye. Not only is the product relatively inexpensive, but it is also user friendly and offered great results.

The packaging and information leaflet was extremely user friendly and easy to use. The contents were well labelled and the leaflet had simple step-by-step images to guide you through the process so there wasn’t a lot of reading to do, which sped up the process A LOT, and guaranteed that you would do it right the first time. The box clearly stated and illustrated the hair dye colour as well as the safety instructions. It also gave a pretty accurate and useful idea of the dye result according to your natural hair colour. I also loved the fact that the box had a little pop out section that you could place the hair dye bottle in once you had mixed the ingredients, which meant that you could easily and safely place the bottle down in between applications and not worry about staining furniture surfaces.

Application of the product was a bit tricky for me to do on my own, so I did ask for assistance from my sister, but I know that it is possible to do it on your own, as my sister always applies her hair dye all by herself. The dye doesn’t trip and doesn’t stain your skin as easily as other hair dyes that I have used. I actually had no stains whatsoever. Although, I did make an effort to wipe the dye off as soon as we noticed any that made contact with my skin. There was just enough hair dye to cover all my hair, which kind of shocked me. Although I have long hair, my hair is also very thin, and with most hair dyes there has always been some hair dye left that we had to throw away. Thus, if you have thick hair or really long hair I would strongly suggest that you buy two boxes, just to make sure that there is enough to cover all your hair.

The product itself is amazing. Firstly, it smells terrific – a subtle, sweet and fruity scent. It has been more than a week now and after washing my hair almost every day my hair still smells like the hair dye. Secondly, the colour of my hair after the product was applied is fantastic. It is rich, shiny and truly radiant. It doesn’t look dull or flat at all. It was also very similar to the colour results suggested on the box, which means you will get the colour that you were expecting. Thirdly, my hair has also been feeling super soft. Even as I was rinsing off the dye it already felt super soft and after over a week it still feels amazing (granted, I have been conditioning my hair and using a hair mask as usual). Additional bonus… the hair colour hasn’t really faded… or not so much that I have been able to tell.

Thus, there really isn’t anything bad that I can say about this product. It was a pleasure to use and offered great results. I will definitely be trying some of the other various shades!

So, my Post Office is so crappy that I still haven't received my product. It's "locked" or something they say so odds are I have a long wait. So, I thought what the heck, I need to colour up anyway so I went out and bought the product today and go to it. Just got done with wash and set and I have to say, WOW! I am more than happy with this and it is even cheaper than my usual hair colour.
The colour is rich and vibrant and makes me feel new. I will definitely be using the awaiting post office box for the next colour! Bonus, the colour enriching shampoo can be used more than once. I've had no burning or itching so I know the formula is safe for my sensitive skin as well. This is GREAT!

I want to start of by saying a huge thank you to BB for giving me the opportunity to review this amazing product it is most definitely one of thee best hair dyes out now! The dyeing of the hair itself is such a blissful process because of the easy applicator bottle and the smell isn't too strong like most dyes so for people with sinus issues (like me!) that is most certainly a huge benefit! My hair was black before i had dyed it and now it has a beautiful deep mahogany kind of look which is perfect for me and not forgetting the fact that even though i did drop some of the dye it was a complete breeze to wipe off! The gloves that come with are reliable and does not come off whilst you are in the process. The amazing, absolutely heavenly conditioner has to be the cherry on top for me, once I washed my hair it felt like i had feathers on my head, so light, so soft and smelling fruitfully awesome! Go on and get your's today! ;)

I was one of the lucky winners and I must say I am so happy to have tried this awesome product. No drip, no fuss, just perfect hair colour with no burning, itching or irritation. Easy to use, the instructions are set out perfectly and the colour is exactly what is advertised on the box. plus the conditioner lasts for more than one wash and smells divine. I highly recommend Garnier.
