I have developed a new found love and respect for Garnier. The products are reliable, environmentally friendly and only contain natural ingredients not tested on animals. Mega plus points for that. I dont use this product too often because I feel it may be a bit heavy for my skin and I dont really have blemishes or marks to cover up. I just use it now and then when I run out of foundation or blusher. Anyway the coverage is ok and its looks good on skin!
This is the BB cream I've found. I tried the Revlon anti-aging BB cream and it was twice the price and literally just crumbled off my face. Garnier's however is amazing.
I was getting ready with the girls one night and we discovered all 4 of us had the same product (never discussed it before with them- purely coincidence). If thats not proof of a good product that works for everyone I don't know what is!
After a long search and foray into the BB cream space, I have finally found my match. The colour, dark 04 fits my skin tone to a T( so much better than Ponds' Chocolate which made me look grey).I found 4 colours at my local Clicks from Light to Very Dark.It is creamy therefore giving you added moisture with an SPF 30 Uv protection. Once I have this on, I pop some blush on my cheeks and some lipgloss and I'm good to go.It covers any blemishes and gives me an even tone.The price is the second miracle about it.
This BB cream is great, the smell is lovely too. The only problem I found was that it tended to leave my skin oilier as the day went on. Problem solved by carrying around a powder compact and blotting my T section every few hours.
I love this product so much! It's a good price and amazing quality. I'm trying now for a month and it's going really well. Because I have problems with a oil skin, I thought that using a BB cream would be a bad idea, but I found out that the BB cream for Garnier is the best! Loving it!!
Truly a great product. My first thought however was "how good could Garnier B.B. Cream, Miracle Skin Perfector Oil Free actually work considering you can pick it up for just $11.99? I was truly shocked at how perfectly this low priced cream worked. The second I applied it to my face I knew that I may very well have found the holy grail in cosmetics. Overall I love this one. I will pick up another tube as soon as it runs out, but will seek out a deeper color to match my skin better.
Hi there! The BB cream of Garnier is actually not that great. I tried the medium one yet it's like a tanned effect on me plus it's sticky with dry patches and does not have the touch BB cream should have. And throughout the day I could tell there was a layer of makeup on me. Not really worth the money unfortunately I have the l'oreal one and I could tell the difference.
I use this every day. Am on my 3rd tube since it came out. I find it gives just sufficient coverage for a "casual" day - I wear full foundation for client meeting days. I think, for the price, it is a superb product. Plus, I saw it on sale yesterday at Clicks - it was dead cheap!!!
When i first heard of this product,i could not wait to try it out.But i could not find the right colour for my skin,tried all three of them.I love the texture,and how smooth it feels on my skin,the only problem i have is not finding the right colour.
Loved the way my skin felt, but after a while found it oily and the coverage for me wasn't great at all because my pigmentation was still quite visible.
This bb cream is not the cheapest on the market depending on were you buy it its averagely priced
Its very cream almost moose like, very easy to apply but will take a few coats for satisfactory results. It lasts about 6 hours before a touch up is required. It leaves your skin very oily so not recommended for anyone with oily skin. Very moisturizing and has a very pleasant scent
I was truly shocked at how perfectly this low priced cream worked.The cream is runny, but it glides over the skin nicely. It’s not drying. It does not streak, and it absorbs into the skin quickly. It left a slight shine on my my forehead and nose area, but i don’t really mind since i have very dry skin ,so any sort of moisture is good!
This lightweight cream is a 5 in 1 miracle cream! you can wear it everyday without worrying about getting acne (which is what is caused by wearing base everyday)it makes you look and feel great,especially when you are in a rush and still want to feel good when walking out the house. It is every girls must have :)
Simply amazing it leaves my skin with a natural glow and my skin just feels softer and more smoother than before. I dont think just anyone should use this product as eveyone skin type differs. The bb cream is light and smells great too and does not leave my skin feeling tight or sticky.

So satisfied with my new BB cream in Medium,i love the look and feel of this B.B cream. Its seems to smooth out fine lines very effectively and imperfections Gives my skin a totaly healthy glow.I even walked around today with just my Garnier B.B cream and a bit of blusher and my skin looked radient. Sure does give a pleasing coverage.And feels so lightweight on the skin.. Plus its got a SPF 15,Im very pleased with this tube Of B.B cream Its got my Thumbs up for sure..
I cannot live without this stuff! I was on roaccutane which made my skin dryer than the Sahara. While I had to reapply lotion to my body throughout the day and lipbalm almost every 5 minutes, my face kept looking soft and moisturised thanks to this stuff. I still use my normal moisturiser under it. The BB cream is like an awesome booster product.
It works great on it's own for those 'natural' days. On it's own it doesn't entirely cover marks but does soften the look of them. It also gives you a really healthy looking glow. Don't like glow and want more coverage? Just powder your face lightly.
It allows me to use less foundation(I now use literally 1-2 drops of foundation!). You can either layer your foundation on top of it or mix the two together for slightly lighter coverage. With foundation it gives you almost porcelein-looking skin!
This really is a miracle product! I purchased it as soon as it was launched last year and I have been in love with it ever since. It evens out my skin beautifully and leaves it looking glowing and radiant. I have already had many remarks about how lovely my skin looks since using it. Its scent is also gorgeous and refreshing and reminds me of green tea. As for the price, it is a winner compared to many other BB creams.
The smell is nice, but the product does not impress me. It caused me to breakout more and the lightest colour was still too dark for me (I'm actually quite tan so I was surprised to see it's too dark for my skintone). It also left my skin feeling greasy. I would not buy this product again.
This is my new favourite beauty product! Instantly when applied my skin has a fresh radiant glow with the right amount of coverage, feeling light on my skin. It's perfect since I'm not a fan of foundation and prefer the natural look. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or oily but moisturized. I also love the beautiful scent. I would highly recommend this product if you're looking for light cover, not to mention the affordable price and added SPF 15. It's an all- in- one miracle worker! Really impressive.
I've been using this BB cream since November last year and I've pretty much abandoned my foundation. I use this everyday without fail. It leaves my skin feeling soft and supple and my skin literally has a glowly look. It covers up and evens out my complexion amazingly. I really cant believe how awesome my skin looks when I wear this. People have noticed and commented on how good my skin is looking.
I just love the overal natural look of this and can't live without it!
i have totally given in to the BB cream Craze! this was the very first BB cream i tried, and it matches my Indian skin perfectly. it blends well, covers decently and gives a dewy finish to the skin. i definitely would recommend this to anybody that has not tried BB creams before. although be warned, this BB cream does tend to make your skin oily in the T-zone area
I saw my friend's skin glowing, asked her what product does she use and she told that she uses the garnier bb cream and I should try it. I bought the bb cream, used it for about a week and didn't like it that much.
I like the fact that it doesn't feel heavy on your face so u don't feel like you're wearing makeup. For a person who has oily skin, I didn't like the fact that the product made me too oily and too quickly. I had to use powder just to limit the oiliness. And what I also noticed after a week is that my skin was drying out and becoming flaky so I stopped using the product.
I was introduced to BB cream by my sister, however, for a person with oily/combination skin, this is not a good product. Within 3 to 4 hours of applying it, my skin looked terrible; more oily than its ever been. Unfortunately, not a product for me!
I was introduced to this product about a month ago and I can truly say it has become a life saver, especially on those rushed Monday mornings. It's as easy to apply as moisturizer and has an almost weightless feel. I have a very dry skin type & since I started using this everyday I have noticed a marked improvement in my skin condition. Loving the SPF factor. The best part is you aren't going to have to sell a kidney to buy this product. For the price it really is a miracle product.
I have never been a big fan of foundation, I hate that heavy feeling on my face and the idea of it blocking my pores. So when I heard about BB cream, I was very excited to try it, as it provides coverage but it's also good for your skin. Being a stay at home mom I as very happy to see that the Garnier BB cream is very affordable and decided to give it a try! I am happy to say I haven't touched my regular foundation since. I love how light the BB cream feels on my skin, it just feels like I'm wearing a really nice moisturizer. It gives me sufficient coverage for everyday wear and if I'm going out and I need a little bit more I simply use some concealer here and there and it looks absolutely flawless and not cakey at all, I Love this BB cream and I would recommend it to anyone, especially those of us who have dry skin. If you have oily skin you might have to set this with powder.
I recently purchased Garnier BB cream and I've used it thrice and I have mixed feelings about it. Likes: - it's not as clumpy as foundation - it's light - it creates enough coverage for campus - it does actually give me some sort of glow
Dislikes: - it's a bit too oily for my skin - i'd have to put some powder on my face to make it less oily - why is the tube so small?? like, i have a big-ish face :| lol.
Overall, I do like this product and I will continue using it. It's perfect for campus ^_^
I was really excited when I finally saw this on the shelf at Clicks! I'd heard so much about the product and couldn't wait to try it. And it actually delivers what it promises!!! I don't like wearing make up every day, but I have acne and some old acne scars, so going completely bare can be a bit scary. The Garnier BB Cream offers good coverage, moisturiser, contains SPF-15, Vitamin C for blemishes and anti-aging ingredients. So it really is an all-in-one product! I have oily skin and I'm prone to break outs, but this did not leave my skin looking or feeling oily and I didn't have any break outs after using it for a week. My new must-have for the year! I've been suggesting it to all my friends as well!
A product that actually delivers what it promises! Although I still need to add a stronger sunscreen, it provides a beautiful sheer coverage that looks completely natural & moisturises too...
I really love this product. I always used to wear a very light layer of foundation during the day (I hate the "cakey" look), but this really does the trick! I also think it's a great product considering the low price. I'm very pale, so I was scared that I would get the "tide-mark" look (ie a different coloured face to everything else), but the light shade works really well on my skin.
I got mine in medium and must say it blended well into my skin, no obviously tell tale colour lines. It’s quick and easy to use with your fingers and requires no skill! A plus for girls on the go or those who are not make up fundi’s.
Only negative thing I have to say is that it definitely melts in the african sun and will stain your clothing , luckily it is easily removed by washing powder:).
Garniers BB cream has become and everyday addition to my morning routine and I love the instant glow you have once applied. It’s cost effective at R80 and lasts for more than a two months!
I tried this product today and love it! I got similar results with the Bobbi Brown Moisturising foundation and this one is so much cheaper. Definitely going out to buy it tomorrow.
My friend told me about BB cream and said it was the best product to use when on the go or on holiday. I decided to try the product and was very happy to be able to purchase the product at my local grocery store at an affordable price. I think my skin tone would match somewhere between light and medium, but the medium colour suited fine just after the summer holidays as my skin was a bit darker The product does not give full coverage like a cream foundation, but it has a light feel and evens out all spots and marks When I need more coverage, but I'm in a hurry, I combine BB cream and a bit of foundation and smooth it over my face with both hands. If needed I will then only cover up a few flaws with concealer and I'm good to go
I have been using my BB cream for a few days now, I moved from using the Body Shop BB cream, and I must say this one is much better and half the price! I love how my skin looks as I first apply it, wish it would last though as I do have a long days out and about. Find it needs to be touched up often, I look very washed out by the end of the day, and I've had a few break outs with this initial use, but that does tend to happen when I first use a skin product. Im hoping my skin will adjust soon ;-)

This is definitely my WOW product of the month! I tried a sample of the Garnier BB cream in Fair and it was amazing! I must say I was a bit apprehensive at first because my skin is extremely sensitive and I am easily prone to break outs but this product worked wonderfully on my skin! I had the flawless, dewy complexion with just the right amount of coverage! The best part was that my skin did not feel heavy or clogged, it just looked fresh and radiant all day!
So recently I ran out of foundation and decided to mix the last few drops with my moisturizer and loved the effect. I went to Clicks today and realized I was just making a home made BB cream and decided to get this. At R79.99 it is really affordable. I applied it as soon as I got home and when it touched my face i noticed it felt quite sticky and I had to blend it in quite a bit before the stickiness went away. I liked the color on my skin, it matched perfectly. I chose the medium shade and I am a NC 44.5 What I didn't like was that this BB cream just seemed to make all my oily areas on my skin shin even more. The dry areas of my skin (I have combination skin) looked absolutely beautiful though. I needed up applying face powder over the BB cream to get a matte look. After all, I do like the product. Its a quick fix in the morning and its simpler than applying foundation everyday and a lot more moisturizing and good for the skin. Powder can be applied quite quickly so it doesn't add much to my routine.
I received mine as a freebie from Clicks in Canal Walk and the Medium matches my skin color perfectly. My skin has been rather oily of late so I find that this product seems to make this worse. Its super sheer - so would be great for those looking for a very natural appearance / to use as a primer before applying foundation. Not my favorite product though..
So I finally got around to trying Garnier's BB cream, to be honest I have never been a huge BB fan as I have already found my ultimate lightweight base (Clinique Even Better) and it works perfectly for me so why venture off into BB land.
There has been much confusion as Garnier actually have two versions of this cream the Asian one and the US version, sadly here in SA we only get the US version. The consistency among other things differ completely so when one hears all the hype about how amazing their BB cream is it is most likely the Asian version.
During the relaxed holiday when one can't be bothered to apply a cream then foundation etc and you want to be able to slap one thing on that moisturizes as well as helps to unify ones skin, I decided this was the ideal time to test this out.
I got both light and medium just to see. As I generally have a fairer complexion on my face but as I also don't want to look too washed out, I thought perhaps a medium would work for when I my body is bit more tanned to match.
Firstly I found the shade to be very yellow, not flattering nor in line with my complexion. One has to blend a lot to create an even shade. It is very greasy but not very moisturizing which I found to be disappointing. After just an hour of wearing it I looked so greasy and it felt like a mask that I had to wash it off.
Overall I would never waste my money on this product however if you do prefer BB creams to foundation then there are far better options to choose from.
I am truly in love with this beauty balm, or blemish balms. Whatever you wanna call it. I use it as a primer for my makeup and also on a good skin day, I only need to wear some BB cream and mascara. It's easy to apply and it leaves ,y skin with an amazing glow! It's not that expensive either. On days when my skin looks a little bad, I love mixing my BB cream with some foundation. Always works like a charm. I also find it helpful to mix some if the BB cream with my primer. It provides me seem coverage and helps my makeup last longer. Will buy this again!
