I simply love this shampoo. Due to my age and hormonal changes, my hair has been very dry and brittle. The moment I apply some shampoo I can feel the difference. Most days I do not even need to use conditioner. This is a very good buy.
I am loving this shampoo. I straighten my hair a lot so it tends to get dry and damaged but this shampoo has really brought my hair back to life even though I still straighten my hair. With the amazing price you honestly cant beat it. The quality is just amazing and I will never stop loving the smell. Im excited to try the other types of Dove shampoo.
I struggle to keep my hair in good condition due to having a thryoid problem which dries my hair out. I have been using this shampoo for just over a month now & find that it agrees with my hair and gives me some respite from the dryness between washes. I had my hair cut last weekend and even the hairdresser remarked that the condition of my hair had improved-a first in 20 years.
A little on the expensive side, but well worth it! My hair has never been happier and tamer :) My hairdresser even commented that she has never seen curly hair in such good condition, definite thumbs up to Dove!
The best thing about these Dove products is that they are rich, luxurious and feel like real quality - without weighing your hair down! How do they manage that? I have a problem with a build up. For example, I even get build up when I use Pantene's clarifying shampoo. I've never had this problem with a Dove product - this shampoo or conditioner. I LOVE DOVE!
So I had the pleasure of being given the Dove Nourishing Oil Shampoo and Conditioner to review, which is strange because I just went out and bought one of the ranges to try since I had been hearing such good things about it. Been using it now for about a week and I have to say, I am impressed. I am quite a brand loyal person so when I started using a previous hair product I was hooked and thought my life would be over when it was discontinued. However, Dove has brought me back to life, with a great smelling shampoo to a conditioner which squeezes out a lovely mixture twist of yellow and white which admit it, is kinda cool, I just love it! And come to think about it, everyone at work has been asking me if I have been to the hairdresser ( please note this is every time I wash my hair) so all in all we can honestly say that Dove Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner does everything that is claims to do and more. The only problem I need to master still is the silky soft mixture slipping out my hand, wastage you might gasp, but hey, that’s just another excuse to buy more ?
So on that note, here’s to silky smooth, great smelling hair with no split ends and rats tails, enjoy!
I was so amped about giving my first critical review when I received the Dove hair products to test. Skeptical because surely nothing could be better than the current expensive solon products I was using. How sadly I was mistaken!
From the moment I popped the lid, I loved everything about the product! Every sense was tingled. It smelled delicious! Pouring the golden-goop into the hollow of my hand, made me feel like a princess! The shampoo formed a creamy rich lather, gliding like silk through my fingers as my hands played around in the glorious foam. After rinsing, my hair felt soft and light, not too conditioned as it normally does with some other shampoos and conditioners.
The final test was yet to confirm if had found new best bath-friend. How would my hair feel after blow-drying it? The result? Like stroking a clean smooth feathered dove! It was glimmering and revitalized.
This shampoo is amazing, with my super thick frizzy hair its difficult to find something that cleans without leaving my hair even drier, but this was fantastic, my hair feels beautifully clean but not stripped, and the scent is divine. This product delivers on its promises, it smoothes dry, rough & frizzy hair. add it to your shopping list now.
The packaging is a lovely gold and usual dove white. The information on the packaging is to the point and informative. My hair is oily at the roots and dry at the tip and is frizzy and has a lot of volume. after I washed my hair it felt silky and smooth and smelt amazing. Also it was great as it did not make my hair oily as I thought it would. I didn’t like the fact that it gave my hair so much volume as my hair is fluffly on it’s on so I want something that would weigh down my hair. The range contains very nice natural oils of almond an coconut as stated in their ingredients. I also noticed my hair being less fizzy as what it claimed to do. Its affordable and really does what it claims to do.The shampoo is a lovely gold liquid and is much thicker than other shampoos which is great as you can then use less product to get the job done. It really cleans the hair well. Really recommend this to anybody who has dry,frizzy or rough hair.
I was thrilled to be picked to test out the new Nourishing Oil range that Dove has just recently launched!Thanks BB!!! While I was extremely impressed with the conditioner, I wasnt as impressed with the shampoo. The shampoo formulation smells great and you only need a small amount to clean hair thoroughly, but I found when I used the shampoo in combo with the conditioner, my hair was left a bit fluffy and not as sleek and shiny as when I used my normal Morocconoil shampoo in combination with the Nourishing Oil daily care conditioner. I think this is just my hair-type and preference as I had a brazilian keratin treatment about five months ago and still dont need to straighten or style my hair much when using the Morocconoil shampoo and the Dove, but my hair didnt look sleek enough after using the Dove shampoo and conditioner and I was forced to go back to my GHD. That said I think the Dove shampoo isnt bad and would probably work well if you werent looking for a very sleek, straight look as my hair still looked healthy and had great volume, so no weighing down or greasiness.
The Dove Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo and Conditioner are such wonderful products!!! Awesome :-D Normally my hair is very dull and those products really lit up my hair and the great thing about it is that other people notice the change in my hair-do. Dove made my hair sessions so much easier. Thank you!!!
I have ethnic hair and a medium texture, at first i thought its for Caucasian hair but as soon as i was done with the treatment ohh my word, my hair was soft full of life and smelling great.....
