My hair and skin is prone to being oily and I tend to stay away from anything that has the word "oil" in it. It was with trepidation that I initially tried the product, but I was more than pleasantly surprised. After using both shampoo and conditioner for 9 days, my hair is soft and silky and not at all the oily mess it normally would be after conditioning daily. What I have found, though, is that my skin is slightly more oily than before, but that it is easily managed by not conditioning every day. Do yourself a favour and try Dove Nourishing Oil Shampoo and Conditioner for a week - your hair will thank you for it.
The new DOVE NOURISHING OIL CARE RANGE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER is the best. It has a yellowish, thick,smooth,creamy texture which smells divine. I have used it the past week and my hair feels silky and soft. Would definite recommend it to all to try at least once, you wont be sorry.
I was thrilled to be picked to test out the new Nourishing Oil range that Dove has just recently launched!Thanks BB!!! While I was extremely impressed with the conditioner, I wasnt as impressed with the shampoo. The shampoo formulation smells great and you only need a small amount to clean hair thoroughly, but I found when I used the shampoo in combo with the conditioner, my hair was left a bit fluffy and not as sleek and shiny as when I used my normal Morocconoil shampoo in combination with the Nourishing Oil daily care conditioner. I think this is just my hair-type and preference as I had a brazilian keratin treatment about five months ago and still dont need to straighten or style my hair much when using the Morocconoil shampoo and the Dove, but my hair didnt look sleek enough after using the Dove shampoo and conditioner and I was forced to go back to my GHD. That said I think the Dove shampoo isnt bad and would probably work well if you werent looking for a very sleek, straight look as my hair still looked healthy and had great volume, so no weighing down or greasiness.

I have only recently started using the product (thanks to BeautyBulletin)and OMG, why didn't I use it before. I use my hair straightner every single day and that always left my hair dry and I am embarrassed to say but it would start itching after a while because it was so dry. Now, I can style my hair and it doesn't itch and stays straight, shiny and healthy until the next wash. Dove have certainly got a winner with this product and I will NEVER use another product again. Come on ladies.....TRY IT :)
This shampoo is amazing. As I straighten my hair often it tends to get dry and rough, so I was very excited to receive this product. It made my hair feel strong and smooth, as well as shiny. I love the weightless nutri oils and I feel they really do replenish the lost nutrients in my hair. This shampoo has a pleasant scent and I would definitely recommend it. It is worth it for the price you pay.
The Dove Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo and Conditioner are such wonderful products!!! Awesome :-D Normally my hair is very dull and those products really lit up my hair and the great thing about it is that other people notice the change in my hair-do. Received my Dove Nourishing oil Shampoo and Conditioner. Just after two washes i can feel the difference in my hair. I dye my hair often and it normally dry and brittle and frizzy..After using the two I can easily slip comb through my hair and , My hair is glossy and much smoother.
Did not enjoy this product at all. Felt like it did the total opposite for me. After using these products it made my hair feel weighed down and greasy. Would not use it again.
The Dove conditioner coupled with the shampoo has made by hair dance with joy!! I cannot begin to tell you how fantastic my hair feels for the 1st time in 2 years. As mentioned in the shapoo review, I am Hypothroid & have had an uphill battle trying to find the right mix for my troubled hair-I must have the largest collection of different shampoos and conditioners& what not in the country-now they are all going in the bin!!!Thank you Dove and Beauty Bulletin for making my life a little easier. DOVE ROCKS!!!!!!
As I am Hypothroid my hair is normally in an awful condition. I tried out the Dove shampoo today and all I can say is WOW! my hair is soft, but manageable and not a sign of frizz and smells like a country garden. Thank you Beauty Bulletin for sending me this product!!!
I have ethnic hair and a medium texture, at first i thought its for Caucasian hair but as soon as i was done with the treatment ohh my word, my hair was soft full of life and smelling great.....

I enjoyed trying out this product, it smells really amazing as all dove products do! The Shampoo made my hair feel so clean, the treatment Conditioner made my hair hard to style after using it. I tried to use and then leave my hair to dry naturally and then it was amazing no frizz, very light and bouncy!
I enjoy testing products with eachother.... on its own, this shampoo is great, leaving the hair squeeky clean but soft enough to know that you are using a very nourishing product! when used in conjunction with any other Dove conditioner, results are still great but not entirely satisfying in terms of frizz. soo, I tried using it in conjunction with the Dove oil nourishing conditioner, and it gave perfect results for frizz free hair! :) gold star!
After just one wash I can honestly say I understand why Dove has won so many awards and achieved Product of the Year status. Left my hair in awesome condition.

On the package is says “ Dove’s unique nourishing care system contains a weightless blend of natural almond and coconut oils which are rapidly absorbed to deeply nourish and replenish essential nutrients”
I do agree. I like the packaging as I do not like to buy bottles too big, so this is good for the space in the shower. You really only need to use a very little amount as it is quite foamy. It’s got a lovely rich golden colour and smells nice too. My hair normally feels very tangled after shampooing, although I have short hair, but was surprised that it was not the case using the Dove shampoo. Will definitely use it !! Even whent to the shop today to check out the price. Not bad at all!!
I am thoroughly impressed with this shampoo as I felt it left my hair feeling clean and soft without stripping it of natural moisture. My tresses feel feather-light but are devoid of fluff as the Weightless Nutri-Oils give this shampoo an edge on other lack-lustre shampoos. After using this product only once, I am delighted with the sleek, pure condition of every strand.
