Dove Colour Radiance Shampoo

I was pleasantly surprised with this product. After 6 weeks of shampooing with Dove Colour Radiance Shampoo, my hair feels softer, dries quicker, doesn't tangle nearly as much and is a joy to straighten or style! This shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean, super soft, shiny, healthy and even stronger! The smell is also sweet and fragrant- just what you want your hair to smell like!

The price is also reasonable, I am truly happy with this product and have become a Dove hair-care convert because of it! Keep up the amazing work Dove- I will be sure to keep purchasing your products!

I only use the dove bar on my body, as it is the safest for sensitive skin and it always keeps my skin feeling soft and well moisturised.

So when BB sent me that long awaiting email about having to be successful at reviewing some Dove products I was super excited.

The conditioner was absolutely amazing! I hardly use conditioner as my hair gets oily quite quickly, so I tend to always use more Shampoos than conditioners.

Unfortunately, this shampoo made my hair feel dry and 'hay-like' It felt hard and seemed dull. However - when using it with the Conditioner, it felt VERY nice! Had an awesome shine - but of course, my hair was oily by the very next day....

Well worth the spend!i need to colour my hair roughly every 6 to 8 weeks! This shampoo not only smells good but enables me to stretch my every second day wash to an every third day wash by keeping mg hsir clean soft and shiny thereby i dont add serums and heat defense spray and therefore less product build up! I've even managed to sport red tones in my hair which wash out the easiest because this shampoo really does what if says! This colour radiance hair leaves you with soft glossy healthy n radiant hair and because of the healthy state it leaves your hair in you wash your hair less frequently, use less hair product and you'd colour lasts longer!

I have been using Dove colour radiance shampoo for a month now and i can really see the difirence in my hair. it leaves my hair shiney, clean and i love the smell it really works well with my hair as i have thick, curly, frizzy hair and it works wonderful with my hair

Let me start off with saying, I have tried Dove shampoos and they have not worked for me at all so I kinda wrote their hair care range off completely as useless and wished they just stuck to body care. Then a couple of weeks ago I was sent the complete new range by Dove called Colour Radiance which is designed to maintain and make your dye job last longer. I'll admit that I went in with absolutely no expectations at all I figured that they would be like all the others, BOY WAS I WRONG!

One of the biggest things that stand out about this range is the scent, even with all the bottles being sealed with tape the very first thing I was hit with when opening the packaging it was shipped in was the strong sweet and fruity smell. I am totally obsessed with it, all of them have the same scent but the leave in conditioning & care spray is one of the products that has the strongest scent that last the longest in and I'm glad because it's the one product that I don't think I'll stop using anytime soon.

The range consists of 5 products. The normal everyday shampoo & conditioner, the daily treatment conditioner, the deep repair treatment mask and the leave-in conditioning & care spray. All of these products have the normally shampoo and conditioner creamy texture and consistency. With all of them you only need a very little product and what I loved the most is that they rinse out very easily. You aren't left with any of that product feel or buildup. The other thing I noticed is that my hair would stay cleaner for a extra day and I don't get that bump from my hair being tied up and it's much tamer and doesn't need as much styling to get it under control. The conditioners you alternate and don't use them all at once, so you definitely get all the treatment and conditioning needed. I'll admit that I don't see a real big difference in the lasting power of my dye job though (I dyed my hair immediately when I started using this range to test the theory out) I kind feel it took about the same amount of time for it to fade and start growing out.

The best product by far in this entire range has been the spray in conditioner, which is meant to condition your hair both before and after heat styling but also to add some conditioning back in days after your wash. I wash my hair and dry it and then I spray it in just before styling it with my GHD and it has been amazing.

This is a really amazing range that I have purchased again and I don't think Ill stop using anytime soon it really does do a very good job for dyed hair

I have to say that since day one I have fallen utterly in love with the Dove Colour Radiance Range.
Because it does what it says and so much more!
The shampoo is so easy to use and a little bit does go a long way as I have said so many times before.
Some days I have done a single shampoo routine and other days a 2 day routine and either way I have not been disappointed. The smell is also so clean and fresh reminds you of the good old clean dove Smell we all came to love!
The bottle is also easy manageable, easy to transport in your luggage does not take up too much of you space in the closet (or the shower shelf!)
My hair really looks revitalised, radiant and I have received so many compliments, even from my hair dresser about how good my hair colour still looks after 3 months of having coloured it last! I really do love my hair!

This range is amazing. Having used and blogged about it for a couple of weeks now, I can safely say that this range is perfect for those with coloured and treated hair.

My hair is shinier, softer, easy to manage, and smells amazing after using the range.

My absolute favourite product is the Colour Radiance Conditioner (see my individual reviews on each product for more) - I cannot recommend it enough.

It's safe to say that I will definitely be using this in the future.

Firstly some background on my hair :

* has been hi-lighted and coloured since I left school (which is a long time ago ;-).

* is of medium thickness, but there are lots of it! (see pic - resembling an explosion in a matrass factory ;-)).

* is dry with some colour damage (I try to avoid heat styling as far as possible!).

* is wavy & tends to frizz when humidity is high (I try not to scare the neighbourhood kids :-).

* tangles easily (Medusa meets Jerseylicious hair teasing disaster!)

* is red at the moment (which colour pigments and intensity are the most difficult to maintain!)

* has been re-coloured only a week ago.

* is used to Pantene Pro-V products, as I searched high and low for something that can tame my mane & especially get the tangles out!

Here are my thoughts on the shampoo:

1) The Shampoo smells great. (Even days after washing the smell lingers - especially when I style or brush my hair).

2) The Shampoo lathers & foams a lot! LOVE IT! You only have to use a little at a time and it covers my mane easily! Yay!

3) Love the feel of my hair while washing. Maybe my imagination, but my hair felt instantly cleaner.

4) To all shampoo companies: PLEASE look at the font size on your labels! Once again I nearly got the Shampoo & Conditioner mixed up. I am a contact lens wearer & the moment something gets in my eyes, I can't read the labels properly. If only companies can enlarge SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER & not use a white font on pink, all would be well in my world!

5) After rinsing shampoo (which was quicker than I thought with all that lather), my hair really did feel clean.

FINAL VERDICT: Even after the first wash, my hair Looked and felt so much healthier, revitalised & moisturised! Houston, we don't have a problem, we have a solution! YAY for DOVE COLOUR RADIANCE!

Dove Colour Radiance Shampoo comes in an easy to handle bottle that makes it easy to squeeze out the shampoo with we hands.

The scent was just like any other shampoos and so was the texture. I applied the shampoo to my we hair and began to work through my hair and scalp. A good lather formed and I rinsed my hair.

There was nothing exciting about using the shampoo, it was just like any other shampoo, however, I believe it contributed towards the revival of my dull hair and slowly disappearing colour.

On the negative side, I don't feel this shampoo is good for people with dry scalps or flaking. My scalp felt dry and itchy a day after use. With my normal shampoo, it takes a week before I start to have an itchy scalp that needs a shampoo.

I am absolutely in love with the new range. My hair is softer, easier to manage and the colour is definitely more radiant than ever before. The price is fantastic, very affordable. I love that Dove has products that are available everywhere and at a good price, and that it is worth every cent!!!

Before I start my review, I just want to say that I used this shampoo in conjunction with the rest of the dove range, as it was developed as a system I would recommend it being used this way for best results.

This shampoo lathers well without making your hair feel dry and "squeaky" clean, you can actually feel that this is a gentle and conditioning shampoo. It also contains lower sulphate formulation to help your colour stay vibrant for longer. Something else I noticed was that my red hair colour didn't "bleed", when I rinsed my hair the water was mostly clear with only a hint of pink, which is much better than the usual murder scene RED. And not only does it not make your hair colour fade, it actually brightens your hair colour and makes it look more vibrant - like it has just been coloured. And an added bonus is, this shampoo can be used daily. So if you are someone with naturally oily hair or you just love the feeling of freshly washed hair everyday, you can use this product without worrying about your colour fading or drying out your hair. This shampoo smells so lovely and I would definitely recommend that you try it for yourself. I am hugely impressed with it.

Has a great effect on my hair and makes it soft and shiny, leaving it with a great scent. Definitely brings out the colour in your hair.
