You get a surprisingly great result with Yardley Longwear Lipsticks. The colour pay-off is great, the formula is less drying than some of it's pricier counterparts and the finish is a lovely matte.
Just ensure that you exfoliate and moisturise (then wipe off the excess) before applying. The product will enhance dry, cracked or chapped lips, so prep is key.
Overall, a great product with reasonable wear time and stays true to colour.

Purchased 5 of the same shade on the same day ... Yup its just that good!
Raisin by farrrrr has to be my absolute favorite shade.
Its matte and does not rub off even after countless cups of tea (yes I'm not a coffee kind of girl.

It doesn't break the bank too which is great for the quality you're getting here.
I've worn this shade countless times and is my go to shade.

As I have said in my other reviews, I am a sucker for budget beauty items. The Yardley Longwear Lips certainly did not disappoint. I bought two shades, Vintage Rose and Raisin, for R40 each (normal retail price: R99.99) on sale at Dischem. The Vintage Rose is a dusty pink shade. The Raisin is a much deeper burgundy colour that is SO on trend right now. Although neither are matte lipsticks, they both have a bit of a matte finish. Unlike most matte lipsticks, however, it is not tacky or drying, and applies smoothly for comfortable wear. For a longwear lipstick, this product lasts, but not as long as you'd hope for a product that claims to do so.

Nevertheless, these lipsticks have definitely become my go-to colours for a night out. LOVE!

This lipstick is wonderful! The colour does last for a really long time, and the colours are pretty and vibrant and true to colour. It can be a bit drying if you don't moisturise your lips first though, so do make sure that is done. The lipstick applies easily and does not feel strange on the lips, which is nice. It has a slight matte look to it, but I really love that. The smell is also soft, nothing too extreme and definitely not unpleasant. The price is also great.

I have re- purchased this product over 4 or 5 times! I just cant remember how many times, because I loved it that much! :) My sister recently took one of mine in "Nude" which happens to be my FAVOURITE colour!

I love how smoothly and softly it applies onto the lips. It is also pigmented, but what I love about it, is you can make the colour buildable on your lips. You can have it lightly shading your lips, or you can have a full on RICH pigmentation by applying it a little more onto the lips!

It is what it says "longwearing" and long lasting on the lips! I love how the colour slightly matifies as well after having applied it, so it doesnt give that "disco ball" shine! I love it, I think for the product, the price point it great and WORTH it.

So I just found a new love, the Yardley Longwear Lips. Lately I’ve being loving the dark lips look, so I went on and got myself this lipstick in the colour Raisin. Am I impressed or what? So I put this “longwear” lipstick to the test. In the morning as usual while to my makeup, went through eating breakfast and lunch and believe me it was still on my lips. I only reapplied once throughout the day. It has the matt look but thankfully not drying. Its available from major beauty stores and retails for just under R100.

This lipstick is very pigmented and long lasting. A few swipes and I am done. By lunch time I normally need a touch up - but of course with the amount of tea and coffee I drink that is no wonder.
I bought this in three colours; coral, watermelon and true nude. Watermelon is nice and bright more to the redish/ pinkish side, the Coral is more subdued than watermelon with more of an orange-y shade to it. The True Nude is not at all dull and has a light pink shade to it.
I love them all!

Yardley have a great colour selection of these. I love that they stay true to their word, these lippies are long lasting and well pigmented. They are slightly drying but nothing that a little lip balm of gloss can't fix. Perfect for work or a night out.

This is a true classic and it is a true favourite for me. I have used these lip colours for a long time and my fav by far is the Nude shade. I have yet to meet another nude that suits me so perfectly. It does tend to dry out my lips but that's why I have 8 Hour Cream haha.

Now this is an all time favorite fell in love with this lipstick which i tested for my wedding day 5 years ago and still invest in this product, STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI is my shade with the red lip trend that seems to flair yearly

I was rummaging through my friends cosmetic bag and found this in the shade 'raisin' . I tried it out and loved the color immediately and how nicely it glided on. We went out, ate and drank to our hearts content and when we got back this lipstick was still on my lips and I noticed they looked plumper than normal. The next day I had to go and purchase this along with a pretty pink shade- vintage rose. Sometimes I prefer using a clear gloss over this because it tends to feel a bit dry but still an amazing lipstick !

Ive been wearing this brand for years! And these two colours are like soap to me! Meaning they are so essential to me that whenever they finish i buy them again! They are longwear, apply smoothly last the entire day and unfortunately do feel a little dry! They are a solid red brown and brown colour respectively! No shimmer! No sparkle! I love these lipsticks! I will always continue to wear them!

Ive been using this brand for years! My two favourite colours are plumberry and sienna! They apply smoothly and appear to set on the lips, a little drying but a solid full colour matte lipstick that doesnt bleed or feather and lasts the distance! Mine lasts 8 hours without a touch up! Pity its not transfer resistant: my coffee cups absorb a fair amount of colour but being richly pigmented even when i arrive home i have a subtle wash of colour on my lips thats acceptable for me! Love this range! The perfect workwear lipstick

These are awesome. This is my must have. i have them in Nude and Raisin. What i love about them is that they last long even after eating and drinking. Love them :)

A pout perfect shade in rich rosy radiance!

I have this lip stick in the colour Mocha which is a burnt redish brown with shimmer. This lipstick has a lovely smooth texture which glides on lips effortlessly. Once applied this lipstick is long lasting and can go throughout the day, no transfers and no smudging. Plus I love the lipstick tube, it's black with white flowers which I thought was really cute. I also liked that the lipstick isn't too waxy so there's no heavy feeling on lips. I would recommend you give this product a try. It's long lasting and really affordable.

Revlon products are moderately priced but this one is certainly worth it as it lasts long and there is no need to touch up so the tube goes a long way. I prefer the toned down colours as I am not daring and adventurous but a great range to suit all tastes.

Super long wear. Remain even. Not easily chewed off. Great colour range, i prefer the not so bright colours. Can be slightly dry but not enough to put me off. Goes on easily.

I was looking for a fairly neutral matte lipstick to wear to an event a few months ago. I stumble on the Yardley Long Wear Lipstick in the vintage rose shade. It wasn't as neutral as i had hoped, but it was an amazing shade for my skin tone nonetheless.

I love how easily it glides onto my lips and not to mention the amount of time it stays on. Even when it does fade after a long day or eating, it doesn't clump on the edges of my lips like I've found other lipsticks to do.

I'd definitely recommend this to everyone. :)

As the name indicates, this lasts all day and night long with very little noticeable fading! Also it does not rub off easily onto anything. Keeps lips well moisturised as it has vitamin E as an added pampering bonus.

Yardley lipsticks rock.

I have always been a fan of Yardley products and their lispticks have a great consistency as well as being priced really well as they last for a long time as long as you store them in a cupboard.
the colour range is great and the intensity of the colours are great. It means if you use a good gloss over then your lips will stay beautifully coloured all day~

Stays on for very long.Iam happy with this product.

I was lucky enough to walk into Clicks and see that they had a beauty sale on. Always on the look out for bargains, I started scratching around in the boxes laden with all sorts of make up, from no names to big names.

I saw that Yardley lipsticks where on sale for R14.99...now thats a bargain if I ever saw one. I figured out later, that Yardley had made a boo boo by not printing the name of the colour on the lipstick, so I guess that is why they were going for such a bargain.

I then noticed that the lipstick was a long wear brand, I am a bit skeptical about long wear brands, as they either dry out your lips, or rub off in bits and pieces. But I was pleasantly surprised to notice that my Yardley long wear did neither of these.

The lipstick glides on softly and easily, lasts what I think a reasonable amount of time on my lips considering it has to undergo a bombardment of coffee and croissants and they have great colours available.

It apparently contains Vitamin E to replenish moisture and natural anti-oxidants and also contains filling spheres for fuller lips. I guess thats why my lips are loving this brand!

For a cheaper product, the quality was quite impressive!
