This is an amazing sunscreen and is perfect for the whole family on any beach day or pool day.
The texture is soft and creamy and applies well .It is water resistant and feels like a regular lotion.
Love the fact that it's not sticky and doesn't make you feel uncomfortable like most sunscreens .
The SPF is also quite high which I am happy with as I always look for something with a high SPF.
Good product if you spending a day on the beach.

Tropitone is a name you associate with sunscreens but they have a much wider range than just that there are self tans, cooling gels (that even without sunburn you can slap on and it offers a nice cooling refreshing sensation) and tanning oils (that I don’t approve of as we all know the damaging effects of the sun on our skin but this does make a nice moisturising oil on top of your sunscreen)
My faves out of the range has to be:

Non greasy, water resistant, nice and light weight, quickly and easily absorbed, doesn’t leave a white cast residue on my skin, bottles are shaped to easily hold and come in a pump format so it is no mess no fuss, smells heavely and offers a gorgeous subtle gold shimmer to the skin (as I’m all about the bling bling :) )

Tropitone products have always been a success in my household. Growing up in a family of seven, sunscreen has always been the first things on our minds when packing for our annual summer holidays to the beautiful Transkei.
The great thing about Tropitone is the variety of choice one has. There are different SPF's to choose from for different skin types. Normally we use the higher SPF on our faces, with a lower SPF for the rest of our bodies. Thus ensuring protection whilst also enabling us to get those golden tans!
Tropitone also is very easily absorbed, protecting our skin from the harsh summer rays whilst leaving it smooth and not too oily. I find a lot of different sunscreens brands can leave my skin feeling oily, which leads to acne problems! But with Tropitone, I never have to worry about the after-effects of bad skin.
And that is why Tropitone is always the #1 choice for my family!

We have the spf 40 water babies variety at home that cost R89.99 for 200mls
Its CANSA endorsed fragrance free, alcohol free and gentle sunscreens won’t irritate sensitive skin. It is enriched with Teavigo Green Tea Extract, which helps eliminate excess free radicals that are known to cause skin damage.
I find that its the one product that the whole family can use!
My son who has eczema and very sensitive skin tolerates this product so well we've been using the different varieties including the tutti frutti and magic block brands through different stages of my kids growing up.
You can get spf 30;40 which is the one we are currently using and spf 50.
There is spray formulation or lotion.
There is fragranced and fragrance free.....my boys loved the tutti frutti variety
There is oil free which i have used on my face and water resistant
There is sunscreen and total complete sunblock variety
Even a variety that allows you to tan without burning and give you a golden luscious summer glow

I have tried many suntan lotions but tropitone is the best for me.It is not sticky or smells funny. I like the smell of it as it always reminds me of the sea seeing that i live in Jhb. Also it has the highest protection from the sun. If they could make a moisturizer cream i would be the first to use that product. Hint - Hint..

I have tried many different fake tan lotions and sprays and have always been extremely disappointed after using them. They made my skin look orange, my hands looked like I was a life-long smoker from the yellow stains, and I had a hugely obvious colour variation between my neck and my base line-every time it was an awful experience! Untill...I was desperate for something to use to give my skin a healthy glow for my matric dance and my cousin handed me her bottle of Tropitone. Of course i was sceptical because i had only ever had negative experiences before with other brands, i thought surely they are all the same. But, I thought orange would probably be a little better in photos than lilly white, right!? So i smothered it on, hoping and praying...and what i ended up with was a beautifully natural looking sun-kissed tan! I looked fabulous if i may say so myself, and all of my friends couldnt stop giving me complements for how tanned i was. I was delighted! Tropitone is now always my secret weapon, I have a fantastic tan all year round and I couldnt be happier! :D HOPING TO WIN!!!

Growing up near the beach we always had tropitone in the house, the scent alone makes you nostalgic! I don't use sunscreen as often as I did when I was younger (spending a lot more time indoors) but what what I can remember about tropitone is that it absorbs really fast, it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy with beach sand getting stuck to you like a magnet on a fridge and it did it's job pretty well with preventing sun burn, I burn blisters within 20 minutes if I don't use any. The price is really affordable as well, as I've noticed some sun protection can cost you an arm and a leg!
Now having moved to a beach town again I think I'd better stock up on some tropitone - the highest SPF please - as I already had a sunburn and we've been here just under 3 weeks!

I am a huge fan of Tropitone because to me that's what summer smells like and I live for the summer! But my favorite Tropitone product would have to be the Tropitone Bronze It Selftan. The smell is gorgeous and it works like a bomb. And best of all you can look tanned all year long without having to be in the harsh sun (athough Tropitone has excellent sun protection products!) It has milk extracts to prevent streaking and one can see the results from 4-6 hours. Available at Dischem for just R84.95 means it's an absolute must have!

The first brand of sunscreen I ever used on my daughter's skin, was Tropitone. I bought it for our first family holiday, when she was only 7 months old. She has extremely sensitive skin, and she has had reactions to several lotions, but the Tropitone waterbabies sunscreen didn't irritate her delicate skin at all. The formula is quite thick, it's not a thin lotion, but it still absorbs well and doesn't leave the skin overly greasy. I use it on myself too, because I also have sensitive skin, and the water babies sunscreen doesn't contain any alcohol or fragrance, which is always a BIG plus in my books. It's a bit pricey, but you can't put a price on your little one's (or your own) skin. I highly reccommend this for every baby bag, and anyone with sensitive skin's hand bag, too. I carry a mini bottle full of Tropitone water babies SPF 40 sunscreen in my handbag at all times.

I have been using tropitone since when I was a little girl going to the beach with my sister and mom to build sand castles. Sun protection was a must for my parents and they always taught us to use a good sun screen before going on the sun as well as reapply.
Tropitone is very affordable and easy to spread over the skin. Doesn't leave sking greasy, but moist instead.
I love all their range and use the "Tropitone Move it" sunscreen with SPF 30. I love how my colour changes to a gradual tan and doesn't leave me orange,cause the "Oros" look is really not attractive!
I am a Fan of their "Tan it Tan oil spray" which has a nice scent and does a great job to give the "sun godess look". Summer asks for tan and tanning is better with Trpitone! Also a tan skin makes you look slimmer and hides imperfections such as celullite.
They also have a "Sunless" range which auto tans without needing to be on the sun to get the beautiful tan look.
I am looking forward to have my Tropitone kit for this summer!Cheers to the long days at the beach with the girlfirends, cheers to the strawberry daquiris and sipping cocktails and fun!

This is definitely one of my must have and need products for summer to help with the easing of any sunburn, I mean who likes having sunburn it’s not fun or pretty at all.
Overall Tropitone by far makes one of the best after sun gels/treatments; with so many I’ve tried before it has worked the best and fastest.
The effects of Tropitone after sun, because it contains a cooling gel, so it works immediately soothes the burning sensation caused by sunburn which can really be painfully depending on the extent of your sunburn. It is also enriched with Monoi Tahitian Coconut Oil, which moisturizes to help reverse sun damage and keep skin healthy and supple.

I love this particular product as it is anti age and anti burn *uva and uvb. It goes well on super fast cos it's in a spray form and is absorbed quite fast, best part.... It's water and sweat resistant, so I can swim and not have to worry about sunburn.

I have been using tropitone for years! Love the deep tan dry oil as it protects my skin enough and also allows me to get a wonderfully golden tan. The Monoi Tahitian oil treats my skin to a silky smooth feel and helps it stay moisturised and glowing even after ive washed it off. And offcourse theres the all to familiar "sea holiday" smell! Takes me back to lying on the beach sipping cocktails wherever i am and using it! Also love the cool it after sun gel as i never peel after applying it. Light and cool, leaving my skin not so irritated and sore. I use the waterbabies spf 50 on my face as i have very sensitive skin. The Waterbabies milk spray is frangrance free, alcohol free and has Teavigo green tea extract which helps my skin stay clear from free radicals. I could write a book about the advantages of Tropitone and why you should use their products. But honestly, it's just a bunch of fabulous products that last, gives you protection, smells devine and really really works. Plus its not SUPER expensive!

Tripitone is definitely one of the brands I reach for when it's summer time!! Having an already tanned skin I always burn easily and the last thing I want is to be darker then I am.. I need a product thats high in SPF to prevent the sun's rays from damaging my skin.. I have very sensitive skin and not all the products I use work.. I need a product that really works Tripitone is for sure a must have summer item

I love the Tropitone products, as a fair skinned, red head with freckles the sun normally abuses me! With Tropitone I find that I don't go that lovely shade of lobster red! I use the SPF 30 and it works like a charm! Don't even peel after so BIG advantage of not looking like I have a skin disease after spending time in the sun! Absolutely love it!

I love Tropitone Sun Protection products as it is one of the most effective products out there.I usually use SPF 30 on my body and 40 on my face as there is nothing worse than burning a bright lobster colour and then turning into the walking dead with dead skin peeling off everywhere! So I make sure that if my family and I are going to be in the sun for long periods of time, we are covered with Tropitone Move it SPF 30/40 to protect from those harmful UVA & UVB Rays. The non-greasy formula is enriched with Monoi Tahitian Coconut Oil, which is known to enhance tanning while moisturizing to keep skin radiant and supple, so I know we'll be protected and sunkissed at the same time. #lovetropitone #lovesummer
