TRESemmé Botanic Hair Food

I must say, I love this product. Been using it for a little over 2 months now and I can see the difference in my hair growth.

Firstly, it’s a bit tricky having to review hair food especially when given a short amount of time to try out the product, hence why my review is late. But nonetheless worth the wait, thus, I can confidently say this product actually does exactly what it’s mean to do.

My hair has been healthy, strong, shiny and smelling amazing since using this particular product. I even took it with me to the salon so the could apply it during my treatment after my wash?.

I'm not much of a fan of hair food but I needed it, especially in the cold weather. It kept my scalp moisturized and I loved it for my ends

I loved how moisturizing this product is, I used this for creating sleek hair styles and it worked so well!

This product was not suitable for my hair type but I would definitely recommend it for people with dry and brittle hair.

Very oily. More suited for very dry brittle hair or to use before protective styling.

I was pleasantly surprised by how long the Tresemme Botanic Hair Food lasts. I'm not sure if it's because I didn't need to use it as often or if it's just meant to last that long, but it's affordable and good quality!
My only concern with it was that it kind of left my hair a bit oily and pasty after use, and meant that I had to rinse my hair out more than usual because of the build-up of product.

Overall impression: if you want your curls to last longer throughout the day, this product is perfect for that!

This product smells amazing but unfortunately it is not for my hair type. I have however used it for my scalp when doing protective styles and has really helped with the itchiness that sometimes comes with protective styling over time!

I suffer from dry scalp and a lot dandruff but after using the TRESemmè hair for a few weeks. I have to admit it is treating me so good. My scalp feels fresh, clean and healthier. It also leaves my hair shiny. I will definitely repurchase and recommend it for your natural

Although this product would be great for someone with really dry, brittle hair; I did not find it useful for my hair type as it did not help with the kinds of protective styles I currently use.

Personally, I found it greasy.

Also, long term usage (between wash days) was not possible as it made my hair really greasy. This resulted in me having to wash my hair each time I used the product.

I liked the fact that the product was free of silicones and dyes and I would recommend it to someone with dry, brittle hair and/ or a dry scalp.

This product is perfect for those with dry hair , it gives your hair a shine and easy to manage .

I honestly love TRESemméBotanic Hairfood, I would highly recommend this product for dry hair. It is not greasy at all and it just gives your hair a shine.

I always struggled to keep my hair looking healthy once it dried, but the moisture replenish range helped me maintain the shine, the hair food smells amazing and it really effective in keeping that fresh healthy look

The hair food is very oily and doesn't keep my hair moisturized for long. It is best used on wet hair, as your are about to put your hair in a protective style.

The consistency of this product was just amazing. I loved how it felt on my hair- it wasn't too greasy.

I'm a fan of hair oils and moisturizers. I love good quality products as well since i have fregile hair strands. This hairfood works wonders. Keeps my sculp moisturized giving my hair a bit of shine as well. Had really dry hair before receiving these products but my hair is totaly different now i love it.

This hair food is not too greasy and makes for easy and clean application to the scalp. Relieved my dry scalp shich hasn't been itchy since using it.

Personally not a huge fan of hairfoods but I did try this out a few times. Opted to use it on my hairline and now I have a use for hair food?. Not build which is great

I loved the texture and smell of this hairfood, not greasy yet moisturizes hair real well.
Most of my family members have purchased it and loved it.

I don’t think it moisturized my hair much tbh but my hair dries out quickly so I using it to seal the products in my hair after using the LCO method made my hair soft and the moisture lasted a while.

I use the LOC method and I prefer creams over hair food. I used the hair food as the oil just to get the feel of it and my hair loved it however I still prefer liquid oils. I'm totally inlove with the smell???

I love this hairfood ,it smells lovely and really moisturizing.Would have love for it to be in a bigger packaging but besides that it’s worth the purchase.

The oil mist and the hair food just couldn’t get absorbed by my hair. My hair would still be dry even after applying the product

Smells amazing, great texture! Replenishes moisture instantly. I wouldn’t suggest this for fine hair types though.

I love the smell of the hairfood. it smells devine, not too chemically strong and all that. and it helped keep my hair intact after I started experiencing breakage due to bleaching my hair. So yes, this is a definite must have.

Perfect for my hair especially during winter, moisturizes my scalp really well. Im very impressed with this product.

The texture of the hair food was absolutely amazing and smooth and applies so easily Overall, very pleasant to use over the hair.

The smell of the product is absolutely amazing. In fact enchanting :) It stays on the hair through out the day and as you walk, you can literally smell hues of the scent from your own hair! Loved this. The texture of the hair food is pretty good too as it is more moisturizing than the overall dry hair food that is out in the market. I also was impressed by this and this is what sets it apart from their competitors. Would have loved more bigger tub as my hair is 4c and tend to use alot of the product. Overall, very pleasant to use over the hair

This is also one of the best hair foods I've used in a while. The smell, and ingredients, in this product are fabulous and just what my hair needs! Again, a little goes a long way with this and I like to apply this directly onto my scalp and roots before massaging it outwards to my ends with the Rich Oil Mist. This comes heavily recommended by me and I'd gladly repurchase.

The quality and quantity is amazing, the smell is out of this world and I would highly recommend someone with natural hair to use it. The fact that the product has natural oils makes it even more appealing to me.

My hair is quite fragile, so I tend to be very picky with what I put on it. So before trying out the TRESemmé Botanic Hair Food I looked at its ingredients, to my surprise 90% of the products used were what I already use for my natural hair. I love this hair food because it keeps my hair soft and nourished in between my wash days making them a bit more manageable and less painful when combing

I'll start off by stating that I'm not a hair food user, simply because I don't like putting that many products on my hair.
2ndly, I tried the hairfood about 4 times, but found it's too oily for my hair type. I recommended it to two friends with different hair types and they loved it, for them it was the perfect product as their hair normally tends to get dry.

I would definitely recommend this if you have more fine curly hair or coily hair!

The Tresseme Botanic Hair Food Exceeded my expectations, it kept my hair nourished and soft my hair grew a few inches while using it, I was thoroughly impressed with the effectiveness of the product.

This was not my favorite product of the range, it was not for my type of hair.. But it work well for one of my friends

Although it doesn't do anything special I think it is very effective and serves its purpose

I enjoyed this hairfood . I used it as a sealant instead of a moisturizer because it feels more like a butter . I prefer creams as moisturizers but this worked great on top of my cream moisturizer to seal in the moisture. I also used it on its own with just water. I wouldn’t repurchase this hair food , not because it’s terrible but the one I’m currently using is better .

This hairfood is really bomb! I had dry itchy flaky scalp, then I washed my hair, let it air dry, then I applied the Tresemme botanic Hair food on my scalp and hair, my hair felt soft, it had a great refreshing smell, my scalp was left nourished and itch-free! I totally love it!

The Tresemme Botanic Hair food has a really pleasant smell, it is lightweight and the packaging is great but it was the one product from the range that I felt like I could have done without. I don't think it is better than what I currently use so I will just stick to what I use which is 10 times more expensive but it works so I'm going to stick to that.

Best hair food I have ever tried. Not only is the smell amazing but it keeps my hair super moisturized. I absolutely love it.

I love to use this to style my hair. I use it to keep the baby hairs flat and style my hair in between washes. A little goes a long way so be careful. It's a treatment and styles your hair in one

I did mention during the #TresemmeBotanic Insta Party that I’ve never really been a big fan of hair foods. But being given this hair food has reminded me of the importance of showing your SCALP some love too. I think it’s so easy for us to focus on our hair - take care of it from root to tip. How often do we neglect to base our scalps. Massaging the scalp is crucial because it increases circulation and encourages hair growth. The formula of this hair food is super lightweight, so when used solely for the purpose of basing your scalp your hair will never feel greasy or oversaturated (but if you have oily hair, then I suggest staying away from this product all together). Although the hair food is made mostly for the purpose of moisturising the scalp, I would sometimes put a bit on my finger tips and put some on my hair tips too. My very dry scalp needed this product, and so I used it on my damp, shampooed-and-conditioned head.

Finally a product that caters to our natural ethnic hair...I love most the fact that I can use the hair food on both me and my 7 years old daughter, its a bonus that it doesn't have build up problems and the added shine that it brings to me locs and her hair is 100%

I loved the hairfood. It brought back moisture into my hair without having a lot of product build up! Especially since it is an oil based product. It also helps with itchiness and irritation. I would recommend it to everyone.

The hair food keeps the hair moisturized and locks in the minerals needed for hair

I did not try this product as it contains mineral oils which is not good for my natural hair.
