Received this as a gift, its absolutely amazing, smells great too. The smell reminds me of the barbie cosmetics from when i was younger. I highly doubt there are cleaning detergents in there, body shop products list the ingredients.
This is one of those products that when I run out, I immediatley go out and purchase naother one. The smell of this stuff is amazing. And it lasts a while after using it. Its not one of those bath products where the smell only lasts in the shower. The polish leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. There are not a lot of exfoliating beads in the products but it still does its job really well.
When ever I walk out of The Body Shop, I have one of this in my Shopping Bag. It is the perfect combination between polish and body wash because it lathers up quite nicely. After using this my skin feels silky smooth and smells like I've been in a fruit fight(Bliss).. The tube is also great because it means no bacteria :)
The kids seem to love the body shop strawberry range and i literally have to race them to enjoy and use my strawberry products when i buy them even when i tell them that this is an exfoliator and not suitable for them! I usually catch them out cos the bathroom is heavenly scented for hours! Smells great and provides gentle exfoliation with lots of feel good sensation! At the price though i will have to stash it away from the kids
I am so impressed with this body scrub. I use it to exfoliate my body twice a week in the shower! Smells delicious and skin feels soft and pampered afterwards.
One of my favourite body polishes from the body shop. I think I love this one because it smells so great but most of the products from the Body Shop smell amazing so you can never go wrong with whatever flavour or scent you go with.
I love the Strawberry Body Polish. It offers gentle exfoliation and cleansing with Mediterranean strawberry extracts. The shells have exfoliative particles that aren’t too harsh on the skin; in fact, it is my favourite part of the body polish. They buff away the dead cells leaving your skin feeling soft, smooth and cleansed.
I usually use the strawberry shower gel before using the body polish and the two work so amazing together. It really intensifies my strawberry scent(which I love).
This is probably my body polish staple as far as all TBS body scrubs and polishes are concerned. It is perfect for every day use because it's a polish and not a scrub. The seeds are perfect for a gentle exfoliation that leaves your skin feeling smooth and nourished.
This one of the most luxurious body washes that I have ever used. It is a little expensive (I bought it last year for R180), but it is really worth every cent. The wash lathers really well, smells amazing and leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized (thanks to the honey). That is a true bonus for me, because my skin is naturally dry. I love that they have left strawberry seeds, along little kiwi seeds in the wash. It definitely helps exfoliate the skin and just reinforces the notion that you are washing with delicious fruit. The strawberry scent also lasts for hours, especially if you use another The Body Shop Strawberry product, such as the body cream, afterwards. I have received countless compliments. If you can’t afford the wash as a daily product, it is worth investing in it as a “every-now-and-again-treat” it is perfect as a sexy surprise for your significant other, or as a pamper teat for your “me-time” bath. Another bonus aspect for me about the product (or most products from The Body Shop) is the fact that it is not tested on animals and does not harm the environment. I would much rather support The Body Shop products, which are a little expensive at times, than cheaper or other expensive products that test on animals or pollute our environment. Pro Tip: Don’t try to eat the wash. You will regret it. It might smell delicious, but is a trap.
I love everything about this product, from the packaging to the texture. It has everything i need all in one! The strawberry fragrance clings to your skin, making you smell delicious all day!
I received the Strawberry Body Polish as a Birthday Gift and absolutely loved using this product, so much so that when it was finished I had to go out and buy another. It smells absolutely delicious and leaves skin feeling well moisturised. Natural Exfoliators leaves skin looking great. Love the packaging...great to add to a birthday gift. Priced around R90
I absolutely love the scent, there are very few strawberry scented cosmetics that I actually enjoy, most give me a headache. But this 1 is divine! And the scent lingers on and on! The only downfall for me is that this is more of a wash than a scrub. It's just too gentle for me. I'd prefer it to be more rough and grainy to really exfoliate, especially since the skin on our bodies's is more thicker
another true body shop favourite! this gorgeous product does a great job at gently exfoliating as well as cleansing for sweet, delicious skin! It has a great soap base and the strawberry seeds gently exfoliate, however, if you want a good rough exfoliation rather try another body shop range where they offer a body scrub. this is more of a daily use product. The scent isnt as strong as the body butter, but it still is great!
This is a great body scrub! I adore the smell, although it smells more like strawberry jube-jubes to me than actual strawberries, I dont know why! Its quite a gentle scrub, not too abrasive on the skin and leaves my skin feeling soft and oh so smooth! Would have loved a few more exfoliating particles though!
i was also given this as a gift and sadly it did not work for me. it smells and looks fabulous but after using it my skin broke out in a horrible rash and to confirm once my skin had recovered i used it again and the same thing happened. i then did some research on what they use in their products and it turns out it contains cleaning detergent which is why i had such a bad reaction to it so i dont buy body shop products for skin anymore but i do like their makeup
