Shield Clinical Protection

I absolutely lurrrrrv 'shield clinical protection', it is really THEE BEST BY FAR. And the scent is gorgeous. Keeps me fresh and dry ALL DAY, even in those stressful situations. :)

When I first heard about this product I didn't think that it would work, in fact it thought it could be possibly harmful because of the promise of 48 hour protection from sweating. I first tried this in the middle of Durban summer and would apply it in the morning after my shower, this was great although it did leave some deodorant marks on my clothes as the cream base is thick and white. I then was very nervous about trying this at night and showering again in the morning, but I must admit that this is incredibly effective, I would apply it at night and let the product work while I went to sleep, after my morning shower I wouldn't reapply and even managed to wear a long sleeve shirt with no excessive sweat.
This product is great, if you use it correctly you will see the results.

I got this in a rubybox a while back and i really enjoy using it! The scent is delicate fresh and long lasting! When I'm nervous i tend to sweat! You know how you forget how effective a product is till you stop using it and use something else! I'd finished this and used something else that i have! That was not nearly as effective! I use mine nightly and i must say its changed everything!This product keeps me bone dry even with heat and nerves! And its saved all my lovely chiffon shirts! Ill definitely have to repurchase! The semisolid cream wind up formulation was gentle not irritating and did not create a rash or pigmentation as I've had with other products! Im definitely buying this again and again!

I bought this about 2 months ago and use it mostly on hot days. It really does a great job in protecting my skin and preventing me from sweating.
I just dont like the smell that much and I cant remember now if there were other scents available.
But anyway, it doesn't really bother me.
And even though it works really weel in preventing me from sweating, it doesn't irritate my skin and dry my underarms out, its very gentle and i just love it!
Its lasting me for quite sometime now and compared to other deodrants, I find myself using less
I will keep repurchsing this product

I have been reading all the reviews on this product, and worried people not using it correctly!

I received this in a Rubybox and I am so happy I did! I have been suffering from excessive sweating for over 18 years, shield had a cream when I was younger that worked for me but sadly it was discontinued!

As for the new clinical protection, when applied properly it works better than I could ever hope to put into words here!

This product is not meant to be used as every other product on the market, but rather it is meant to be applied before bedtime!! This is when out bodies temperate is stable and the clinical protection gets it's work started! Our sweat glands are least active at night and therefore most receptive to the unique ingrediants in the tri-active shield clinical protection! Through out the night the formula builds up a strong level of protection that will keep you dry during the day time! Even if you have a shower in the morning! It is not neccasarry to reapply in the morning, two twists of the easy applicator per underarm will provide enough protection for up to 48 hours, although I apply mine every night!

I have used products that have to have a doctors prescription like Dri-clor which burned my underarms, also salt crystals and every anti perspirant on the market!
Shield Clinical Protection works! And the best part is I don't have to compromise on my level of protection on the days that I shave or epilate my underarms because it doesn't burn, the formula has no alcohol, and moisturizes my underarms as well!!

Finally an antiperspirant that is strong and hard against sweating, but gentle and kind to my skin, even when my skin is extra sensitive after shaving!!! The price is R80 but this well earned as in this little bottle is an extremely hard working anti perspirant! You get what you pay for, and this is something that you will never regret taking off the shelf

Was interested to give this one a go as I have had many situations where I have forgotten to apply a roll on or the effects have worn off by the time I gym in the evenings and perfumes can’t cover that horrid scent. Wow 2 clicks of the applicator applied to arm pits before bed and 48 hours of protection sounds like a miracle in a bottle. And wow was I impressed even hectic scrubbing while shower does affect the lasting power and it doesn’t contain any alcohol, it is quite creamy and moisturising and it dries in a flash unlike normal roll ons where I have to wait at least 5 mins before I dress in fear of ruining my clothing.

This product did not agree with me at all. Ever since shield has changed their formula it has irritated my skin to a point of getting a rash. Only used the product once.

I got this product in my RubyBox a couple of months ago. After finishing my usual deodorant I decided to give this a go.

Firstly, I'd like to say that I like the smell. But that's the only thing I like about it. It really does not give any "Wetness Protection", much to my dismay. To claim it has Clinical Wetness Protection is misleading. The word Clinical leaves the assumption that it actually works. It doesn't.

Furthermore, it gives off a terrible white powdery residue on all of my clothes, and even on my skin. And try as you might - you can't get it all off. It also leaves me quite itchy.

Lastly, the top of the applicator isn't quite smooth, so it catches and scratches. And your underarms is the LAST place you want tiny scratches.

Since I hate waste, I'll finish it. But I definitely will not buy it in the future.

I received a sample of this to try and it did not work for me. It only lasted about 1 hour and then I would have to refresh with body spray. And it gave me a terrible rash. No good for me

I have been using this Shield for 3mnths now, the first month was great. I honestly thought I have found the my product after years of searching for a product that works for me but I am sad to say Shield Clinical has given up on me, the Cape Town heat has taken over. I am still using it hoping it will redeem its self but, I am slowly but surely losing faith on it.

I recently got very excited to see that Foschini has brought in a discount make up range called Colours Limited. And while the colours aren't really limited, as the range is quite amazing, the quality is. They have a little bit of everything!
The presentation is stunning, everything looks so professional and appealing. I had to stop myself from purchasing everything, but looking back, I am glad I didn't.
At first glance, the eye shadow looks high quality with high pigmented, soft based eye shadow. I bought the Mosaic (soft) pallet for only R49.95 which boasts a range of 15 stunning colours perfect to complete any look.
Unfortunately, it is very low in pigment so doesn't spread very easily, and doesn't show up very well. The applicator supplied is not helpful at all, and I eventually opted for a eye shadow brush. Still, I didn't get a good look from this - which is highly disappointing, as I was hoping to extend my range with these beautiful colours!

I have been using this product for about a month now and at first I was quite impressed ( once I had figured out how to use it!)I love the soft, powdery-type scent, which is subtle enough not to interfere with my perfume, but just enough to feel feminine when you apply it. It is also a great product if you have sensitive skin, as it definitely doesn't irritate at all. What I don't like is that it kind off gives up the ghost on very hot days. I am not a particularly heavy sweater, but I have noticed that I need to reapply this product towards the end of the day, especially if it has been very hot or I have been rushing around. I really don't like the fact that it leaves white marks on dark clothing. This product is fine for winter, but it isn't the best for summer for me. I also don't feel it works well in times of stress. So this is a bit of a mixed review from me. But thumbs up to Shield for trying something new.

I enjoyed this product. I am user of Shield anti antiperspirants and this one has really proven to be great. It keeps you dry the whole day and no matter how many activities i do, i am still comfortable at the end of the day. Pricey but worth it

I ALSO FOUND THIS A BIT PRICY BUT IT WORKED , I SUFFER FROM HYPERHIDROSES ITS COMMENLY KNOWN AS SWEATING EXCESIVELY ON SURTEN PARTS OF YOUR BODY , AS I HAVE IT ON MY SCALP IM ALWAYS LOOKING LIKE I RAN A MARATHON.. SO I TRIED THIS YES I EVEN OUT IT ON MY FOREHEAD AND AT THE BACK OF MY NECK AND UNDER MY ARMS IT REALLY STYED DRY WITHOUT THE ODOUR OF SWEAT IM USING IT NOW DAILY IM NOT COMPLETELY CURRED BUT SWEATING LESS !!

This product achieves what it is meant to... It's kept me dry/sweat free all day as well as it has a pleasant smell which is released as the advert states in moments of stress and anxiety. The cream also serves as a good moisturizer for the armpits. Highly recommended

After using the same brand of roll on for a couple of years I thought I would give the new Shield a try. I have been using it for about a month.

It really lasts for 48 hours as promised, it smells really nice (a soft powdery scent) and it even reduced the colouration I had under my arms leaving my skin feeling super soft.

The product is a little pricey but I would recommend it.
