Sandal and Turmeric have been an essential part of the Indian woman’s skin care regimen for centuries. The tradition of Haldi uptans was an integral part of the bride’s wedding preparation- to make her skin look fairer and younger. Chandan was used to enhance a woman’s skin- making it smoother and more beautiful. But these traditional beauty treatments were too long and time-consuming for the busy Indian women to follow on a daily basis. With the passage of time these uptans became rituals reserved only for special occasions. So there was an opportunity to combine these traditional beauty treatments into one convenient form ..............and Wipro did just that.

I actually use this soap to bath as opposed to on my face.
I use it because of the strong sandalwood scent that I'm a fan of. But not sure about using it on my face. I haven't really noticed an improvement in skin tone or texture all over my body, hence the effectiveness in terms of "skin lightening" is questionable. But I use this product for the divine scent, so perhaps I'm using it incorrectly!

I use this product, it helped me combat my skin which is oily and prone to acne. I apply it on my damp skin leave it for like 5 minutes then washed it off

I recently bought this from a local Indian shop because I love using turmeric on my skin. It has so many amazing health benefits when used for skin care - it brightens skin, lightens blemishes and dark spots and removes excess oil and make up.
The first thing I noticed about this product was the smell - it has a lovely sandalwood scent. It lathers really well and does not stain at all (turmeric usually stains). I did not notice much of a difference when used alone, so I paired it with Vicco turmeric cream. This combination seems to be working as I have noticed a reduction in dark spots and pigmentation. It is still too early to see whether it will make a drastic difference (I've only used these products for about two weeks now).
For only R10 it is definitely worth a try!

Love this soap , it smells wonderful and makes the entire bathroom smell nice when I use it .
Growing up my mom always thought me that using tumeric is good for your skin .
This soap definitely helped my skin look healthier and brighter . I wouldn't say that there was a drastic difference , however I did notice a good change in my skin .
It wasnt as dull looking anymore .
Its available at most Indian stores and spice shops and sells for between R8 and R10.

I love this soap and mainly use it because of the amazing scent it has. The sandalwood has such a distinct yet gorgeous smell.
I'm sure many indian women know of it due to the claims that it brightens and helps the complexion but I haven't really seen this.
It isn't pricey at all , so people should definitely try it out.

Great product as it makes your skin soft and gives it a glow. Best results are when you use the santoor cream, which is great smelling and light. This soap has sandalwood which has great properties for your skin. Can be use for sensitive skin as well.

I love this soap. I have eczema and its difficult to use most soaps and body washes because my skin is very sensitive. I have been using this soap for many years and my skin feels great. Even though it is fragranced, my skin did not get irretated and it seems to agree to it. Its affordable and it works. I don't know about the whitening part though because its just like any other soap but it does make your skin glow .

This soap is cheap yes, but it dried my skin to the point that my skin felt too tight for my face!
I used it once on my face, then finished it as a body soap, personally I feel this soap is not gentle enough for use on the face

At R7 each it's a really gorgeous soap that can be used on face and body! It's sandalwood and tumeric combination had been used in Indian beauty treatments for years!its a little drying on the face but makes for a lovely spoil as a bath soap! U wont get a beauty treatment cheaper than this!

I love this soap :) the smell of the soap is so great, as much as its meant for Indian skin, I really wouldn't use it on my body, the results could be savory, instead I use it as a hand soap which is just perfect for me.
