When shopping for a Matte-Finish Foundation, you may have noticed there are not many options in the drugstore. But when I found the Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation my problems were solved. I suffered from extreme acne as a teenager and was left with many dell scares on my face. So finding a high coverage foundation has always been a challenge for me.
This is an excellent fragrance-free dupe for some high end products that definitely lives up to its name. Th…is foundation is light weight, it has absolute full coverage and lasts for the entire work day.
Packaged in a white, beige and purple tube, it is perfect for oily to combination skin types and like I’ve already said provides full coverage. I always use a primer and a press powder under and over all my foundation for that extra flawless look.
This foundation comes in 8 shades, all neutral colors. The finish is natural looking, its mousse texture allows for only a small bit of product to be used.
I recommend applying this foundation with a buffing brush or sponge for the full coverage finish.
The foundation dries quickly and allows for a second layer if you wish within an instant.
If you are looking for a high-coverage foundation this is definitely worth the money.

I have fallen in love with this one! I love this mousse foundation. It is the best one that I have ever used. The thickness doesn't really bother me, for me it makes application a little less messy. I think the coverage was great on my skin. I did apply powder but I feel like with this foundation you can get away without it because it appears matte. I love the quality of this foundation. I did notice that most stores that I went to only had 4 shades. I am not sure if this is the case in all stores but this does make it harder when it comes to matching shades. I can hardly find fault with this foundation that is why I am loving so much!

ive recently started using this and I must say it took a while getting used to the moose texture - ive always used a liquid foundation - this easily glides onto my skin and spreads evenly , im really happy with it, the only thing is that there aren't many shades available in this product - the one im using is a little darker for my skin , if I go one shade lighter it has a very pink under tone , making it a little difficult , but nothing that a powder cant fix :)

I waited for this Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation to grace South African shores for quite some time. As soon as it arrived, I rushed and purchased the foundation in the shade "Bronze". Bronze which is known to be the darkest shade in the range, blended into my skin perfectly for a "no make up" feel and look.
The foundation has a very unusual feel, it feels light and airy like mousse, but is nothing like a liquid, but once you apply it to skin, it melts into skin, leaving you with a flawless, dewy look. I'd say the coverage is medium, because the foundation does blend very well, but provide a good coverage.
If you have oily skin, then this is the foundation for you, it leaves skin looking fresh all day, with a matte finish but skin also looks dewy and not dry, with make up caking. For the price, I find this to be an affordable foundation, which provides a good coverage as well as leaves skin with a lovely texture.
