Rimmel Hide the Blemish Concealer

This is so good that I repurchased it on Saturday at Dischem. The packaging is different from the last one I bought, nonetheless it works amazingly.. The texture is smooth and goes on great. Covers my dark circles nicely.. I even use it as a foundation and have gotten quite alot of compliments..

I had high hopes for this concealer as I am a big fan of Rimmel and I have always had great experiences with its products. However, I have to say that this concealer was a disappointment.

The price is spot on, if you're looking at it from the perspective of someone who is looking for a great concealer and loves Rimmel (as I was). But looking at the quality of the product, I would not pay R89.90 for it.
The texture is not as smooth and even as it should be. It does not sit on the skin as well as I would expect it to and it is very difficult to blend in - especially when using it under the eyes. I also found that it didn't last as long as other concealers that I have tried.

I am very pale in complexion and did manage to find a colour which matched my skin perfectly (in the shade Ivory) which was a plus for me as I have some difficulties trying to find shades that match my tone; unfortunately this was wasted as the texture was just not great at all.

There are other concealers for R89.90 at stores such as Clicks and Dischem that would be far better worth the spot-on price.

I am one of those unfortunate women that struggles with dark rings under my eyes and therefore I do not go anywhere without concealer. I am on a mission to find the perfect concealer that looks natural and is smooth and creamy so it does not begin to crack on the skin. Rimmel may have made all my dreams come true with the Rimmel Hide the Blemish Concealer! I am completely sold on this concealer and the rings under my eyes are now a well hidden secret.

I used this concealer in the shade Sand and while I love the texture of this product, with my olive skin I thin the honey shade would blend in better.

When I opened this concealer (its a lipstick form) it was completely dry and wouldn't budge :/ All the other reviews on this are really positive but mine was not expired so I probably got the bad one in the batch but if I had not read all these good reviews I would definitely not bother with this product again.

I'm never without this product in my bag for touch ups, or on my dresser for my daily make-up routine!
It blends well to my skin tone and covers any blemish or imperfection easily.
Affordable price, lasts long. Definitely worth having.

I have been using this product for a few years after my previous brand was discontinued. This concealer applies smoothly and blends extremely well. I like using my concealer over my foundation for extra coverage of pimples or redness - and this product does the trick! Because it is so creamy and rich, it covers very well, meaning that you do not have to reapply as often as with other concealers.

I have used two of the shades available, and each matches your skin perfectly ( Depending on whether it is summer or winter)

The price is extremely competitive in comparisson with other brands.

Rimmel's hide the blemish concealer is everything you could want from make-up. It glides on smoothly, hiding those dark circles and pesky blemishes. It is also compact enough to pop into your handbag for convenience.

I bought this concealer years ago and only started using it again recently. I loved it then and I love it now. It's thick and very creamy and the lightest shade is perfect for my skin. This concealer hides blemishes very well, even extremely inflamed ones. It isn't medicated, but I find that it slightly dries out pimples.

It also works on dark circles, but it isn't as effective. It does crease and cake a bit. But I love using this on pimples. It lasts all day and looks very natural if blended in.

I would recommend using this for blemishes, but not for dark circles. It's inexpensive and has a rich creamy texture. I have read horrible reviews about this concealer, but it worked for me. That being said, it might not work for you.
