Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede

I bought 2 of these many years ago in "Cruise Collection" and "Finale" and they wore beautifully! I recommended them to everyone! I used up both colours as quickly as I got them. The colour lasted forever and they weren't drying on my lips at all. They didn't feel thick and icky either.

Then last year I bought another shade in "Trendsetter" and everything just felt off about it. The colour was insanely pretty and so vibrant and in your face but the formula was drier and thicker almost. The 1st few applications went fine but after a month or 2 it started feeling very unnatural on my lips. Almost wax crayon like. The product started building up on the inner rim of my lip and gunked up so much that when you remove it half of your lip is bare. AND IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE BECAUSE I SWORE BY THESE LIPPIES.

Somewhere, something went wrong but I will not be repurchasing this product ever again. I do however LOVE LOVE LOVE their Colourburst Matte Balms, Super Lustrous Lipstick and their HD Matte Liquid Lipstick.

I purchased this lipstick in the darker pink, fuschia kind of shade. I was so excited as the colour was absolutely gorgeous.

However, after several wears, I realised the quality of the lipstick is just not good. I'm not sure if it's because I bought an old one that had been sitting on the shelf for too long, or if the lipstick itself isn't good, but after about 10 minutes it literally flakes off of your lips (and my lips are exfoliated and hydrated so it's not my lips). It also made my lips feel parched. Definitely not a repurchase!

Revlon is 1 of the great products I knw,I love colour stay lippy it really stay 4 long hours!!

I love Revlon Colorstay products, they not too expensive and these lipsticks are great!! I don't like how they look when starts featuring though... But lasts a great amount of time

I was heartbroken when I finally bought this after eyeing it out forever. I bought Couture. It dried my lips out, no amount of lip balm underneath to help for moisturising, it clumps and sticks everywhere. I have tried EVERYTHING to try and get it to work nicely, to not stick and crack apart like it does. Such a pity, because there are some seriously gorgeous colours in the range, the packaging is great, and Revlon usually has really nice products. I was let down, and there is no way that I will be buying this again or recommending it to a friend.

This shade is pretty with a bit of mauve. It applies very smooth and creamy. But after settling it becomes sticky. Yes sticky...It dries up lips leaving them sticky!

The color is gorgeous and I wish I could find a dupe. The texture is ok, the lovely sheen soon turns matte and despite that it feels sticky.
It does not look good after the color cracks but it still stays put.
It's my perfect pink, I so much wish it performed as much as it looks.

I decided to check how it goes with eating, hoping that the eating and drinking will prove that it is my lipstick of choice for all eternity....What I wasn't expecting was the chunks of waxy product to adhere to my teeth! It starts out well but heads downhill rapidly. I had to take it off and reapply as touch ups made it worse.

I cannot recommend this lippy, gorgeous colour though! :(

These lipsticks are no where new to the beauty shelves and I've had mine for quite some time. The ColorStay Ultimate Suede lipsticks are extremely long lasting and very matte. At first I didn't really like these lipsticks because they used to make my lips feel absolutely uncomfortable, until I got used to them. You won't really feel anything suede on your lips, however if you exfoliate your lips often and you always use a very moisturising lip balm, a few minutes after applying the lipstick, if you feel your lips, they feel amazingly soft and smooth.

The product has a cute packaging which I find quite strong, the bottom barrel of the lipstick has the shade of the lipstick while the top part has a smooth velvet soft black barrel. The barrel has a hard clear plastic cover, while the lid is also a hard plastic lid, which displays most of the lipstick.

The lipstick shade 080 Fashionista is a burnt red shade which has a soft shimmer, the lipstick doesn't appear as dark on lips so it needs two or three layers to look like the actual shade. After applying the lipstick, it needs a few minutes to set in and lips may feel slightly sticky or tacky, after pressing you lips against a tissue, the sticky feeling should go away.

I find these lipsticks extremely long lasting, they last around 6 to 8 hours which I find impressive. I would really recommend you give these lipsticks a try, they retail around R120 which is reasonably worth it because you're getting your money's worth, however if you don't like your lips to feel waxy or heavy, I wouldn't recommend this product for you.

were i bought my lipstick suggested that i exfoliate my lips first.I thought to myself this is going to take extra time.So i did the exfoliating and applied the lipstick,im a huge fan of Revlon but my lips felt chapped,the color lasted,but the more it lasted the
more unflattering it started to look.So i wont go back to this one,but i still love Revlon products

This lipstick has a very natural stain that it gives your lips. Even when the gloss rubs off you lips are still stained with the color. Would buy it again most definitely.

I find this lipstick delivers the most amazing colour, without a doubt. Unfortunately I'm really not a fan of the waxy and heavy feeling. It makes me feel like there's something on my lips. Plus my lips feel really dry and this lipstick made my lips feel horribly hard and chapped. I wasn't a happy chappie.

Great color, lasts all day or all night long. Great for going out.The only thing is that i don't think its meant for everyday use, because i found that when i used it continuously everyday, my lips started to dry out. So i'm on and off it through out the week.
