Revlon Color Stay Eyeshadows

i have this palette and must say i really like it...

the colors are long lasting...
the only thing i dont like about the white is that its a bit messy... with out even trying it leaves traces all around the eye.... and it doesnt come off very easily... so i stick to the other 3 colors.. which are lovely and blend together perfectly

So normally retailing for around R170, I bought this for R70 on special at Clicks. The nice thing about this eyeshadow is that its long lasting for up to 16 hours, and comes with an eyeshadow applicator. On the back of the palette it also shows you how to apply the different shades to different areas of the eye. I liked most of the colours but the one seemed to come out quite yellow on my skin tone, but still a good buy.

its soft and easy to put on... i love the shine to the light tones as they spread evenly...
im a sucker for the dark smokey eye and what i do to add dramatic effect is wet my brush to add more depth to the colors... as the colors are not very dramatic

overall i use this for my every day subtle look and if i wanna be dramatic i just tweek it it add the drama :)

I love the natural colors in the range, and find it a bit expensive, but the quality is very good, it applie very smooth and I just like the colors.

There are 4 complementary shades that can be mixed and match to create a number of eye looks.

I have a nude quad which consists of a very light beige color,light brown, mid brown and a dark chocolate brown.I deal color’s for a every day look.
I gotta be honest I am not too impressed by the color pay off I was expecting much more from Revlon. The only one that stood out for me was the darker shade. Despite the lack of pigmentation the rest of the formula is great. They are blendable , smooth and long lasting.

The packaging is pretty standard. It’s black palette with a clear window that enables you to see the shadows. I like the instructions on how you can use the quad at the back , with numbers , it makes things so much easier.

Overall… It’s a pretty standard every day use product but nothing impressive to rave about.

I received this in my goody bag when attending the 2012 TGIF bridal show in Franschhoek. I love natural eyeshadow palettes and this seems to cover the basics, its easy to apply and no matter what applicator i use, it seems to distribute evenly over the eye lid. It is highly pigmented and truly does last with no touch ups required. Sometimes i use the base color on its own when going for a plain neutral look, and it works beautifully. Unfortunately can not comment on price as mine was a freebie :)

I tried and tested the eye shadow in 500 Addictive Intoxiquant, which consists of four neutral complimentary eye shadow shades. Not only are these colours perfect for everyday use, but Revlon have been very helpful and innovative by marking which eye shadow colour should be used where on your eye area.

The actual eye shadows are also highly pigmented and really do last throughout the day without any creasing. If an eye shadow doesn’t crease or fade, it’s a good eye shadow.

The eye shadow palette comes with an awesome applicator that holds the eye shadow well. The only problem about this compact was that it didn’t come with its own mirror inside, so it’s not really convenient for on-the-go makeup application.

I will continue to use this product and would recommend that everyone gives it a try. It’s great for those who are beginners with eye makeup. You just can’t go wrong with this eye shadow palette.

This is an absolute treat of a product.Not only is it affordable but also effective in achieving multiple looks.

The compact I have used is 525Siren which is a smokey grape palette. Its perfect for those wanting to rock the smokey-eyed look but dont really want the extremity of an over black look. This quad gives you directions on the back as well as a detailed picture of the eye area and what the result will look like. Used like instructed the effect is sensational and super easy to do on your own. A modern, alluring take on the standard black and grey smokey eye.

The eye shadow formula is soft and easy to apply and is very long wearing. It doesnt crease on eye lids nor does it flake off during application. It is also as simple to remove after its served its purpose. Although you're given instructions to use all 4 colours at once, I feel that each colour is just as amazing to be used on its own. The colours numbered 2 and 3 are my favourite as they give a very regal and polished look. Number 4 is the darkest of the purple colours and is very dramatic and sophisticated. Number 1 is a light almost lilac and silver colour combination that is perfect for the new Pastel take-over being seen.

I'm not certain as to what they retail for as the prices vary considerably between all stockists. The range is priced between R89.95 and R189.95 depending on sales, available stock and the latest colour ranges.

This is a great addition to all you Revlon devotees and your existing Revlon products or even for the newbie whose looking for something easy, sophisticated and reliable to try out.
