Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum

One of the things I can not go without these days is Paul Mitchell super skinny serum!
Iv got very long very fuzzy thick hair that requires a GHD to tame and is such a mission I only do it once a week. But this serum makes a huge difference, keeps my hair fuzz free and smooth all week even if I go jogging . And the smell is to die for!!!!
I find it a tad bit pricey but the big bottle lasts me about 10 months if I don't over do it so it's actually a good investment!

When it comes to my hair I am a total wash and go kinda gal. That does not mean that I do not care what I look like and I am always on the look out to tame the flyaways and frizz. Enter Super Skinny Serum by Paul Mitchell. It is a thermal heat protectant and claims to reduce blow drying time. Other reviews I have read said this is true however I would not know as I wouldn’t even know where to begin to look for my hair dryer I bought 20 years ago. What I can say is that a small pump of this serum smoothed onto my hair, does leave it shinier, softer and yes naturally air dried faster. Beware though more is not better as you may end up with a greasy mess if you use too much. Always pump the serum into your palms and then apply to the tips of towel dried hair first. Only once pretty much most the product has been worked into your ‘ponytail’ should you run your hands through your hair at the roots otherwise you’ll end up with a greasy scalp. At R 345 for 150 ml the Super Skinny Serum is not cheap but a little goes a long way so you do get your money’s worth.

Paul Mitchell's Heat Seal is an awesome product and a definite must-have for those who want sleek, smooth and glossy hair.
I love using this on towel-dried hair before I blow dry as it definitely helps with sealing the cuticles/ends of my hair and also gives me more manageable hair.

It really is a treat and gives your hair a nice gloss/sheen and helps to control frizz or hectic volume. I like using it as my hair tends to go wild if I just blow dry with no styling product as I have extremely thick hair.

The serum smells so divine and a little does go a long way. I like parting my hair in sections and putting a tiny bit in each section before I dry and style. A fantastic product that works well with the skinny serum is also from Paul Mitchell - the heat seal for those ladies who use heat styling tools on a daily basis. Overall, I definitely recommend this product and it is worth the price tag as it lasts you and is a must-have for gorgeous tresses!

I'm all for trying out new lotions and potions, and this serum is awesome in my opinion. I've never really been a fan of the range, but a friend recommended that i try it and i'm definately spreading the word now. It's worth trying out, i love the bottle and the pump is quick, easy and mess free! The scent of the serum is gorgeous, which is a MUST with any hair product for me. Great for use on wet or dry hair (i've tried both, same results), curly or straight hair! The mirror shine is amazing, it makes your hair look glossing and super healthy with shine! I love it!

OK- I am a lover of any product that makes my hair lovely and smooth and silky and soft and yeah I kinda love this one.. A LOT! when I saw this in my goodie bag I was extremely excited! I had heard of Paul Mitchell products and know that they are coveted:)

I've reviewed this before but I received it from the FAB ladies of the BB to use and review. I have to be honest, this is the best serum I've used. I have curly hair and lots of it. Blow drying my hair is quite a process and this serum makes that process easier. I apply it to my damp hair before I blow dry and it really makes all the difference. My hair feels softer and smoother after blow drying and there is less split end damage as it seals in moisture. I received the 25ml which Paul Mitchell brings out in summer as they're the travel sizes. This serum retails for R70 (that was what I paid in January this year so not sure on latest prices) so it really doesn't break the bank.

This product absolutely smells divine! It def tamed my hair to be not so fuzzy and less volume, which was perfect for me, cause my hair tends to go abit afro! Didnt completely control it into the sleek kinda curls I was hoping for tho, but def helped...

Using a serum on my "boskop" is essential. I have curly hair thats often dry and before I start blow drying I apply mostly to the ends of my hair to seal the cuticle and to prevent split ends which I am prone to. This serum really does help to smooth out my hair and gives a healthy shine. I also use this when I flat iron my hair, again it protects the hair and offers moisture. I bought this in January this year and its only half way so I really don't mind splurging on a product like this. It also doesn't hurt that it smells incredibly tummy, it reminds me of gummy sweets but thats just mad me.
