People always ask me where I get my nude lip colours and NYX has been my go to from day 1.
The liquid suedes are a little more hydrating than the lingerie but overall they’re all amazing and the soft matte lip creams match darker skin tones better even though I think they could be more product in the container.

I really love this product because it’s a matte finish and I love matte lippies but it doesn’t feel like matte on your lips it has this creamy soft feeling and that’s really good

This truly is the best matte lip cream that you can get!
I like the word "cream" in this product because it really does stay creamy and soft on the lips, whereas most other matte lip products crack on the lips and feel uncomfortable. It also lasts long and comes in many different shades to choose from!

I absolutely love these lip creams! :)
They have such a lovely range of shades - Although I prefer the browns and nudes.
The consistency is super soft and creamy, and the formula is very opaque, so you don't need multiple layers of product :) It dries down to a nice matte finish without overly drying out the lips, they still feel soft :)
They smell lovely, not like chemicals or cosmetics. The packaging is small and compact, good for carrying with you - They do transfer, but that's okay.
I will be buying more shades as soon as I can :)

Ladies you need to add this to your beauty shopping list!
It's by far one of my best lip make up products, up there with the likes of Inglot and MAC.
I absolutely love the matte look especially on the lips, it doesn't run over your lip line, it's neat & looks chic.
So naturally I had to try NYX soft matte lip cream.
Lips on fleek!
I especially love it because:
1. it gives a matte look without drying out lips;
2. It's long lasting;
3. Does not fade when eating or drinking or like in my case (talking too much ?).
4. NYX cosmetics is cruelty free - not tested on animals. ?
It's also super affordable at R120 (South Africa) each!

I have this in the shade Stockholm, and am now looking to grow my collection. Lovely colours, a thick mousse formula, and while they don't last all day, they last a decent amount of time during the day, even through eating and drinking. If you blot with tissue after applying, they'll last much longer too!

Long lasting Matte lips is what I get when I use these.
The pigments are excellent and vivid on my skin tone which is exactly what I want from a lipstick or lip cream. Application is smooth and easy. Like a soft cloud of suede on my lips, the applicator just glides on my lips. There is no flakiness throughout the day, it just stays in tact.
They have a wide selection of hues, a number of shades of the same hues too so you're bound to find something that suits you easily.
They rarely transfer so you can kiss and drink your tea freely.
I see a lot of close dupes for some popular high end shades from this range.
I enjoy the lip creams, but I think they're pushing it when they say that they are "ultra moisturising".

I actually quite like this product, have been switching between the NYX soft matte lip cream and the LA girl liquid lips. I purchased a subtle nude shade called Cannes and vibrant red called Amsterdam.
These amazingly have the opacity and intensity that most lipsticks don’t have (plus the amazing durability).
Sometimes, when my lips are a bit dry, it will settle into the dry patches only after a few hours but it isn’t too bad because it doesn’t actually dry the lips out. This is much more dry-lips-friendly than the LA girl liquid lipstick.
The initial finish is very creamy and matte, but after about half an hour it becomes fully matted. Some people complain that the creaminess eventually subsides, but I actually like it this way because after the creaminess is gone it turns fully matte and it somehow appears as if the color is infused together with the lips. It looks just like it’s my natural lip color because it stains the lips, but it’s not like a normal, thin “stain” either. It’s more like a thicker stain.
When it loses its creaminess, it still feels smooth though.
This product dries out a bit slow, but once it sets, it DOES. NOT. MOVE. It doesn’t budge, shift or smear. it stays in place and like I said, the color just infuses together with the lips, unlike lipsticks in general.

NYX Xtreme Shine Lip Cream in XLC10 Natural is neither a lipstick nor a gloss. It’s a liquid lipstick that goes on with full Xtreme colour and intense shine. It applies smoothly onto the lips like velvet, providing extreme pigmentation. I have to pair this lip cream with a darker lip liner to create the perfect ombre lip.

NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in LG155 Perfect/Parfait (10ml) delivers shine, moisture and softness and envelops lips with glistening colour. This lip gloss glides on the lips and leaves the lips with a beautiful shine, without an oily or greasy look and feel. It is not sticky to me. The staying power is great and it is moisturising as well. It looks great on its own or paired with lipstick. It has a pleasant sweet scent.

NYX Butter Gloss in BLG05 Crème Brulee (8ml) is a divine gloss that feels like it melts on the lips. The NYX Butter gloss is an amazing lip product. The formula is lightweight, non-sticky and it has no shimmer. This is a great nude colour for my skin tone. I can wear it alone or use a lip liner, with amazing results. It really feels like butter is melting on my lips. It also has a pleasant smell.

This is a smooth, non-drying matte lip cream. I love it because it's one of the few matte lip glosses that I've tried that doesn't dry out your lips or flake. Definitely a must-have. The colours are beautiful. I bought a pretty pink called Tokyo. Can't wait to try out all of the other colours

I love the fact that it is called a lip cream, and not lip gloss or lip stick, because it really is that, a very soft cream for your lips. I love how vibrant, but natural the colour looks and the matt finish doesn't go flaky, which I'm really impressed with. It also seems to assist my lipbalm in keeping in the moisture. Definitely no dry lips from this, and it stays on quite well.

I've saw SO many good things about the new NYX Matte Lip Cream range, and was so excited when it launched in SA so I could finally get my hands on them!! Okay so this isn't a lipstick, id say more of a stainer .. There's a variety of shades to choose from, my personal faves are Monte Carlo & Prague.. It looks like a gloss the first 5 seconds when applied, then settles in to a complete matte stainer, while leaving your lips completely moisturized!! This lip stainer stays on FOREVER, literally, even if you eat, drink etc, I had to remove it with a make up wipe after 7 hours! I would seriously recommend this range to everyone, and it has colors to suit every skin type and preferences.. It's beautiful and only needs to be applied once for the entire day.. You can grab yourself one of these at any clicks store for only R110..
