Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2 in 1

I used this product for about a week before I could physically see a difference, but I felt a difference after the first use. This magical face wash/mask has been my go-to face wash for months now. My skin was quite prone to breakouts of small pimples every now and then but since I started using the Neutrogena Visibly Clear face wash, the breakouts have stopped.
It feels absolutely wonderful on my skin as a wash and even better as a mask. When you apply it as a mask (usually in the shower) it has a very cooling effect on my skin, which makes it feel refreshed and super clean.

I personally wash with it once a day and use it as a mask at least once to twice a week and I have not had a problem with breakouts since. For the best results I pair it with a face exfoliating brush twice a week.
It is available almost anywhere for around R100.00, well worth the bucks!

Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2-in-1 Wash & Mask is supposed to help to remove impurities and clear spots for doubly clear skin. Its unique formula which contains Microclear, a breakthrough patented technology, quickly dissolves oil and helps to eliminate spot-causing bacteria. It can be used in 2 complementary ways:

As a wash: use daily, it effectively removes dirt, oil and impurities and helps reduce and prevent spots. In the morning and evening, massage onto wet face to work into a foamy lather, avoiding delicate eye area. Rinse with water.

As a mask: the soft clay based formula absorbs excess oil and unclogs pores to purify the skin. Smooth a thin layer over the face, and leave for 5 mins. Rinse well with water, removing remaining traces with cotton wool. Avoid the delicate eye area.

The Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2-in-1 Wash & Mask is too creamy for me to use daily as a wash. I prefer to use it as a mask. As a mask, it leaves my skin feeling clean and rid of impurities. I use it 3 times a week.

I bought this a while ago and I must say I was quite curious to see how this worked as a 2 in 1 product.
The product is a creamy soft formula that works as a face wash and can also be applied and left to dry as a face mask.

I must say I enjoyed it better as a mask as I feel it really worked deep into my skin to remove all dirt
As a face wash I was still happy as it cleaned deeply and made me less oily in my T zone .

When I tried this product I was excited because it doubles as a mask and a cleanser.

Unfortunately I found it to be too creamy on my skin and it was not much of a daily scrub as stated on the packaging. I had to follow with a different scrub to get that "I just washed my face" feeling that I love and expect after using a face wash.

My skin is combination skin but at times after rinsing I still felt like my pores were clogged.

It was not for me.

I would recommend it to someone who prefers a very soft scrub to cleanse.

I used this a few years ago, as a wash everyday, and as a mask twice a week!
It has a lot of tingle when you use it, and you can actually feel the skin tightening when applied as a mask, I would leave it on for 10 minutes!
It dried out my acne, but unfortunately also dried out the rest of my skin!!!!!

I absolutely love this product. Not only can it be used as a mask but also as a wash. It is a clay based mask which you keep on for as little as five minutes and the results are amazing. It instantly brightens the skin, reduces acne or breakouts and makes your skin feel soft and smooth. It smells great and is cost effective and available at your nearest Clicks outlet. I love using it for those "time of the month breakouts" as it ensures that the breakouts are minimized and manageable. Enjoy!

Not a great fan of this - bought it for myself and ended up giving it to my husband. Was just too harsh for my skin. As Amina says - it's really not a facewash! I was quite excited about a product that did both things, but it just doesn't.
My husband didn't like it either, so I'm afraid it's languishing in the back of some cupboard!

I am currently sitting with my laptop, waiting for this mask to dry on my face while I wait for it to dry.
The reason I put this under face masks and not face wash is because i really do not like this product as a face wash. The formula is too thick and if you take too long and get easily distracted (like I do) you will have to scraped this off your face. It does its job as a wash by removing dirt and help with impurities as it advertises but I just prefer to use it as a mask.
This is the only mask type product I have continued to buy over and over again. I could never find one I truly loved. I apply this mask to my dry skin and it tingles a little bit but it does not burn which is amazing. In the past, I have tried a mask and gotten it a little bit too close to my eyes and they burned to bad. I did not have this problem with this product at all. I then wait for it to dry. It dries completely after a minute but the bottle says to leave it on for 5 minutes and thats exactly what I do. I then wash my face off with warm water. This mask isn't hard to get off but sometimes i get lazy and end up taking a makeup sponge, wetting that and then taking the mask off. My skin feels so cool but the time I am done and as soon as air touches it, it sort of stings but not in a bad way. Once I have dried my face, i can immediately feel that it is softer and that all dirt, left over makeup and any other scary things that were on my face has now been stripped away. I have found that using this mask often does help with the random spots that I get and that it really does unclog my pores.
Definitely a must have product!
