I can't live without Mac Fix +. I use it before, during and after make up and even on the days where I don't want to wear make up, it really gives me that fresh cool feeling!
PRO TIP: Add highlighter powder in your Fix + (I add the Mac Soft and Gentle highlighter and shake it well. When you spray your face, you'll glow!)

I absolutely adore this product, I use it on myself and my clients all the time. Perfect to spritz on the face before or after, great for achieving a healthy glow or dewy skin effect, hydrates and refreshes skin and sets make up perfectly. Quite pricey but worth every buck, lasts for a long time.

My taste in makeup and use of makeup has grown so quickly in the past year, I tend to stick to MAC because I know the quality is always good and I have never been disappointed. I bought the fix+ in about June and I love it! It's so refreshing for the skin first of all. It really does intensify products such as eye shadow and highlighter. I bought the soft and gentle highlighter and was amazed by it and then all of a sudden it just wasn't the same, it wasn't as pigmented and all of that was sorted out with a little fix+ on my brush. I love drowning myself in this stuff after my makeup application as it gives such a fresh dewy appearance without it making it look like I've been sweating or have oily skin (which I do). It also sets my makeup like a dream!

I use this to bring my face to life after I powder it. I also use it to intensify the metallic shades in the urban decay naked 3 palette. It isn't a fixing spray, though. I do love it and I'll replace mine soon.

The Mac Fix + finishing mist only ever caught my eye after I had already spent an arm and a leg on lipsticks and lip liners at the Mac store which resulted in me never being able to buy it. However, countless youtube makeup gurus swore by the product so I eventually made a trip down to Mac with the clear intention of buying it. I am now one of the thousands of makeup enthusiasts who swear by the product.
At only R250.00 for R100 ml (which has lasted me over 3 months of everyday use), the product completely transforms all makeup looks as it can be used for multiple purposes.
The way I most commonly use the spray is as an "all over the face" mist after my foundation and powder to add a glow to my face and reduce the "caked" look I often give to myself.
I also often spray the mist on my blush brush before applying my blush to enhance the pigments of the blush so it really stands out on my dark skin.
The product has not reacted with my combination skin, and my mother's sensitive oily skin so it is definitely suitable for all skin types out there. In addition, the packaging makes it easy to travel with the product as the "lockable" head prevents leakage.
I definitely recommend the product to everyone trying to take their makeup game to the next level. This product will also serve as a great inexpensive Christmas gift for your loved ones.

It also helps make-up last longer and gives you a lovely dewy/satin kind of look. It is a must if you apply make-up regularly ..
It comes in a heavy duty plastic spray bottle that is transparent, so you may see how much product you have left (MAC has such elegant packaging!) ... You can twist the lid to stop the spray mechanism and this is handy when travelling as you know the risk of the product getting everywhere is reduced.
I especially love this product when applying eyeshadows. Spritz it onto your brush, dip into your eyeshadow and see the colour truly come to life when you apply it to your eyelids. It may seem like a 'waste' of money, but this stuff saves my dehydrated dull skin every single day!! Just a spray before and after makeup application and you'll feel like a million bucks! :)

This product is unbelievable. I spray it over my freshly applied makeup or even over makeup that's already been on the face for a while to freshen it up.

Packaging: Mine actually came in a black box (I see other people saying theirs came in a white box) which also has a shimmer to it, don't know why, but is still looks gorgeous and luxurious. The bottle is see-through which I like so that I can see the amount of product left. The cap is black and can turn to lock for traveling.
Product: I love using this product. It is versatile as it can be used before make up on a clean face to refresh your face and it feels great. Secondly it can be used after make up so that it doesn't look powdery and makes you look dewy and glowing. It can also be used to spray on brushes before applying foundation to make it blend easier or before eye shadow to intensify the shadow. It doesn't really prolong the wear of makeup as it is not a setting spray. Definitely recommend this product

I always apply it on my face in the mornings after applying makeup or if I'm going makeup-free for the day, I still use it over my moisturiser. Try keep it in the fridge for that extra refreshing feel.
A bottle lasts me on average about 6/8 months so I think this is great value for money if you're looking for something to set your makeup or just provide that extra kick of hydration.

This is probably one of the best products to have ! its extremely refreshing and good for your skin! I use it every morning, and some days the powder that I use on my skin can make my face look a little flakey, a few sprays of this and its all fixed and looking fresh!

So I kept avoiding purchasing this product because I wasn't sure how I felt about it, until I got it as a gift and got the chance to try it out, firstly I really have to say, I like the box, really classy white box which turns into a fine redish shimmer when it catches the light and the MAC embossed all over the box. So the box states that this product is "a soothing moisture mist that refreshes the skin and finishes make up. Hold bottle 12 inches away from face and spray evenly. Use before or after make up."
The actual bottle is a semi see through bottle with a silver finish with a soft matte twist lid (by twist lid I mean it moves a certain amount to open and close the bottle - like a safety lock) but the entire spray part does come off, not that you would need it too. The bottle has quite a large spray button (perfect to try and achieve an even spray).
The actual spray has vitamins which are good for the skin and the spray has a lovey soft clean scent which isn't too overpowering or strong. I've found two of my best uses for this product, one would be to use it after threading my face, which is a painful process - the Mac Fix + calms down my skin without allowing it to get red and all blotchy. My second use would be to set my make up, which gives me a fresh face all day long.
How do I know this product works? - it is a question a lot of people ask me, well I have really oily skin and I opt for a matte look most of the time, which means me using a mattifying powder which some times makes me look too powdery and a little weird looking with a few spritz of this Mac Fix + my skin gets a natural matey look without the weird look, plus it lasts at least 4 to 5 hours before I have to touch up my make up again.
I'd recommend this product for traveling when your skin needs an instant boost, as well as if you have a long night ahead. The 100ml bottle lasts quite long so you won't be running out, plus you don't really need a lot of product. There is also a travel size available for those nights to parties or clubs.
