The range is a must to have in your collection a absolute life saver, the fact that it is quick drying and stays on for weeks before fading is amazing, especially when you a mom, wife and working woman. There is barely any time to have a quiet moment trying to get my nails done without messing them up. But with Essence gel range! Within a matter of seconds I can get on the go again. Many of my friends and colleagues always compliment me on how stunning my nails along with the colours are! The colour range is amazing, and the price is really affordable.

I have a large nail product collection and mainly thanks to the super low price of the Essence brand. I love having a variety of colours to choose from and I generally grab a bottle with each Dischem visit.
They continually change the range of colours so its always fun to check on new stock.
I really enjoy the shape of the brush and the ease of its application. It does have a good coverage and finish.
Finish it off with a high end topcoat and you're good to go.

The essence gel range are a true life saver,being a wife and working lady ,i dont alway have time for having my nails done at a salon ,but with essence gel range ive had so many people ask me at what salon have you had you nails done and ofcourse what do i do? *smile :)* cause my trusted and tried essence nail polish has given me the best gel look , one coat usually last longer then applying a few coats but if yo do want a more intense colour a few colour usually does the trick, there a polish i usually use of essence its like a white under coat you put on before you apply a colour and it looks gorge and intense and no one will miss your stunning nails ,the colour range is amazing ,beautiful application and the price is really good ciao for now xx

I Received the amazing Red ( I forgot the exact name of the colour, oops)Christmas Gel Nail Polish In the Essence Advent Calendar. I immediately tried it on and I fell in love straight away. I applied the colour to my bare nail , waited for 5 minutes and then applied a second coat. The colour is so rich, not streaky at all or clumpy and the best part is that it doesn't take long to dry.
For me personally the colour stayed on for about 2 weeks before the tips starting chipping. So overall amazing product has the shine of gel nail polish without the hefty price. The colour is stunning for the Christmas festive time and I find it goes with all my outfits and looks.
Win Win Ladies. I would definitely buy this product again and the other Essence Gel Nail Polish and I have already recommended it to friends and family.

I have always loved doing my nails myself as I change the colour so often... I'm a total nail polish junky! I love Essence nail polish and the amazing variety of colours they stock. The price is really affordable so you don't feel guilty buying them often or even buying 3 or 4 of them at the same time. The brush is nice and broad which means you don't have to swipe over your nail so much, 2 or 3 strokes would do it. Look the quality is good but it will start to chip in the first 2 or 3 days, but what nailpolish does not start to chip? Using a good base coat and top coat would make it last longer, like any polish.
I can never justify spending more than R50 on nail colours now that Essence is here, they offer so many great colours and I love to play around with it.

I love essence products! Especially the nail polishes. It's very affordable especially for a student like me. The brush is really amazing compared to the other brands because it allows for better coverage and less mess.
The only problem I have with this polish, is that it dries out quickly or if not used continuously. Other than that, I love it!

I simply love and am obsessed with the gel range from essence!! Available at clicks for R29.99 which is damn affordable!!! It coats your nails beautifully with a slightly broader brush and just two coats of this looks like you've been at the salon for a mani pedi! And removal is just normal nail polish remover without acetone.. Simply love it and they available in a range of colours and glitter! I can't express how much I love this enough! Your nails will love you for this!

Love this brand of nail polish, the brush is round which is the perfect shape for that even polish, doesn't take forever to dry, doesn't clump, paints smoothly, nail polish doesn't dry out quickly so you could leave it out the fridge ;) all in all my favorite nail polish brand also not to mention they have tons of different shades! and you can find these little angels in clicks or dischem :)

In terms of the price, I highly recommend this product. To date I have purchased 4 of the Essence the Gel rage: in mint, dark red purple and of course the top coat! However, I do have to add that it does not last that long. It could perhaps last a little longer if i use it in conjunction with the base coat.

I Love these Essence nail polishes, I have throw all my other nail polishes out and now only use this brand. I even buy it for gifts for others. The quality is the best, I can paint today and three weeks later is still looks perfect. The are also affordable to the pocket.

I love these nail polishes i use them all the time in conjunction with the top and base coat. I looks beautiful and just like your gelish that you would do at a traditional salon. It doesnt last as long though. I use water a lot so that's my only issue.

Essence is one of my favorite brands when it comes to nail polish. Nail polish does not last more than two days on my nails, so to have an affordable nail polish that I can reapply after two days is great. They also have a large variety of colors to choose from and although choosing can be difficult. But I always tell myself that I can buy three to four Essence polishes for the price of one bottle of other nail polish brands.

I have two shades now in The Gel nail polish, and much prefer it over the brands I've used in the past. The polish makes for a smooth application, and is thick enough that one coat is sufficient!

I liked the older version of Essence's nail polishes (Colour & Go) better. I own about 6 shades. Though Essie is my favorite nail polish brand I buy new ones from Essence because they're extremely affordable and colour range is very diverse. The quality varies from shade to shade. Some of them are very opaque- one coat is enough. But most of them chip very fast. The applicator could be thinner.

So guys, I have two shades of this essence nail polish and I can honestly say that I would gladly work on building quite a collection. The formula is not to thick and not too thin, just the right consistency. What I love the most is that the applicator brush is slightly curved on the edges which makes application a breeze.
To ensure that you have long lasting nail polish it is recommended that you also purchase a base coat and a finishing coat that essence does produce. Using the base coat and finishing coat, the nail polish would easily last for about 2+ weeks.

I often change my nail colour so I am always looking for unique and affordable polishes. The Essence Gel Polishes are perfect for this and there is a huge variety of shades! My favourite shades are the dark reds/ maroons and more recently I have tried a shade called, "Dare it Nude" which is awesomely on trend at the moment. I wish they came in bigger bottles though as I tend to go through it quite quickly. Great price for a terrific product.

I am a huge fan of essence, there have been very few times that their products have disappointed me. I've been buying their nail polishes for a long time now, even before it became all about the gel nail polish. I love these nail polishes because they come in such a wide variety of colours and they apply really easily. The brush is also wide, which is perfect for me.
The only trouble that I have had with these gel nail polishes is that I found that they tend to go thicker a lot quicker. I have only used the bottle about 3 or 4 times before it starts going thick.
But other than that, it's a great product. And it's cheap, which is always a plus

This gel nail polish in question is clear with loads of gold glitter in it. It applies easily and looks quite amazing. It's not too over the top though so you can still rock it during the day but it's oh so perfect for a night out :p.. These nail polishes are nothing short of amazing .The Quality surpasses the price you pay .i love the glossy look of it and it's longevity compared to other brands. Ive tried most of the colors and have purchased a black one as well, I'm venturing on the dark side haha.

I really like this range of nail polish by essence BUT, only on my toe nails as it does not last on my fingernails :( I love the brush because its quite nice quality. I also love the wide range of colors it has in the range and it removes quite quickly. It does tend to chip at the ends of my nails but its easy to touch up without looking plastered on.

Love the cuteness and variety that the nail polishes comes in.
Just as a disclaimer, I am obsessed with getting a gelish (light - cured) treatment done. I then realized that my nail treatment does not last as long on my nails because I have very dry and flaky nails and so my gelish would start flake off by my tips and considering the fact that nail treatments are not the cheapest things ever, having it come off within a week or so is quite a bummer.
I then decided to go back to my Varsity love for Essence nail polishes and I came across the Gel Nails range and I thought hey, this is affordable and the colours are pretty so let me try them out. I was also thinking that if they do not last long, I could always reapply them because they come with regular old nail polish remover.
So I bought a few shades and I must say I love them. I do need to apply a few layers on my nails, especially with the Sweet As Candy colour (MY FAVORITE SHADE), but it looks perfect and delicate once I have applied a few layers. It is adorable. The glossy finish is cute, even if you do not apply the top coat that they have in the range, it still looks great.

Just as a disclaimer, I am obsessed with getting a gelish (light - cured) treatment done. I then realized that my nail treatment does not last as long on my nails because I have very dry and flaky nails and so my gelish would start flake off by my tips and considering the fact that nail treatments are not the cheapest things ever, having it come off within a week or so is quite a bummer.
I then decided to go back to my Varsity love for Essence nail polishes and I came across the Gel Nails range and I thought hey, this is affordable and the colours are pretty so let me try them out. I was also thinking that if they do not last long, I could always reapply them because they come with regular old nail polish remover.
So I bought a few shades and I must say I love them. I do need to apply a few layers on my nails, especially with the Sweet As Candy colour (MY FAVORITE SHADE), but it looks perfect and delicate once I have applied a few layers. It is adorable. The glossy finish is cute, even if you do not apply the top coat that they have in the range, it still looks great.
