Essence Pure Skin Anti-Spot Compact Powder

This is my go to affordable compact powder. It really is the most effective powder in that price range that I have found. It keeps my skin matte pretty much all day (except if Im outdoors in the sun a lot, then it has to be touched up) I cant say that it prevented breakouts but it definitely didn’t worsen or cause any new ones. This compact lasts me about 3 months (and that’s with daily use).
There are only 4 shades to choose from but because it is a lightweight powder it doesnt add heavy colour so you should find a shade that suits your skin.

this product is really nice and affordable but the same as in the essence compact powder range , they only have 4 colors to choose from , I have a very light almost pale skin tone and when using their powders it tends to give my skin a pinkish tint , not too nice, but when used with a bronzer it looks better :)

WOULDNT MIND TRYING THIS ONE OUT

I always used liquid foundation. That was until I realised it was blocking my pores and causing blackheads and pimples. I decided to try powder, but normal powder blocked my pores aswell. Then I saw this product and decided to give it a shot.

It covers the skin well and I don't get any pimples. It is also not as bad as normalcompact powder, as it contains zinc, which is healthy to the skin.
I use the shadee beige, since I have a very light skintone. I am really impr3ssed by what this product has done for me, all at the low price of R35. Wow! IMPRESSIVE! Thanks, Essence!

I have tried many many powders and this includes very expensive ones. My biggest problem is finding a shade that suits my skin tone - I don't like translucent powders as I like my powder to give me a little bit of coverage.

This powder, in Beige was a perfect match and was less than R50! It mattifies your skin without making it looked caked, which is fantastic. I have to say that a lot of cheaper powders have tended to make me breakout as they clog pores, yet this didn't do that at all.

Overall I would most definitely buy this again, and will in fact be making it one of my beauty staples.

This product comes in 4 colors:

01 - Beige
02 - Sand
03 - Nude
04 - Natural

I was uncertain as to which shade to pick, do i settled with 01 - beige, which seems to have worked well with my skin tone.

It's really soft to the touch and gives a nice matte finish. This powder does not look like you are wearing anything, usually some powders are visable on peoples faces, and looks caked on, this goes onto your skin so nice and smooth, and leaves it great looking.

I've been using this powder for almost a month now, and so far I'm really happy with it. It keeps my face matte all day and I do notice my skin has been clearing up ALOT! I dont have so many breakouts as before, and my skin feels less oily.

The best thing about this product is its price! When i bought it, R29.99, the price fluxuates though, but for anyone suffering with skin problems i would recommened this product hands down!
