It's the end of two weeks and my skin still looks great. I had to go and buy another soap because the first one finishes do quickly and the bar is fairly small but, I am not complaining. R 12,99 is a small price to pay for great looking skin.
The areas on my legs and arms, where I was attacked by mosquitoes have no healed and my skin is back to it's old even self with visually no traces of the marks.
I am soooo happy and I uploaded my video review, very short and sweet lol.
I would most certainly recommend this soap to anyone as part of your normal skin care hygiene.

I bought this product without real expectations. Little did I know that my staple bar of aqueous soap was to make me smile. I have eczema and its really difficult to find a soap that doesn't dry your skin but make it feel really clean as well. After years of suffering, its left my skin mottled on my calves. I have used Even Tone now for three weeks and my skin is smooth, nourished and the tone is starting to even out nicely. Those little brown bubbles are wonderful!

I am a firm believer in the Dettol Even Tone Hygiene Soap. I have skin allergies and eczema and I use this soap religiously - it helps with the scarring that occurs each time I scratch my skin. I would definitely recommend it to people who have the same skin ailments - Its a life saver and helps with conditioning the skin eliminating the dryness that happens each time I have a breakout

First Impressions
The soap retails for R11.49 from my local Checkers. This soap is also available from shoprite, clicks, and various pharmacies. First off I love the packaging not that its ultra luxurious but because it has a different look to it, from the other usual hygiene soaps from Dettol. The pearls on it, also hints that its of such a design to draw more of a female`s attention.
The soap is white in colour with dark brown particles in it. These brown particles are really not harsh on ones skin and Is easily absorbed away as the soap is used.

Yesterday I started my journey with this bar soap.
Packaging
Earthy colours are my favourite... The packaging is attracting enough, stone with a bit of white and the green Dettol badge not forgetting the pearls making it look luxurious!
I love the shape of this bar a bit shaped for easier grip, the scent is calming and soothing as well leaving the skin feeling clean from the very first use.
I haven't reacted from it, no itch, no breakouts and hopefully it will continue treating me kind.
I shall give a full review after two full weeks as requested.

I started my journey with Dettol Even Tone Hygien Soap and the first thing I noticed about the soap is the packaging. It is eye catching. The three pearls on the front moves from dark to light and that was very appealing to me.
I unwrapped the bar of soap and the fragrance the soap exudes is refreshing. I noticed the granules in the soap and when using the soap it feels like I am exfoliating my skin. The soap is gentle on the skin and helps to remove excess oils.
I love it and it is cost effective. I cant wait to see the results after two weeks of using it. After two weeks I will provide pictures of my skin before and after using the product.

I would describe the scent as a very fresh , spa-like smell. It's super scented - it leaves my bathroom smelling amazing!. However , when the product is applied to my face it's not overpowering which is a good thing in my books.

I think the quality of this product is excellent . It lather's up pretty well and is creamy. 175g lasted my mom and I a week .I think that's not bad as its so affordable and we used it on our bodies too.

First week:
During the first 3 days of usage my face did not agree with the soap , however from the 4th day onward I have started to see immense results.My skin started to approve the soap.

My overall results :
The only con about this product on my face is that it tends to make my face slightly dry but after i apply moisturizer i'm good to go. I would highly recommend this product for all you guys!.Hopefully you would be just as satisfied with this product as i am.

This soap is priced at around R12.50 from most local stores .
It's is a creamy colour with brown specks on it .
The soap lathers really well and has a nice scent. The more you use it the more prominent the speck become and they are actually there to help exfoliate the skin .
The soap is designed to help eliminate uneven skin tone which most people including myself suffer from
Considering that it has only been a week realists will not be perfect or entirely accurate but from what I have noticed the uneven pigmentation that is on my arms has lightened . My arms are very uneven due to it being in the direct rays of the sun whilst driving
It was patchy and darker in some spots than others . From using this bar the darkness is fading gradually and I honestly have noticed a difference.
I also want to note that with light minor scars from things like mosquito bites or odd pimples this soap is certainly helping to lighte them .
So that's it for now I am onto my next bar and will update as soon as I have more to tell you.

Today was day 1 for me using this soap..firstly, i must say i like the packaging and the little pearls on it ..definetly something a women would be drawn into purchasing . i could get the lovely fruity scent even before opening the wrapper.
The soap is shaped differently from what i expected, its curved in on both sides which i find easy to grip when lathering up in the shower . i love the grainy aspect ,its a great and gentle exfoliant . after i used it my skin felt really smooth all over . i spent extra time showering because it felt so good using the soap and the scent is just what i like,fruity and feminine.
With time i'm hoping to see it even out my skin tone ,i cannot wait to report back on that.

I am well into my second week of using this soap, i have already gone through a few bars...i'm enjoying it so much that my regular bath products are taking a back seat.
My whole family loves it ,we especially love the exfoliating aspect of the soap . Those tiny grains are so effective and gentle at exfoliating.
Who wouldn't be sceptical if they are told that a soap can even out skin tone ? I was totally sceptical and that's what made me take the challenge . i am pleasantly surprised to say that the skin on my hands ,which are always exposed to the sun and is darker that than the rest of my body ,has been lightened considerably . i am waiting anxiously to see more results with prolonged use.
I use this on my face too and that was a major leap of faith for me ..and i don't find it drying to my skin . it is very gentle and cleansing. I am also loving the feel of my skin each time i use the soap. The scent of the soap is nothing at all you would expect from a hygiene soap which is quite amazing. I love it.
Initially i thought the grains on the soap would come off onto my skin but no such thing ! Not a single grain rubbed off onto my skin and i also thought that with continued use the soap would lose its exfoliating properties, not so...in fact i find that it works better use after use.

I know I am supposed to wait at least two weeks before I compile this review but, I decided to do it today for two reasons.
Firstly, I realized that I will not have much soap left to write a review after two weeks because I am not the only one using it and, most of all
I was soooo impressed with the results of the soap I had to report asap before I got side tracked so here goes:
After I got the email about the Dettol challenge I immediately ordered my soap from takealot.com at only R 12.00. I started using it that very night and found it heavenly.
The soap smells like cocoa butter and butter oil with tiny micro particles that gently scrub your skin leaving it feeling completely soft, sooo moisturised and looking literally even toned.
My plan was to use the soap on all the areas where the mosquitoes bit me and left a nasty mark when the pimple healed. Last year, In December, I was viciously attacked by mosquitoes while on holiday in December. I had bumps all over my body and it took very long to heal. Up to February I still had bumps and scars.
That is why this even tone soap was so welcome and I was sooo excited to give it a shot. Please see my pictures at the end of this review.
I found the soap to be very mid and refreshing. Plus, no need for body moisturiser because the soap does all that for you and I noticed a significant improvement in my skin colour, from dark to light; more even in colour. I am so happy.
The unfortunate part is that I am not left with much soap because hubby also likes it. I think I have less than a quarter bar left after like almost 4 days.
Nevertheless, I am happy, my skin looks and feels great and I guess I can always buy another one later.
I love this soap so much.
For my finale I am going to upload a video review, at the end of next week to express just how much I enjoyed this soap helping me achieve an even skin tone.

The unfortunate part is that I am not left with much soap because hubby also likes it. I think I have less than a quarter bar left after like almost 4 days.
Nevertheless, I am happy, my skin looks and feels great and I guess I can always buy another one later.
I love this soap so much.
For my finale I am going to upload a video review, at the end of next week to express just how much I enjoyed this soap helping me achieve an even skin tone.

On week two week two with Dettol Even Tone Hygiene Soap
Not a happy face I'm afraid, I had breakouts and still do have them not sure if it's something I ate or the bar soap.
My skin does feel soft, my only worry is the breakouts on my cheeks and between my eyebrows besides it's a good bar soap. The scent is amazing an exfoliator itself.
Nothing for my marks so far and skin tone still the same I shall continue till it's finished.

I have bought this product and have used it I have blemishes on my chest n they are still there,yes the soap does.leave ur skin feeling cleaner n oil free but it did nothing for my marks
