The best hair product for Afro!!!

The mousse is amazing . It does what it says, very hydrating, moisturizing, great smell and it’s affordable I’ve used it multiple times in different hairstyles (wraps , braids and more) and I love it , I have no complaints.

if you want perfect edges don't hesitate to buy it
it doesn't really have a scent
its good for all hair types
there's a lot of product in the tube and you don't have to use a lot for your edges
and i don't recommend you use it on wet hair

Recently purchased the afri true naturals hair mayonnaise treatment and I must say my hair loved it. Smells amazing and made my hair so soft

The Afri True hydrating gel flaked my hair. I am really dissapointed , my wash n go failed because of the flakes . I personally thing it can only use to lay the edged and hair down and not to rack it all over the hair

So my cousin bought these products because she was transitioning from relaxed hair to natural hair and I've been helping her with her journey and it's been nothing but amazing. The shampoo leaves the hair rejuvenated and hydrated, the condition left it soft and easier to maintain as we all know two textures can be painful. The curl creme and gel helped the hair grow faster and helped us lay our edges flawlessly. We are currently using these products and we're satisfied. 10/10

I definitely like this range yes! It's super affordable and can be a basic monthly staple for any curly girl. The conditioer works well and leaves my hair feeling soft and manageable but also not very defined. The curl creme is good as well but really nothing above average but still decent enough to give life to curls. The gel I was very confused about, the instructions on the gel says to use as a curl definer? I used the gel as an edge control gel but still it didn't work well and left white residue sometimes, but at the same time I tried putting the gel all over my hair for "defined" curls but it just made my hair sticky and not nice at all. So uhmmm...yeah I was a bit confused. Otherwise not bad for the price!

I have been using the Afri true naturals products for more than a month now . The curling creme and hydrating gel work well on my hair(together), my hair was so mostuirised and soft for like 4 days. As for the shampoo and conditioner, they left my hair dry. I love the packaging and the smell of the products. You can only smell the product after usage. There is another product that they have(leave in detangler) works very well on my hair and really does detangle.

Been using the products for a month now & im still inlove & already bought more from clicks , the prices are so affordable..

Overall this is a great range. I absolutely love the conditioner. The hydrating gel helped to get my edges laid and keep back flyaways. The shampoo felt a bit dehydrating and I would've liked for the curl creme to absorb into my hair quicker and tame my frizz but it is still a great product. It Isn't heavy on the hair.

The range is super affordable and is good quality for the price. The entire range smells really good too.

I love these products so much, not only is my hair healthier and hydrated it also curls with ease. For someone with thick hair i must go through a lot to curl it but now my curls are so defined and bouncy also. What i love the most is how the gel dries clear and how my hair isn't dry and stiff when i use them.

So a few weeks ago Beauty Bulletin selected me to try out the Clicks AfriTrue Naturals range, so here's my review of the products.

The shampoo was good and cleansing, it was also quite foamy and it got the job done.
The conditioner also worked well on my hair especially for my detangling process, it also left my hair feeling soft.
With the curling creme a little goes a long way, I used it when doing a twist out and the results were good, I made the mistake of unraveling the twists whilst my hair was semi-wet so my hair was a bit frizzy and not as defined as I would've liked but nonetheless I enjoyed using this product.
When it comes to the hydrating gel, now let me tell you this, DO NOT use this on your hair if your have product build up and your hair is not freshly washed and clean because it will flake and leave a white residue on your hair, that's the mistake I made when I was using the gel to style my hair. However the gel luckily dried clear and the white residue disappeared but I definitely learnt my lesson.

Overall thoughts on this range,it's really good and affordable. I recommend you try it!

I had dry and damaged hair that would never curl. After my first wash with Clicks Afri-True Shampoo and Conditioner curls started bouncing from all over. I now have healthy and curly hair and i’ve had a lot of hair growth.

The shampoo was my least favorite product from this range because my bar felt quite dry after I wash it. My favorite products though were the curl creme & the curl gel. They were very effective in defining my curls so I would definitely recommend those two products from this range.

So I've used this products for about 3 weeks now and I've played around with it and found what works best for my hair type.

I have 3B curls with low porosity. The thing I struggle with alot is dryness and frizz.

I found that the curl Creme and the conditioner worked perfectly for my hair type. I absolutely feel inlove with the products.

Also I had defined curls for 7 Days straight which is totally new to me cause after day 3 my curls are a mess.

I love the gel but not as an all over gel as it makes my hair a tad bit sticky. It's however perfect for edges and it washes out easily so if you washing your face at night the gel comes right off, no build up, no hassles. Also don't let that fool you. It will keep those edges LAID.

The one product that I could go without is the shampoo. It was very drying on my hair. I feel like it would be perfect for those of you that get build up easily and have oiler hair.

I rarely get any buildup as my hair is thirsty and just soaks everything up.

Otherwise this range is amazing. My mom and both sisters are using it now as well, so it does and amazing job and the price is honestly the highlight.

The shampoo was okay it softened my hair but didn't clean my hair thoroughly.

The conditioner was great lovely slip, softening, creamy, thick and great for detangling.

The Curl Creme was amazing defined my curls, made it soft, and shiny, no crunch or crunch

The Curl power gel is super great, a little gel like cast on my hair but if you scrunch it goes away, made my curly hair last super long till day 4.

I love how it leaves my hair feeling soft , after the wash and when applying either the curl creme or gel since dry hair is one of the most common problem with natural hair especially your 4b and 4c.
The price is reasonable which is a plus because most hair products are expensive especially ones that are this effective, i encourage everyone to jump in , if you wont love the whole range i promise you will find atleast one product you love.

Its a really nice product which softens the hair and enhance curls/waves.

I’ve been using the Clicks Afri True Naturals range for a week now and this is my experience with the products:

1. The hydrating & softening Shampoo was easy to use & lather. It smells good & it’s also easy to wash off. So it doesn’t waste time.

2. The hydrating & softening conditioner was also a bliss to use. Wow. It’s not sticky, it strengthens hair, reduces breakage & keeps hair nourished.

3. The curl créme also works wonders because it keeps hair moisturized. If you have natural hair, you know how terribly dry it can get. The créme also made my hair feel soft, meaning easier to comb. No tangles. No breakage.

4. The hydrating gel made it super effortless to tame and style my kinky hair. Also keeps hair hydrated so that it doesn’t dry up, break or itch.

I had so much fun with the products & I’m still enjoying the benefits. To be honest, the last thing I need is hair that is too high maintenance & Clicks Afri True Naturals products just makes it a bliss to treat my natural hair.

So After 1 week of using these products I can honestly say I’m impressed.
They all smell really good, they have a sweet buy not overwhelming smell.

The shampoo lathers well and really cleaned my hair and scalp and my hair didn’t look or feel dry.

The conditioner left my hair feeling soo soft and I didn’t really struggle with detangling.

The curl crème definitely moisturized my hair from root to tip, my hair looked healthy , full of life and my curls were popping but needed a bit more definition

I didn’t use the gel during week 1 Because I wanted to see how defined my twists will look if I only use the curl crème but I’ll be using it during week two and have feedback for you.

Overall it’s a Yay from me

I've finally found a product that actually compliments my hair.

The shampoo, conditioner , the crème as well as the gel works so well for me.

The fact that this product is paraben, sulphate and mineral oil free is a huuuge bonus.

I'm currently in the transition phase with my natural hair, the heat damage was really nasty. This range of absolutely amazing products which is also so affordable has not let me down thus far.

I'd recommend you go out and try it for yourself. You can get it at Clicks stores.

The Clicks Afri True Naturals hydrating curl crèche is so moisturizing to my coily hair, I absolutely love just how fresh, soft & hydrated it feels since it’s always so dry. I combed it out to untangle it & I’m currently inlove with it being so soft. It’s stay on your for a while I guess this is also what makes it so effective.

I am inlove with these products. Its not easy to find products that guarantee to moisturise your hair without the product weighing hair down, my curls are alive and bouncy! Most importantly I have no grease residue that is going to damage my skin

This range made my hair feel so fresh and soft.. for the whole week I've been rocking my natural hair #nowigs and on top of that it smells absolutely amazing.

This product blew my mind for the price! I am especially a big fan of the Hydrating Gel. This pulls together and gets those loose curls into a nice tight twirl. I love it, because sometimes my ends don't always co-operate. Also, the smell - AMAZING!

So I tried this range out for the first time over the weekend. First of all it smells absolutely amazing. I LOVE well fragrance hair products! Hair can be smelly at times especially when you keep a protective style on for far too long.

In terms of usage, the shampoo did not lather instantaneously as your normal shampoo would and there was very minimal foam during washing.

The conditioner is very thick and spreads very well into the hair and you can actually feel how easily the hair softens once the conditioner is applied. It really makes it easier to remove hair knots with a wide tooth comb and have well detangled hair.

I followed up with the hydrating cream and my hair has been hydrated since the day of application. I did not have to do the normal routine of using a spray bottle with water + conditioner to make it more manageable.

In general, I had a good first wash and will give further updates in the coming weeks as I intend to wash my hair weekly.
