Avon Ultra Colour Lip Crayons - Fresh Fuchsia

Absolutely love lip crayons and chubby sticks, but this is the first range that i have seen in darker and vibrant and such sultry shades. (I have the Revlons ones but none of them have the colour and shade of this Avon Crayon in Fresh Fuchsia). I used this item with a hint of the new Revlon deep purple gloss for shine and it was a winner.

Avon Ultra Lip CrayonReddy for Me, Carefree Coral and Fresh FuchsiaOn Application:The Avon lip crayon definately meets its "2-in-1" purpose of easy 'lip liner' for the out lining of the lips and then 'full on lipstick' application for filling the entire lip there after.I am however a bit concerned on how it will hold its pointy-tip shape after numerous applications?Moisturising properties:Upon application the immediate feel of the lip crayon is not as liquid as lip gloss nor is it as dry as some lipsticks, its some where in between. This being said, it simply means it does not glide on like a gloss nor does it feel as dry as a lipstick.The lip crayon does not seem to have much moisture on the lips. The effect you get is more of a dry feeling after a while which is surprising because the visual appearance looks shiny with like a gloss finish - and for the fact that it contains shea butter.Perhaps more actual moisturising properties would be more beneficial to the care of the lips. A lip balm underneath (before application) however does give back that extra care. It would be so cool if the lip crayon kept your lips colourful and moisturised at the same time :)Visual appearance:These lip colours are bold and bright, definitely makes a statement. It will be great to wear on those special occasions or crazy nights out when you need just that pop of colour to complete your look. It is also very appealing to youngsters who are going for the "out there colourful funk" - colour keeping up with the trend of being bold and daring.This is not the type of colour that you would wear on an everyday basis to the office or work.Colour stay:The colour is bold and bright on application but eventually fades over time. It does not sink into the lips and dries up, it easily wipes onto material such as clothing if touched. This makes it harder to wear comfortably because you constantly have to avoid contact of your lips with your clothing or other materials.Packaging:I think the packaging of this product is flawless. Looks very presentable when you take into consideration the price that you are paying.Personal opinion and Overall rating:I don't think the lip crayon is to bad for its price but I do think with a bit of extra attention to those properties listed that it lacks it could be a very popular product for Avon. I would give this product a 6 out of 10 star rating because even though it does require some work I don't think it entirely lacks the purpose it was made for and that Avon was trying to achieve with it. I think the price is very affordable when compared to the well-known Clinique chubby stick.

I have to be brutally honest and say that I am not happy with the Avon lip crayons - I have dry lips and these crayons are not suitable for them.On application they feel too dry and it does not apply smoothly like lipstick and true to the name it feels like you literally have to colour in your lips to get a good shade of the colour.

I was sent 3 colors: Fresh Fuschia, Ready for me and Mauve Model- like the colors but don't like the fact that they all have glitter in it which means these crayons are only for a night time look.

I will be sticking to my lipsticks.

It stays on your lips all day, doesn't stay on your cup or glass after drinking your beverage and works great if you want to pop.

I use it as an eye shadow or blush depending on the colour clothing i wear. I really recommend all ladies to try it out, don't worry about the price though :) It is all worth it trust me!! If i were you I'd be contacting an Avon representative NOW. Thank you BB

I was very excited to be chosen to do this review of Avons ultra colour Crayons. I received the showstopper pink, fresh fuchsia, and the mauve. These were such awesome colours that I got for me the Mauve was aver subtle colour not all up in your face, beautiful colour I totally loved it. I love the way it smelled I found myself pouting all the time to smell it. What I also love was the glitter in it amazing. The Fresh fuchsia was a colour I would have never bought but that one is a very beautiful colour I totally loved this colour cause it was very different to what I will buy. This colour last so long you don't have to reapply all the time its like a tattoo it stays there. The best compliment was from my college who said that this lip colour looks so nice they just want to kiss me, I loved this one. The showstopper pink its what its name really mean showstopper this pink is all up in your face look at me I want to be notice that's what this colour stand for. Its also not the colour I would buy I was so scared of this colour. But I changed my mind it turn out to actually be a cool colour one to make a entrance with. I loved the way they all smelled and the fact that each one had me look differently and that fact that the colour lasted so long and it made my lips look so good. this is one amazing crayon and I would recommended it to anyone who wants a long lasting lip colour this is the one to go for.

I didnt have any issues with it rubbing off or smudging and it fits helpfully into my small handbag. lol

I received the risque rose,carefree coral and colour me nude. I've tried all of them and I must say it is a great product. It is rich in colour and the glitter make it amazing to wear all day long. It is also a great moisturizer.

The new Avon Ultra Colour Lip Crayon in Fresh Fuchsia is an exciting colour to wear. it has specks of glitter in it to give it extra shine when you wear it. It is, thus, perfect for a night out.

The lip colour lasts for a few hours before a retouch is necessary, however, the glitter stays on for far longer and is difficult to remove with a simple swipe with tissue.

Overly, i give this lip crayon a thumbs up mainly because of the vibrant colour and the moisturising properties.
