Avon Ideal Flawless Colour Correcting Cream : Medium Beige

The CC cream has been a staple in my cosmetic bag for the 2 weeks I have had this product. Having been someone who has always suffered with Foundation covering too much where I was comfortable with my natural skin, and making sections of my face (which I was trying to hide) look all the more obvious, this product was a godsend. For the past few months, I was beginning to give up on even applying foundation and concealer, because it never gave the desired effect that I always saw on Make-up Tutorials and celebrities. To go back to the thick and sometimes terribly staining foundation after using the Avon CC cream would be madness.

The first night I applied the product, a couple of hours before going out with my friends for the day, I was amazed at how easily my skin took the product. I always ensure I have moisturised my face well before putting on product and I was afraid that very reason might cancel out the effects of the cream. It didn't at all. Instructions on the CC cream only require you to apply it and blend well. Simple enough. Nothing too drastic happened at first...I couldn't even see any big difference in my reflection. Then I realised...that was the point, it didn't create a ghostly, one-dimensional mask as most foundations do...quite the opposite...it took my natural skin and ironed out kinks that always bothered me. After a few minutes, I realised my cheeks even had a bit of a glowing/dewy finish that I had always sought after and could never get right with just highlighter. It helped my blush slide on well, made my bronzer contour perfectly without having to worry about any darker pigmentation to create unwanted shadows...and it didn't feel thick at all!

Avon's CC Cream contains Oxybenzone in it as well, an organic compound that you find in sunscreens and many sun-protecting products. It offers protection of SPF50 and this makes the light application even better to wear during the day. You don't have to worry about sweating your product away either, the product allows your skin to breathe and moisturises it every step of the way.

For all the great points that the Ideal Flawless CC Cream has, there is the negative of that it doesn't have the exact same result as it does the first couple of hours you have it on for. It does fade a little, not much, but it lacks the dewiness and the smooth colour-correcting finish towards nighttime if you wear it all day.

Another small negative is that this does not help the appearance of minimising large pores, which can quickly be corrected by using a primer or filler beforehand.

For the tiny negatives I brought up, this product is amazing and to expect it to take on the job of primer, foundation, highlighter and to stay on 18hours is a little unrealistic. This product does the job and my skin feels as good as it did the day before I applied it.

CC creams are now the in thing so bb creams you can take the backseat for me.

I have oily skin and acne prone. So I have a lot of dark spots. I have always been looking for a product to help conceal not only my dark spots but also the dark circles under the eyes.

I loved the way it feels on my skin. This CC cream goes on light on the skin and absorbs very quickly leaves my pores well covered and face looking flawless. It also lasts throughout the day and didn’t get obscenely greasy or rubbed off.
It leaves my skin looking all natural. It also noticeably evened out my skin tone
Within the two weeks of use. Unlike the BB cream makes my skin feel pasted.

A must have item for any make up bag

There are 3 things i love in the make up world. Primer, CC Cream, and lipgloss. That being said, i currently have 5 CC creams opened, only 1 of which really does the job.

So, i had pretty high expectations for the all new CC Cream from Avon, but unfortunately this felk some what short and failed to impress me.

I have been using the Avon CC cream for just over 2 weeks now, every morning, without fail as I wanted to give a fair and honest review, these are my findings:

Pros:

There is a wide selection of colours to choose from so there is bound to be a shade for every skin tone. It has a lovely creamy texture, takes well to my skin and blends nicely and is a perfect colour match. The package is prettyand sleek, although a bit small for my liking, but easy to carry around in your handbag.

Cons:

Not suitable for oily skin. Seriously. It gives off a dewy finish which makes my face appear to have a slight shine, it also only has a wear of about 2 hours max and i find that it rubbs off quiet easily onto anything that comea into contact with my face. After regular use, i havent noticed a single improvemnt in my skin. So to me, this is just a sheer moisturizer... none of the CC properties coming through which is really sad.

I realy like Avon products, but ill have to give this one a pass...

I am truly blown away by this product , I was quite sceptical to review this product as I am not a fan of BB creams at all, so to my surprise the CC cream was light in application , non creasy and had a pleasant smell quite unlike it's sister product the BB cream which is heavy and awful smelling. Most people would use this colour corrector first before they apply their foundation , but I on the other hand I use it as a foundation and find it to be quite effective in covering up all the unwanted flaws in my skin. Once you apply do not wait to long to apply , as I dab a bit on all the contours of my face then blend it in to my skin thus covering all of my face and leaving a truly flawless look. The packaging is also beautiful and small enough to carry in my purse for any touch up emergencies. So I love products which can live up to their promises, because they become "Holy Grail" products and then it causes me to have separation issues with the product were I literally CANNOT live without the product. So over the past two weeks of using the product, I've learnt to love this Avon CC Cream, and I'm definitely going to tell you why, so you can see how just one single product, can benefit you in so many ways... So ladies, grab a snack and let us get this show on the road!

This is definitely my first CC Cream I've actually owned, however I've tested a few CC Creams before and to me I didn't actually see much interest in it because I use concealer. So a thumbs up to Avon for changing this mind of mine and making me fall in love with the new Avon CC cream. The most powerful point about this CC Cream for me is the SPF, honestly... It is the first CC Cream I've seen with a sunscreen that has SPF 50 and for a CC cream which has sunscreen in it, it still happens to be so lightweight and doesn't leave skin with a whitish after effect, double score for my ladies out there who love flawless skin with sun protection! This CC cream having sunscreen helps out on those rushed mornings, so you don't have to slap on some sunscreen, just moisturise and CC cream time.

Admit it, everybody wants that specific product which makes them look like they have absolutely no make up on, am I right ladies? This Avon CC cream has the perfect texture which blends into skin perfectly using any method of application you like (I've tried applying with my fingers as well as using a Blender Baby for an airbrushed look) and yet this CC cream melts into skin within seconds, leaving skin looking brighter, more enhanced, as well as give skin a gorgeous fresh look, to me it appeared my skin had a healthy glow while still appearing natural. Now let's talk about this imperfections, yes my imperfections where hidden, there were no blemishes showing, as well as no redness or dullness plus my skin had a much more even tone however the pigmentation was not completely hidden, however this wasn't a problem for me because I still use foundation over my CC Cream.

So my normal routine would be to use a primer under my foundation, however this time I skipped the primer and just used the CC cream and applied my foundation. I dusted off my look with some loose powder and began to judge my look... I can admit that my make up looked flawless, my skin looked so lit up and all imperfections were completely hidden, this was definitely the moment this CC cream had stolen my heart away, however if you don't use foundation and you just want to use the Avon CC Cream, you can always add an extra layer for coverage because the CC cream is very easy to blend and build on.

So I am going to end my review by talking about my experience after two weeks of using the CC cream, I feel my skin feels much more hydrated, appears a little smoother, at the moment my imperfections haven't vanished, however my skin is looking much more brighter and radiant which is thanks to the vitamin C in the product. So would I recommend this product? DEFINITELY! This product changes your entire make up routine from day one, it gives skin a gorgeous but naturally flawless appearance and leaves skin looking radiant and glowing, if you're willing to save up for this CC cream, I'd suggest you get it as soon as possible because it is truly a "holy grail" product currently on the market.

I found it a bit runny but a little goes a long way. In the morning after my usual cleanse, tone, moisturise, I apply my Sh'zen Primer and then the Avon CC Cream. It blends in well and adds a lovely clean canvas look - after my bronzer powder I'm good to go! Easy peasy! Love the fact that the scent of the cream isn't overpowering as well!
