I am super impressed with this eyeliner. I am the kind of girl who wears minimal everyday make-up and I will very rarely step out the door with no make-up, especially eyeliner, mascara and gloss!
The colour is beautiful and intense and the liner itself is very soft and easy to apply. It lasts quite a long time without fading/smudging. I also love that I don't need a sharpener to get more liner out (roll up liner) and it's quick and easy to apply.
I am also impressed with the price - very affordable.
This is the fist time I used glimmer stick. Initially I thought there would be some glimmer in the product but realist it's actually an eyeliner. It has a super soft nib and glided on easily but I have to say I found it difficult to remove. I have to make up remover and baby oil to to get it off. Great long lasting but a nightmare to remove.
I agree with azraa. The eyeliner did tend to fade after two to three hours and the line was not as distinct. I had eyeshadow under so that was not such a big problem for me. I have found that most of the sticks do seen to fade away. Not only the avon one. If I want a defined line to last through the day I use the gel pot from Bobbi Brown with a eyeliner brush

Doesn't need a sharpener as it twists up to access more product. Has a nice deep colour that reall opens eyes up! I have used it to create many different looks. Price wise it's very reasonable. Avon understands a woman's needs
Really? I love it especially when I want to create a flick...cat eye...the staying power is great but it can easily be smudged especially if wet! It gets frustrating because your left eye must match your right eye:) I do love this so much and I always get the 1 with glitter specs. .so glam

thanks to bb for choosin me to review the Avon products, was absolutly ecstatic to be chosen simply cos i am a fan of Avon products ,blackest black was sent to me to review and initially i had bought the twilight , simply love both the colors , really makes such a difference to my eyes.
Now when it comes to the Glimmerstick…that is right up my ally. I love eyeliner. I can simply just line my upper waterline and then add a visible but not bold cat eye in the outer corners of the eye, add tonnes of mascara (LOVE that stuff). For me personally, eyeliner completes the eye. It makes the eye appear bigger (when applied correctly) and so much more beautiful . If you know how to use the stuff to enhance the shape of your eye, your eyes will just pop! This Glimmerstick is amazing. It glides on so easily and is so intensely black, it defines fantastically! And the fact that it’s a retractable liner…no more sharpening of pencils (and I’ve actually lost my sharpener and I never remember to buy one so thanks Avon!). It lasts for a long time - I never need to re-apply throughout the day. It is bold and makes nyour eye stand out. I just love it and I would recommend it to anyone...a definite repurchase product in my books.
So I adore eyeliner. I use every colour I can find. On my lash line and in my lower lashes. The avon Glimmerstick is the easiest I have found to use, and you never need to sharpen it as it comes in a twist application! It hasn't irritated my sensitive eyes as I use in my actual eye on the inside lash line. I have smudged it and its not the best for smudging but for a nice solid line that is even and thin or thick its the best. Also it doesn't burn when I apply it so that's great not does it make my eye red or watery like some others I have used!
This is truly wonderful eyeliner. I am duly impressed. I usually buy them on special, and I must say they do the job very well. Simple application, solid colour and no real smudging. I usually use Cosmic Brown / Blackest Black, and I am impressed with them both. It is really hot where I stay and this eyeliner is rather durable, and takes a bit before it smudges and fades. I would say you get your cash worth and then some!
Great eyeliner.My eyes tear up a lot and it does to smudge easily.The price is not so great when it`s not on special,but last month bought 3 of the for only R90.
It makes such a difference to wear eyliner.My eyes pop up and look beautiful.
I used my sister's Glimmerstick in black and I was so disappointed. My eyes tear a lot so this was terrible for me. It smudged almost instantly. It is affordable and it's almost always on special and that's awesome but meh...
Avon always has these on specials so I end up picking them up. They are one of the most reliable eyeliners I have ever owned. You never have to worry about it smudging or disappearing. The eyeliner is really soft and applies easily. It also comes in a variety of colors. I know that when I put this on in the morning, I won't have to check some time during the day to see if it still there or if it has smudged.
Definitely a good investment and I recommend it to anyone
This is my most precious and favorite item in my make-up Bag! I start hyperventilating when Im running out lol! I love the fact that it doesnt smudge easily and its so easy to use! I have been using Avon's Glimmerstick Eyeliner for many years and I will use no other! LOVE LOVE LOVE ;0
This was my go to eyeliner for a long time, coz they went on special for R19 and I bought a massive load of them, till they ran out and I saw the price and never went back. But they are amazingly soft and glide on very smoth, longlasting and VERY pigmented. Their black is a true black.
This is my favourite eyeliner pencil! It stays on for long and glides on smoothly. I have no smudges and no transfer all day long. The best part is the product doesn't irritate eyes and is perfect for contact lens users.
The eyeliner is really affordable (and is often on special - thanks Avon!) and has a fantastic twist-up design so that the tip of your liner doesn't get ruined in the lid. It is incredibly soft and so pigmented, one application lasts me the whole day! No mess and the liner does not smudge or rub off after a few hours.
I have one in each colour :) it instantly gives sparkles to eyes and highlights eyes. It's perfect for a night out because its attention grabbing and all eyes will be on you :)
I have at least 5 of these lipliners in my kit. Very good quality and price, and comes in a good selection of colours. And they are retractable - no sharpening :)
The Glimmerstick Diamonds product does not last as long as we have liked. I have also found that the glitter they have in the pencil tend to scratch a bit upon application. Overall the product is great value for money and does the trick.
I purchased the Black Lace, and it is the perfect finishing touch for smoky eyes... I love this product. It is easy to apply, and the shimmer adds sparkle to your eyes.

Well I just bought this product a week ago at the Avon store in Gateway.I didnt really think the "dimaond look" will show as well as it does in the advert and too my surprise it does.
Of course, I love Avon Glimmersticks' twist and use, no sharpening eyeliner. However the diamonds range is not as effective as the ordinary glimmerstick liner in terms of colour. But when it comes to the glitter effect, I found that worked very well.
I was so disappointed when i tried it on the first time and found that it was way too hard and not very easy to apply and i'm not even to mention that it is nearly impossible to smudge and blend.
I left the office and was on my way home when my friends called and asked me to join them on a night out - I applied the Avon Glimmerstick Diamond Eyeliner and was ready in a second. This is perfect for those last minute arrangements and give you that superstar dramatic look.
I bought the Midnight Blue Glimmer stick about 4 months ago. It's my treat with I go out to functions, parties etc. It gives your eyes that extra glow. I apply the Glimmer Stick to give my eyes the smokey look. The nice thing is that it's has glittler which is always great for night outings
I simply love Avon's glimmersticks as not only are they well priced, they are convenient. No sharpening or blunt points to worry about, simply twist the bottom and you have a sharp, accurate point. I have one in every colour.
