Tresemme Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo

I can't go a week without dry shampoo! I have tried most brands. This one is not that different when compared to other brands, they all get the job done. However I do keep on repurchasing this specific brand as it the price is great and Tresseme is a trusted brand. The other thing about it is that the residue left behind is much less than with the other dry shampoos on the market. I am very satisfied with this product!

Tresseme's rendition of the dry shampoo left much to be desired in my experience with it. I had used it just as my hair started feeling slightly oily and to my dismay it actually looked like I had dandruff flakes. I had to wash it off the next day and it did not perform as it claimed to as my hair felt dirty oily and full of dandruff!!! Unfortunately this isn't one that I'll be purchasing again

The thing with having frizzy hair is that frequent washing just strips it off much needed moisture so dry shampoos are definitely my kind of product. This one is quite good in that It leaves my hair feeling and looking clean without any residue being left behind . It doesn't weigh my hair down and smells lovely, saves me so much time and hassle.

I don't find this product effective at all – baby powder works better on a day when my hair needs a wash. It doesn't leave my hair feeling clean, or any less oily.

I'm really not a big fan of this dry shampoo. It merely absorbs the oil, from the dirt. I don't know if it's all in the mind but it actually makes me hair feel dirtier. I have this in my ICE (in case of emergency) stash. I don't use it unless I really, really have to. So this can has lasted me more than 6 months. They say don't spray too much because a white residue will form, in my opinion, this white residue forms rather easily.

I have really thick hair and it takes a lot of maintenance for it to look good, and like most of us, I get lazy days where I don't wash my hair. This helps! BUT, I would recommend washing your hair after using this for a day. It takes away the oily look, but to me, my hair still doesn't feel clean. You also have to make sure you rub it all in at the roots otherwise it will show.

I wasn't too thrilled about this product, my hair does get oily a day after washing it.. I sprayed some to my roots a day after washing it, and it did take away a little shine, but not completely, after a few hours I was back to square one! The upside though, the smell is pleasant :)
I wouldn't be buying this product again, I don't think it's for people who have really oily roots or hair gets oily quick!

I've used several dry shampoos previously to using this product and all have been aerosol based cans. I quite like that this is a foam based formula and is different to these cans of product.
The foam is of course rather wet when applied to your hair, I like to apply it to my hair and then pop my hair in a pony before I shower and then once I'm done in the shower rub my hair with a towel, I find that this is effective as the product is able to settle into my hair to remove more oiliness.
This product is great for this winter where it has been so cold that washing my hair may have to take a back seat until a little later in the day when the weather heats up a bit.
It is a great product and I have thoroughly enjoyed using it.
If you are looking for an alternative to an aerosol base Dry Shampoo give this option a try.

I NEVER go without this dry shampoo.

I have tried other brands but this one is simply the BEST. It doesn't leave any white residue on your hair, it gives your hair volume for those days where you do not have time to wash your hair, it works perfectly.

It's great for those who have fringes/bangs because often your bangs need a wash before you long hair does - this a brilliant solution.

It smells good and removes excess oiliness from your hair.

I was fortunate enought to receive a sample size bottle in one of my Ruby boxes. Then I received another at a retail store as part of a promotion.
I left it in the box for months, and then one day I decided to use it. Simply bcos my bf told on the day of an important dinner he had made with friends.

I didnt use it on my whole head, I put up a Kardash bun, then sprayed my fringe.. I was looking as fresh as a daisy, and as stylish as a Hepburn :-)

It retails for approximately R72 - I havent bought a bottle yet, as I still have 1 small one left. But once I do, I will see if the price is worthy of the quantity.

This has got to be the best dry shampoo I've tried. My hair gets pretty oily so this is a great refresher for in between washes. I don't think any dry shampoo will give you the same results as an actual wash, but this one comes pretty close. Also it smells terrific!

*tip: try not to brush your hair too much afterwards as it will reverse the effets

I bought this as an alternative to my usual batiste dry shampoo which was out of stock! I liked the smell! However as i battle oily roots day 2 post shampoo from this brand i had hoped for better things! For me i had a sticky residue and found that unlike batiste which u spray on and brush through this product requires a quick blast from a hairdryer to really be effectual! With that in mind its not really the timesaver i had hoped for!

Miracle in a bottle especially for those who suffer from oily hair. The perfect solution for perking up my hair to ultimate freshness between washes! A must have for any handbag!

This did not work for me. Guess i'll have to fine some other dry shampoo to use. will have a look on this site on which other brands are good to use

I love Tresemme, I think their products are of great quality when one compares the prices with other brands on the market. This dry shampoo is no exception. My hair gets oily really quickly, and if I don't wash it everyday I am left with terrible looking roots (eeek). Enter Tresemme Dry Shampoo... I spray it into my roots and leave for a minute before combing my hair thoroughly. I am given an instant boost of volume along with fresh (looking and smelling) hair until my next wash. I even spray it on when my hair is clean, just for that added volume and freshness it gives. I would not recommend to be used after more than one skipped shampoo.

Love it, love it, love it, This is something every woman should have in her home, it works fantastically, I gym 3 to four times a week and use this once a week, and it is amazing, cleans like a dream!!!!!

Awesome product! cannot live without it! it allows me to walk an extra 2 days without washing my hair and thats a big bonus as I straighten my hair and it takes ages to do so. So this product means less damage to my hair and saving me a lot of time! Best thing since sliced bread!

I basically wash my hair everyday. In Winter I can get a bit lazy (its cold in the morning!) and tend to skip a day every now and then.

Back in the day, my mom would tell me to put just a bit of baby powder in my hair to reduce oiliness. However, a wrong move and your hair is basically grey all day!

Dry shampoo is basically putting powder in your hair without the residue (the modern equivalent). With this Tresseme prodct, your hair doesn't look 100% clean but it looks much better than it would without it. Usually, if i didn't wash my hair for a day I would put it in a pony tail. However, with this product I can get away with wearing it loose :)

I also did not like this product at all :( My hair felt and looked 'dirtier' than before trying this product. My curls looked terrible and I had to wash, condition and style my hair to get it looking okay again. Don't think this was designed to work for my type of curls.

I'm probably the only person who doesn't like this product. I noticed after using this product that it left a residue on my hair and even after I tried combing it out like the instructions say, it made it worse.

I prefer the Lee Staford brand when it comes to dry shampoo.

It works very well if your hair is not oily but great idea for in between days!

I have very oily hair and need to wash it pretty much everyday, I was pleasantly surprised with this dry shampoo, it's inexpensive and great when i'm just not in the mood to wash my hair. I highly recommend it for girls who have the same hair issues as me

I bought this and it works like a charm - part of my must haves now.

This product works wonders ! I keep an extra can just in case I run out. It removed all my oil and left my hair bouncy.

I love this dry shampoo. It leaves no powder residue and comes out almost completely clear on my hair. It has a subtle scent and my hair actually feels and looks cleaner then my Batiste one.

I get an extra day with this dry shampoo and the fact that this one is almost R20 cheaper then Batiste is enough reson for me repurchase it. I'm very happy with it and will most definitely reccomend it those girls looking for a dry shampoo or who are just starting to try them out.

This cannot replace a mid-week shampoo, but it certainly will keep your hair refreshed until you get chance to have a decent wash!

Being it the exam period and all, I never get time to really doll up and spend hours and hours making my hair look al pretty. During this period, I usually have to rough it and make do with baby powder to combat the oiliness from not washing it everyday. And that white residue that the powder leaves behind if you don't use it right is a big no no!

So after reading Miss Chloe's product review add on this wonderful amazing product, I just had to get my hands on a bottle. I think this baby has become my new best friend/weapon for the exam time lol

The fresh smell...My gosh its like I just dunked my head in shampoo! My hair was left smelling so fresh I bet no1 could tell I was walking with unwashed hair for days lol
It left none of that white residue baby powder leaves behind which made it extra easy to use by just spraying it on without worry. It did not leave my hair stiff as some hairsprays do and it was actually quite flowy and all the oiliness seemed eliminated from my hair. It really was like I just washed it!

Dry shampoo must definitely be one of the best inventions ever and Im really glad its been discovered!

I absolutely love this product and I don’t know how I lived without it before. I have naturally straight hair and it tends to get oily easily. I try to not wash my hair everyday as I heard it is not good for your hair. So I resort to washing it every second day. But on certain days my hair doesn’t even last till the next day and that is why this product has become a life saver for me. I love this product because it instantly removes the oily look from my hair and my hair is left smelling like I just shampooed it. The product has a lovely smell, and it works instantly. Just a few quick sprays and your hair looks and smells clean instantly! I love that the product is easy to use. All you do is shake the bottle before use and in between sprays, and lightly spritz it to the sections of your hair that look oily. Brush your hair through and your hair looks fabulous again!

I love using this product before teasing my hair as well because hair spray makes my hair feel brittle, which I don’t like, but this product leaves your hair feeling soft, yet gives it a lot of va-va-voom. This product is safe for colour treated hair, and it will prolong your colour because you won’t need to wash your hair every single day if your hair gets oily easily.
