2True Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Stain

Love this tint, but it is so hard to find. Ive tried so many clicks stores, and they dont have this.

Once applied you need to act fast, as it dries quite quickly

I decided to try the 2True Cheek and Lip Tint after I read the reviews of this product on the BeautyBulletin site, and I have definitely not been disappointed!

The Cheek and Lip Tint is one of the most versatile and fabulous beauty products I have ever bought. As the name suggests you can use this product as a blusher or a “lipstick”. The product comes in a liquid form, and that makes it especially ideal as a blush. Powder blushes always feel fake to me, so I rarely apply any, but the Cheek and Lip Tint, as a liquid, is easy to blend – It just looks incredibly subtle and natural. Just remember, as Shaheeda Peteresen also suggested, apply the Cheek and Lip Tint to a freshly moisturised skin. That is when you will get the best results.

It also works just as well as a lip tint (or lipstick). Just brush a little over your dry lips, wait a few seconds for the liquid to dry, and finish the look off with a bit of lip gloss. It looks amazing.

The only complaints I have is that there are only two different colours: Blush Pink (candy floss pink) and Rose (deep purple). I truly wish that there was a greater variety. I am sure it would make this product a lot more popular. Also, I am not impressed with the smell or taste of the product. I would have thought that it would at least smell and taste fruity – especially since it is also a lip stain.

This cheek and lip tint is a lovely berry shade which leave a sexy just ate a lollipop look to your lips. It has to be applied to dry lips and can be built up for more intense colour.The formulation is very liquid and on have to be careful when applying it as it can drip off the brush. As a cheek tint this product is a little tricky to use. It must be applied to just moisturised skin or over a liquid/cream foundation before you set it with powder. You must also work very quickly or it will look splotchy on your cheeks. The colour is sheer and natural looking when applied well. My only gripe with this product is that I wish it was more blendable. A trick I use is to apply a tiny amount of foundation primer first and then apply the tint over it and blend like crazy.

This is exactly the same as the extremely expensive Benefit benetint. It doesn't have the same scent, but it does have the same rosy glow. Although I think this one might be more pigmented then the benefit one. I dot a few spots on my cheeks and then blend it in. It creates a lovely, flushed look that's dewy. You have to work super fast with this stuff as it dries incredibly quickly. This also works on your lips as a stain and I like to wear it under lipstick so that any lip colour I have on stays there for longer. This stain lasts all day on my cheeks but definitely fades a lot faster on my lips
